Dear customer care team,
Greetings of the day,
This is to share with you my issues and grievances that are disturbing me since a long time now.
We had a vodafone connection since last year and despite of not using it in the month of dec '15 & jan '16 we were sent hefty bills even when we has requested for stop service over the phone to the vodafone customer care.
I can give you details on this one, when we raised our concerns, they did not care and asked us to pay the entire due amount if inr 1, 700/- some change and eventually given and option of a waiver and closure of this connection and taking a fresh with added benefits.
Finally, we were asked to inr 1, 100/- + 250 of our security towards final settlement hence we were obliged by giving a waiver of inr 350/- change only which is certainly brought a negative feeling. Then, we were offered a 5gb a month package with a luring offer of getting lesser rentals for 5 successive months i. E.Instead of 850/- + taxes we need to pay only 650/- + taxes per month and we ended up by accepting it. It was another mistake of ours.
We spoke all this on 1st march 2016 and we should have been suggested to take the new connection from 4th onwards because billing cycle details should be discussed or at least reminded if they expect us to know being an old customer. Negative again...
Now the actual trouble started which increased with each month and makes me restless until today to a great extent. No one likes confusing billings, incorrect and false charges and uncaring staff to handle the issue.
First bill came for duration of 3 days from 1st to 3rd march which could have been avoided by taking a connection from 4th. The amount was inr 100.68 which was paid immediately then according the plan we agreed onto the bill for march cycle should have been inr 650/- + taxes i. E. 744.25/- taking taxes as 14.5% but it came for 937.31 when i asked about the reason they tried to pacify ne saying there was some problem in registering you new connection but i will be charged 650/- + from april till 5 months as previously agreed so on their suggestion i paid 900/-.
Here, i cannot digest that i took a connection on 1st march, vodafone charged me for 3 days separately then why i had to pay a rental of 850/- + rate for 26 days and 650/- + rate for 5 days. Why are there 3 bills at the end of 1 month itself.
Moving on, in april i was charged inr 105/- + for a service i did not use, i did not activate and i did not know about but it was included in my bill. I reported it on the same day but it did not get resolved till the approaching last date of bill depositing, i ended up depositing a lump sum amount to be at easy but because if the weekend instead of 22nd it was done on 24th so because vodafone delays resolution i am again charged inr 25/- + as fine. Why?
Issue continues, i can see in the vodafone app that another charges of same 105/-+ are getting wrongly charged in may also same as april, i reported immediately to the same person i'm contacting ever since starting buy again zero resolution. Neither any waiver was done for april nor they stopped it to appear again in may bill along with the late fees.
I being annoyed started to remind that gentlemen daily but got a waiver of mere 100 rupees and i had to talk to them seriously about it now. Another executive pitches in talks inappropriately as if he doing me a favour by waiving off the extra charges, he also spoke that he will pay some amount on my behalf which if offending and hurting beyond words. He also spoke that i must have clicked oonsone site which charge through the phone bill and must have not realised. I can't believe someone can say that to a customer when that guy is not more than a year experience. I work in hospitality industry and i don't deal with my guests like that.
Then, he asked me to pay 50 rupees extra than the amount i calculated and said in an arrogant tone that he will adjust the rest. We spoke this on 15th june and preferred being patient again to offer then more time otherwise i was angry enough to write to you the same day.
Issues:
1. Extra rental amount charged in march.
2. Wrong charges added in apr & may.
3. Late fee added when the delay is from the executives handling my issue and did not resolve it at all forget on time.
4. Send me exact bill from next time onwards,. I've list my patience seeing incorrect bills.
Grievances:
1. Train your staff on resolution skills, problems do occur buy when reported should be timely resolved.
2. Train your staff on etiquette, voice modulation and choice of words while talking to a customer.
3. Create an escalation process so that if one person can't handle it, the issue reaches to someone who can.
I request you look into this and act sooner, i hate being late on my payments.
