Hi Team,

I brought a whirlpool fridge in the year 2020, and now facing an issue since 12 days. I raised a complaint at their customer service center, wherein they sent a person with visiting charges to inspect. He mentioned that the fridge's gas has leaked and the gas needs to be refilled for which he will send the person the following day. He also mentioned of expecting a problem with the compressor but he did not take that forward to the next person. The next person visited us again in two days and mentioned that the gas is in place but the issue is with the compressor which needs to be replaced. Today, 7 days are completed and there is no sign of compressor replacement. Each day I am informed that the compressor will be arranged the following day and the concerned service will be delivered. They also disagreed to provide for a subsitute fridge for the time being. In these work from home times, its a shameful and mentally draining act by whirlpool, wherein first they have provided us with a defective piece, second they have failed us to provide on time service, third they are not providing for a temperory arrangement.

      We have bought whirlpool 360 washing machine.

      Intially we were getting UB error, then we started getting SS1 error.

      We have raised complaint to whirlpool washing machine service.

      Service guy visited and charged 4500rs for mother board + 1500rs for cleaning packets which we haven't given permission or asked him to clean.
      Total 6000rs charged.

      Service guy doesn't even have time to look what he has done. He switched on the machine and dint wait to see whether if the issue is resolved. He might not even reached his office. We again got the ss1 error within 10minutes. Huge cost is charged for nothing.

      Irresponsible service guy. Irresponsible service and customer care from whirlpool india.

      Guys please don't buy whirlpool products.

        HI,

        I am from Bangalore, 2 months back I had issue with whirlpool washing machine and I got serviced from the company by changing the washing machine panel and charged 5K, issue is here the MRP is not specified in that panel. I called them and provided the feedback no proper response.

        From yesterday I am facing again problem with washing machine I raised complaint for service 18th Nov -21 Morning 8 AM as per call center person they will attend in 24hrs. No one turned back. Today morning again I called at 9 AM and they told will take as priority and send technician. Till now no one is come or even called. I believe quality of service of the company is poor, how this companies are allowed to run in India with providing proper service and showcasing as standard company. How the quality of company is measured, this companies should be scrapped and not to allow to do business in India

          We recently brought a whirlpool double door fridge and washing machine. The fridge has been giving problems since day 1. First of all, there was ice formation at the back of the freezer. Then the cooling stopped altogether in the fridge. Lodged a complaint at [protected]. They send a technician who was very incompetent. He melted the ice and then left. After 2 days the same problem repeated. After lodging a complaint the same technician came and did the same procedure. When asked what's the issue he said that the thermostat is not working. Need to be replaced. He went to get the thermostat snd brought another technician with him. He said the heat sensor need to be replaced. They said they will come the next day to do it. The next day after the heat sensor was changed my MCB kept tripping. Then the technician called another technician who did something in the back panel and said that the fridge will be working fine now. I also got a whirlpool ka stabilizer. But since today there is heavy condensation in the fridge and big water droplets are falling on my vegetables and other items kept in the fridge. I called and asked the technician to file for a return for the product as it is faulty. He has not done that. I am feeling mentally harassed by all this experience. The technicians treated my home as an experiment lab. My food items get spoiled every day. I want whirlpool to replace my fridge as soon as possible.

          Hi I have almost the same compliant and has an intelifresh model which has been giving ice formation inside fridge. I enquired outside and gotbto know that this model has such constant complaint and is discontinued now and also parts are nt available. Like you mentioned there were rounds of technician visitings and experimenting and now the only part left to be changed was ordered and guess what it's not available anywhere in India. The offer they have given us now is provide 25% amount of the fridge after the depreciation (fridge is 4 years old) if we can buy another whirlpool fridge. Who would want to take that risk after all these drama. This is not at all fair, expecting someone to understand and resolve.

                  I purchased bottom mount fridge from Behl agencies put Ltd. Dehradun Product HSN code 8418 sno.3701FPROBMINV CNV N3(S) Omega steel on 13.2.2021. Inside the surface of bottom section ice is getting accumulated and fridge is also making sound like genset. After registering complaint the technician visited and inform the module is to be replaced but still the problem persist. I visited Number of times to the dealer but only getting false promises. I also registered online complaint DEH[protected] & DEH[protected] but still unattended. It's my humble request pls arrange for the replacement of faulty fridge immediately.

                    We bought top loading washing machine from whirlpool in 2018. Exactly after two years we are getting too much sound from washing machine while rinsing and drying. We requested service from whirlpool and the technician visited after 4 days. He said motor bearing got damaged and which will cost Rs.6000. He charged Rs. 472 for his visit.
                    This is unexpected quality from whirlpool company. We are using whirlpool Refrigerator since years. With that trust we bought washing machine from same company. But this is happened.

                            I am filing a case consumer court for fraud and not repairing the fridge . Its been Months tried since around 10-15 time service executive came and tried to fix it and My mom payed too many times for different parts which is more than 13k rupees . Every time there is different part problem, its been months with this hassle now they want us to pay for the some pipe . I am pretty sure previously changed parts were not the problem because it still have the same problem. My mother is 65 and you guys ripping her money off and doing fraud. I will ask her to file mental harassment against the company but I definitely will be taking this to consumer court .

                              I own a refrigerator 6 years old and stopped working recently. On complaining on toll -free they sent a local mechanic in the name of whirpool and he diagnosed some problem . After 10 days they say no spare parts and decided to repair it . after a few more days they come back and say now the problem is with compressor. Now its been 10 days they have taken the fridge and say still resolving. its been 28 days today.
                              The beauty of this is after many escalations a whirpool person has not yet called me even once. Only some local mechanics.
                              Their website has many escalations right upto Service head India / CEO . No replies to any mails . They are purely cheating customers promising great service.

                                      Service request 1 was closed without any intimation to me, and when I called back to get the status, I got the response that the request is closed as I declined payment, which is totally incorrect.
                                      When I requested a reopen of the same service request, I was notified that the service request can't be reopened and hence the 2nd request was raised.

                                      for the 2nd service request I was not contacted at all, with in 24 hrs as well, though the company guarantees a response in 2hrs and must visit with in 24hrs.(Absolutely wrong information over here : https://corporate.whirlpoolindia.com/discover/customer-care)

                                      One of the service request person from Sambalpur, Odisha visited sometime back and checked the machine, he informed me that the repair cost is 8000/-, after that I raised the service request and informed that my motor is under warranty of 10 years and could he provide me with the quotation for the repair. Henceforth he started ignoring my call and closed the request and the team is not responding any further.

                                      Now I got the response from @[protected]@whirlpool.com, that the TSP set was defective and need to be replaced and cost would be 7000 and as a goodwill gesture he wanted to waive off service charges(which I don't need) and I need to pay 6500/-.

                                      I am not sure what is the warranty period of the the part and is there a way I can check the price of the product in market.

                                      I checked multiple forum for the issue after warranty period for whirlpool, and everywhere it is recommended not to buy any product from whirlpool as it gives issue after warranty. Possibly its my mistake that I didn't believed the comments and bought a product from you.

                                      Hope you guys can take care of this issue and provide response to me properly.

                                      I would like to mention, Mr Deepak raj singh, called me and asking me to buy the insurance and get this repair covered with a copay of 80-20 %. I informed him already that this is not acceptable until and unless I get to know an action has been taken on the person who quoted wrongly and as well as the team who is supporting him.
                                      He seems to be rude and said there won;t be any further contact with me, if I am not accepting the option provided above.
                                      I would really like to know if this is the right way to handle a costumer, trying to push me to pay extra and trying to cover the company and asking me to ignore the complaint.

                                      I want complete details of the product with warranty to make decision, and I have every rights to know that.

                                      I didn't denied, but did not accepted the overpriced estimation for a cheap product. Do understand that you are asking me to pay more than 7000 for some parts with no warranty and can't expect that I will accept it.
                                      I paid 16000 already for the machine and spending again 7000 doesn't make sense.

                                      Stop cheating the customer and improvise your product quality as I am not the only customer who has raised the same query.

                                      Do work on your customer support team as well, who closes the complain without intimation and provide false updates and estimation.
                                      I really don't understand how you guys are surviving in the market with such cheap service and product.

                                      Do take suggestion seriously so that you can be better.
