Vodafone india — not able to send sms for porting in., 1900

Dear sir,
I wanted to port vodafone maharashtra to vodafone karnataka, for that i have visited to vodafone store near marathhalli filled the form then executive told me to send port mess to 1900 but i am not able to send only for 1900... "message could not sent" is showing... Tried 10 time...
By speking to custmer care for solution... They keep giving non sense / irrilavent solutions: -

1. I did not recharged my mobile, as for as company rules so outgoing sms barred... But monthly iam recharging
My mobile not less than 250rs.
2. I suppose to change message centre no.- did the same but no result...
3. I have to change the handset - tried but no result...

    I misplaced the sim card form my wallet, possibly i dropped it somewhere unknowingly about 10 days ago and now i have come to know that someone is using the same number. I want to deactivate the sim as soon as possible to avoid any untoward incident. I am about to lodge a police complaint as well about the lost sim but it would be better if you can block the sim asap since someone has got hold of it and is already using the sim that is registered under my name.

      I have been trying to send porting sms to port my vodafone number to jio. But when i try sending "port 9*57" to 1900, the sending fails and it says "message not sent". (Though even the sending failed multiple times, sms charges got deducted everytime!!!)

      I tried sending other messages to check if my sms service is blocked for some reason but seems that's not the case as messages to other numbers are going through. I also checked my prepaid balance, that's also enough to make calls and smss.
      /
      I think vodafone is blocking the porting requests. What should i do?

        This is the nth time this has been happening to me. I have been a Vodafone customer for more than 2 years now. Now again Vodafone has deducted from my main balance by activating certain packs that I haven't even requested for. Everytime I recharge my number, this happens. Please look into the matter ASAP. This seems like some sort of scam! The most recent pack activated is DOTBOT

          Vodafone is continuously charging wrong bill charges for services not availed. After raising a complaint to customer care, he agreed for reversal of charges in next month bill cycle, but no action is taken.

            I am a vodafone customer for last 12 years last year i bought another number with the same ID for my wife, Later understood that they are charging for unwanted items and decided to close the account.

            Tele Called the person and asked to close.. Later i got a call from person talking too much for retaining talking so roughly.. i told him to close the account and payed the amount.

            I though the second account is closed and was doing my work later after 2 months again a person called and said you have an outstanding amount of thousand and if it is not paid he will block my 1st number that i have for 12 years.

            I was so embaressed why these culprits are doing like this, Is it my fault that they are not closing the number that i was not using for so 4 months.

            I QUIT FROM VODAFONE THEY CHEAT!!!

              As informed by Vodafone Sales personnel, prepaid Data card for three months charges were Rs. 2700/- all inclusive &accordingly I had paid the entire amount in advance. Now they are demanding Rs. 400/- odd amount towards service tax. If the service was prepaid then service tax should be including whereas I have not even received any formal invoice towards it. They have send the legal notice towards 437/- oustanding towards service tax

                Hi,
                I have post paid connection with vodafone since 2-3 years ; however, my bill was always inflated. I went to the vodafone gallery 4 month back and requested to change post paid to pre paid but at the gallery they retained me with unlimited plan of 399/- that includes unlimited calls local and std, 1 gb 3g internet and 100 sms.
                For first 3 month, i got little inflated bill that was corrected on calling customer care but now since last 2 month my inflated bill is not corrected by customer care team. And they are asking to pay bill of rs 2000 /- and saying there are download charges from third party and some other value added services. I never download anything and my question is how vodafone giving rights to third parties to inflate my bill. Also i don't use any other value added service nor i requested for any such services.
                I m ready to pay my bill as per 399/- plan through which i was retained by gallery manager.

                  Hello, I m using Vodafone 4 g net and its speed is too slow I have complaint about my net's speed but no. Action was taken to my complaint and I m vry annoyed with that please resolve my problem otherwise take a portability of another no. I can't open anything u have given 4 gb net for ten days trail and I have the response that I m vry annoyed with using Vodafone and I m realising that my decision to take Vodafone is wrong please resolve my problem otherwise I'll complaint about my slow speed and no action on my complaint after talking to customer executive support to the (TRAI) and I want my problem to be resolved in just 12 hours.

The [protected]@ service it activated on this no without any request from my side to activate it and balance is detected. I am still wondering, how the can activate the service with out the permission of customer. I want my money back.

                      It is indeed a shameful act by the vodafone india company to deduct money from my balance on the name of new value added services without my approval for the same. They deducted money every now and then and it has become a matter of concern as iam losing money and also facing lot of difficulties in stopping these miscreants from doing such acts

                        Vodafone has charged Rs 1260 saying I called 51717 (vodafone astrology ) for 90 minutes. I have not made any such call but vodafone is not ready to listen anything. Please help me getting out of this injustice and fraud.
                        I have checked that many users have been facing same issue.

                          A VAS [protected]@it has recently been activated without my knowledge around 3:54 am(May 29th'17) deducting a amount of 3/- from my prepaid account. I don't have any information what it is nor I have clicked any ad or activated purposefully. I have requested for its deactivation and I want my refund.
                          I recently ported to Vodafone knowing its reputation and services only. Please make sure that doesn't happen again in the future and I am not interested in spending time writing complaints about refunds and other stuffs.

                            Hi,
                            While browsing the internet, a sudden. Popup came for activation of look at service. As I didn't activated any service in Vodafone.
                            And the message show that it will charge 45 rs for 15 days.
                            Kindly help me with that and do not charge any amount in my bill.
                            Look into the matter ASAP.

                              I'd like to use this platform to make a complaint about an alleged rip-off by Vodafone on my account - phone number +91-[protected].

                              To begin with, I have been a customer with vodafone for many years. My first number was +91-[protected] (those days they were called Hutch),[protected]. When I left Chennai, I took an airtel connection[protected]. After coming back to Chennai, for the past 7 years, I have been using both airel and vodafone (+91-[protected]).

                              I found that of the two services, using the same mobile phone - the Airtel services were more dependable, however for old times sake, I continued using the Vodafone number. I felt the sound clarity / connection / internet speed / customer care - all were superior at Airtel. Recently, a good friend of mine told me that Vodafone has upgraded their services, and their internet has become dependable. After serious thought, I took a 6GB data plan on 29-Apr-2017 (valid till 26-May-2017).

                              The data plan that I took was hopeless from the start. The reason why I took the 6GB plan was because I was going on a road trip, and needed the internet for the GPS-app. But I had to travel blind (GPS-wise), because vodafone did not connect. I lost my way twice. Thankfully Airtel came to the rescue (else I don't know when I'd have reached). 2 years ago, another road-trip with Airtel GPS worked fine.

                              I'm not angry with that, because ultimately I reached. However the bigger trouble happened when my pack was about to expire. I was notified that if I do not extend the validity before the date that it expires, I will lose the balace. During that time, I had between 2GB - 3GB remaining (Note: If vodafone connected fine for the GPS, I would not have 2 - 3 GB remaining). Since I had internet balance and validity about to expire, I naturally went for a plan with higher validity and lesser GB.

                              On 27-May-2017 onwards, I was shocked to know that I lost the entire 2 - 3 GB, and was left with only the very very meagre 100 MB plan (the new one).

                              I thought it was a mistake by vodafone, so I called them to inform about the mistake. The call could not be resolved so I had to ask for a manager / supervisor. The manager told me that the old balance will not be "added to" (forgot the exact word he used) the new plan, and once the validity expires, I'll be losing all the 2 - 3 GB. What infuriated me further was that this fellow was condescending and said that "We did not tell you that if you recharge with this plan your data balance will be carried over". I said I understood that, but the main thing here is that vodafone did not even tell me (clearly) which plan to use to carry forward my balance. As an airtel customer, I never had this problem (Agreed I have other problems, but they were handled better).

                              To cut a long story short, I was informed that I have 2 - 3 GB, and to rub salt on the wounds, I "chose" a pack that allowed the remaining GB to go to the water.

                              The manager also told me that I can send this email and "try to reclaim the funds - it may work".

                              You know what, vodafone fellows, you can keep the 2 - 3 GB you ripped off from me. Just to let you know, when I get time I'll be changing my service (mobile number portability) - to either idea or jio. Also I'll be placing the text of this complaint in all the online forums so all my friends circle (and others) will know about the rip-off. If they are also with vodafone, someday they may go through this ordeal, so let this be a warning not to call customer care (by the way, it is not a free call to talk with vodafone customer care, so you blood-sucking fellas first suck blood when you steal the money, then blood-suck some more when we call customer care).

                              Several companies have done the same thing you've done - by cheating their customers. Some of the cheating is intentional, some of it is inadvertent, and some of it is caused by things outside the control of the company. The companies that really last long (like airtel), are the ones who realized that they exist only because of their customers - and work to resolve the errors.

                              I've already started testing idea, after which I'll test jio too, and move to the best service.

                              In a few days I'll be telling "Goodbye, vodafone" - forever.

                                On my number there are services get activated automatically and money get deducted so much time every time i have to call to customer service for deactivate that service and get my money back, they said with help of ads popup and with the help of your confirmation for activate that serice its get activated.. But on ads i never get any varification like for activate that service click yes or no, and am i fool?? Like i activate that service and i call to customer service for refund?? I dont have that kind of time to call you. I want solution for this problem any how.

                                  I had logged a deactivation request of Vodafone data card - [protected].
                                  Deactivation Request # is[protected] and was logged on 13th/14th May.
                                  I was told that it would deactivated within a week, though i fail to understand why it should take a week to disconnect.

                                  On 21st May i called up to inquire on deactivation request i was told it would done on 22nd May.

                                  Today its 28th May and the connection is still active. Am already pissed off with their services and this is just so frustating.

                                  What's the recourse. How can i avoid paying the charges after i've raised the deactivation request ?

                                    I recharged my vodafone prepaid no [protected] with Rs 1002 on 28 May 2017 but talktime balance shown in my A/c is 0.
                                    This has converted into a data recharge.
                                    Now I am unable to use this amount as my connection is not a 3g connection nor my phone has gprs facility and neither do I use the data services.

                                    Kindly refund the recharge amount or convert it to talktime balance.

                                    I haven't asked for any internet service.
