I logged a complaint regarding my dishwasher in april 2019 as the water was not getting heated and the dishes were not cleaned. The technician, after a number of trial and error attempts with changing one part after the other, finally got it working on 02 june 2019 after charging me rs. 8, 500 for the mother board that was changed. But unfortunately, the machine worked only once after that. I again logged in a complaint on 26 june 2019 and the same is still being serviced by whirlpool.

What is most appalling is the quality of service by whirlpool. Apart from several hitches with just registering the complaint, i did not even once get an sms confirming the registration of the complaint with complaint number from the call centre. I had to call them back to know my complaint number.
The machine was installed at my flat in 2015 by whirlpool at a time even while this model was no more in the market. The legality of installing an appliance that is no longer being marketed is highly questionable. The machine does not bear the model number anywhere on its body. It only has the whirlpool logo on it.

Another shocking fact is that there is only one technician to attends to complaints concerning this appliance. The technician does not know what is wrong with the machine. He tries calling up seniors and getting suggestions from them.

It has been six months since my first complaint and so far the machine has worked only once soon after one of the parts was replaced for a charge of rs.8500/-. The technician keeps telling me that he will try doing something about it or refund the service charges but so far has failed to turn up or fund my charges. The last he spoke to me was on 17.08.2019. He now simply ignores my calls.

It is very disappointing to face such a situation with a brand like whirlpool.
I request that this complaint be taken on top priority and ensured that i am duly compensated for the inconvenience and agony caused in this regard.
Only replacement with a working model that is still being marketed in india would be a befitting resolution to all that i have been through in this regard.

After much effort, the technicians were unable to find the cause of the problem of the water not heating up in my dishwasher. This is totally unexpected of a brand like Whirlpool, many appliances of which I have been using for years and never had such an experience.

I request a replacement of my appliance, free of cost, as it is hardly three years since the machine was installed. Only a replacement with a machine in good working condition would restore my trust with Whirlpool.

    मैने अप्रैल में फ्रीज खरीद था। मेरे रेफ्रिजरेटर में मनुफैक्टरिंग डिफेक्ट था। मेंने कंपलेंट की चार बार की । पहले बोले इसमे सेंसर खराब फिर सेंसर चेंज किया फिर भी ठीक नही हुआ। फिर बोले अभी कंपनी के हेड इंजीनियर के पास भेजा है । जिसके लिए सर्विस इंजीनीयर ने प्रोडक्ट रिप्लेस का बोला । फिर वापस इंजीनीयर ने बोला ये मॉडल बंद हो गया है आपको नया इन्वर्टर मॉडल मिलेगा जिसके लिए आपको ₹7000 डिफरेन्स अमाउंट देना होगा। फिर बोले ये ग्रेडेड है हम नही बदल सकते। आप डीलर को बोले हम कोई गारंटी वारंटी नही लें सकते। हमने फिर मेल किया कि फ्रिज पर सीरियल नंबर वगेरह सब है फिर ग्रेडेड केसे है। और पूछा कि
    और रही बात फ्रिज के ग्रेडेड या लॉट के माल की तो अगर ये ग्रेडेड है तो :-
    1) ये आपके यहाँ रजिस्टर्ड कैसे हुआ?
    2) आपने 3 बार सर्विस कैसे दी?
    3) आपने इसको ठीक करने के लिए पार्ट क्यों बदले?
    4) आपने हमको लिखित में मेल क्यों भेजा है कि नई मॉडल आपको देंगे?
    5) ग्रेडेड है तो आपने इसकी रिप्लेसीमेंट की रिक्वेस्ट क्यों ली?

      split ac issue - inefficient service centre

      I purchased whirlpool 3d cool in september 2017.
      Within a year gas leaked twice and also indoor unit got water blockage twice.

      During first year warranty engineer came and do some temporary fixes like gas top-up and clean pipes. They never investigated the problem properly.

      On october 2018 just a month after warranty expired same problem occurred, gas leaked and water block. This time engineer said that...

      Hi team, i have noticed in saharanpur (U. P.) that the prices of refrigerators are different with the authorized dealer and on company website.

      I have mailed the product code #71438 to the company website to know the exect price of the product but no result. After that i have mentioned the product code #71438 to know the price on companies twitter account but no resolution from there.

      Why not body is telling the price of the mentioned product???

      How the authorized dealer can sell the product beyond the company price as the same product the dealer is selling in rs. 12500 and the company mentioned the price rs. 11990 on company website.

        Hello,
        Its been more than 2-3 months since my refrigerator issue have not been resolved. I have registered my complaint 2 months ago. After me making calls to whirlpool customer care daily, it was graceful enough to arrange a visit. The mechanic who visited us, after analyzing the refrigerator said that a particular part need to be replaced. we agreed and he replaced that part but it didn't work out and my refrigerator was still not working. Again while i made the complaint, i didn't not receive a response from the whirlpool. again and again i kept on making calls and finally whirlpool was gracious enough to arrange a visit again. The mechanic was not able to figure out what the problem were with my refrigerator. After taking my refrigerator to their service center he told us that "some parts have been damaged and needs replacement. But the problem is Whirlpool have stopped manufacturing triple door refrigerator due to which parts can't be arranged. Hence, you'll have to buy a new refrigerator."

        Please look into the matter and either make that particular part arranged or replace the refrigerator with a new one. Its not the customer who needs to be suffered always for the doings of the company. why should a customer suffer if the company have stopped manufacturing ?

They gave me a time no one turns up and then after several calls all that i am told is "i am sorry"and that the technician can come the next day only. Pathetic service. Would not recommend ever!!             Sir i am request to you that kindly provide new refrigerator as this has made become faulty just within 8 months.

            I had brought this refrigerator because of whirlpool brand but today brand disappoint me.

              Hi Sir, I am writing this email with full grief and i am really hoping for a expedited resolution. I have had puchased Whirlpool 7.5 kg Fully Automatic Top Load Washing Machine Grey Warranty: 2 Years Comprehensive Warranty and 10 Years Warranty on Motor and Prime Mover from Whirlpool 1. [IMEI/Serial No:[protected] ] CGST: 9.000 % SGST/UTGST: 9.00 From Flipkart on 10th August 2019. It was promised thatthe product will be installed within 24-48hours of the delivery, to which its already12-14 days have passed with no updates on installation. I was sent a message from Flipkart thatthe product has been successfully installed which is really shocking and completely a false statement. When i contacted customer care of Flipmart they promised to resolve this with in 24hours to ehich already atleast 240hours (10days) have been passed. The Service centre of whirlpool at Jind, Haryana-126102 is a fake service centre that keeps on promising manythings and when ut comes to delivery they dont have anything. It is really emabarrassing fir my aged parents to get the clothes washed at our neighbour's house and sometimes with hands which is really painful for me to see. No one else is getting impacted as a result of this other than mr and myfamily and hence i request you to help me out here. I am looking forwars to have a decent compensation from seller/flipkart/whirpool/service centre/all and a written warning issues to them so thatit doesnot get repeat with some other person.                   I purchased a top loading whirlpool fully automatic washing machine in april 2017.
                  It worked well for two years as mentioned in the warranty. But from the last month there was a heavy sound in the spin tub while rinsing and spinning.
                  I lodged a complaint in whirlpool customer center and provided me customer complain no kl[protected] and said that two year warranty period was over so inspection charge will be rs 470/-. I accepted it and their person came to our home and checked the machine and confirmed that the sound is due to the bearing problem. And also said barring must be replaced. And said the cost is rs 7000/- that also comes with only 2 months warranty. On hearing this i was shocked because machine was not used much actually i think top loading whirlpool washing machines are not good and have a bad track record and people should not buy it because replacement of spare part is very costly and there after sales service is also not good because they out sourced service to third parties and there only motive is to extract as much money as possible. Please dont buy whirlpool washing machine.

                      I had purchased a refrigerator 3 months back and it has stopped working since 1 week. Technician visited last wednesday and part will take 2 days it’s been a week since complain has been launched and no one has been able to update or commit timelines on when will the repair happen.                       Whirlpool customer service are very bad. mera freeze me ice cream nhi jam rha. 2 bar customer service wala aaya but wo bolta hai mujhe nhi pta ki kyu nhi jam rha ice cream, ye log support nh krte bhut hi bekar hai inka bas preshan kr rhe. please take necessary action for this matter.

                        No response/rectification from whirlpool towards complaint no:CO[protected]
                        Ur team doesnt respond to the email(4 mails sent) and after complaining to ur tel support, i got acknowledgement with customary wordings "forwarded appliance concern to our concerned department".
                        My first complaint towards the refrigerator was raised on 23-Jul-2019.

                        wrt above complaint number, im not satisfied with the service support i received from u by Mr.Shamjith & Mr Abid.
                        As it is under warranty neither whirlpool nor ur agents are willing/replying to resolve the issue. Ultimately, being end user, im suffering and need to suffer until the product is in my hand.
                        ur 2 technician visited my house within span of 2weeks.

                        1)Mr.Shamjith stated he needs photo evidence to take up matter to head office. No response later
                        2) Mr.Abid states its first time he is encountering such issue and doesnt know how to handle it. He said will inform head office. No response until now.

                        Im not using refrigerator first time. i have seen various company models used by my family.

                        But, its a bitter experience with ur new product. im facing the problem since last 2 months that - oranges, chillies, cluster beans, red string beans, bitter gourd, scraped coconut, chappathi atta got fungus infection/spoiled.

                        you state that ur product has 7days of garden fresh, but it's not so. If vegetable had to be consumed within 2 days, then no need to spend so much of money for refrigerator.

                        U need to resolve the problem when the product is under warranty.
                        As per my observation, it seems there is a serious problem with this unit, i need replacement of the product or compensation of Rs.50000( for the unit price, the products which got spoiled by using your refrigirator and my time spend each and every time raising complaint and waiting in home for technician to come and rectify issues)

                        After much help from consumer complaint and other complaint forum and regular contacts and takeup with whirlpool, And after 3 months of lodging complaint, problem has been solved with new refrigerator after payment of additional money. Thanks for all who worked in back end to solve the issue.

                        Your technician Mr.Abid and Mr.Ashik visited home on 21-Aug-2019 at 1630hr. took temperature readings and assured that on 24-Aug-2019, I will get reply from whirlpool. I didnt receive yet.
                        Please find attached picture's of fungus/mold formation in Bitter gourd bought on 22-Aug-2019(highlighted in red circle). Today is 24-Aug-2019, within 2 days, my vegetables are getting fungus/mold by keeping in the fridge. It is a serious concern form me, need a firm resolution for my issue.

                        as per your mail and call on 24/august/2019 "are arranging the required part which needs to be replace in your you informed on 24-Aug-2019 that "arranging the required part which needs to be replace in my appliance is not available with concern service partner as of now. However, we are arranging the same on priority basis from branch. Hence, request you to kindly provide us 1-2 working days time to carry out necessary part replacement".
                        Today is 31st august, still now no one from your team has came to replace required part. The vegetables kept in your refrigerators getting unusable day by day, Request you to replace the refrigerator as i cant go forward with ur pathetic/unethical service.

                        ur technician Mr.Abid visited home today at 1600hr. dismantled back side of refrigerator as seen in attached picture, then realised wrong spare part is supplied by whirlpool head office. attached herewith the spare he brought.
                        u are wasting our valuable time since 23-Jul-2019. its more than a month, yet our issue is not resolved. Technician doesnt know when he will receive the correct spare part.
                        Be diligent and provide a prompt solution for the trouble.

                        Pooja called and informed that my appliance will be replaced from ur end and as per her request, I sent the copy of invoice on 04-Sep-19, until now there is no prompt solution from ur end.
                        A person named Mr.Tony, said will call back on[protected], and the person is missing from action even after I call him back.
                        As u said to me on 04-Sep-2019, that u are replacing my appliance, my following requirement has to be met for replacement:
                        1) We spend lot of time in finalizing the refrigerator to be purchased and trusted ur brand for trouble free appliance usage. But it doesn’t seems so.
                        2) The present appliance in my hand was MRP Rs.32500 at the time of purchase, so the replacement refrigerator has to be equivalent product of mentioned MRP.
                        3) The replacement appliance has to be intellifresh, intellisense inverter technology, flower graphics, 4 star and 265 gross volume.

                        Be prompt in resolving the issue ASAP, as u r killing time and prolonging.

                        2) I have written clearly in the email and as well as informed "POOJA" by telephone on 12-Sep-2019 morning, yet u reply stating that u cant provide my preferred model as replacement.
                        3) FP 283D PROTTON ROY ALPHA STEEL (N) - In Dec'2018, I was getting for Rs.22000, yet I didnt like the model in december 2018. today u are offering the same model and I have to pay Rs.1000 too for replacement. Is it fare? U and Mr.Tony i[censored] were facing this issue will u opt for a very old model and pay additional amount of Rs.1000

                        as per ur below mail, technician did not visit nor called on 13-Sep-2019. Instead visited today.
                        1) the spare pcb is wrong one again(3S) and is not the same spare of my model. also technician brought it loose packing, without sealing cover.(photo attached)
                        2) the sensor which he brought is old without any tag whereas my appliance sensor is having the tag.(photo attached)
                        3) ur technician has broken the parts of the freezer section which is evident from the photo attached.
                        Being said so, i[censored] are repairing my refrigerator, following things has to be complied:1) the replacement spare has to be same product, in an original packing.2) this is second time u r opening my refrigerator, dismantling and damaging with wrong spares, if this is how u mean servicing/rectifying the issue by whirlpool technician, then i request u to replace me with a new fridge without damaging further. As this model is not an old model of whirlpool u still can arrange same replacement model.

                        i can clearly see that u are just buying time and wasting my warranty service, and its evident u just want to close the case by providing unmatched spares and deceiving customer.

                        After much help from consumer complaint and other complaint forum and regular contacts and takeup with whirlpool, And after 3 months of lodging complaint, problem has been solved with new refrigerator after payment of additional money.
                        Thanks for all who worked in backend to solve the issue.

                          On 05/07/2019 i request for a service regarding water leakage & loud much noise to the customer care of whirlpool vide complaint no.co [protected] and suddenly on the same day itself the technician of whirlpool (Hi-tech solutions whirlpool authorised service centre tc 16/1561 (6) nr. Ananthapuri auditorium jagathy thycaud p o trivandrum-14 ph:[protected], 2327542 mob: [protected] email: hitech. [protected]@yahoo.co.in) arrived and inspected the machine and identified that the bearing of the device got damaged and need to replace the same & told that he has to take this machine to our service centre and charged a visiting charge of rs.472/-after 2 days they took the machine to their service centre. It is been 10 days but no update. Whenever i called service centre, they say part is not available. On 16/07/2019 i request another complaint regarding the delay in delivery (Complaint no.co [protected]) on 17/07/2019 i received the machine and charged a sum of rs.4500/- and the invoice is only for rs.3800/- & rs.700/- as transporting charge without a bill for 8 kms from my home. And i noticed that the product delivered is damaged. I sent my product in good condition but it is damage in return. Another complaint done complaint no.co [protected], but no response from their side. I kindly request for replacement of damage product & issue a gst invoice for transporting charge which they have charged from me with out bill.

                            I have purshased one washing machine 3 yrs ago... Till then this machine goes to service center 3-4 times... Its gear box was replaced under warrenty then again its gear box & motor was damaged & replaced which cost me 8250 inr on 9-aug-19 from authorised service center (Jmd service center pooth kalan, rohini) with service request no - dl[protected].. These service persons are so irresponsible & non professionals that they took money in advance before repairing & then kept my machine infront of my door after repair when no body was in the house without even informing us.. The machine has ton's of scratches & when we started it - it has the big sound coming while washing, on complaing to the same person they assured us to send the serviceman for repairing but till now nobody has came to our house - also nobody is picking our phones.

                            We are very much frustuated with the product as it always need repair & the service is also worst as we paid 8250 rs but still our machine is not in a running condition.. This is a big amount to us but you people are making fool of others, i will not recomend this to anybody... Pls contact me if there is any senior/responsible person in this group..

                                I bought this refrigerator on 15 aug 19. I visited the retailer and asked him to show the refrigerator to me once to check for any dents/ scratches. He said that its a brand new sealed pack and there is no need to check it. While installing it at my house i found multiple deep scratches and small dents on the edges of the freezer compartment door. Also there was a broken small piece of plastic inside the crispers, which i could not relate to any internal breakage. I called up the retailer who said that he would do all the needful to get it rectified/ replaced. Till now nothing has come up from his side, not even a call! I also called up the customer care and they said that their engineer would call me up within two hours. Twenty hours have passed but there is no response. Its disheartening to hear such blatant lies again n' again. A speedy answer to this issue will be appreciated.

                                  I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator (If inv 355 elt 4s/340l ref-caviar black) on 28th may. Upon delivery, the whirpool person found a dent at the back. He raised a request for a replacement. However, after several conversations, the company failed to provide us with a replacement, so we opted for a refund.

                                  As per the customer care, the refund should be credited to my account within 45 days from the processing date.
                                  The service centre people say that the refund was processed on 17th june, but till now, i have not received my refund although its exactly 2 months today

                                  The service centre people are too arrogant and keeps on disconnecting my calls. I am extremely unhappy with whirlpool. We trusted whirlpool, but it seems that we made a great mistake by purchasing their product.

                                  Too much dissatisfied.. Will never recommend anyone about the rand.

                                  Please help me to get my refund back.

                                  What is the update on my refund status? I got an email(on 20.08.2019) that it will take another 25-30 days for the refund to get processed .

                                  After that, no one even bothered to contact whether the refund is yet processed or how much time it will take to get reflected in my bank account ..

                                  Is this the way you treat your customer?? Have we done a mistake by purchasing your product??

                                  We were previously told that the refund takes 45-50 days to get processed . On the 65th day, your support executive calls and tells me that the refund was stuck at some approval level which he is unable to share because of 'Company policy'..

                                  So, does your 'Company Policy' states to fool your customer like this?? Why was I not intimated on time that my refund is stuck ?? Why did I have to make hundreds of phone calls and log register in this platform to come to know that it will take another 30 days to get processed ??

                                  I need an ETA as when the money will get refunded to my account

                                    I registered a complaint with whirlpool on 5th aug for my single door whirlpool refrigerator which i bought from flipkart on 3rd june this year and which has stopped cooling after only 2 months.
                                    I was told that technician will visit same day. Technician visited on 8th august after my numerous calls to customer care/service center and the technician. He was carrying a whirlpool voltage regulator and without even checking the fridge asked us to buy that. He spend just 5 mins unscrewing and screwing few screws at the back, and forced us to buy the 2k stabiliser and left. The fridge was still same i. E zero cooling.

                                    Since then i have called customer care every morning and evening. I am tired of verifying my address and explaining the issue again and again. Every time they assure me i will get a call in 2 hours which never happens.
                                    10th august morning technician called and asked for my live location which i immediately shared with him. He didn't visit whole day, i couldn't go out and finish my other pending work because of that. My calls went unanswered. The receptionist at the service center was clueless and even after explaining 10 times, she disconnected my call.

                                    Sunday when i called customer care i was told technician will visit on monday as sunday is a holiday.
                                    After no response on monday, tuesday i was told they have closed my complaint as i was not available even though i called 20 times on monday.
                                    A new complaint was raised but again it's been 4 days and no one visited.
                                    I am tired of calling customer care, service centers, technicians, the later never even answer my calls.
                                    Truly pathetic and frustrating service by whirlpool.

                                    The technician finally visited on 16th Aug and after checking mentioned the fridge needs to be replaced and replacement will take 15-20 days.
                                    It's been more than 26 days now and I haven't heard from anyone.
                                    I tried following up with the service center, first time they said they have submitted paper work from their end and after that they stopped picking my call.
                                    The customer care response was your ticket is in progress and still at first stage. They have no idea what is the next stage and why it is in progress or what's going on with the request.
                                    So now it's been almost 40 days.
                                    What kind of service is this..

                                      HORRIBLE AFTER-SALE SERVICE - This post is written in public interest -

                                      I usually do not write bad reviews about a product or a service as most companies usually correct themselves based on feedback and personal review offered with the benefit of the doubt. Whirlpool's customer service however, is consistently bad! Dreadful is the right word choice to be accurate.

                                      I have a double door refrigerator that had been working well. Due to usual wear and tear I would say, the refrigerator stopped cooling all of a sudden. I called up the Whirlpool Customer Care helpline at [protected] to register a complaint. This was my first complaint on August 1, and the engineer visited on August 2. After examining the machine, he concluded the sensor was faulty and had to be replaced, in addition he convinced me to buy a voltage stabilizer to safeguard the machine against erratic voltage fluctuations. Point to be noted here is that the refrigerator had been working great for 9 years, without a voltage stabilizer. The engineer requested to turn the machine back on after 2 hours and it should be working fine. To my surprise, the problem remained! There was no cooling. But I gave it another day hoping for a miracle.

                                      Within a couple of days, I called the care helpline again to get the complaint reopened since it was not fully resolved. The engineer came the next day, and examined the faulty fridge. Once again, he concluded that the sensor was faulty! When I informed him of the sensor replacement by the previous engineer, he mentioned "sometime the company sends a faulty product by mistake and the past engineer might not have checked for any faults." I quickly realized that the engineers working for Whirlpool were incompetent. However, he changed the sensor once again and left. I turned the fridge back on after a couple hours and it was still not functioning like it used to.

                                      By this time I realized three things: 1. the sensor may not have been the root-cause for failure. 2. the voltage stabilizer was an up-sell and not really needed. 3. I could have been scammed here!

                                      Given the issue still at hand, I called the helpline again and expressed my discontent at the level of service provided by a company as reputed as Whirlpool! This was on August 10, and today August 13 - I have been given false assurances of an engineer visiting soon to resolve all my problems at the earliest, BUT neither have I received a call to schedule a visit nor has the engineer visited.

                                      To add to this, the Ghaziabad area supervisor (what I understood based on his explanation) Ashok Sikka, also made empty promises of service, and lied about call backs. BAD CHOIDE FOR A SUPERVISOR in my opinion!

                                      In conclusion, it has been 2 weeks since my refrigerator is down, I have paid Rs.4000 towards service and part replacement, the problem still persists! I would not recommend anyone to buy a Whirlpool product in India (atleast Delhi NCR region) given the absence of after sales service.
