I purchased the mi tv 4x 50" during the great india festival in amazon on sep 29, 2019. I got the tv delivered on oct 04, 2019. As soon as i received the tv, i requested for tv installation through their website mi. Hatetowaitapp.com. I chose the date oct 05, 2019 and slot time 12pm - 3pm. Job sheet # tvin[protected]
The technician to perform the installation didn't show up. I called the mi customer care at 1.30pm about this, arathi from the cc promised a technician will be at home today itself for the installation and she will raise a complaint. I got a call from technician at 7.30 pm saying he cannot come due to heavy downpour. Mi gave me the option to choose a date and slot time and the technician called me at 7.30pm just to give this reason.
I contacted the mi india tv facebook page asking for next action, they asked me to fill the complaint form - which i did. I never got any acknowledgment mail after filling the form.
Today, oct 06, 2019 - i called mi customer care few minutes ago, and choose the local language (Malayalam). The lady who answered, heard my issue and informed will raise another complaint. She is unable to see the complaint raised yesterday as i chose 'english language' yesterday.
On checking the records, she said the installation is re-scheduled on oct 08th (I as a customer is not informed about this, if i would have not called customer care i would have not known this). I asked for a supervisor, i was transferred to a number that kept ringing non-stop. I waited for nearly 10 minutes and finally disconnected the call.
This complaint is to let the mi company know about how pathetic the customer service is. I have a long-term relationship with mi, starting by owning their very first mi band, smartphones, bluetooth speaker, sports shoes and now the tv. The trust which was given to the mi brand will be lost because of the bad after-sales service.
I demand a technician to be at my home tomorrow morning oct 07, 2019 9-12pm slot to install the tv.
