I stared using VI postpaid in Feb 2021 because the Vodafone store manager went adamant to update my number to 4G postpaid, after 2 months when i tried to recharge my number 250/- Rs, it straight went to someone else's number when asked that manager replied that he added my number to a postpaid family pack, that amount never returned, then 456/- Rs he took from me to recharge my number which never happened after 1 week when i asked him about this he picked my call after almost 11 missed calls,
he said that i have extra 256/- Rs bill for caller-tune, which i never requested for. moreover even after that i was unable to use internet services saying that i had some bills pending. and now they have audacity to send me a bill of 477/- Rs when i couldn't even place a call in last 1 month.

i have no intention of paying anymore cause you guys wont let me use any services anyway, and i am scrapping your SIM
i am never going to opt for any VI products you are as incompetent as much as that VI store manager of yours was.

    I have been using VI prepaid for quite some time. Since my usage is low I have been recharging with lower denomination amounts every month be it 49 or 94 Rs or so.

    Now I find that for such lower denomination amounts VI has stopped offering very basic services like Outgoing SMS?

    This is clearly cheating and looting on part of VI.
    Tomorrow they will say, no outgoing calls for smaller amounts!!

    These mobile companies have become greedy and looting the consumers.

    I am deeply disappointed by this policy. Going forward Whatsapp and telegram are the ways to go.

    Instead of improving and providing more competitive services they are restricting their services and increasing cost for consumers.
    I am sure their Karma will take care.

      Every time I recharge, I get a message after a day or two that almost all of my balance is deducted for the different different services that I have never heard of or not opted for.
      today I received this message:
      Hello!
      Thank you for choosing to access Handset Inbuilt Games, You have been charged Rs.25 Your balance is Rs.47.

      Stop scamming incent people.

        I had categorically specified no VAS services to be activated on my phone then why Content Download VAS is active ? there is a game 50HHgame is also downloaded by kids using this service . can you deactivate it immediately? Account number[protected] and phone number ending with 9XXXXXXX55

            Haven't activated any games portal in my phone.. I had been charged 20 for it and now the balance is rs.4. Your customer care is the worst service i have come across.. Im never able to contact your executive for any of my complaints.. If this goes on, i'll need to port my sim.. Deactivate the games portal as soon as possible.

              Hello sir I live in chharwada Road, vapi, rajmoti complex were Vodafone internet speed and signal is so slow that for sending even a WhatsApp message we need To stand in balcony.moreover if we need to make call we can't even talk on phone bcoz of weak signals.from our home we can't even use INTERNET

                Respected sir, I live in vapi Gujarat. we in our locality are not able to access internet as vodaphone internet speed is so less that if we sit in our living room we are unable to use internet and also to able to receive any call we need to keep phone near window . If we want to make any call we need to stand in balcony to make a call.
                Sir I request to solve our problem asap.

                  I was charge negative balance of 98 in my prepaid sim. And I'm recharging it continuosly for past five years. This is absurb and annoying. I couldnt even send SMS from this sim after having recharged an unlimited pack which offers 100 free local sms per day. My mobile number is '[protected]'

                    I am facing very slow internet connection, and for the same i have lodge the complaint. Someone from vodafone called and told me that he will visit, but every time i have noticed that at time of visit of vodafone executive, my interest will work at very good speed and this will continue for two or three day, after that issue will remain open.
                    I dont understand, what is happening with vodafone, i am using Vodafone service from last 15 years, but from last 1 year network is gone worsed.

                      Dear Sir,
                      iam not satisfy with your Internet Network
                      Coverage n Data Packs...Hence, i thought to move to Airtel...then i have started
                      to send SMS to 1900 for Porting...
                      but, iam not able to send only for 1900... "message Could not sent" is showing...tried 10 time...
                      by speking to Custmer care for solution...they keep giving non sense / irrilavent solutions: -

                      1.i have recharged my mobile, as for as company rules so outgoing SMS barred...but monthly iam recharging
                      my mobile not less than 129Rs.
                      2. i suppose to change message centre no.- did the same but no result...
                      3. i have to change the handset - tried but no result...

                        My dad is charged 819 + GST for calling on special number 53516 which they haven't done.

                        Call details:
                        Date:10th June 2021
                        1) 12:51 PM 30min 10
                        2) 01:21 PM 30min 10
                        3) 01:51 PM 30min 10

                        As we can see in the duration of the calls, all the timings are same, how someone can disconnect all the calls on the same time?

                        I've raised the dispute with Vodafone idea CARE but they are just saying that the calls were made so we can not do anything with it.

                        This seems a fraud or an error to me, could you please help us to get the clarification and refund the extra amount waived in the billing?

                        (Note: there are lot of complaints are already logged by other users of Vodafone for the same issue, and the duration of call were also the same)

                          VI (Vodafone-Idea) have now came up with the new fraud. They will randomly deduct the money from your account with some some VAS (Value Added Services) Charges.

                          Today I was deducted Rs 49 from my VI(Vodafone-Idea) account. I did not click on any link nor I downloaded any app. Not this entry was reflected in the “transaction histroy” on the VI app. The only give away was the sms with the below text

                          “Hello!

                          Thank you for using mydala powered deal, you have been charged Rs 49. Your balance is Rs:143.45″

                                I am Adv Ashwini Sharad Shewale from Pune, Maharashtra, India and using Vodafone idea network since last 19 yrs since my brother left this number after he left abroad
                                I have been using this number since then as a postpaid customer and now since Feb 17th 2021 I am in Oman Muscat where I have noticed heavy billed amount by Vodafone idea since last four months without any reason neither i have activated any roaming services nor i have used to pick up mobile of any caller i have already lodged a complaint after paying three heavy bills o[censored]nreasonably charged to me which even in itemized billing you can check. When a platinum service user is paying bill constantly and VI the service provider is taking undue advantage of it and sending recovery agents to my house in India and plus harassing me deactivating services on the number which i am just using on what's app for OTP and no other reason i feel its shameful act by Vi

                                i am reputed person and its not matter of money but taking advantage of my genuinely paying last four heavy bills without asking any itemized bill i feel Vi is fooling me since past four months plus now harassing me in covid-19 where i can neither interact with your customer service on toll free numbers as its charged here.

                                Vi needs to understand being a loyal customer and genuinely paying the last four bills for no reason while still harassing a pregnant woman and giving stress is not acceptable at all.

                                I request TRAI to take strict action against your company for harassing me menatlly and financially making me pay fraud bills which even any person would not pay when seen company is sending fraud charges

                                Everything is mentioned itemized bill and my app complaint COMPLAINT NUMBER :[protected] Dated 30-june-2021 at 06:00 pm Oman Time and my previous complaints in India also for network issues which i have faced during Vodafone idea merger.

                                I hope to expect a proper reply with a statement in consumer court for the same which has been charged to me.

                                      I called customer care because I wanted to eSim on my Apple Watch. I called 199 they misguided me and gave another number to call. I called that number and lady who picked up (Srishti I think) asked me to call another number. Having gone through IVR twice and daunting experience to call another one made me upset. Instead of helping me she started to yell at me.

                                      Thanks for this. I was confused earlier whether I should stick to Vodafone or switch to Airtel. You have cleared my mind and I am moving to Airtel now.

                                      Launching a complaint only to hope you would become better.

                                      Never thought I will stop using VI because of customer support being so bad.

                                      Just now realised how important customer experience is. I hope one day VI will realise it too before it’s too late.

                                        Its been more than a year i am requesting a SIM replacement. I am in New Zealand now. I have Delhi SIM [protected] which is lost. Due to pandemic I could not return India and this number is linked with my AAdhaar card and internet banking. My parents live in Haryana and Vodafone is regularly insisting me to send one of them to Delhi to collect the SIM.I have access to my registered email and alternate number. I don't understand why they are forcing me to send my old age parents whereas I am happy to verify my details over video call. I have sent all the necessary documents to Vodafone with an authorization letter so that my cousin can collect the SIM on behalf. I am a Vodafone customer in New Zealand which is also not helpful in this.
                                        Moreover Vodafone wants somebody who has the same address in his ID which is not possible and i used to live alone in Delhi.
                                        Can anybody help me in this?
