I am writing this complaint to inform you that 5 days ago my sim was blocked due to an unknown reason. When i contacted vodafone care then said to generate a new duplicate sim card without telling me what the problem was. I did the same as they told and purchased a new duplicate sim card with same number from a vodafone store. But now my problem is that my duplicate sim card is not activated since last 5 days and all my works are pending due to that. I tried to contact at service centres and many more place but got no response. It is very hard to do my job work without that number. Kindly take an action very soon so that my problem is get solved.     Yesterday i. E 20th june i went to vodafone store-malad west opp infinity mall to get a new sim card for the no. I am using, your executive informed me that since the no. I am using is not on my name so i have to take a post paid connection which i agreed to.
    Then i said her that i need a minimal rental plan as i am already using a post paid connection which i am happy with and this no. Is just for keeping as i'm using this no. From a long time and all my bank details are linked with this no.
    They said they will give 99 plan which i ws ok with and i came home back today when i checked my plan details it was 399
    What is this now??
    Its fraud, are you people going to pay the bill that you are putting me on your plan acc to your wish
    Highly disappointed!!!
    Then i called on the customer care no. They said 99 plan is not in use at the moment by vodafone so she put me for 199 plan
    .
    Kindly look in to the matter when you people are investing in your infrastructure you should also invest into training & learning of your employees.. God knows what they are doing sitting in the store giving wrong info to customers..

      On 08th jun 2017, click nation pack was activated even though i never requested for it. I have been a loyal customer to this network (Vodafone), but this kind of cheap tactics was not expected.
      So i want a refund of 35 rupees in this number ([protected]) asap.
      As there are many other players in this field, i wont hesitate to switch my network if this kind of incidents happen again.

        A bad experience:
        I travelled to the united states recently and availed of a 30 days pack which allowed me to enjoy unlimited data & calls in the usa. The pack also had a feature of extending beyond 30 days @ rs. 500/day.

        My network started only a day after reaching the us and that too after a lot of follow up thru international calls with a long hold time listening to all the promotional stuff.

        I returned after 34 days and on landing in india found the outgoing calls barred.

        Reaching out to a representative at vodafone was the next big challenge and after several attempts the standard answer was "we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience". I was also told that i need to pay an outstanding amount of over rs. 55000/- for restoring the outgoing facility and wait till the 28th of june for getting any break up.

        Have been a customer of vodafone for over 25 years and extremely disappointed with their high handedness with no fault of mine.

        Can someone from the senior team of vodafone reach out to me and do something about this as baring outgoing call is a huge inconvenience.

          I have been recently transferred to bangalore from mumbai. My wife is using vodafone number [protected] till now. I went to vodafone centre, new bel road for changing the old sim to nano sim on 16 jun 17, i was told by mr naveen that since the sim is of mumbai i should come on 20 jun 17 for the new sim.

          Today on 20 jun 17 i was attended by one service engineer and mr chandra shekhar and told that the sim has not come. I asked him to port my sim for bangalore in that case. Both agreed to do it.

          But was surprised to see that this simple thing could also not be done by them. Technical excuses were given by chandrashekhar.

          I consequently having waited for more than 35 minutes and thereafter left the vodafone showroom disappointed.

          The bad service rendered at this service centre is very appalling.

          May i kindly request you to take necessary action and arrange for the nano card at an early date.

            I have done recharge of rs.249 unlimited internet for 28 days, after 4 days vodafone started deducting my balance this is how profession companies works as well i did the recharge of 55 that plan is also not working on the same.               I've got constant sms alerts about sim uprgradation and that my sim will expire if i don't upgrade from 3g to 4g is that mandatory to do? What if my phone does not supports 4g? Are every 3g vodafone sims beings upgraded to 4g in entire india? Are we not supposed to know the reason behind it? Just sending an alert that sim will expire is sufficient? What if the person doesn't wants to experience the 4g offers? Atleast one message stating the issues had to be sent you people can sent millions of messages stating that sim will expire if we don't upgrade but not the reason behind it? Will vodafone not provide the 3g services in india or what is the reason? Can you plz look after it?

              Now I am also getting this alert/warning. The expiry date is 15 July 2017. And the thing is that I am out of India so I would have to give up my sim and number.

              Vodafone must answer this.
              Amgetting the same message. Its showing that the expiry date is 30th july. Should the simreally expiry?
              I'm getting the same message, I'm out of India and my Vodafone number is linked to my bank OTP, Adhaar etc. If the sun expires then most ppl in my situation will b handicapped. Not sure Vodafone has any strategy to help such customers.
              I received the same sms. Why is this compulsory? If I don't have a 4g handset then why would I upgrade? This is forced upon us which is not correct. If my number is expired then I'll never ever come back to vodafone again!!!

              I complained to Vodafone on twitter. They called back saying that it's a bad choice of words from their marketing department. The sim will continue to work - don't worry or line up outside their store...
              Vodafone is sending sms alerts and now even recorded calls that 3g sim is expiring. What a cheap marketing strategy. What do they think that people now a days have a mindset of stone age. If you want to sell your product why can't they adopt a straight and honest method.

                A vas has been activated without my knowledge. And i have been trying to deactivate it for quite a while. It hasn't happened. Customer care seems to be saying the same thing instead of addressing my problem. The vas does not get deactivated. I have tried deactivating it many times. So please do not tell me how to deactivate it and enrage me. Deactivate that service which i am not interested in. I do not need dotbot. I don't really understand the play that you guys are making. People have enough problems already. Resolve my issue soon. And again i don't need instructions telling me to send 'stop' to some number. I have tried. Seriously, you guys need to upgrade your customer service helpline. You have the worst of the bunch. My email id is [protected]@gmail.com

                        Myself parshan sharma and my problem was that my wife took postpaid sim and use for 3 years when we want to deactivate the sim the ask to mail to vodafone customers care after we did not message for 2-3 month and in 4 month call come from vodafone and said you have due for rupees 2k and some change i said we already mail your company to deactivate the sim then they said i don't know but bill for this must of amount came you have to pay i said i am not paying then they said ok and cut the phone and send a person and the person who sent by them, he call me and ask me are you januka and i say yes i am her husband he said okay i have caurier for her i said okay come then when he enter my room. He start that i will call police if you don't pay bill and he ask me to talk with lawer and lawer also the same talk i asked them if i pay now you will deactivate the sim he said yes i paid and he said in 30 min it will deactivate i said okay and he run off and sim still working and today (20/june/2017) they called and ask to pay 3500 rupees. But still the same answer i will not pay any single amount please do something for us sir.

                          Sir,
                          I had taken connection on date 23/05/2017 phone number [protected]. At the time of new sim connection thry told me that i will get 4g full signal at both plant & colony. But in colony at my quarter no 4g signal is coming & 3g signal is coming only 2 point that is also fluctuating, i am unable to open my mail account & other sites are not opening & in case of plant area there is no 4g & 3g signal only 2g is coming. For this issue i had already 3 times requested them but no response & no improvement. Therefore i had requested to disconnect & disable this sim. This mail i send on 05/06/2017 they replied that it will take some times & my connection will be complete disconnected by date 17/06/2017. Still they had not disconnected my sim. The main key person mr. Aditya (Mobile-[protected]) is not receiving my phone as soon as he got news of my request for disconnection of sim. Still they have not disconnected sim & they are loading on bill but i dont want to pay after 05/06/2017 the time when i requested them to permanently disconnection of sim i am attaching the email rethis conversation

                            I am sai kumar, i want to give a complaint. This is ridiculous, just to give a complaint i tried hundreds of times calling vodafone care and going to vodafone store. They gave me 666 plan for 333 for 6 months. And without letting me know when it will expire they changed my plan and charged me 935 rupees. Now two bills generated for more than 2000. No one informed anything about the plan. Right now you stopped my services. Without my permission they activated some special services i texted back to stop the services. Someone from vodafone care called me and told that i can pay my 333 amount with tax and they will wave off the extra charges and also told that they will call me back in few hours but no ringed me back. I received so many calls from vodafone care everyone disconnected the call after listening to the query. It's very annoying to be a part of vodafone. Vodafone india don't care about their customers.

                              My no is [protected](Vodafone Kolkata) which is belongs to my wife. Every Month service provider charged additional against VAS (Value added service). I do not notice the same from past three month. Whatever the billing amount they have charge I have paid. Recently I have notice that my billing amount is excessively high. Looking for the reason I have found that some VAS has been activated in my no and it has renewed every month without my knowledge. I have contact service provider for query in the month of April (for March billing) and they have reduced my billing amount of Rs 400/-. Again I have complain in the month of May (April month billing) against excess billing ant they have reduced the bill of Rs 275/- which is reflected in May billing cycle.
                              But again in May bill they have charged Rs 340/- against VAS(Which I have no idea to use) and now they are denying to reduced. Now they are not entertain us and continue creating pressure to pay the bill with VAS service.
                              In the attached file it is clearly showing the previous deducted amount.

                                I have recieced a message in vodafone activated a dotpot pack on my number without my prior concernt. Here is the mesaage -

                                "hello! Dotbot pack is now active on your number, as requested. This service is valid till[protected] and a 15 days rental of rs.75 will reflect in your next bill. To deactivate sms stop to or call 155223 (Toll free). To download callertune app click hyperurl.co/vs"

                                So i want to deactivate this faltu service n want my money back.

                                  As per my previous call to customercare/complaint to vodafone regarding exhaustive mobile bill, no any satisfactory answer by you against my complain. The reasons are following :-
                                  1) that when i go to bangkok then my credit limit was rs.3000/-.
                                  2) that i assured that my services will be stopped after rs.3000/-.
                                  3) that for extension the credit limit neither i requested to you nor any
                                  Confirmation/msg from your side.
                                  4) that when i come back on 17/05/2017 than app showing the heavy amount, then i complained to customer care he told me that respons will be in 48 hrs., but no any calls recd. By us.
                                  5) that my services was continious till 10/06/2017. Than disconnected.
                                  6) that i requested to sr. Mr. Vineet on 17/06/2017 for continue of services, he told me that whithin 24 hrs. I will reply but no calls has been recd.
                                  7) sir, i am not satisfy your billing amount. I can pay only rs.3000/- (Maximum credit limit) against this billing period, i request to you please activate my services beacuse it is my pofessional mobile number.

                                      On the name DotBot value added service Vodafone deducts amount from my prepaid balance. I had never asked for the services but it was forcibly imposed on my Vodafone no.[protected]. it aggrieved me a lot. It is tort.
