I purchased a whirlpool ac 1.5t magicool elite pro 35 via amazon [serial number: chn[protected]] and it was installed on 11th march 2020. After using it for 3 months cooling is not happening at all.

I send my complaints e-mails to [protected]@whirlpool.com on 21 sep, 2020 & 23rd to [protected]@whirlpool.com. I don't even get any response for both mails.

After raising multiple complaints though customer care center then the service engineer visited my home and identified the issue as a gas leak. He refilled the gas and the complaint was resolved.

After one week of working, the same issue happened again. I started raising complaints [from 24 aug]. Finally, one service engineer visited home and confirmed that my ac is damaged equipment and needed replacement.

Till this date i have not received a replacement unit or updates from whirlpool team.

I want to share few points for other customers who are planning to buy whirlpool products.

1. My complaints through whirlpool customer care calls are closing without even calling/visiting/inspecting my unit.

2. Customer support team is not even care about any existing complaints, even i[censored]sers opted for an existing issue, they always open new tickets.

3. There is no point of contact for getting updates on complaints raised by customers. Even customer support team is blank.

4. As a customer i got frustrated by doing the follow up with nonprofessional service center people as well as inefficient customer care team from whirlpool.

    Hi,

    This complaint is regarding whirlpool washing machine pcb repair cost.

    I called the customer care number provided on washing machine and they have assigned some engineer. As my machine was not working, he checked the same and confirmed that there is a problem with pcb mother board and repair price is 3500/-, replacement price is 5800 /- and some times some random amount.

    Engineer who visited seems to be not an authorized executive.

    Team is cheating on middle class people.

      The washing machine is working fine. Unable to use it anymore. Have been complaining over call to the customer care number since more than a month but no one turned up. Everytime i call them they say that it will be resolved in 24 hours. But those 24 hours seems to be of a different planet because on earth it has been more than 24 hours.

        I paid the amc our online using your whirlpoolindiastore.com dated on july 18th, 2020. Invoice no. Inv-43713 and order no. Amc-43713, the washing machine. Later that month i registered for the maintenance over the phone and received the service request number vij[protected]. The technician came home to check the machine and started complaining that we should first intimate the service center before we could take the amc online and he said...

        I am getting calls on my number from their end for amc of washing machine for many months despite making them clear every time that i'm not interested in purchasing amc. But they keep on calling me every day, sometimes twice from various numbers, unnecessarily and shamelessly.

          I have one and half year old refrigerator and compressor was damaged. After contacting whirlpool india service. The person visited my house and mentioned compressor needs to be replaced and charge 410 rs. Compressor have warranty period of 10 years. So I thought it would be zero cost replacement. But after replacement they charged 2849 for gas charge. Now this gas is R-600a godrej refrigerant which have M.R.P 650 and same they used while filling. Now they have already took service charge of 410. what they have charged remaining 2439 ? Are they allowed to charge more than M.R.P of items ? I already observed similar issue in this forum in 2015 but still same behavior from whirlpool India.

            Dear sir / madam,
            I am writing this letter to you to bring to your attention the extreme inconvenience caused to me since the day i have lodged complaint of my fridge on customer care of your company.
            In jan 2020 i lodged a complaint on customer care for which i have not got any response from your team even after long follow-up by me. After 31st march 2020 as informed by customer care my complaint status is null due to fy closing. I don’t know how you can make unresolved complaint as null.
            I again lodged a complaint on your customer care and this time technician assigned. On his visit he stated that timer and bi metal of fridge are not working hence water leakage problem. I asked him to replace the parts. Even after replacing the parts problem not solved. After follow-up new technician has come and informed the heater is not working so he has to replace the heater. Even after replacement of heater problem not solved. It shows that all original parts of fridge working fine (Since purchase of machine)
            There was replacement of almost all the major parts in the machine done by the engineer of the company and even though they were not able to detect the problem in the machine.
            After posting on social media your mr. Rajeev gandhi contacted me and assured for rectification of problem. He also initiated refund of parts, but it was not my requirement. Same i have communicated to him that i want to resolve my problem.
            Now i have to make purchase of the new machine as told by mr. Rajeev gandhi as spare parts are not available.
            The machine was purchased by me with great faith in the brand name.
            The entire episode has left me in a bitter taste and i am extremely disappointed with your pathetic services. I have been facing lot of mental stress and agony due to this incident and after making several requests to your company officials no positive response is being forwarded to me. With a great hope and strong faith in your brand name i had availed the service of your company but to my disgrace i have been facing the worst.
            As a consequence of your deficient service and the repeated incompetency displayed by your employees, i have suffered undue hardship and mental frustration. I would like to emphasize that:
            • you have been grossly negligent in resolving my complaint.
            • i have undergone a lot of extreme stress and mental agony because of your deficient service.

              Whirlpool washing machine not working last 1 month

              On 24.03.2019 i bought a whirlpool washing machine 360 bloomwash pro h graphite 7.5 kg vide bill number 301-r-sft2748. I made this purchase at vijay sales.

              Unfortunately your product has not performed well due to its voltage fluctuation error.

              We raised our 1st complaint with your customer center on 27th july 2020. Which were automatically closed because of the weekend. We raised a complaint again on 04.08.2020...

              The washing machine has been troubling me for the past 3 months. The model no., bill etc are attached. I have registered several complaints with sargam electronics, whirlpool corporation, but they only give false assurances. Whirlpool products are not worth buying. Never buy a whirlpool washing machine. They make false claims of 1 day service. The service centers are also thugs who will charge you rs.500 for visit and then for every problem they will tell you to give the machine to workshop.

              My machine is under 3 years comprehensive warranty and it has been only 1 year since i purchased my machine but it malfunctions very frequently. The present problem is about blinking of voltage fluctuation light. But the voltage is absolutely fine as all other appliances like refrigerator, air conditioner are working.

              I am feeling cheated.

                Charging for repair of part under warranty

                I am very sorry to tell you about my after sale service experience with whirlpool appliances. It is the worst experience of my life with any reputed or local company.                 I purchased my whirlpool washing machine almost 8 years back. I was told this is the best washing machine stainwash ultra toploading 7.2 kg. We logged last complain ban[protected] in somewhere in june 2020. Technician visited when amc expired and fix everything. Washing machine works for one month and again started making sound. We logged the case ban[protected] on 7th september, technician visited on 7th itself and told since this is some gear problem other technician will visit. From that moment i am calling service center number [protected], she is not picking up the phone. Called customer care number, they just gave me email id [protected]@whirlpool.com which no one monitor. It has been since one week since someone has to visit. Pathetic piece of service by whirlpool. I will never recommend anyone to buy this

                  I have purchased an 3 door refrigerator in april 19. Which stop working in sep 20. I made complaint on 3rd sep 2020. An enginer come and took money from me by showing gas problem bit it still not worked, then other engineer came and he said compressure is not working which is under warranty and now they are not taking this seriously as its under warranty. I have already paid 1850/- rs for gas filling which is due to compressur failure.
                  Third class product and worst service i had ever seen.
                  Never suggest to anybody for whirlpool product.
                  And whirlpool not having their own engineers they have third party engineers i suggest you not to call on whirlpool customer care call ur local engineer as they will do better than whirlpool engineers.
                  Ruined my time and money.

                    We bought a Whirlpool 360 top loader about 5 years back from a dealer in Irinjnalakuda. A few days back it started making some noise and today it stopped working and started showing some error. So we rang up the dealer and reported the issue. The dealer sent a guy and he inspected the washing machine.

                    He found that dirt has accumulated inside the machine and all over some machine parts. He said that we should have cleaned it ever 3 months or so with a powder that the service people showed us when they came to show us the "demo". We told him that no one who came to show us the "demo" ever told us this could happen and to use 'this kind' of powder to clean the machine.

                    So this is my complaint: these service people withheld information from us. If they had warned us such a thing could happen or told us to use 'this kind of' powder to clean the washing machine every 3 months or so, this wouldn't have happened.

                    Now, 5 years later we are stuck with an estimated cost of Rs.5500 for repair and service .

                      Hi,

                      I ordered an ac at amazon on 7th september 2019 and installation done on 12.09.2019.

                      Since the installation done, i complained 4 times in customer care for the air conditioner issues and problems but it didn't solve and the one more complaint i did on last month for the same product problem (Sound issue and now it is cooling issue and f9 code) but i still there.

                      Last complaint i didn't close for the same quality problem, but company technician closed the complaint itself and when i try to contact him he didn't response the call.

                      The problems are continue since i bought this air conditioner.

                      I want to change the product or amount refund back to resolve it.

                        Hi, my whirlpool fully automatic washing machine suddenly stopped working last week. I called customer care and they sent service engineer next day. After looking at machine, Service engineer he did machines control panel unit needs replacement and it will cost 4200/-. As there was no time otherwise I will have to pay him visiting charges hence I agree to change it. In addition he also charged me visiting charges Rs. 450/-. This is looting by Whirlpool as normally visiting charges are not applied if we take the services.
                        I have two complaints here
                        1. This is second time part being changed in last 4 years and there is no warranty. Also it's too costly.
                        2. Why visiting charges are applied when I agree to change the part.

                          I have a whirlpool washing machine top load fully automatic bought 3 years back. The product is out of warranty and recently my spin tub was making noise. I raised a complaint to whirlpool service centre and they sent a representative to check and told me that tsp mechanism will be replaced which will be Rs 6500. He further told me that without plastics parts I should pay (Rs 5000) exclusive of visit charges if the same are found to be ok. When i asked him if i will get a proper bill he told me yes. I got the thing repaired but when I asked for the breakup he did not provided me the bill and told the parts are worth 5000 only. If a person is going for replacement with a brand it should give proper breakup’s of the parts I could see the Mrp on gear box which was 1500 only Rest 2 parts are metal only (Put on both sides of drum for support which should not be more than 500 Rs. The same thing i checked on Urban clap the price of whole mechanism was Rs 3900 (i.e Rs 2400 without plastic parts) I feel cheated

                            I had purchased whirlpool a/c 1.5 tom from kannakandy fridge centre, perinthalmanna on 12 april 2009.in the year 2020 earlier in feb /march i had complained to kannankandy to send a service agent to check my a/c, its not cooling. The service agent came and told that the gas is leaking and need to be closed and refilled so as to reinstate cooling. He charged rs.3500/- and told if anything happens can call him. I called him after 4 days as it was not cooling, the agent told will come and see. Till date no one came and the condition of the air conditioner is the same. I request you to see what exactly is the problem and also to see that the service agents entrusted by the company are trustworthy

                              The issue that i have experienced was: we are in annual maintainence contract. We have been trying to get our problem of candle replacement and leakage problem for whirlpool water filter. Repeatedly the bangalore agency i. E. Max serve solutions pvt ltd is giving pathetic service. First they say candle not in stock and then they are sending different technician and we have explain and start all over again with every new technician. Finally after calling whirlpool customer care gurgaon centre again and again and to my amazement they said complaint no doesn't exist in the database even though i have got a msg on phone after registering it.
                              Again after going through whole process and requesting an escalation, finally a new complaint was lodged and gurgaon customer support informed the bangalore authorized centre who sent a technician who again says the particular part which is giving problem is not in stock. My question to them was simple, why are you charging rs 4599 as amc charges if you say part is not in stock...
                              Iam still in shock as the local bangalore centre guy shivu was 100% rude and unprofessional and is saying our job is not searching for your previous complaints.
                              This is the worst ever customer nightmare that could happen as they charge amc on time but still candle is not replaced and leakage problem not solved.
                              The final result of all this is we are left with no water from purifier as it is still not working though we have paid amc on time.
                              I want this escalated to the highest level in whirlpool for this kind of pathetic service and if not i want help from ombudsman as last resort before going to consumer court.
                              Kindly help me.

                              Send a technician and teach some basic courtesy and professionalism as the bangalore service centre i. E. Max serve solutions pvt ltd is quite incapable of handling your customer queries and whirlpool is loosing reputation as a brand due to these incompetent and pathetic service. On top of that this man shivu who claims to be a manager from max serve solutions pvt ltd is doing quite a unprofessional job and is rude over phone saying it is not his job to look into my previous complaints even after insisting that we have been trying to reach you people from may just for a candle replacement.

                              I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

                                I've purchased amc for my refrigerator from whirlpool online. And the amc team just sent me the payment link and i paid it on august 1 2020. But now the service center is telling that you machine wasn't working and all so we cannot accept amc claim. Then why did they even sell it to me? I want a refund of my amc. Call. Me on [protected]

                                  I have purchased fully automatic Washing Machine on dated 21.08.2020 but till date my complaint I.D.No. 2704039 .We have been suggested use only Company 's Branded product but after sale service .we don't find that company is Customer oriented as 17 days are passed but no parts are supplied as booked by the Company's authorized Service provider .

                                  Please reopen the above complaint I.d.& fulfill the commitment as company is liable to provide very essential services after sale which are abide by company Rules & Regulation
