I purchased Whirlpool washing machine on 26th June, 2020 from Croma. The washing machine has 2 years warranty and in a year on 29th June, 2021, I raised a complaint with Whirlpool as it was causing electric spark. The technician mentioned spark was due to water going inside the panel and he cleaned it. After 2 months, my maid god an electric shock again from teh machine. On complainoing on September 11, 2021 again, the same technician comes and gives teh same reason. The water should not enter inside the machine panel and yet the only resolution they are giving is taping the wire internally. Just taping the wire will eventually cause wear and tear causing electric current again. On asking to change the top panel, Whirlpool is denying and is asking to use Liquid detergent instead of powder detergent. But in the manual, it is clearly written usable for both powder and liquid detergent.
The technician does not get Job sheet to take our signature. They are forging the customer signature too.
Whirlpool India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
