Whirlpool Refrigerator stopped cooling and called on customer care. The technician who came home has levied high charges of Rs 3850 +350 initially and after calling the customer support for the exact charges they tried to manage by saying server is down. Meanwhile they called he same technician and enquired him the charge he told us. when I called back customer care they keep me on wait and told Rs3850. On web the gas filling charge is only 700 max.It was work of half an hour and heavy charges levied.

    I bought Whirlpool Fridge from Bajaj Electronics but after 6 Months it started leaking from Backside
    I complaint to Whirlpool service centre, they sent the executive at my home who just changed the temperature from inside but again after 2 days as same thing happened
    To which I called the same executive, he said joint one pipe on backside of your fridge and leave it to the drain
    It was shocking to hear this from such a reputed company executive like this
    I want ur company (Bajaj Electronics) to replace from Fridge

      Refrigerator was over cooling. Technician from Balaji service center visited on 30/sep/2020 after raising service request at Whirlpool customer care. We were charged Rs. 8200 to solve the issue. But after 2 days we found that the overcooling issue was not solved. The same technician not answering the phone. For more than 10 days we have been trying to have him visit again to solve the issue. Technician not answering phone anymore. Customer care also just promises that technician will visit.

        HI,

        Purchased Whirlpool washing machine on Flipkart - 7th Nov 2016 which has Warranty 2Yaers on Product and 10 Years on Motor & Prime Mover. From that getting noise (like AUTO) on while washing, complained 2-3 times and service person came and said its common on these machines, recently again complained and the person came and said need to replace Gear box which is cost around 6000. Why that person didn't said about gear box issue under warranty period?

        Since 1week again complained but there is no response from Whirlpool.

            Hi,
            We have purchased a refrigerator in the month of february 2020, but we received the display model which had so many scratches, we filled a complaint to whirlpool after which they have agreed upon replacement which took like more than 3 months. We requested them to provide us a different model (Bigger size 360 litres which was available in stock). We agreed to pay the difference amount of the bigger variant which was 6500rs. We have been contacting sunder from whirlpool india for the delivery of the fridge. We have made the payment of the difference amount on 28th sept. But still, till today haven't received the product. Whenever we follow up with sunder he keeps saying that the fridge will be delivered by tomorrow. But we haven't received it yet. It is almost 9 months we have been following for the replacement of our fridge and we haven't received it yet. Please take immediate action against this careless behavior, we cant follow up each and every day for this. It is already been 9 months since we are waiting.

              Dear Team,
              As per request your technician visit my home last week and change
              some heater and all in the refrigerator.
              In meanwhile the heater is short due to some technical issues and whole
              unit catch up the fire.Its a accident comes in front of your technician
              we control the fire and your technician click the photos and told
              me that he will sent proofs to whirpool India and issue will resolved in next 48 hours.
              Since last thrusday regularly i calling to nearest service station and daily
              they are saying that no response came from Whirpool India.
              The refrigrator already covered in AMC its copy is attached with the mail.
              As per my belief it is a manufacturing default from Whirlpool.
              In this case they should change the whole unit.
              Refrigerator is essential part of any family i hope no one can afford
              the daily loss of milk and all other essential things.
              Its creating a huge harassment in day to day life.
              I request to the team please expedite the matter accordingly.
              It is creating serious problems to the customer end. Brand is also
              hampered due to these kind of service.

                I purchased Whirlpool top load washing machine in February 2015 but the same is has fault from very beginning. In guarantee period many times service has been made by company but despite repeated requests they did not change the same ans ultimately in warranty period they charge fee morethan 400 but problem is there I got lots harrassment but still despite warranty period the machine is not working. My problem is not solve till date. It's very bsb washing machine and high cost. About 29000/-

                    I purchased a whirlpool ac 1.5t magicool elite pro 35 via amazon [serial number: chn[protected]] and it was installed on 11th march 2020. After using it for 3 months cooling is not happening at all.

                    I send my complaints e-mails to [protected]@whirlpool.com on 21 sep, 2020 & 23rd to [protected]@whirlpool.com. I don't even get any response for both mails.

                    After raising multiple complaints though customer care center then the service engineer visited my home and identified the issue as a gas leak. He refilled the gas and the complaint was resolved.

                    After one week of working, the same issue happened again. I started raising complaints [from 24 aug]. Finally, one service engineer visited home and confirmed that my ac is damaged equipment and needed replacement.

                    Till this date i have not received a replacement unit or updates from whirlpool team.

                    I want to share few points for other customers who are planning to buy whirlpool products.

                    1. My complaints through whirlpool customer care calls are closing without even calling/visiting/inspecting my unit.

                    2. Customer support team is not even care about any existing complaints, even i[censored]sers opted for an existing issue, they always open new tickets.

                    3. There is no point of contact for getting updates on complaints raised by customers. Even customer support team is blank.

                    4. As a customer i got frustrated by doing the follow up with nonprofessional service center people as well as inefficient customer care team from whirlpool.

                    Here are few of the tickets raised by me on the same complaint – till now not resolved,

                      Hi,

                      This complaint is regarding whirlpool washing machine pcb repair cost.

                      I called the customer care number provided on washing machine and they have assigned some engineer. As my machine was not working, he checked the same and confirmed that there is a problem with pcb mother board and repair price is 3500/-, replacement price is 5800 /- and some times some random amount.

                      Engineer who visited seems to be not an authorized executive.

                      Team is cheating on middle class people.

                        The washing machine is working fine. Unable to use it anymore. Have been complaining over call to the customer care number since more than a month but no one turned up. Everytime i call them they say that it will be resolved in 24 hours. But those 24 hours seems to be of a different planet because on earth it has been more than 24 hours.

                            I have one and half year old refrigerator and compressor was damaged. After contacting whirlpool india service. The person visited my house and mentioned compressor needs to be replaced and charge 410 rs. Compressor have warranty period of 10 years. So I thought it would be zero cost replacement. But after replacement they charged 2849 for gas charge. Now this gas is R-600a godrej refrigerant which have M.R.P 650 and same they used while filling. Now they have already took service charge of 410. what they have charged remaining 2439 ? Are they allowed to charge more than M.R.P of items ? I already observed similar issue in this forum in 2015 but still same behavior from whirlpool India.

                              Dear sir / madam,
                              I am writing this letter to you to bring to your attention the extreme inconvenience caused to me since the day i have lodged complaint of my fridge on customer care of your company.
                              In jan 2020 i lodged a complaint on customer care for which i have not got any response from your team even after long follow-up by me. After 31st march 2020 as informed by customer care my complaint status is null due to fy closing. I don’t know how you can make unresolved complaint as null.
                              I again lodged a complaint on your customer care and this time technician assigned. On his visit he stated that timer and bi metal of fridge are not working hence water leakage problem. I asked him to replace the parts. Even after replacing the parts problem not solved. After follow-up new technician has come and informed the heater is not working so he has to replace the heater. Even after replacement of heater problem not solved. It shows that all original parts of fridge working fine (Since purchase of machine)
                              There was replacement of almost all the major parts in the machine done by the engineer of the company and even though they were not able to detect the problem in the machine.
                              After posting on social media your mr. Rajeev gandhi contacted me and assured for rectification of problem. He also initiated refund of parts, but it was not my requirement. Same i have communicated to him that i want to resolve my problem.
                              Now i have to make purchase of the new machine as told by mr. Rajeev gandhi as spare parts are not available.
                              The machine was purchased by me with great faith in the brand name.
                              The entire episode has left me in a bitter taste and i am extremely disappointed with your pathetic services. I have been facing lot of mental stress and agony due to this incident and after making several requests to your company officials no positive response is being forwarded to me. With a great hope and strong faith in your brand name i had availed the service of your company but to my disgrace i have been facing the worst.
                              As a consequence of your deficient service and the repeated incompetency displayed by your employees, i have suffered undue hardship and mental frustration. I would like to emphasize that:
                              • you have been grossly negligent in resolving my complaint.

                                Whirlpool washing machine not working last 1 month

                                On 24.03.2019 i bought a whirlpool washing machine 360 bloomwash pro h graphite 7.5 kg vide bill number 301-r-sft2748. I made this purchase at vijay sales.

                                Unfortunately your product has not performed well due to its voltage fluctuation error.

                                We raised our 1st complaint with your customer center on 27th july 2020. Which were automatically closed because of the weekend. We raised a complaint again on 04.08.2020...

                                The washing machine has been troubling me for the past 3 months. The model no., bill etc are attached. I have registered several complaints with sargam electronics, whirlpool corporation, but they only give false assurances. Whirlpool products are not worth buying. Never buy a whirlpool washing machine. They make false claims of 1 day service. The service centers are also thugs who will charge you rs.500 for visit and then for every problem they will tell you to give the machine to workshop.

                                My machine is under 3 years comprehensive warranty and it has been only 1 year since i purchased my machine but it malfunctions very frequently. The present problem is about blinking of voltage fluctuation light. But the voltage is absolutely fine as all other appliances like refrigerator, air conditioner are working.

                                I am feeling cheated.

                                  I purchased my whirlpool washing machine almost 8 years back. I was told this is the best washing machine stainwash ultra toploading 7.2 kg. We logged last complain ban[protected] in somewhere in june 2020. Technician visited when amc expired and fix everything. Washing machine works for one month and again started making sound. We logged the case ban[protected] on 7th september, technician visited on 7th itself and told since this is some gear problem other technician will visit. From that moment i am calling service center number [protected], she is not picking up the phone. Called customer care number, they just gave me email id [protected]@whirlpool.com which no one monitor. It has been since one week since someone has to visit. Pathetic piece of service by whirlpool.
