My monthly bill is always INR 500 and I always pay in full on time. This past month I received a charge of INR 1, 124. When I called Customer Service on September 23, I was informed that I was charged an International Roaming Pack of INR 599. Considering I have not left the country for the past 1.5 years, you can understand my shock and anger.

The Customer Rep assured me that this issue will be resolved and I believed him. He then informed me I should only pay INR 586 which covers my usual monthly charges.

Two days ago I started getting bombarded by Vodafone via SMS that I still owed INR 599 and, everytime I made a phone call, I was reminded in a lengthy message that I still owed this money. I called Customer Service today, and was informed that I was being charged for an International Roaming Package to Nepal. When I asked why the charge, they had no explanation for me. I was then informed that a Customer Service Representative had tried to call me to inform me of having to charge me, and when he/she didn't hear from me, as I don't pick up random phone calls from numbers I don't recognize, they went ahead and charged me.

My complaint is: A. How can they randomly charge me for something erroneously, listen to my explanation, and continue to insist that I pay; and B. If they can't verbally speak to a customer to inform them of charges, to send an SMS or email, they are so good at bombarding us with marketing messages they can easily contact us to give us a chance to refute charges, and ask if we want to avail of a new added on service.

    Hello Vodafone, I have a problem with my SIM, when I charge, I almost deduct money from my SIM, but I do not know why I do not activate any value added service. Please take this matter seriously.

      Hi Team,
      I have been using my [protected] no. since more than 10 years.
      Today I recharged Rs.39 . But it do not reflect while checking balance.It shows incoming validity expired..Even when someone calling me it says the number does not have incoming service. I tried to call customer care and it says says your account is barred bcoz u have no service...

      Can you please help me on this ...Quick response will be much appreciated...

        I have requested for disconnecteion of [protected], and paid update dues on the spot 0n 07 may 2021. it can be checked. but still receiving harassing calls from your staff. a written complaint was also launched on 22/08/2021, but no action taken. am suffering with mental agony and financial losses due to my time getting wasted. pls take action. rgds, gurmeet singh taneja.

          I have recharged Rs . 48 on 27 th September . But still it showing 'incoming validity expired ' . Everytime it's happening with me . I am not getting any income call which hampers a lot in my official work . Worst sevice .
          Plz kindly solve this .

            Even after informing multiple time as i dont understand HINDI, I always receive SMS and other info in Hindi language. I have set my language as marathi but still they dont use it.

                I have already ongoing plan of 1197
                Then I again recharged my phone number with 601 regacharge

                But 2nd should be activated after previous plan end.but second 601 plan activated automatically because of that my pack validity decreased

                Customer care service also very bad

                  2 day ago i will call vodaphone customer care and i am say my number is no network and i am not call anyone then she say you can recharge your sim and all services are used So i will recharge my sim and then same problem after recharge i will call customer care no she say will go to vi store and start your sim and i will go to vi store but my problem can't solve .

                    I am getting multiple messages from VZ-ViCMS and almost 45 rs are deducted within a span of 10 days for some rubbish games of which i do not have any idea and do not have any interest to play either. This is poor stuff from Vodafone. One of sample message is like below,

                    Hello!
                    Thank you for choosing to access Contakt Gaming Service,
                    You have been charged Rs. 25
                    Your balance is Rs. 16.33

                    How can anyone deduct money for any foolish games without anyone's approval. Dear Vodafone india please fix this as soon as possible and refund the deducted amount to my main balance with immediate effect. Also please never ever repeat this in future to deduct money without anyone's approval.

                        Unethical without permission, without acknowledgement deducting rs10 in lieu of telesync games on 16th & 27th september 2021.Hilarious thing is its a feature phone in which the aforementioned sim is, just kept that phone for incoming.Vodafone idea customer care says its one time debit and asking customer " you tell how can we deactivate them".Hope your company has an response work ethos..

                          Vi is deducting money sometimes ₹10 and sometime ₹15 in name of some Value Added service named Telsync Games/ Bcafe Portal, which we never ever activated neither used either. This is un ethical business practise. Customer care is not rechable tried multiple times from multiple days.

                            Need to port my prepaid Vi to some other service providers ( Poor service and unauthorised deduction)but, while sending SMS to 1900, msg won't go ( failed to send msg)...I've emailed to Customer care Vi but, they are yet to resolved ...they now started to call me asking so many questions in which I'm unwilling to answer...just need to port my number...they hav to unblock my SMS path to 1900 immediately..

                                  Vodafone started unethical and illegal deductions (as I understand)

                                  1) Vodafone added a service to my SIM, WITHOUT MY APPROVAL/CONSENT, and started deducting money from my talktime balance, and continuing even after I lodged complaint.

                                  2) When I complained to Vodafone customer care, they DID NOT GIVE me any unique DOCKET number.

                                  3) Status of my complaint is NOT accessible in MyProfile in Vodafone portal.

                                  Additionally:
                                  4) The latest deductions are not listed in MyProfile in Vodafone portal.

                                    They did not mention in a recharge pack of 98 rupees that it will not allow to send the messages instead of data. while in other pack you are mentioning the things. Now i want to port my number to other service provider but they are saying i have to do another recharge but i have main balance in my vi account. this is so ridiculous. i am attaching the screen shots of the app where it is not written that messages will not be sent.
