    Vodafone India — Illegal charges of VDO mania

    My mom got a messsge from Vodafone that Rs. 35 is deducted from her account for VDO Mania service which she never subscribed.

    This is unacceptable, deducting balance and subscribing users to services without their consent is un-ethical.

    Vodafone should be penalised heavily and the benefits should be transferred to users who suffered.

      This is to inform you that today I have received a bill through Sms for Rs 514.40 for my Mob No - [protected]. (billing cycle from 6th Feb'17 to 5th March'17)

      I had a plan of Rs 199 for voice calls + Rs 249 for Net Data. On 10th of Feb'17 I informed Vodafone to change my plan and cancel my Net Data plan with immediate effect. (which they did)

      Today on inquiring from your office I was told that you have charged me for Net Data for the full month.

      As a rule it has to be on pro rata basis only.i.e. I should be charged for the no. of days I have used the Net Data (5 days)
      (for this reason I deactivated it on 10th Feb'17, otherwise I could have done it on 5th Feb'17 itself)

      If it was not so, then why was I not informed? Your customer has the right to know the rule which you want to apply.

          I just switched to Vodafone and it sucks. They have deducted 200 from my account and there only explanation is that you shouldn't press topups don't use whatsapp you might have gone tow weird sites. Suckers!. It's my phone I will visit any site I want. They don't even double check. They just deduct the amount which is not refundable

          I am switching from Vodafone. Vodafone customer care is not helpful either

          I just got my number ported to Vodafone Rajasthan and since then some services gets activated automatically and deducts my balance. When I call Vodafone Customer care they tell me it's nonrefundable.

          Just now I talked to 3 of your executives and all of them were like you must have activated them. He told me mam do you use WhatsApp then it must be because of that and I was like I don't even have WhatsApp and then he was like it must be because of your youtube browsing.

          I was like what the hell are you talking about? I am going to surf the net right that doesn't mean you are going to unnecessarily direct me to your VAS services.

          Kindly look into the problem. I am completely fed up of your advertisement and flash messages.

          I have been a Vodafone customer since a long time and I don't want to change but I will not be left with an option if this continues.

          Hoping for an early response.

          I have attached a photo of the flash message I keep getting and surprisingly there is nothing even mentioned about VAS service which you deceivingly activate in my number.

              I have taken 2 Vodafone Postpaid numbers last year and one([protected]) of which I never used(not even inserted in a mobile) and got the bill for 3 to 4 months for the same. Then I decided to pay the bill and deactivate the SIM and I went to the service center. After paying the bill I asked the representative to deactivate the SIM but he requested me to convert it into Prepaid. I have taken the new SIM for prepaid after about six months still I am getting mails to pay the bill. And today I got a mail to pay Rs. 915 immediately. Otherwise the mail is mentioned that they will file a legal compliant against me. This is very bad, as I already paid money for which I did not use and after requesting to deactivate they did not deactivate.

              I request you to kindly help me with this. I can pay the Rs. 915 but I don't want them to do this to anyone else again.

                Firstly they asked me to pay 200rs as a tax . they told me that your number is in first place so you are getting 2 lakhs 51 thousand rupees. they taken mine account no. and told that it will come from america. if your luck is good than you will get rupees in dollar which means 18 lakhs rupees . aftersome time the rs. came in dollar so they asked to pay 2700 rs more .
                now we dont want to pay 2700 rs so theyu taken oyr 200 rs also .which are valueable to us as we are not so rich.

                  it is irritating as i cant access my whats app because it is registered by that no.
                  without informing me or my consent the no. has been suspended . I have contacts who arent able to reach me beacuse of the no. being suspended causing me lot of inconvenience.

                    My Vodafone Number is [protected]
                    I have a Post Paid Plan Rental of Rs 899/- towards data usage.

                    For the Rental Period from 03.02.2017 till 02.03.2017, vodafone had unethically charged me a total Sum of Rs 10, 847.53 of which they had charged a sum of Rs 8364.21 for the DATA USAGE.

                    Of my opinion, this is an outlandish charge as I had never utilized this much Data during the rental period.

                    When I went to Customer Care, they provide me with illogical justification saying my Internet Pack was hacked because of which the Huge Bill was generated.

                    It is my humble request to you to please help me out in this situation.

                      I'm using Vodafone SIM from many years. written several email and calls to vodafone through my no. [protected].
                      Here the Vodafone network recently has become too bad. I have to always stick around the window for connectivity. It is too bad. I cannot continue my household chores if there is long running conference calls. Even if I bit move away from the window the voice start breaking. At house itself the network connectivity is NIL.
                      They told me there is some network issue so we are escalating your request and they give me date from last one year.

                      Vodafone walo ne phir wahi kaam kiya jo ek saal se kar rahe hai ek new date di hai april ki.

                      Agar aap log bhi isko nahi thik karwa sakte to bekaar hai aap logo ke pass bhi apna time kharab karwana.

                        Main vodafone no [protected] lag bhag 4 saal se use kar raha hun lakin ek saal se network ko le ke bahut problem hai may 2016 main jab maine vodafone walo se baat ki to unhone 20 October ki date di maine phir call kiya to unhone 20 November or phir 20 December, 20 January, 20 February or ab 20 march ki date di hai. Network ki wajah se jyada time mera no not reachable rahta hai ya phir phone connect nahi ho pata .
                        Please help.

                          I am completely disguise with very poor service and customer service experience is very poor and pathetic. I have been trying to get sought out a problem of internet access on my Samsung mobile (Model Grand 2, SM-G7102). I was in touch with your customer care team since past couple of days but no permanent solution received from your end whereas every time I called up and your representatives told me that 'Sir sorry for the inconvenience and we apologies for the same, will resolve the issue for you' these lines are really useless as I am a unhappy customer for a very big brand name Vodafone. I would request you to kindly look into the matter asap and resolve my problem. In case if you want further information from me to resolve the matter, please call me on my number [protected].

                            Vodafone has charged me exorbitantly despite my credit limit was 3000. They claim that I have consumed only 40 mb data in international roaming and they have charged me for same. My question is how come you charge me beyond my credit limit? Practically the data never worked for me internationally. Vodafone dynamically at there convinence changed the credit limit and charged me over and above.

                            When company like Vodafone start taking consumer for granted they should be penalised heavily by law. Airtel and jio giving such compitative roaming convince to consumer whereas Vodafone is know to cheat the consumer.

                                  I have a taken a international roaming pack of 5137 change, on Feb 17th 2017 whose validity was for 9days but it did not get activated at all but money got deducted and customer care told before that they will return the money in terms of Data recharge but now they are not responding properly. Now they are saying that validity plan is over and they can''t return the money also.

                                    This is regarding vodafone number [protected] which i had taken one year back and asked the vodafone agent to deactivate this SIM within the purchase of 8 days. I paid the bill amount also during that period. But still its almost 1 year and that number still not deactivated by them. Vodafone keep sending monthly bills which i have not used at all and i am not suppose to pay.

                                    I called customer care and they said pay 50% amount and your number will be deactivated. But after paying 50% amount still monthly bills are coming and they are saying same thing again and again. This time they sent demand notice to me for the number which i have not used and kept telling customer care to deactivate this number. Now I am not going to pay bill of Rs. 798.

                                    Vodafone is making people fool and earning money from them without any reason. They are making misuse of my documents which i have submitted when i have taken SIM and may be someone else is using that number now and these people purposefully not deactivating this number and keep sending me bills.
                                    Please look into this matter.

                                      My sim was activated on 22nd Feb 2017. My mobile number is [protected]. The physical verification for address has not taken place for the past 2 weeks and now my sim has been deactivated. On further enquiring about the issue, I got to know that the perosn was restricted entry to my residence, which is not possible. Further there was no communication from the person who is coming to verify the address. I'm just getting the smae message that "We were unable to meet you as the entry was restricted at your billing address". The vodafone store guys told me that they would again send another person for verification. But even after many such requests no one visits my residence. The customer support is unsatisfactory as well. Please provide me a solution
