This is about my car which is broke down in Bangalore and requested for the assistance but no action been taken. I called customer service to assist me to fix my vehicle as it was having starting problem. i drove from mangalore to bangalore and again from bangalore to chennai vice- versa. i turned off engine for 10 minutes and came again to start my journey, but when i tried to start the car, there was no reaction. so i called customer service for assistance and i insisted that i need the volkswagan technician. they said alright sir, we will send the assistance team but it will cost you. i said no problem as i was in hurry to do other works. after an hour i got call from technician asking for location, i guided him to reach to my place. he was not from Volkswagen. he was from some battery shop!!! he said sorry sir i cannot fix this vehicle as your vehicle's battery is all fine!!!...i asked him are you from Volkswagen workshop? he said no.. that made me upset. Again i called customer service for assistance they said your complaint has been registered we will check it. i asked that lady pass the phone to any of her superior he did that but in a rude manner. The person named Mr. Uday assisted in a good manner but was not able to fix the problem.he called Mr. Patrick (the engineer) to assist but i could hear them speaking about my car but assistance---- NO. they said they will send other vehicle to toe my car!!! which annoyed me more.. so i said i will take this matter to consumer court.

    Dear sir,
    My name is kishor, I am using Vento Car ( AP 15BD 2349 ) since four years.
    In the month of December 2016, when I am in the journey, I faced electrical switch problem near Vijayawada. Immediately I contacted with Vijayawada Service point. At that time I accepted to do the GENERAL SERVICE also with that electrical problem and finally at the end of day they have given my vehicle and I started my journey.
    After 1000 Kms...again breakdown, some sounds are coming from engine.. but I never see that type of sound before this last service at Vijayawada. Again I contacted VW Service station near to me..ie Karimnagar Service Station...After observations in Karimnagar Service Station " Engine oil Seepage at Sump area and oil accumulated in the Turbo pipe.
    NOW MY QUESTION :
    1. I have given for GENERAL SERVICE at Vijayawada, why they have not intimated for this seepage at sump.
    2. Why that oil accumulated in Turbo Pipe, why they have not observed and not intimated me...
    3. Suddenly why Turbo will damage, as its good condition before service at Vijayawada.
    4.From 2012 to till today my car will be serviced by VW only...paid about 3.5 Lakhs for service purpose and I am so happy about VW before this service, but now its going away..
    5.Without my concern, why they painted on TOP SURFACE OF ENGINE.

    FINALLY I AM REQUESTING PLEASE ARRANGEMY CAR AS IT IS LIKE BEFORE THIS SERVICE(Vijayawada) AND MAKE ME COMFORTABLE TO CONTINUE MY CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS WITH OUT LOSS
    NOTE :( SINCE 42 DAYS LOSS OF MY BUSINESS IS COMPLETELY VOLKSWAGEN RESPONSIBILITY )

      While I was traveling in my polo ch no wvwh1360et019679 the left side brakes Locked and the entire car turned to the left side and ramed into the devider damaging the front side of the car the car was serviced a month back and the last 15day paint job was done I find the car had some problems so please if some one senior from Volkswagen could please explain to me just what went wrong the car is lying in autobahn kurla please fix my car properly

        I'm Dr Avais from malegaon. This is 3rd time I'm canceling my plan of buying a vw. 2yr back i had booked and paid 3L in advance but ur sales outlet couldn't deliver even after a month. Then last year i was buying two cars. I called nashik outlet but nobody called me back. This time i want vento and jetta auto but again pathetic salws response. Today one sales person Sandeep from nashik was supposed to get vento for trial. We were prepared to pay downpaent for two cars there itself but he came in an Ameo instead.and moreover he kept insisting for a cheque to book the car. I mean wtf. Very poor sales response. I want to book 2 vento and 1jetta asap. I[censored] could arrange a sensible salesperson please do

        Terrible service provided by the dealer,
        Kept my vehicle for more than 15 days and caused damages/ tampering to my vehicle.

        There has damages to the interior as well the exterior. The tenhnicians are not trained as well.

          Recently i gave my car for 4th service to Volkswagen Whitefield, bangalore service center with prior appointment. Usually they take 1 day for servicing the vehicle, but this time they took around 2 days saying diesel vehicle they need more time, they need to do some vibration test, some software up gradation for emission and many more. Upon enquiring on 2nd day, they said one more day is required. That sounded fishy, I didn't agree to put my vehicle their for 3 days, so they agreed to deliver the vehicle late on the 2nd day. I took the delivery at 5:45 PM and drove back to home. After reaching home, i noticed there is something shining on my windshield due to reflection of light at my parking area. I came out of car and found it's a tiny crack on my windshield. I informed the service center executive the very next day when the workshop opened. They asked me to bring the vehicle to service center. They took snap of the crack and took 2 days time saying they need to talk to their manager regarding this, and inform me. When i didn't receive any call after 2 days, i called them, but again the same response -- wait for another day. Their after they didn't entertain my calls. I had to raise a complain at VW India customer care service. Next day, another executive called me and asked me to send the snap. Now they are saying it has not happened in our premises, and we can't do anything about it. They are saying you have a stone hit during your way back to home. A crack/stone hit will never happen w/o the notice of a driver, while driving. Now i feel like, i am cheated and at the receiving end after paying so much to get a quality service from an authorized service center.
          Buying a German brand vehicle, you expect that the authorized service center will take care of your vehicle properly, but you will experience that it's same as another local service center, where you can't rely on them on what they are going to do with your vehicle.
          After paying so much on labour charge, why should i tolerate their mistake?
          I want to escalate this issue to their higher management, as this is not at all acceptable.
          Your car is not safe at authorized service center also.

          I purchased a VW Vento in 2015. The car was given for body work in VW workshop, Lucknow. The battery was disconnected during servicing and the car Radio is now asking for security code which the workshop people are not able to provide.The model is Philadelphia 835 Blaupunkt. The workshop people are not able to make the radio functional.

            Polo tdi 1.5 issues after ea189 recall

            I am the owner of polo tdi 1.5 comfortline DL10cc 4125. I had to take my car so many time bacl to service centre after the ea189 recall software update. After the update my car is facing the issues such as knoking, jeark on 4th and 5th gear while acceleration, constant rattel sound after 5th gear and a very prominant whistle sound. After every visit the condition of my car has become more worst. Attachex is the video with engine whistle sound....

              I gave my vw polo and it's been affected by flood and I have made ready outside from vw service station . It's been one year it was working fine and so I gave a general service to vw kun in Omr Chennai . I asked them whether they do my car as it's been got ready outside before . They said no problem . They charged me around 14, 000 for service but the end result was no ac, horn, power window, indicator, were working and my steeling column was also not working got stuck .

              I have no trust with them and they simply say that it's because of flood and they have my car.

              If they wouldn't take that day I would hav given outside itself

              Waste of my money and wen was checking outside they says they didn't do anything inside only oil has been changed due that they charged 14k

              I request to you to take this complaint and do the need .i don't want them to do it, bcoz wen I have second time after the prob they made my steering not working properly in a purposeful manner .

              I request you to give me my cash back which they have taken from me for service and the amount which is gonna be done outside for this rework

              I am an vw customer for past 4 years and with one polo, vento, Jetta in my home

                I am Kaur singh, I purchase a polo 1.5 on 2 June 2015 as a teat drive car from bhagat automobile patiala Sirhand road patiala . Tht type they committed tht you have warranty up to 2 June 2017 but last I got problems in my car you can check PB - 13AP 2291, I first month the got short 2 time and windows had problem so for different problem I was vist there . Last time when my mirror was not working up down of conductor side then they said your warranty got over, and now they saying its a demo car so, even I called them specially on their land line around September 2016 whom I was chandigah and my car got some problem then they said plz extend ur warranty its getting over, then there was lady told me no its up to June 2017 and now they seeing you don't have any written and all they are making stories now they sales man was satpal singh he is ṭurbon wearing man he commuted everything plz am very much frustrated now you are my last approach plz don't make me feel bad and even after this I said plz extend my warrant I am ready to pay, said we cant now so I am paying for their mistake contact no [protected]

                  We had sent our car (volkswagen vento) for service from dehradun in the mid of December, 2016 to Volkswagen Capital, Mathura Road Delhi. We had specially told that a yellow light was glowing while travelling and the pickup of the car was immediately turning low and the car was unable to start after that. By that time, the service was also due. After 4-5 days, we asked for the estimate, which was costing about Rs.85000, in which they told us that the problem was due to some pump which had to be changed and the cost was included in the estimate.We were also told that the car had been duly checked and the problem would be solved completely after this. After a week, Volkswagen Capital informed us that the car was ready to be collected and we were asked to pay Rs.86000. We requested to re-check it again and asked them to repair all the other problems too. Once we took the car, it was in delhi for about 10 days and while travelling back to Dehradun after that, the car encountered the same problem midway in Muzaffarnagar and broke drown completely. We gave a call to Volkswagen Capital again and were told that the car had to be sent to the workshop immediately and nothing was possible before that. We sent the car back to the workshop, and after 4 days, we have again received a call that some part (Turbo) has to be changed costing around 1.5 lakh rupees which was quite shocking from their side. Besides this we have also been told some clutch issue which has to be repaired, which clearly indicates that the car was not properly checked in the earlier service after requesting them again and again. This was totally unexpected from a Volkswagen Dealer like Capital, where we have been trusting for the past 2 years.

                    My car is stuck from last two weeks and do not start, my office is 40 km from home and there is only bus service and have to change bus thrice and traffic jam and it takes about 6 hours in coming and going.. I phoned Volkswagen customer assistance but they said we have no one here available so u hv to get car towed by self.                       I have purchased new allstar 1.2 ltr petol engine car.before the purchase I was told that I will be able to get a milage about 18 in city use and about 20+ in highway...but after the purchase they are saying that no petrol engine comes only milage from 10 city and highway 16... first I was giving 6-8 milage I called them they said new car need to run ...I runned the car in clean highway upto 500 kms now at present it has been runned for about 2700 kms still I'm receiving the milage same like maximum is 12.5-12.7 in highway.. I hav refilled car for more than rs 30000 in just one month

                        This is with reference to our concerns regarding Volkswagen Vehicle bearing Regn.No. HR51AV1121. We have communicated multiple times regarding the same but till now no any appropriate decision taken by your side.

                        As per your last mail received and you had written that "as per records the registered legal owner is Mr. Kailash Ahuja and ​as per company policy all legal activities and communication should be under the authority of legal registered owner only". In this regards Mr. Kailash Ahuja has already sent you in about the authority given to Mr. Parvinder Singh and you have also visit to their home and intimidate his father to get back their case otherwise he will be in trouble. You are making harassment to the family of Mr. Kailash Ahuja by calling him and by visiting his house to get back on this case as you are facing insult from the social media by uploading a video when Mr. Ahuja told you to replace his dickey as Mr. bindal / Mr. Virender singh assured to replace the dickey with new one than you told him that this case in on higher authority and can not do anything. If you cannot do anything than why are you visiting his house and calling him ?

                        The video uploaded in Youtube is correct as it have all the relevant documents against the email conversation and telephonic conversation as already told you in my previous mail and you have also the copy of mail and can cross check. And As per the telephonic conversation with Mr. Vikram I had paused the video from that day as he assured me that we will resolve your issue at the earliest but till now we are blaming each other and not ready to resolve the issue. You are saying that the Dickey is repaired outside that's why you didn't gave me in proper paint or good job than I would like to ask you why you don't ask me previously at the time of opening the job card or at the time of inspection or when you were repairing the dickey ?

                        Now you required Mr. Kailash Ahuja to visit personally at your dealership than he is ready to visit on Tuesday and requested to Mr. Kapil Bindal to available so that he can also share their views and get the decision on time. As per the mail received by Mr.Vikram, I had tried to contact Mr. Kapil bindal and it seems to busy.If the schedule changes than we will intimate you prior.

                        Till the time I didn't get you reply against the fraud done by your dealership with the billing procedure. i.e:-

                        "Attached image is showing about the fact what the dealership does fraud with their customers.

                        1. It is clearly written that " COOLANT BOTTLE & COOLANT NR" in their invoice but in the bill invoice page they are charging the amount from their customers.

                        2. " ENGINE OIL NEED TO BE TOP UP REFUSED BY CUSTOMER " but in the bill invoice page they are charging the amount from us. "

                        This Seems that you had agreed that you had done fraud in your billing system and making fool to your customers by overcharging the amount of that work which you have not carried out during the time of Servicing or repairing. The owner send their car to Authorised service centre so that he will get their vehicle with original / Genuine spare parts and get their work on satisfactory. But you have shown that you only charged for the parts or the work but didn't do.

                        As per your volkswagen policy you have to return the parts which you have replaced from the vehicle but you don't do this as I didn't get any part, It seems that may be you have charged the parts but didn't replaced in my car also.

                        At last and again i want my dickey in correct position by replacing with new one and paint with complete rubbing & Polish with the compensation of overcharged amount in your wrong billing and free service. Awaited for your kind and genuine reply.

                          My car Volswagen Polo(DL10CC1604) was sent for servicing to this authorized service center. During the service the steering assembly was damaged or replaced by the staff and it started causing issues from the very next day of the service. The car was running fine before the service was done. The dealer is refusing to be held liable for this act and asking for more money to replace the whole steering assembly. I request that strict action be taken against the dealer.

I have purchase vento tdi automatic on 16th September 2016.reg no.Gj01 RU 2089.after 1 month of purchase the Air condition of car stopped working .i vusited vw karnavati aambli, ahmedabad workshop, they have topped up gas and told problem solved.after 20 days again same problem occurred, ac stopped working, again i visited workshop, they had fone leaktest and leaktest came positive and told that cooling coil is defective and have to be replaced. they ordered cooling coil and again i put my car for cooling coil replacement. They have taken 4 days to replace it and ensured me that this time the problem is solved .again today my ac stopped working, i again went to aambli karnavati vw workshop and met to mr.kalpesh who is workshop head.i ask for last jobsheet to see what work they have dobe last time.when i saw i am surprised that they have not replaced cooling coil on 14th dec.and just topup gas again.so i realized that they have cheated me.they had ordered cooling coil from pune but not fitted in my car.now i m very much frustrated and i will go to consumer court for that .i dont want this car now.i want replacement of my car.

                              Last week vw mysore service centre has put a new injector and chargedo 24000 rupees. Yesterday I took out my vento for bangalore and after running 100 kms, the smell of diesel started and when opened the bonnet I found diesel oozing out from the 2nd newly fixed injector. The vehicle was stopped immediately to avoid fire hazard and towed to bangalore rajajinagar service centre, and paid 5600 ru pees. Case no[protected] Rmaxarsa.
                              My vento read at mysore KA09MB0054 and read in Feb 2014 and has run 18600 km so far.
                              My grivience are
                              How come the the injector has become defective in 3 yes
                              Why extended warranty and roadside assistance not told or remindedo to me before expiry
                              Why after fixing new injector it was not checkEd for leaks
                              Why my and my family put to grave risk
                              Why I made to pay for everything because of some ones negligence or incompetence
                              Mr bop Anna and supervisor raghavendra and other staff needs to be asked to give explanation
                              I need to be convinced and the negligent staff to be taken to task

                                  Hello,

                                  I gave my car a couple of weeks ago at the service station Volkswagen Palace Cross in Rajajinagar, Bangalore. I was told about a problem in the spark plug, fuel filter and ignition wire. The parts weren't available and hence ordered. The parts have been replaced and still the problem hasn't been solved. Newer issues are being reported by the manager who is responsible for my car. The response has been sloppy, things are not being clearly reported and I have no idea when I would get the car back. We all have jobs and it's extremely difficult to find time to visit the service center and follow up on a daily basis.
                                  At the moment, I am being told that a "testing instrument" isn't available and needs to be got from another VW service center. This is ridiculous.

                                  First of all, the number of service centers are few. Secondly, they don't have parts and testing instruments. Thirdly, there is no clarity and a clear response from the personnel. As consumers, we find this very painful and prevents us from preferring Volkswagen cars. And ofcourse, the bill speaks a completely different story.

                                  I am looking forward to a quick and informative reply from you guys atleast.

                                    My 2012 Vento TDi has done 44400 kms. On 9th Jan 2017, the car started knocking.GLOW PLUG and EMISSION warning lamps flashing. Took it to VW service Center in TVM. They have said the issue is with a faulty fuel injector. The reason for this is bad fuel. If that is the case, then my fuel filter should give away first. I changed it some 3 months back.

                                    VW is charging me for what is actually a manufacturing defect. With the recent emission control, I doubt if its even this.

                                      My car vento comfortline 2012 model bought during April 2012. During the past one month I filled twice diesel oil to full tank capacity for checking mileage. After filling my car for first incidence driven for 170 KM and parked for few days before next drive 350 Kms range. After filling second time to full tank capacity, car driven for 350 Kms range and parked idle for few days. Then the car driven for 350 KM range. Fortunately 15 KMs away from my home, a coil image and engine image both in yellow color flickered in the dash board indicator and the car lost its pick up. I was advised by coimbatore and Madurai authorized service centers to drive the car slowly to either one of their service centers. As it was late evening, we reached home by driving slowly to our home. After parking the car idle for two days the car was driven slowly and delivered to Madurai service center for repair work. They said the electrical circuit in one fuel injector was out which can not be repaired or cleaned and to be replaced. The material cost+tax+labor cost works out to Rs22000 Plus. Heavy amount I spent for the same as the extended warranty cover was expired which can not be extended or renewed because the company gives this benefit only for four years. The service people instructed that if the diesel fuel would be filled to full capacity, car should not be kept idle for longer time until the fuel indicator shows diesel capacity with lesser than full capacity. Usually the fuel indicator turns backward from touching full capacity, only after travelling for 100- 200 KM range. So until then the car should not be kept without running for more days. Otherwise the electrical circuit in the oil injector would be stressed causing to such damage. Unfortunately on the same day another WW highline car was repaired there with the same problem. They also filled fuel to full capacty, kept idle for few days in home and traveled for 900Kms. During running the same trouble which occurred to me happened to them and delivered the car to this Madurai service center. Hence what the service people told me seems as more valid. This type of defect not seen in cars other than WW. So WW R&D should find out the defect in the fuel injector and should rectify the same in the future manufacturing. As it is a major common manufacturing defect, they should compensate the loss of repair cost to the suffered customers who had replaced the injectors so far. Also WW should withdrew all the fuel injectors of the sold out vehicles for free replacements. Otherwise the lust on WW cars among the buyers would start to fade.

                                      It is said that if the fuel oil would be filled to full tank capacity, the car should not be kept rest for more time. Immediately the car should run to lower the fuel level from full tank stage. Otherwise the oil injector failure would arise. It is not my own experience. During my visit to service center to rectify the injector problem for my vehicle vento comfortline model, I have met another party in the service center with the same defect after kept the car idle for whole night after filled fuel oil to full tank capacity. Then they drove for long trip. In the middle of the trip the oil injector in one head failed to work. The service center people also recommend that If the car would be kept idle for long time after filling oil, then better not to fill oil to full tank capacity. All the vento comfortline model WW car owner should know this so that they can save unnecessary repeated and repeated unbearable repair costs. It is a major technical defect. The manufacturer should rectify this problem by redesigning the fuel oil injector appropriately. But then I never tried to fill fuel by more than half tank. Still the same 3rd head oil injector failed for second time which I have replaced just some 15 months back. The miserable thing is that I have conveyed my car to the service center for AC repair. The AC repair job was related with electric wire problem.They have replaced the wire and delivered the car on the second day. I drove the car just for some ten KM from the service center delivery point. The above said second time oil injector failure occurred. What I feel is that while the particular wire was replaced I think some entanglement in the electrical circuit might occur leading to the said second time oil injector defect. Also what I further feel is that all the service center job attenders are not trained appropriately. Few well trained people employed by the service center are attending the fresh delivered vehicles only. Then for the old cars the repair jobs might be attended with those attenders who may not be trained will with the job. If so the manufacturer should arrange to train the service center workers appropriately. Only well trained jobbers should attend the cars irrespective the age of the cars.

                                      The reg no of my vento car under my past complaint is TN-57-AX-5466. By mistake I was unable to follow your reply. My loss was heavy, due to replacement of the said, one failed oil injector. You open your system and check the history chart for my car repair done so far. The replacement was done at your Madurai (TN state) service centre. I also regret to say that once again the replaced oil injector in the same head was failed during Sep of this academic year. Even though the warranty period was lapsed, by grace your Coimbatore (TN state) service centre has replaced free of cost. But for the first replacement, my loss was heavy and not been compensated. Bill detail: order No-SO-166973, date- 28th Dec 2016. The bill amount is Rs22, 222.50. As it was purely technical fault, I request you either to compensate me for this loss directly or arrange to compensate through your Madurai service centre at the earliest.

                                      I have not received any response till today from the customer care section.
                                      I have a polo and i have been using it since one and half years. The seats are totally uncomfortable and made my neck and back pain. Moreover the pain is increasing day by day. Even the clutch is hard and to be pressed long enough which has created pain and swelling in my brothers knee. Sandeep Ahlawat (DL3CBW 3553)
