Below email I have sent to VRL Travels
on 13-Jul-2016 followed by 17-Aug as there were no responses. Raising my voice.
Incident happened on 12-Jul-2016.
Bus departed from Nagpur on (11-Jul-2016, MH04-G8813) was failed at around 6:00 AM near Waluj, Aurangabad. Driver requested to VRL for the replacement bus, the replacement bus reached at around 1:30 PM. There were around 40 passengers who were struggling desperately to reach Pune as everyone committed to their work/job. But the bus reached so late that everyone lost their office work. People were struggling for food but there were no food arrangements were made by VRL.
Instead of helping people in such act VRL call center continuously disconnected the calls, we were helpless. When we tried calling Mr. Raviraj (Pune Branch manager), he was so busy that he didn’t even answer the calls.
The physical and mental torture was unbearable, finally we reached home at around 8:30 PM. Thru this email I am writing to VRL for compensation of the day, it could be fare we paid for the travelling + food arrangements we did at our own + miscellaneous.
We have got the driver’s confirmation where mention of bud failure.
Looking for positive response from VRL travels
I wrote this to VRL on Jul 13, 2016, followed by 17-Aug too but there was no response till 22-Aug. When VRL representative wrote to their local manager to look after this matter but no one turns up till date. I think it was my fault to travel using VRL bus. This is no way service provider way of working.
Thru this complain I want to express my grief and want to aware all the commuters that not to or avoid using VRL services.
There are many such incidents were reported by fellow commuters but since they don't have choice and so they were using the service with no option. I am just representing their voice.
