Details- I am using prepaid vodafone SIM card.
On 23/12/2015 I recd. one SMS from VM-611123 "1GB pe 1GB free! Recharge karein Rs 297 se aur paayein 2GB 3G data poore 28 din ke liye. Recharge kare ya dial kare*121*297#. Offer sirf aaj ke liye! ".
So I recharged the same day with Rs.297.0 after which I got SMS saying "Your internet pack is active now valid upto 19.01.2016 23:59:59, Bal: 1024.00MB. To check balance, dial*111#. "
However I didn't get the free benefit of other 1GB as per SMS recd. I waited till next day morning (24/12/2015) but no SMS recd. for free benefit. So I complained on number "198" & provided all required details as asked by CSE (customer service executive) & afterwhich I recd. SMS showing
" Hello. Your service registration number [protected] is registered on 24-Dec-15 10.01a.m. We shall respond to your query by saturday 26-Dec-15 10.00a.m."
I again waited till 26/12/15 but no one from Vodafone reverted (no calls no SMS). I wrote a complaint mail to "vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com" in morning (11.52a.m.) seeking a solution. Afterwhich I received a call from (+[protected] at 1.37p.m.). That lady again asked me all details which I gave & she said someone will revert. After waiting till evening I received a SMS saying
"Hello.In response to your complaint no [protected] we were unable to reach you on your mobile to give an update. Please call 199 for an update" (time- 5.18p.m.)
Surpirsed with the content of SMS ( as I have not received any call from Vodafone), I again called on 198 & the CSE told me that I have not answered their call. On arguing he told me to send snapshot of the SMS which I have recd & CSE will revert in 24 hours.
I did the same at his provided address by email (time- 6.07p.m.) & waited.
Till today 29/12/2015 morning I didn't get any SMS or call from Vodafone.
Again I sent an email (10.01a.m.) but no one reverted.
Frustated I again called 198 & to my surprise that lady repeated the same old story that their system is showing no details of free net benefit. On arguing she told me to send the mail with screenshot again to their email.
On me asking whether they have not received my earlier mail (dated 26/12/15) she didn't replied anything.
Then she told me to go to any vodafone gallery to resolve this issue.
On refusing she didn't replied anything.
So I told her that I only have the option to go to consumer forum & on that also she didn't replied anything.
To summarize all this it gives a picture of false commitment by service provider Vodafone, negligence in reverting by mails, phonecalls & writing wrong statements in their system.
I am frustrated with all this, always customer has to chase them. They are very quick in cutting money from account for any service, but when it comes to giving service they are simply not bothered.
I hope to get help from the concerned ASAP.
