I had purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator (375Cool Illusia 3S N (360)) on March 20, 2021 from Vijay Sales (India) Pvt. Ltd., Faridabad. The fridge had the issue of door misalignment that was duly reported by Whirlpool installation person. The fridge was also inspected by the Whirlpool representatives and they recommended a replacement.
The replacement fridge was received on April 10, 2021 and upon installation the same issue was observed in this unit too, also there were stains inside the freezer part of the unit. The door misalignment was noted in the report by the installation team and they assured they would review the matter again after 24 hours.
After more than 1.5 months of the purchase of a fridge, I still dont have a new, perfect unit that I had paid for, besides the constant follow up and calls that I have been making to Vijay sales for resolving the issue.
I have endured this harassment instead of enjoying my new purchase. The team at Whirlpool are unable to provide a solution to the problem, considering the fact that their so-called new unit has the same issues as the first one.
Also, the sales team is trying to persuade me accept the unit as it is and have refused to give me refund.
This has been a very disappointing experience indeed.
