Hi. Im a vw vento customer since 2011. But wanted to exchange my vento diesel highline model to new Ameo but vw goa has given no response to come n give me quote for my vehicle past 1 month. Also visited showroom 2 weeks back but everyday they answer person wil come nw to margao n call. What is d issue ? Im a buyer still so bad response. Why ?? Is vw become slow in india now ?

    I have buy a Polo car 1 year ago. And I am taking insurance from Polo i.e l&t and now it should be hdfc insurance. L&t and hdfc insurance are same but the total worker are fraud. I am taking a insurance from 0 depth but they should passes only 30%of the amount.. Don't buy a Volkswagen car. If you buy a Volkswagen car but insurance not given from Volkswagen.

    The same case also happened in my case, I have bought a POLO from VW-Raipur in Dec'2015 and in May'2016 I got transferred to Bhubaneswar. Here at Bhubaneswar one minor accident happened with my car ( Radiator Holder damaged ), then I take the vehicle to VW-Bhubaneswar and they informed me that as they have no tie-up with New India Assurance so I have to pay cash for the vehicle repairing, then I contact with VW-Raipur and they assured me that pl. pay for the repairing in cash although my insurance was CASHLESS and then VW-Raipur will arrange to re-imburse me the same amount. So I got repaired my vehicle with a payment of 8, 633/- to VW-Bhubaneswar but till date ( from 01/07/2016 - 14/11/2016 ) I have not received the same amount & very strange to say that now VW-Raipur is saying that it was a miscommunication & misunderstanding between myself & VW-Raipur !!!
    I left my car Jetta (TN09BJ2357) for service because of an accident . Mean while when my car was in service at your station the A/C parts and other interior parts of my car is stolen . The person Incharge says I need to pay for the parts stolen which is not my fault. If any action not taken against my complain I'm going to consumer rights court .

      I had given my car for general checkup on 24th october 2016.
      I asked the advisor who was in charge ( Mr.Athul Das) if there is any clutch issue.
      The answer which i got from him is, "NO SIR, CLUTCH IS ALRIGHT AND NOISE WAS BECAUSE THE BUSH FOR THE AIR FILTER WAS FALLEN, I HAD REPLACED THE SAME".

      I already had the confidence with ELITE as i bought my VEHICLE HERE !
      With the same confidence and believing in Mr.Athul i drove it to my native.

      When i drove back, the vehicle is not even moving.Your pathetic customer service is not even giving out the complete information as to where to TOW the vehicle to.
      And i towed it again( On my own expense) to your showroom "ELITE" last evening[protected] at 18:00 hrs.

      I came to your showroom today at 10:00 AM with the HOPE that atleast some of the advisor will be assigned.

      Adding to the pathetic [censored] of your service not even a single person was assigned until only when i spoke to Mr.Godwin.

      Mr.Naveen has been assigned and he said was, the Clutch is 100% worn out.

      Now i am in a Confusion as to who is RIGHT or who is WRONG !

      My Question :- WHY THIS WAS NOT SAID TO ME BY MR.ATHUL ? I HAD ATLEAST SAVED THE COST OF GETTING IT TOWED.HOW IT WILL GET COMPLETELY WORN OUT WITHIN 10 DAYS. ( As ONLY Max 600 kms RUN after the service)
      IF AT ALL ITS BEEN COMPLETELY WORN OUT, HOW TO BELIEVE NOW THAT YOU WILL REPLACE THE NEW ONE AFTER THE VERY PATHETIC SERVICE YOU HAD GIVEN ME.

      Disgusted with the Behavior and the way you handle the Customers.

        We have POLO Petrol after 2 years o[censored]se, we have key observations on VW so called Global brand, very poor in customer service .

        1) No customer intimacy by VW India to owner
        2) Getting in POLO and come out of car is pain taking
        3) The service quality of Vidyut motors is too poor, its show room, they have limited knowledge about vehicle service
        4) Very immature staff at Vidyut Motors Pune
        5) The dealer / VW Chakan plant / Customer care, , they attend the phone as per their convenience.
        6) the Bajaja alliance insurance team is another weak link with VW

        All in all, this is tinted VW company, global scandal company they have to learn many things if they wnat to make business in India

          I went for the car service at Volkswagen service centre before 15 days ago.
          Service was very improper. Suddenly noise coming from the steering of the car.
          Nobody is responsible there in the staff.
          They always try to sell their own product of dealership.
          It is very harsh to get such an unprofessional approach from such huge brand name...

            I bought my vw jetta in march 2016. When the salesman came to me with the demo he brought a 2015 model of jetta and made me go through the whole features and I took the test drive. He showed me an option of voice control in the car and that was one of the very impressive option. When I got the delivery of my car which was the upgraded model 2016 that car had the voice control button but didn't work.
            I have been lodging complaints since match trying to understand how can an older model of the car have a feature which the upgraded model doesn't even when the hardware is there.
            It's been very disappointing they haven't solved my problem till date and I still await.
            Be careful of them they misguide the client.

              I bought my new VW Vento 3 years back. It is driven 54k km in last 3 years. I have been taking very good care of my car and getting all the required servicing on time from authorized VW service centers.

              Recently, my car broke down on the road and did not start. I got my car towed to authorized dealership (frontier vw center, mohan cooperative) immediately. They advised me that timing belt needs to be replaced. Estimated cast was INR 50k

              Issue #1: While it’s possible but Timing belt broke down much earlier than it’s avg. life.

              For some reason, their service center could not fix the timing belt, and further advised that car needs to be opened up further. And they estimated cost of repair to be INR 156k.

              Issue #2: I am not a car expert, but looks like neither are service center staff who could not figure out the issue in the car.

              By now, I tried to be inquisitive and asked service man if they are sure if this will fix the issue. Then to my surprise, they suggested to replace half of the engine. Now the estimate of repair cost is INR 350k + taxes. This cost if ~35%-40% of the cost of the new car.

              Issue#3: It was clear to me that they don’t know what the issue is or they are just trying to screw me over. Either ways, it has significantly changed my perception about VW.

              Issue#4: If the fixes suggested by service center are needed, it is very surprising that 3Yr old car with just 50k km on it need so many/expansive fixes so soon. Not sure if that’s because this unit was defected to begin with and it has something to with all the recalls VW did in US and Europe.

              Service center told me that they will get back in next 2 days. Not sure what the process is but at this point I am confident that I need repaired car, I want a new replacement of this car. I was sold a defective car that broke down in 3 years. And this model is not a cheap model, but even Tata NaNo car which is one-tenth of the cost of Vento runs longer than this car.

              I would like to request please take a look into the matter urgently because not having a car is effecting my daily life and my job.
              I would expect a company like yours will take this matter seriously and take actions that ensure great customer experience. I look forward to hearing back from you.

                My car was called upon a regular check up at the service centre near bbd university lucknow. My car problems has not been solved yet there is a constant noise coming from left side front tyre shock absorbers from the day i bought the car that is on 14 august 2016 and the same was attended by service advisor payal gord and arjun. After inspection of the car it had two bumps one was on the right side and the other was on the rear bumper. When my car came from washing it had many scratches all over the car because of the labour wearing a sort bangle on his hand when i complained about it they took the aggressive side and said the car already had scratches i have from my eyes that scratches occured due to the labours bangle i want a solution for my car up32hf3467 ameo registered on the name of advocate saumya choubey
                Give me a solution to my problem or you will bound for a legal explanation in the court of law.

                  Car number TN 34 W 3006 Volkswagan polo, was left for an complaint work before a month for clutch being to hard at ramani Volkswagan, run kilometres is 25000. The reply after the work is everything is normal, the clutch will get hard as kilometre runs the make of clutch is of that type which becomes hard on useage. A customer can not afford to change clutch plate ever 25000 kms. Kindly take needed step to solve the problem

                    Hi,

                    I have given my car for Service @ VW Madras – KUN Capital Motors, Alandur on 24th Oct.

                    After Vehicle pick-up, it was conveyed that service will be done within 2 days & the car will be handed over to me on or before 26th Oct, but that was not happened and after taking several follow-ups, I have got my car on 28th Oct.

                    Now the problem is, my car was returned to me with the following 4 complaints & out of which 3 complaints was not there while I giving my car for service & these 3 complaints were arisen at the time of service & the remaining 1 complaint was given in the demanded repair.

                    Complaint #1: Severe diesel leakage observed from the engine, this issue was not there initially while giving my car for Service, but this was raised at the time of service after changing some parts from engine, in fact because of this issue, service engineer delayed for 2 more days in delivering my vehicle, but that was not fully rectified & handed over to me at the same condition, still leakage is observed. I’m seriously concerned about this issue, as this may lead to severe damage to the vehicle & to the human who is traveling inside it.
                    Pls note, this diesel leakage issues cannot be easily identified by the customer at the time of taking handover post service, I identified this issue after 3 days, as the diesel/oil smell was not settled down even after completing the service.

                    Complaint #2: The Spare Wheel(Stepney) was in good condition at the time of leaving my vehicle for Service, during service work, one of my tyres got punctured & they replaced the same with Spare wheel, but they didn’t repair the punctured type & kept the wheel as it is in boot space without aligning the kit & wheel(Pls see to the attached pictures “Boot Space & Stepney Puncture”). Is this the way the vehicle will be handed over to customer after service..??
                    And the most interesting & worst part is, the service manager(Ramesh from OMR service station, Contact Number-[protected]) is asking the charges from customer to repair that punctured tyre which got punctured during service work. Even a local workshop man will respond to customer with loyalty for such issues.

                    Complaint #3: I have asked to check the RHS lamp high beam functionality, also it is clearly mentioned in the Demanded repairs(Pls see to the attached pic “Invoice 1”), but that was not done & still the high beam is not working for RHS lamp.

                    Complaint #4: In the speedometer, it was displaying the pending KMs the car can run with the available fuel, but post service it is not reflecting, instead its displaying some temperature(Refer the attached pic “Speedometer”).

                    Once I got my vehicle on 28th Oct, I have inspected all the above mentioned issues & I personally asked(Without escalating to anyone) the service engr(Mr.Ram, Contact Number:[protected]) to get this issue addressed within next day, but till now there is no proper response from him.

                    Again on 1st of Nov, I have received a call from Service Centre(Contact Numbers:[protected], [protected]) asking the feedback about the service, at that time I have clearly told all the issues & requested them to get this issue addressed asap.

                    But till now, no action is taken from their end & the condition of vehicle is becoming worse, I’m suffering a lot for the past 2 weeks due to this irresponsible work being done by VW Madras KUN Service Centre.                     Now, I’m requesting the VW Customer care to provide me the mail IDs of your higher authorities, So that I can escalate further to them directly to get my issues addressed, as I have no clue what to do further..!!

                        I own a vw polo highline diesel 1.5 tdi, vehicle no : tn 10 ar 9499, the car was purchased on jan 2015, within 1.9 years, turbo is not working all of sudden @32000 km approx, the car was left in vw garage @ tvs sundaram chennai whites road for more than 1 month, no one have any clue how the turbo is worn out so early, they said its covered under warranty, replaced a new turbo, took for a road test, again there a noise & error,

                          PPS Motors(VW dealer) in Hyderabad has identified that two of my fuel injectors were bad and they need to be replaced. My vehicle is under warranty, but they do not want to cover it under warranty as I have done oil change outside once out of four services I had till now. I have done the oil change at another workshop once as I did not get an appointment at VW dealer. They are using that an excuse to escape the warranty coverage. Fuel injectors problem is very common with Vento's and it is very expensive item to replace. I have reviewed the service manual which does not say that I cannot do oil change outside.

                            I have purchased vw vento in 2012 and all annual services are being done on time in chennai, where i reside. Last service was done in march 2016 and the next is due by march 2017.
                            4 days back i had a problem, like display of warning lights - engine management system fault and coil spring light on. Engine was nagging and lot of engine noise.
                            Vehicle was inspected by the authorised service centre personnel and they declared that it is fuel injector problem. They claim that it is because of adulterated/sub standard fuel.
                            I honestly say that i do take care of my car by self-driving ; filling fuel in bpcl company outlet/shell outlet.
                            Do they mean to say that the fuel being supplied by the above are not upto the mark for vw engines? Or as end user, do we have any mechanism to check the quality of fuel supplied?
                            Vw being a german brand, do they not have technology to handle this?
                            If it is not meant for indian roads, why does the government allow such brands to be sold in india?
                            I honestly feel that vw is trying to cover up something as done by them with respect to emission norms. Or let them come out to say that the injectors are to be replaced at frequent intervals/after a certain mileage so that end users will come to know about the quality they boast off. (German standard).
                            May i have a reprieve out of this? Can anyone give your valuable guidance. I am really worried about the exhorbitant cost (Rs. 25000/-) per injector ; there are four totally.

                            The problem has been attended to by KUN VW Madras at Alandur. They have replaced the first and 4th fuel injector. Further technical details may please be obtained from them. They say that the work has been executed on Goodwill and have charged me 50% of the labour cost. But the actual reason for its failure is still not clear. If it is made clear we can also take further required care additionally. Regards.
                            We had the same problem and we informed VW but really sorry to say that they have taken it so lightly. The complaint which we have logged is below.

                            Sir/Madam,

                            We have been loyal customers of Volkswagen, since 2011. We were one of the first customers of Volkswagen right from when it was launched in Kerala. It was with great expectations both in terms of quality and service that we had pinned down our selections among other options to the Volkswagen Vento -TDI .My wife who was working in Germany for around 20 years has used Volkswagen car to her satisfaction, which had influenced our decision to go ahead with German engineering. But it was to our shock and dismay that we started experiencing continuous engine trouble and other problems from the very beginning.

                            The first engine trouble (20 August 2014)we experienced was of the nature that the alarm warning for engine trouble would get triggered off and then the car would move onto the low power mode, with driving possible only in the 1st and 2nd gears. We've then had to drive the vehicle in that condition to the servicing centre around 25km away as the Road Service Assistance advised us to drive the vehicle as the warning lamps had only turned yellow and the car could be driven. Upon servicing the car (VW Servicing Centre Kottayam, Kerala )The reason cited to us was that there is an engine trouble .We paid up the servicing cost of Rs.6854 and the problem was cleared after the servicing on replacing the Fuel Injector.(Refer: Repair Order No SO142900, 18 August 2014 ). We were on our way to Punalur, 80km from Changanacherry for a attending a function of our close relative. The car broke down at Tiruvalla, 8 km away from Changanacherry. We had to cancel the car trip and opt other means to reach the destination.

                            The same issue occurred in the month of February 2015. Again, we had to cancel an important programme and we took the car to the VW Servicing Centre Kottayam, Kerala. The fuel injector was replaced and we had to pay an amount of Rs11, 310. (Refer Order No S0146927, 03 February 2015).

                            The next major issue we had was ABS malfunction. This occurred during our trip to Kattappana (High Range Area) 125km from Changanacherry. After confirmation from Volkswagen service centre, we dropped the vehicle to the service station soon after. The Front Left Speed Sensor was replaced. We paid an amount of Rs 4, 625/- for the servicing (Refer : Order No S0153096, 03 August 2015)

                            The engine trouble recurred on 20 August 2015.It was taken to the service station on 21 August by the company staff. The car remained in the workshop till 05 September 2015. For 15 days we did not get our vehicle. This was during the Onam festival when we required the vehicle the most. All this while we had to hire a taxi for attending several functions
                            Again. the same part of Fuel Injector was re-installed and the car was handed over to us after about two weeks at the servicing .We paid an amount of Rs 1, 999/- for the charges.

                            In just three days ( 09 August 2015), from the last repair we again experienced another major issue while my daughter was driving back from her workplace in Pala, near Kottayam. Heavy smoke came out of the rear exhaust pipe leading to other drivers plying on the road to sound the horn incessantly to warn her about the fumes. She stopped the vehicle on the road near Kottayam and called in for Road Side Assistance. She was dropped home by the RSA staff. However, she reached home at night, 3 hours late than the usual time. The techinician who drove the car back to the service station confirmed that the RSA assist vehicle that was moving behind the Vento could not see clearly because of the heavy smoke. The car is now again at the VW Servicing centre at Kottayam, Kerala.

                            Now, let me put forward to you the main issues that I have faced having cited the whole history of the engine trouble and the ABS malfunction:

                            1) In a brief period of 4 years since we bought Volkswagen Vento -TDI, we have now replaced the same part of 'FUEL INJECTOR' three times and replaced the ABS SENSOR and each time paid a high servicing fee leading to a total expenditure of Rs 24, 788 /-

                            2) Apart from this, is the mental agony and humiliation we keep facing of not being able to bank upon our vehicle as a reliable means of transport for us. Often while traveling for important work or for major family functions, we have faced the complete breakdown of our vehicle leaving us with no option but to cancel the whole programme. This has caused me and my family extreme discomfort and mental agony of having to pay continuously pilling up servicing cost and yet to be unable to rely on the vehicle and to be constantly vary of an impending breakdown of the same. I have myself driven a Ford, Fiat car for 20 years and currently own a 19 year old Maruti car both of them combined together have not caused me this much servicing cost or maintenance or breakdown issues as the Volkswagen car has in just 4 years.

                            3) Moreover, I feel myself incapable to rely on the vehicle even after purchasing a High line Version of the vehicle after hearing such good review of the always trustable and bankable German engineering. I have an upcoming important function of my daughter’s wedding for which I had planned my vehicle to serve as the wedding car for the function. Now I have no confidence in the vehicle for using in such an important function. It is with a heavy heart that I have to say this that I find myself in a position in which I feel I have invested Rs 11 lakhs and continuing heavy service charges but at the end of the day hold on to nothing .

                            4) Moreover the vague and flimsy finding provided to us after the elaborate servicing done is that the engine trouble is caused due to moisture content in the fuel. Kerala is a predominantly coastal state and these issues if any should have been cleared and rectified prior to the vehicle's induction to the market in your R&D itself. It is extremely shameful and seriously questions the Volkswagen Brand value and reliability if the R&D in this matter was not addressed prior to the vehicle's induction into the market. The onus is not on the consumer to find out if the high end quality engine of Volkswagen Vento -TDI, as claimed, is compatible to the fuel quality in Kerala.

                            Kindly revert back to me and redress my grievances. I cannot afford to keep up with these servicing costs which are yielding no result whatsoever. What I expect from you is a full refund of the vehicle cost and the servicing cost at the earliest. Till this issue is sorted out, we are not going to take the car back from the service station at Kottayam. Kindly do not make us suffer more.

                            Again they have not given the invoice for the 3rd valve replacement too.

                            Now the 4th valve also failed and we are planning to go to consumer court for the same. Feels ashamed off to their technology and the quality of there motor parts.

                              Have purchased an automatic vento diesel car from volkswagen karnavati, ahmedabad.

                              The invoice in favour of salim a patel is from parklane cars pvt ltd bearing no plcpl 234 dated 18.10.16. chassis no. mexh16603gt099245. engine no. cwx141303.

                              After taking delivery of the vehicle it was observed while driving that a typical noise was coming from the front of the car. this was immediately brought to the attention of the dealer's service station on 24.10.16 and the vehicle has been retained by them.

                              It is three days from now and no solution has been found by the service attention. out of concern we visited the service station and saw that our car was totally dismantled.

                              No client would like to buy a car and have it repaired immediately. we have gone in for a brand new the car for not getting it repaired. this is worst than how a second hand car behaves. the sanctity of having a new car is lost when it is stripped open.

                              Before delivering the car quality checks should have been done and quality assurance confirmed.

                              This is highly unacceptable and that too coming from a reputed car company like volkswagen.

                              A new car has to be given to us without any further delay. no compromise whatsoever will be done in this regard.

                              Will also be taking up the matter with consumer society if required.

                              We chose volkswagen for its quality, promptness, service and reputation. however we are very disappointed with the debacle performance.

                              Attached are the pictures which will justify our annoyance and disappointment of the company's delivery standards.

                              This event has not only left a sour impression amongst us but the reputation of volkswagen is also at stake.

                              Request your immediate response of providing a new car at the earliest. the purpose of buying this car at this time is for our use during the festive seasons.

                              Even if the car gets repaired we will not accept this repaired car as we have paid for a brand new one with zero fault.

                                Volkswagen finance is always asking for money when ever i require account statment. As a practise they are not sending montly or quaterly account statement as mail or electronic meduim.

                                If i have to get the statement then i need to pay around inr 300/- and get the statement. I think this is a bad practise and finance company should provide it on regular basis without charging any money from customer.

                                  My car keeps stopping intermittently and refuses to start. One fine day, the car refused to start completely and had to be towed to the workshop. Root cause of the issue identified was that the fuel pump(under rear seat) was faulty and workshop guys promised to call me after its fixed. Later after 2 days, I got a call from the workshop that the fuel pump magically again started working now. I requested for the replacement of the intermittently working component that is under warranty, but the workshop guys are claiming that its working now. I escalated the issue to customer care of Volkswagen multiple number of times, however I was redirected back to the workshop. Its been a month(30 days) now, the car is still in workshop. Service advisor called me to the workshop to show me that the car is starting now.

                                  How can I drive a car that keeps stopping on the road intermittently. Why wouldn't they replace the fuel pump that keeps failing intermittently? Isn't this an issue from Volkswagen part? Why are they refusing warranty claim? The car will soon run out of warranty in 2 months. Can you please instruct the workshop to replace the faulty component as opposed to arguing wth me saying that its working now?

                                    I am writing this with much disappointment of buying a vw car. I own a polo 1.2 tdi highline.
                                    Ever since i have started using this from 2013, i have been facing multiple issues as listed.

                                    1. After 2 years, i. E in 2015, engine malfunction light (Coil kind of warning sign) started blinking. After 2-3 diagnosis, it was fixed under extended warranty.

                                    2. Just around 2 months back (In my last service), the engine malfunction light (Engine signed warning sign) started showing up again. It was fixed again in extended warranty coverage.

                                    3. Now, my stereo display (It is an oem 2 din stereo) is not working along with usb not being detected. Only radio works that's it.

                                    When you project yourself as a german engineering brand and advertise the whole world, it is also equally important that you produce least defective/malfunctioned product. Can you imagine how much pain it is to visit service centre every alternate months to get these things fixed even after buying the costliest car in its segment?
                                    Can't your qa team work hard to ensure they check every part and do proper tests? For the stereo issue that i highlighted, service centre says that it has to be sent to chennai for in-detail check and fix. I live in pune and it takes almost 2-3 weeks for the service center to send-fix-receive it back. Till then what i should keep listening in my car? Your ameo add music???

                                      I have purchased vento automatic hiline from karnavatti volkswagon ahmedabadon 09.05.16. I was deleverd damaged car. After two days from delevary i noticed that the gear shift plate is damaged and the same was informed to the sales representative of karnavati volks wagon by phone call. He said that whenever you come to ahmedabad they will check it but now they says i have to pay 50% for the damaged part. My point is that if it is not their fault then why they are ready to bear 50% cost? Since last one month i m regularly in touch with the sales person and i have also visited the showroom but at that time they said they will talk to management and inform me.                                         Hi,

                                        I have polo, 1.2 petrol highline model. I have purchased this vehicle in 2013.

                                        With in 3 years, my cars speed sensor (Abs sensor) was changed more than 4 times.

                                        Vw charge rs 4000 for this simple magnetic sensor. What is the resaon why they arr charging such high price for this cheap quality part.

                                        My battery also dead in 3 years. And they dont have tie up with good quality battert providers like amron.

                                        My cars starter motor (Rs 16000) was changed 2 times within 2years.

                                        Why is a brand like vw is using such cheap quality items? And charging too much for this?
