The water inlet valve was replaced by the service engineer and the cost which was charged for this valve was 1850. The part was said to be of the said cost earlier and plus service charge. This amount was heavily (3 times the cost) by the service engineer. Original and good quality inlet valves cost around 500.

I called up the call centre (Om sai service centre 212/16 hanumanpuri near banthara lucknow 227101) to verify the cost but the attendee of the call was very hesitant at first but bluntly responded if you have any issues with the part you should get it replaced yourself. After this interaction the technician did not charge his service fee or was too eager to get away.

I being an engineer myself today have lost in whirlpool brand being a loyal customer for years and would not suggest anyone to go fro the brand.

    I bought the whirlpool double door intellifresh/neo, 3 months before from vijay sales. The refrigerator in the morning caught fire, which destroyed the half of the kitchen. Tried to reach out to their customer service, they want me to wait for a day with burnt fridge and destroyed kicthen for a day because they can't send service guy on sunday!!!
    If new refrigerator can catch fire in 3 months with 10 years of compressor warranty... I really feel, i have chosen the wrong brand!
    Didn't expect this from whirlpool, i should have checked the reviews about their refrigerator getting caught on fire.

      I purchased a fridge (W/pool ref 20677-df278 neo prm arctic stee) from one of the dealers of whirlpool in feb 2019 from delhi.in april we had a demo of fridge from whirpool technician and after few days it was observed that door is not getting closed properly.
      We raised a complaint at whirlpool service center, their technician visited our home to check and afterwards he said that we will replace your fridge. We asked them to upgrade our fridge rather than replacing as it seems to be a manufacturing defect.
      They gave us the contact details of senior person of their service team. He said he has to take permission from the management and meanwhile asked us to share the refrigerator details that we want in upgrade. We shared the details with them. Initially he said that the permission has been received, we asked him to share the cost and all that we have to pay once we upgrade.
      He did not replied for a week or 10 days and then when we called him he said that request has been denied from management side.

      This whole process started in april and was ended in mid of september 2019 with the replacement of our refrigerator with the same model only not the upgraded one.
      During all this period we have to again and again register the complaint as they have closed our request multiple times without informing us. I can mention the name of each and every person here with their contact details but i do not want to. Worst experience with whirlpool.

      Also, there is a difference of around rs.5000 in the amount that is mentioned in the actual purchased receipt and the receipt that we got after replacement (I dont know why and whether it will affect our purchase if we upgrade to new model).

      Now, when we got the replaced refrigerator (In mid september, 2019), there is the same door locking problem. We again raised a complaint (This time with another mobile number), again their technician visited and has taken pics of our refrigerator and asked us to whats app on one of the member of their team and it has been a week he visited and now when we again contacted them they said that your request has been closed but they don't know why.
      We told them about our problem that we are facing from the very beginning, how we raised complaints and how it has been handled but no use.

      These people are just making us fool. We are fed up with this company, there employees and their service.
      We were interested in upgrading our fridge to higher capacity level and were ready to pay the extra amount but these people are not considering our request. I dont know what kind of people has been recruited in this company.
      They are least bothered about their customer satisfaction.

      I'm least interested in upgrading to a new model of whirlpool now. I request you to look into this matter and either get my money refund (Priority) or get me an upgraded model.

        Hi,
        I've raised a service request for my washing machine (Freshcare 7010) on 20th september 2019. The same was bought on may month of 2018 from gopunathilath g mart, alappuzha.
        Now the machine is not working. At first i face an issue like the machine door was unable to open even after the washig was completed. And your service team came and told that it's pcb is complaint need to import and replace. After two week they came with its new pcb. But the issue was not resolved the new module was also not working also they told that need to replace it's display board.
        How long i should wait??
        I choose this product as the whirlpool sales executive in the shop told that it's european standard/make product so there won't be any complaint.
        As the product turns one year. It's dead.
        Your technicians even can't troubleshoot the issue yet.
        So i want replacement for this product. How long i could wait for this hopeless service?. Till this day the whirlpool company is unable to arrange the complaint part and resolve my the issue. Then why should i keep this whirlpool scrap at my home?.

          Dear sir,

          We bought whirlpool washing machine model 652sd in december 2013. Just after the two years complete warranty protection, the bearing was replaced at a cost of around rs 5000/- and not before 6 months from then, noise again started and now its loud noise coming, and the bearing again need to be replaced. The authorised service center here quoted around rs 5000/-. I have almost spent 1/3 of the washing machine price for the first bearing change, and again its 5000, and with an inspection fee eventhough i have told them not needed to check its bearing complaint only, as i already have an experience. So if it goes like these every three years rs 5000 to be spent on bearing not affordable thing. And it seems that the bearing lacks quality. If it goes like this, next time, for a new machine, will have to switch on to someother brands. Please help us in this regard

            Dear m/s. Whirlpool customer service team,

            I have purchased whirlpool refrigerator serial no[protected], model no-70055 from your dealer vijay radio house, bus stand road, sidhi, (M. P.)-486661 dated on 27/04/2014, due to transfer of my employment presently i am in serving in ajmer district, rajasthan.

            From past 3 days my refrigerator is not cooling in that regard i have compliant today to customer care for further resolution of my refrigerator case and service person has informed that compressor is not working and warranty has been expiry, it's only for 5 years, but in my warranty card it clearly mentioned for 10 years of warranty then how service center will deny to resolve my compressor issue it is a fake commitment from your dealer by issuing warranty card to customer.

            Any how further resolve my issue as written in my warranty card, else i will go for file a legal case for false commitment in writing.

            I am enclosing the invoice copy and warranty card for your information.

            I have ordered Whirlpool 360 L convertible 2019 model from Colors Unlimited, Uttam Nagar Delhi to our home Gurgaon om 10 June 2020.

            They have cheated and delivered used, old and scratch based product and now he is not returning my money, I have returned the product to them but they are charging logistics fee unnecessary 2000 rs to me.

            He is saying this as brand new fresh item. Howcome it be?
            How can I pay that money as I have not received anything.

            The staff is not listening and harassing me n my wife whenever I called them.

            Please intervene and assist urgently.
            Urgent help needed.
            Please take strict action against as they are selling such items on the name of Whirlpool brand.

              Every time i open or touch the refridgerator there will be a cracking sound. I have made multiple complaints but of no use. On technician's 1st visit - he inserted a few papers here and there but nothing helped.
              2nd technician visit - i was asked to buy a stand (I had to reject as it is brand new and should work as excepted from day one).
              3rd visit - i was told 1 out f 10 comes with this problem but no resolution.

                  It seems that stoppage of warranty extension calls was just for few days..

                  Initially, i was getting calls for refrigerator and now i am receiving incessant calls for ac warrantee extension.

                  Don't you have an iota of shame left.. No other white good company has stopped to such lows on compromising on privacy..

                  Please stop calls for warrantee extension urgently else i have to go to consumer court..

                  Be assured, neither me nor any one of my family members and friends are going to buy any whirlpool product.

                    Service is very very worse.
                    On 20.04.19 there was a problem related to washing machine spinning ie there was slippage between drive & driven due to v-belt loose. But service engineer replaced all internals (Which was not at all needed).

                    After replacement of all the internal parts, new problem started, ie sound during spinning. Discussed with service engineer related to problem, he replied that it will set within few...

                    I have whirlpool white magic 123 6.5kg machine. the authorized dealer initially said that the pcb replacement cost is rs 3800. now when he came at my home to replace the circuit, he said that it's cost is 4400rs. and he said that the warranty for the new pcb is one month only. i need a confirmation from whirlpool that the new pcb costs this much only, and also about the warranty. when you charge such an exorbitant amount why don't you provide a 6 month or a year warranty?

                      Dear Sir,
                      I want to present some facts which proves how whirlpool India ltd is looting the entire Nation, which will open the Biggest Scam of Whirlpool India, who sold defective Items in India and earned profits.
                      On 27th September 2019, I had a teleconference with Whirlpool India ltd Delhi office and Area Manager of Mumbai. He said an Air conditioner of Rs 50000 ( Fifty thousand ) required Rs 1.5 Lakh of Spares if replacement required to change all the parts. I requested the customer care and Area Manager to reply the same words in writing by return email. He denies to provide the same. Also they only provide replacement don’t repair.

                      I also want to provide some actual facts
                      AC Price = 50 Thousand
                      Condenser coil Replacement cost Rs = 11000 ( I Replaced in May 2018)
                      Outdoor unit PCB cost = Rs 12600 + GST ( Quoted by Area Manager on 27th Sep 2019)
                      There are so many other important components in AC which may cost more than 1 Lakh ( as per Area Manager – Mumbai) if we ask for replacement. It means Whirlpool is earning profits by replacing the components of AC which will cost 3 Times the cost of AC.

                      I presumes they removes the spares from New AC only, it means they are paying GST for new AC of Rs 50000 to Government and selling the spares @ Rs 1.5 Lacs to customers and generating Rs 1 lakh black money per AC.

                      I will also complaint about this act of M/s Whirlpool to Enforcement Directorate of India. You please take necessary action from your end.

                        My whirpool single door refrigerators compressor is faulty after just 2 years from the purchase.. And the refrigerator came with 10 years of warranty for the compressor.. Now the service centre people are asking 3000 as gas filling charge.. They say that when they change compressor the existing gas will be leaked out and they ll have to fill new gas... My question is if the compressor fails 5 times in its warranty period and we keep paying 3000 as gas filling charge what is the use of warranty then... It would cost more than the whole refrigerator itself.. The whirpool call support team is bit of confused and they are being so rude at this complaint

                          I purchased online Whirlpool 300L 3 door refridgerator, FP 313d Protton Roy, on the 1st of June 2019 S.No. INE[protected], Alpha steel colour from Amazon.in Within 2 months I saw water droplets from the door seal and fungus formation on the outer seal of the vegetable drawer. Technician Rajesh from Max Service Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore visited me on the 20th August 2019 complaint no. BG[protected] and advised me that if this persists the next few days to call him and share the pictures so he can apply for a replacement as per the warranty conditions. I called and booked a complaint ( Service request no. BG[protected]) on the 26th of August 2019. Provided Rajesh with proof of purchase assuring me of replacement. On the 23rd of September 2019 at 10pm, when the replacement fridge was about to be delivered I noticed it was a Crimson steel colour instead of Alpha steel colour. I did not accept delivery. Tried reaching the service manage Mr. Sundar and got no response till now. From 24th September 2019 at 10.30am Ive tried getting help and nobody has responded back including Sundar who is the head of the agency. However, when my mother tried reaching Sundar mobile no.[protected] from a different number, he picked the call instantly.And to worsen when she asked him why he wasn’t responding to her daughters calls he said he is busy and in a customers residence and hence he couldn’t take my calls. When she probed further he said he was busy and hung up abruptly.The complaint was closed despite repeated calls, on the 26th Sep 2019. I called customer service 3 times today 28th September 2019 and they finally opened a fresh complaint no.BG[protected]. I have no faith in WHIRLPOOL and they need to have stricter policy in customer grievance redressal.

                          My washing machine not working yesterday and I call service center, according to his engineer pcb defect. It is only replacement and his cost is 3500+gst+service visit charge. He told It is not repaired only replaced.

                            This is regarding hd[protected], hd[protected], hd[protected], hd[protected]& hd[protected]

                            These are the calls registered within a span of 3 months on a single machine

                            For hd[protected], your technician had replaced condensor, motor, pcb and belt on 19-june-19 but they hadn't given any receipt of change for motor and condensor.

                            For hd[protected], technician had replaced pcb and conveyed it would be replaced free of cost and had taken service charges

                            And now for hd[protected], technician had visited and saying that he needs to replace condenser, pcb and belt.

                            Which costs me around inr4500. And the service charges as usual

                            Pls confirm me why i should pay for the spares for every 3 months.

                            If that is the case we don't need whirlpool products as till today i had invested more than 7k inr only for your service in the span of three months

                            I would have invested the same amount in a laundry would haven't been more than 3k for the three months and they don't consume my electricity and water

                            Request you to consider my concern and carry on repair at your cost or else pls refund my machine cost and take this machine back to your premises or else pls replace the machine with a new one

                            Request you to pls consider my concern and revert back by tomorrow 11 am or else it may be considered that whirlpool is bluffing his customers legally.

                              मैंने एक वर्लपूल रेफ्रिजरेटर ऑनलाइन फ्लिपकार्ट के माध्यम से खरीदा था . जिसका डिलीवरी होने के के बाद वर्लपूल से कॉल आया था और इंस्टॉलेशन के लिए बोला गया था लेकिन इंस्टॉलेशन के लिए कोई भी लड़का समय पर नहीं आया. क्रिकेटर आने के दो-तीन दिन बाद तक कोई भी लड़का इंस्टॉल के लिए नहीं आया । तुम्हें उस हालात को देखते हुए रेफ्रिजरेटर में पावर दिया और रेफ्रिजरेटर चालू होगी लेकिन रेफ्रिजरेटर अच्छी तरह से कॉलिंग कॉलिंग नहीं कर पा रहा था तो जिसका कंप्लेंट में है कस्टमर केयर में किया लेकिन कोई भी लड़का सर्विस के लिए नहीं आया । फिर मैंने दोबारा कंप्लेंट किया विदीन 1 महीने के बाद ।
                              तो फिर सर्विस ब्वॉय आता है और प्रोडक्ट की कुछ पार्ट्स का डिफॉल्ट बताता है । और और उसके बाद बिल मांगता है। उस समय मिलना रहने के कारण लड़का कुछ अभद्र सा व्यवहार करता है और बोलता है बिल नहीं रहता है तो कंप्लेंट क्यों करते हैं। उक्त वक्त मैं घर पर नहीं था और बिल की कॉपी नहीं थी जब मैंने उनसे बात किया और बोला कि आप सीरियल नंबर को नोट करके चेक कर ले किए व्यक्त रिजल्ट कब का है और उसके आधार पर आप सर्विस कर दें तो उन्होंने बोला मुझसे नहीं हो पाएगा आप किसी और से करा लें यानी था चार्ज लगेगा । आपके प्रोडक्ट के सीरियल नंबर से ज्ञात होता है कि वह फिर एस रिजेक्टर 2019 में बना है लेकिन फिर भी आपके किसी भी सर्विस वाले ने सर्विस करने से मना कर दिया। मैं यह जानना चाहता हू। वर्लपूल जैसी ब्रांडेड कंपनी कि यह हाल होगा तो बाकी कंपनियों की क्या होगी। कृपया मुझे सर्विस देने की कष्ट करें

                                Whirlpool a well know brand in india since decades, but sometime when customer does not receive a good product and service the brand name goes to zero. Same is going on with me, i purchased whirlpool split ac 1.0 ton on 16th march 2019 from flipkart and from the very first day i was having an issue in it, less cooling a very less airflow, it take 6-7 hr to cool a 10 feet x 10 feet room and its airflow is very very less. I logged an complaint online but no one contacted me, then i called your toll-free number and logged an complaint, your technician visited and said yes cooling is very less and might be less gas in compressor is the reason, and for less airflow he cleaned the blower of indoor unit and did top-up gas in compressor, with this he assured me that it will work fine now, i kept it under testing but nothing changed, it’s as like as it was on day one, i don't know whether your technician are not well trained or if they try to fool the customer so that product goes out of warranty and then their job is done and will ask for paid service.

                                This is totally unacceptable service from a brand like whirlpool which can’t be taken forward. Here i request you to look into this matter and get the unit replaced as it was its manufactured fault and i can’t pay for this. I can’t believe on your technicians now as they already failed and now they might give another excuse till it’s out of warranty. Hope issue will be resolved and i don’t have to take it to consumer forum.

                                  We purchased the whirlpool top load washing machine (Serial no: inf[protected] in july, 2016. The service engineer visited our place for demo and very casually told us about the extra products that he can upsell along with the demo. Since he had no conviction in what he was selling, we did not trust him. The following year in 2017, the same person visited us for annual maintenance. We told him that the machine was making noise and he suggested that was because the machine needs to be on the trolley for proper functioning and that the sound was normal. We bought the trolley from him for inr 1400 april 2017 (I. E. 9 months after our purchase). Again in the following year (2018) we started facing loud sound while the machine functioning and called the service engineer home for inspection. He told us that this was due some technical error and replaced some spare part and charged us around inr 1600 again. Now, as of today (1 year later) after i moved from my previous place - our machine started making loud sounds again and we called a service engineer to our new address for inspection. Since, it's a new place, a different engineer showed up. According to him, our gearbox has stopped working and the total cost for repair is inr 6200. Thing to note here is that - he told me this is all because i did not use scalegon in the last 3 years of machine use. Now, after being in regular touch with the old engineer and calling him over once every year he did not mention such a big fact to us. If he could sell us a trolley or charge service repair couldn't he sell is a scalegon for hardly inr 595??? If we can buy a machine worth inr 18, 000, can't we really afford this damn cleaning powder?
                                  This just highlights the pathetic post sale service of whirlpool india and the untrained service engineers employed by the service dealers. I feel we have been mislead, misguided and looted by the service engineer involved with our case at our old address and i seek redressal for this.

                                  I just checked the last years bill and I have been charged for motor repair that costed me INR 2622 and not 1600 as I mentioned above. I cannot believe the way I have been looted and the issue always remained.
