Dear team,

I would like to say my bad experience in vodafone service,
I am working in hindustan unilever limited, i am third party employee, i like to take one cug vodafone connection in my office, i enquired the same i got mr. Selva number from one of my colleque, i called on 10th aug afternoon to selva regarding get one cug new postpaid connection, he says i come and collect the document on that day eveg before 6pm, i expecting the same for that day he won’t come, he says i can’t able to come today evening, tomorrow 11th aug, i want to go ponneri i can’t able to come to your office, if you possible please send the scan copy of your documents, which is dl, pan card, and office id in the morning, i delivered the sim card in your home (Ambathur), and i conform number through mobile while the sim got activated that day night itself, i scan my documents and sent to his mail id (Attached for your reference), i again called in afternoon for conforming the sim deliver to my house, he said mail received, i come to your office and give the sim card, instead of that he come and give the sim card that day eveg 11th aug, sim no:[protected] he said number i conforming through phone around 8pm activation done on today itself conformation sms it go to your another alternate contact number, he called around 8 pm and give new number of vodofone which is [protected], he said this number got activated within one hour, but my number not activated that day, after one hour i called to selva and ask “why my number has not activated still” he said your caf has got rejected due to back side emp id missing, if you send now i will activated otherwise tomarrow 12th aug we have a camp in your office (Hul) my team leader saravanan is there please hand over your back side of id card i will activated tomorrow night only, i take a back side scan copy of my emp id and meet mr, saravnana and give it and told that conversation, he said this back side copy not acceptable because your are third party employee you need a connection please get the request in hul letter pad, i accept the same and get the letter pad request form my admin and give it to saravanan and selva i ask again to him, when is my number got activated, he said conform today night around 8pm your number got activated, i wait for still 8pm my number not activated, i called again selva i ask “why my number not activated still” he said your letter got rejected, some mistakes is there hence your request letter got rejected, i ask what is the way for my number activation, he said if you don’t want the cug i will activated tomarrow night, i accept ok i don’t the cug connected just i want one postpaid connection he said ok tomorrow that is (13th aug) around before 8pm your number got activated……….

Today 16th aug still my number not activated…..

Dear team, please help me what is the correct process for get one new connection and when it will activated….

    This dirty technique of automatically subscribing users to various packs that nobody in their clear conscious would get if the customer visits websites that they feel reluctant in disclosing to the public, especially porn sites, is not something new.
    As it is very cheap and is highly unethical and unprofessional, since nobody complaints, it will never come to light.
    I got a message today stating "as per my request", i'm subscribed to a "super model pack" and rs. 90 was deducted for it, which i didn't asked for.
    If called, the vodafone customer care rejects all your requests for a refund and "advices" to stay away from such sites.
    What a disgusting scheme is this for the company you are, vodafone?
    Why don't you guys just get on the street and start looting every pedestrian which is kind of the same deal with this dirty subscription scheme. Or should i use the word scam?
    I hope this complaint reaches the right desk.

      I am a vodafone customer for the last 6 plus years. Even though i faced multiple issues during this tenure vodafone was good enough to address those in a fair manner, which had kept me a vodafone customer till what happened yesterday (14-aug-2016).

      I was traveling to europe for two weeks. From my previous experiences in vodafone i thought it would be better to take an international roaming package as it would be cheaper and better. I needed the phone coverage at all times as my parents are aged and would contact me over phone only as they are not much used to internet and whatsapp. So i had called up the vodafone customer service two days before my trip (04-aug). As per the conversation i decided to activate a rs.3500 roaming package. For this i was told that it would cover the entire europe and would be valid for 10 days. Also i would get unlimited incoming calls free and 1 gb data also free. (Have the call recorded on my phone) i had asked to activate it from aug 06 and it was active as per the conversation by 06 aug when i reached europe. Even though i had 1 gb data free, i took at most care and turned on the data only when it was highly required. I am sure i did not use more than 300 mbs of data as at most places wifi was available.in-between i had called the customer service if the roaming package is properly activated and they had confirmed same.
      However yesterday (14-aug-2016) morning i woke up to find that my phone had no coverage. I thought as a temporary problem and waited for some time to get it fixed. Since it was not fixed after some time, i tried logging into my vodafone account so that i can contact customer service.in the vodafone account i was stunned by the below value
      Unbilled amount : rs.25584/- (Totally unexpected. I cannot understand why i have this big amount as i had package active. I doubt whether i had taken the package to increase the roaming rates)
      What happened after this was also quite interesting. I tried contacting the customer service via chat option available from browser through wifi. The customer service representative told me that my number was barred. My number will be debarred only if clear the above amount. I asked him why that much amount was billed. He said he do not have any details for that. What a wonderful customer service.
      I relied and believed on vodafone and now i am in europe without any coverage and contact. Keep up your great service vodafone. I am forced to take an international connection from europe to talk to my parents. Once i am back home first thing i need to do is to get a good connection from a reliable service provider. I will also try my max to do what i can do with the existing consumer complaint system with the details i have.

        My vodafone prepaid service mobile numberis [protected].
        I would make complaint about provision of paid services on my mobile number. Non of the request is ever made for paid services by me.
        . I request you to stop paid services with immediate effect. Several requests in this connection are made in the last one month. I stop one paid service and after a few days another paid service is operated.
        Pl note if is allowed to continued matter shall be taken up at appropriate forum for redressal.

          Vodafone representatives not provide sim card or just claiming they'll provide soon on address but yet not received.
          Present service provider stop my service as per port out request, but due to vodafone sim not delivered in time my no. Is inactive since last 2 days, cause much more loss in terms of time & money.
          Also these persons didn't reply when I called them. So till time I dont received sim from Vodafone and I unable to communicate to others in any condition.
          Also not get idea when they'll provide me the sim and who is responsible for my financial loss till getting sim to activate service?

          still they were argue like wait for some time we'll give you sim soon. Your sim is with another area representative.
          If that not delivered then go in stores.
          Why should I suffer for their mistakes?

            Inspite of applying for dnd many times, i continue to receive spam messages to the tune of 50 odd sms each day from various tele-marketers for their promotional schemes or unsolicited messages.

            Eg:- received an unsolicited message from a real estate builder in whitefield, bangalore for a scheme on their pre-launch plan of a project.
            I havent subscribed to any messages of these sorts what so ever.

            Dont know when will we have some privacy to the kind of messages we would like to receive or subscribe to.

                I have been a airtel customer. A year back i ported the number to vodafone postpaid. As i have to move abroad, i requested the vodafone carrier to convert it to prepaid. But they failed to do so and now after raising concern of getting the number back, they gave me a mail confirmation that the number is returned to parent operator (In this case airtel).

                On checking the availability of the number with airtel customer care, they are unaware of details and says that the number is not with them.

                O i am time and again trying to get help from vodafone on the status of this number currently. They provided no proper guidance in this case. I have bank and email security codes sent to that particular number which is creating a huge loss for me now.

                      I activated one number in family and friends packs . I asked customer care they told it's activated . After activation of this pack this charging from my free minutes.whats benefit of family and friends pack activation. I asked many time from three day they were telling same they have technical issue they can't do anything. More then 300 free minutes deducted from my 600 minutes which I got every month according to plan. Please do the needful otherwise I will port out within 3 to 4 days . It's better to move new operator.

                        After porting from Vodafone to Idea I was asked to pay mobile bill of Rs. 150.44 by earlier service provider. As per recent policy amount below 50 paise is treated as zero and 50 paise and above is rounded off to Re.1/-. As such, the amount of Rs.0.44 paise was not payable by me, so I paid the bill of Rs. 150/-. Unfortunately, Vodafone took out their grudge by stopping outgoing calls in my mobile from last two days. I paid Re 1/- on 13.8.16. The outgoing services are still nonfunctional. This action by Vodafone was only taken because of my number portability from Vodafone to Idea. This is a matter of serious concern. I request your authority to kindly take action against the company as I am also eligible for compensation which needs to be paid by Vodafone for such a big lapse from their side. I have faced serious problems in absence of outgoing calls non-functionality. I am still unable to make contacts with anyone till my outgoing becomes active. I know they will give some excuses but please ensure that I am compensated by the company.

                            This is to inform u that i have been constantly receving call from no.[protected] on 11 -8-16. (2times) then on[protected]time) on[protected] times) on[protected] time) all on different timings
                            I was told to answer the questions and it was not mentioned that ur balnce will be deducted per question though i picked the call only twice nd rs80 have been deducted in total rs 30 on 10-8-16. And rs 50 on 14-8-16 . I tell u honestly am a graduate (literate) still. I was cheated bcz there was no mention that balnce will b deducted . Believe me sir if i am not refunded with the amount i will. Never use this sim nd i will never suggest this network to anyone who cheats even literate persons like this.

                              According to TRAI, I gave STOP sms to 1925 to deactivate my internet service. You did not deactivate my internet service, instead u deactivated my internet pack. When I activated it back my balance around 400 mb in my data pack has gone. I lost 400 MB because o[censored].According to TRAI, start or stop is meant for internet usage in main balance & not for data packs.For using data packs, its deemed to be restricted to the specified data volume or the specified period.But u r against the TRAI regln & u r cutting down the data pack & u r looting the data balance.I kindly request u to revert the data balance in my account and assure that this will not be repeated in future.

                                I'am sick of not getting any response to my complaint from last 2 days!
                                I had requested change of my plan from red family plan Rs 899 to Rs 149 basic plan on 10th of July. Their helpline executive told me that because it is red family plan it will get changed from next billing cycle I.e. from 9th of August which means same Rs 899 plan will be active till 9th August which has some free 3G data, calls and smses and different cheaper tarrif AND I SHOULD BE CHARGED AS PER RS 899 PLAN FOR BILLING CYCLE OF 9TH JULY TO 9TH AUGUST.

                                But now you have charged me according to new plan for the said bill cycle i.e. Rs 149 which has no free 3G, calls and smses and higher tariff. As a result my bill which never crossed bill amount of Rs 2500 has come to Rs 12000.

                                This is not right their executive has given wrong communication or they are trying to cheat their customer.

                                And their helpline executives / senior executives / corporate executives are saying these charges are correctly levied. I mean come on how can these guys are not able to understand simple case that they changed the plan in advance which is not my fault. How is this thing correct in any way?

                                On mail your executive Ms Swati is saying she called me at 12.10 on 11th Aug and 5.20 on 12th Aug and I did not respond but it never ringed. All other calls are answered around both times but their calls are not ringed or missed. ‪#‎Liars‬. She says we have credited some Rs 2000 or so as a special case. I don't need any favors alright!! I need resolutions to my problem.

                                On their complaint helpline people are saying they can't do anything about it. they are helpless than how come its complaint helpline? They are not able prove it and tell me on why should I bear the charges because in back of the mind they know I' am right from my end. All they are saying if Ms. Swati from corporate has said these are correct than nothing can be done. If tomorrow they put Rs 100000 as bill and their corporate guys say these are also correctly levied and ask me to pay I have to pay the same? come Rs 12000 is not small amount.

                                Where do I go and discuss the case?

                                These are sick / cheap practices never expected this from Corporate like vodafone

                                I' am not going to pay the bill till you guys prove me with reasons that it is my fault in changing the plan before date communicated to me.
                                Guess I should toss away the sim and switch to airtel or idea

                                  I applied for conversion of my Vodafone mobile No. [protected] from postpaid to prepaid service on 09.05.2016 to the Manager, Vodafone service, Alipurduar-736121 West Bengal. But after repeated intimation to them the said connection has not yet been converted. I have not been using the said connection for last few months but the bill have been issuing regularly necessarily. Notwithstanding that I have paid few bills without using the connection unnecessarily even after filing my application and without my consumption.
                                  In view of the case stated above you are requested to convert my connection from postpaid to prepaid immediately and refund the amount paid in excess without consumption.

                                    I had a recharge of Rs 221 on 09 Aug 16 to my no [protected].A message received saying that Rs 189 talktime received but the talktime was not included to my main balance. Next day I visited a vodafone office and launched acomplain against the same.Two days after a reply has come to the vodafone office saying they made a contact to the customer and resosved the issue but actually that was not happened.

                                      I hve been charged twice hence made call twice in customer care executive and mailed on the mailing I'd thrice but no response received thus went to Vodafone store which is in dlf phase 2, Gurgaon. But didn't get any resolution, everybody was passing the ball. I m tired with this..and being frustrated with their behaviour and refund process. There is no TAT to respond on time.
