hi,

The YAMAHA FZ16 BIKE BACK TYRE quality so poor, I brought this one at 2010, and after 3 yr i replace 3 tyre, and now the product not available in market . so, now this is useless.If company not able to provide parts then why they launch it or continue sell in market.

This complain was running from 2012, but the yamaha guy say that this is bike fault . if know its fault then why till u r not rectify it.

I really had very bad experience with YAMAHA. i will never suggest my frnd to buy this thing never.

    Hi, I have recently gave my FZ 2011 model bike for service at Yamaha serivice centre, ToliChowki in Hyderabad. There is no such proper service procedure over there and they will always remain any defect after service. I have given my bike for engine oil change, shock obserber issue, Chain spray & wheel alignment issue. Their service results are, 1. Changed the engine oil. But i found the oil leakage and gave them again for service. Before that i didnt get that issue. 2. Nothing has done for the shock obserber issue. They simply said, we have adjusted the Cap. Till now i dont understand, which cap they have done. 3. I have done my recent 2 services over there. But they were keep saying once alignment issue. They did nt even try to take the ride to check what is the actual problem if there is no alignment issue. 4. I have visited them for Neutral switch for almost 20 times. All the times they keep saying, no stock. Even the saree guard i was able to get after 2 weeks. I dont understand that how come they dont have any spare parts & proper service engineers. They always keep saying to come after 2 days for anything. I have never seen any supervisor/manager over there to handle the escalations. Because of this, I have tried at another service centre located in Mehdipatnam and they are even worst. Both the places are best for only water service. Pathetic experience.

      I had Yamaha-SZX, purchased in November 2010. I gave it normal servicing (no major service was required at all) at Samrat Motors, Ghaziabad. They serviced the bike and delivered my bike on same date. Next day, when I started my bike but it didn't started. Later on I took it to their service center and they told me up to leave the bike for the check up. After 3-4 hours they called me up that its wiring has to be changed, it has been damaged and told me it will cost around to Rs.1200.00. I said YES to them. But when I go for the delivery of my serviced bike, they asked me for Rs. 3200.00 and told me that one more part has been changed. When I asked why it has been changed they have no answer for that. They are trying to fool me up. From other YAMAHA mechanic I came to know that part was deteriorated by the Yamaha Mechanic who was servicing the same. Wy should I pay for that? Evenly my Bike was working properly before the service. It might be the engineer's fault for which the wiring has to be changed. Need prompt action. Thanks & regards, Harshit Garg [protected]

        I bought my new bike Yamaha FZ, just 2month before. From starting it was giving 15-16 Km/L in city. After one month at the time of servicing, i complained about the same and the told we have done the servicing, it will must show 35-40Km/L. But Still it is giving the same millage of 15-16 km/L. Than again i went to same Yamaha service station and they did some tuning adjustment and told now you will definitely get good millage.           I have purchased SZR bike from your one of the sub dealer. But it is under maintenance, some time fuse is not working, I have changed the fuse for four times during one year. Now all the circuits are not working, like, speedometer, fuel gauge in mess it means, after feeling 2 ltr petrol it shows tank full. How it is possible.             I bought a Yamaha ss125 on Sep 2012. And from the date of purchase i bring it for the service in every intervals without any fail to the authorized dealer/service cente in Amritsar. But from the last 7-8 months its engine is producing noise. Even after booking the complaints in written 3-4 times they are not interested to rectify the problem. Even checked by their Engineer from Delhi and committed that there is definitely a problem, the local Yamaha dealer is not interested to solve the problem. Please let me know what should I do and where I have to go from now. I suffered a lot of metal strain due to their irresponsible behavior. I am waiting for your response.             hi i m from sitarganj, u.s.nagar uttrakhand.I bought a Yamaha ss125 on April 2013.And from the date of purchase i bring it for the service in every 2000 kilomeator without any diley to the authorized dealer/service cente in Sitarganj. But from the last 8-9 months its engine is producing (Making)Diffrent type of noise.Even after booking the complaints in written 5-6 times they are not interested to rectify the problem.they sad Always is good.Even checked by their Engineer and committed that there is definitely a problem, After I checked my local area engenier there is problem.             Hello guys,

            I bought yamaha ss125 on 1st august2014. I got problem on 2 nd august. I don't know who's problem is... Either direct yamaha manufacture defect nor showroom problem. I felt it was the yamaha manufacturer defect because while assembling the parts yamaha has to check the part is part is in good condition or not. It was the 2nd day of purchase not even travelled 20km with the bike... Bike back tyre looks like puncture. I immediately took bike to MRF dealer to check the tyre for any puncture. He asked me when in have bought bike from showroom as there is no number waiting for registration to complete. After checking he told me that there is no puncture in the tube but there is small cut immediate to the air pump. They have asked me need to replace the tube. Because if they fix the old one also issue will regenerate because problem is at the air pump. Now it is the tube tomorrow if some issue with the engine whom i need to contact. So finally i have decided to file a case on consumer court on yamaha as well seller who sold the bike to me. There are the issues i have seen who bought bikes faces issues from the same showroom or dealer. Please dont buy bikes from Raj Yamaha, chennai.;

              I bought a Yamaha R15 v 2.0 in late january of this year.The bike was promised to give a performance of atleast 16 bhp @ 7500 rpm.But my bike is not giving a standard performance as promised by the company. I have informed about this to the dealer as well as to the company website but no action has taken so far.Please do help me in this situation.

                Dear sir, My name is P.Davood Khan,and i have bought Yamaha Fazer on October 2011. And from the date of purchase i bring for the service in every intervals without any fail to your Showroom at Rajahmundry. For every service i am giving my problems which i faced while im driving, and they have charged for it. But the complaint which i described is comes again with in the short term from the date of previous service .For example a sound coming from the front wheel when it is in running, and when i raised this complaint they changed the front wheel bearings, and with in a short period from the replace of bearing the sound starts again. So i given bike for service again and they said that sound will occur if any dust particle goes,and i asked that so why you people changed my previous bearings and charged for that.And i didn't got a proper answer from that servicing guys for my question.And i stopped raising that problem on that day and managing by filling that area with some oil,even now also i am getting that sound problem nearly from 8months. Coming to the other problem battery complaint My battery stops working just after completion of warranty period i.e., nearly 15 days after the warranty period. I took my bike servicing on the next day for this complaint and your company people given me reply as that "your warranty was exceed before 15 days so this does not cover under warranty", So i asked for some other mechanic for battery replacement at outside the showroom and they seen the present battery condition that it was never cleaned and never kept some anti rust liquid on that terminals when given for the servicing. So for this reason the batter life was decreased and it is now in the condition to replace the battery. They people are not doing the service properly even i pay for it. And coming to the other problem the Tyre of my vehicle, i didn't get it for 1 years also and the Tyre was getting damaged one portion of the Tyre. And i asked this question for your company service people and i got the answer as " All the fazer Tyres are like this only, they are getting damaged in one portion and finally burst one day.So you have to change the Tyre immediately and it cost about Rs.3500/- So i don't want to blame that guys about the Tyre because it depends on the bike running. Please properly maintain the quality factor and please engage the proper efficient guys in servicing stations. I have to bring this complaints to you as before only but i didn't think about this complaint form in online.If you do not believe me, i will send you a soft copy of my servicing records if you revert for this mail.I think that you will take the necessary action regarding my complaints.                     sir i purchased an yamaha ray from palathra showroom,changanacherry, kottayam. at 26/05/2013. At the time of second service i inform them that the indicators are not working but they are not willing to repair it.I tried to contact them too many times to solve the problem.                     Sir,
                    I purchased yamaha FZ16 on 16th of oct 09 from samrat motors in ghaziabad, u.p..
                    When i went for services of the bike then i only feel the worst service experince in my life. they did not lubricate the clutch, brakes and other points.and not able to fixed out any of my problems of my bike.
                    I request you to make proper service arrangements for servicing the expensive bike like yamaha fz16 in your dealers workshop.this kind of experience make a bad image of yamaha bikes among their old customers.
                    After every servising the bike starting to give problem.
                    Like Cell Start, suddenly bike stop in middle of our journey or going somewhere
                    dear sir , i purchased yamaha r15 from [MOHRIR YAMAHA] NASIK, as my rear wheel rim gt damaged in just 2500 kms , i was told for warranty exchange....and its about a month today my bike is in showroom and the people there are making me run sayin tht still part has not cum yet ..plz do the needfull i[censored] can help me regading any action against them !!!! thank you.

                      I Purchased Yamaha FZS on 03/06/13 from Pearl Yamaha ,Y junction Kukatpally. Frame No : ME121C0H3D2005901 EngineNO :21CH005966 REGNO: AP 28CK1862. Its been 2and half months and around 2500Kmts , my bike clutch cable got cut . My concern is what kind of quality clutch cables Yamaha is providing ??? Am quiet disappointed and literally shocked when this happened at 2500Kmts !!! Am not bothered about the money which i had spent for the new one but the quality which Yamaha is providing. I would like to escalate this issue to the top management.

                      Even i am facing the same problem for Yamaza Fzs bike, i already replaced third clutch cable. I purchased my bike in November 2012, within 10 months i already replaced three cables, the total kms till now i covered is 6000kms.

                      I am very disappointed with the quality of yamaha.

I had given the vehicle FZ16 for general servicing and gear and handle issue on 12th Aug 2013 and they had not done a proper job/even looked at the gear and handle issue and gave the vehicle delivery on 14th Aug 2013. It took them two days for them to service the vehicle without even taking what the customer has asked to check. now i have ended up having the bike as it was before except for a gear oil and engine oil change and few adjustments in brake and clutch.
                        More importantly, they haven't given me a service bill and asked me to collect it on 16th Aug 2013.

                        Manager- Sethuram and Nagendra are pathetic and use bad words/create a scene in front of customer when customer expresses his grievances.

                        Their customer Service Grievances number - [protected]/8 is picked up by some cab driver and they have placed this board at the reception. This shows how pathetic their service is....

                        Yamaha India is going to lose customers if they don't take strict actions against their dealers.

                          I have purchased Yamaha YHT-196 and it was working fine for 1 week and then problem started with receiver.When you power ON the receiver it turns ON and then immediately turns OFF. Below are the product details and Problem described in steps wise, Please Help.


                          Model no: HTR-2064.
                          Serial no: T462982VX.

                          Problem:

                          22nd Jul, 2013 : Purchased at Hyper City, Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad.

                          25th Jul, 2013 : Installed and worked fine for 1 week.

                          31st Jul, 2013 : While watching movie it turned OFF automatically and when i turn it ON , it started Playing.

                          01st Aug, 2013 : It automatically turned OFF again after running it for 20 min and when i try to turn it ON, it turns ON and immediately turns OFF. I contacted service person who installed my system and he asked me to bring receiver to service center.

                          02nd Aug, 2013 : Took receiver to Service center and he repaired it. When i started using it , after 30 min it again turned OFF automatically and when i try to turn it ON ,it turns ON and goes OFF immediately. I contacted service person again ,he asked to bring receiver again.

                          03rd Aug, 2013 : Took receiver to Service center again and he repaired it. When i started using it , this time it only worked for 10-20 min and it again turned OFF automatically and when i try to turn it ON ,it turns ON and goes OFF immediately. Again i contacted service person, he asked to bring receiver again.

                          05th Aug, 2013 : I contacted Yamaha with contact no. i got from internet ,he gave me a mail id( [protected]@gmx.yamaha.com) and i wrote him mail what happened from day 1 he just gave replay to use stablizer and i wrote him replay saying i am already using stablizer with rating suggested by service center person and i didnt got any replay till now. On the same day i again called the number which i got from internet and he told that he will ask service departmant people to call me and when they called me i gave him my details and service center person called me after 20min saying that he will come and check the system on 8th Aug.

                          08th Aug, 2013 : When i called service center person he said, he is on leave and tommorrow he will come.

                          09th Aug, 2013 : Service center person came and saw for 10min and asked us to bring complete system to store so that they can check and he leaved.

                          10th Aug, 2013 : I Went and gave complete system to service center.

                          from 10th Aug to today : When ever i call service center person about my product status , he says that he kept mail to yamaha they need to replay us untill then they cannot do anything.

                            I booked a r15 version 2 motogp edition (white-blue) in Glory Enterprise (3, Taldanga Saw Mill, G T Road, Chinsurah Bazar, Hooghly, West bengal 712101) on 13th july 2013. They took rs. 20000/- as booking amount where all other showrooms in Kolkata takes only rs. 5000/-. The showroom guys told me that they will get the bike within 3-4 days. But I insisted to take the delivery on 31st july 2013 and they assured me that there will not be any problem. But when I called them around 29th july they told that the bike will not be delivered on time and i will get the bike on 7th august,2013. They told me on 6th august that my bike is on the way and i will get the bike on 10th August . But on 10th august, they told that company had not sent the bike and i will have to wait for 15 more days. also they are trying to convince me to consider other colors as according to them company is not sending motogo edition.
                            I never expected this kind of confusing and frustrated experience from a well reputed company like Yamaha. I am also very much worried whether I will get the bike at all.
                            So it is my humble request to Yamaha to look into this matter so that i can get my bike without any further hassle.Otherwise I will not have any other option but to opt for other brands other than Yamaha.

                            Yamaha — New bike delivery

                            I had booked a Yahama fazer on 31st July and have still not got it and when I booked they said its a 10 day waiting the showroom person keeps saying that yamaha has not sent the delivery this is a poor service and I am disappointed as a first time buyer. I would want interest to be paid by the company for this delay for the downpaymnet i have paid.

                              I am using Yamaha FZ 16. I bought it 5 months back. the bike stops when i ride it in rain. After riding for 5 minutes in rain, the engine stops and the bike starts bubbling and stops. After few hours its starts again. Please let me know what could be the cause and solution for it.

                              Yamaha FZ16 — no attention on complins which were placed before servicing and deteriorated performance of bike

                              when i gave my bike for 1st servicing it was working very well but after servicing the pickup of bike has decreased, it is making a lot of noise and is vibrating lot more than previously and the mileage has decreased from 40-42 to 28-32 km per lit.even after complaining for these they are not ready to accept these.they are just concerned with changing of ingine oil during free servicing offered in guarrantee period.when i again complained about poor mileage they tell me to come on another day on which i am not free. i am just fed of telling them any complain as they not ready to listen anything . do i have any right to have a bike that works perfectly.

                              The problem was solved after I took it to service center many time. The reason was faulty carburetor pipe. Whenever I ride it in rain, the water goes to carburetor and bike would stop. They changed the pipe and now the bike runs fine. Thanks to Yamaha.

                                    I've bought Yamaha Motor Cycle (SZR) around one year back (Dec'2011). I'm facing problem in the Motorcycle from very beginning, related to performance of the vehicle. Sound of the motor cycle is abnormal and the pick-up is also not satisfactory and is very heavy while riding as compare to the same model of Yamaha. I am very particular about maintenance of my vehicle and all the servicing has been done at Yamaha network of dealers within specified time limit.

                                    Despite of forwarding several complaints to the dealer and also taking up this issue with your customer care TOLL-Free number , I did not get any satisfactory response from the company.

                                    I think the problem in my vehicle is not properly understood by the dealer/service center and engineer, On several followup they have changed some parts and also charged from me instead the part was ok.
                                    Mr. Sajid Hassan (engineer) who attend the problem, threaten me if you will take legal action we have already have a lawyer.

                                      I bought a Yamaha FZ S from Adithya Yamaha in singanallur on 2011 January 9. Within 3 months i back tyre was punchtured and later i found found a hole in back alloy wheel. They said they can claim warranty and charged me 150Rs for labour. Then i saw the old alloy wheel was altered, i was very dissappointed. Then after 1 year I heard a strange sound in Engine, i gave it to repair in pollachi Suryaprakash Yamaha, they said timing was missing and repaired it. After 3 days I had same complaint and this time they said some valve has been damaged and charged 200Rs. After 2 months again same prob and this time they said the small bolt has been buldged and charged 200Rs again. And now i am having same prob. Its been 18 months since i purchased this vechicle and 6 months are left for warranty. What should I do? These yamaha service stations are useless and there is no meaning for free service and warranty. All the parts are of poor quality and there is no proper response to customers. They told me to drive vechicle at 50km/hr so i wont get this prob. To drive at 50km/hr i can get a electric scooter, why buy a yamaha FZ S ? Please dont purchase these fraud products of poor quality and bad bad badest poor poor poorest response......

                                        I have a yamaha fazer (dl8s at 3059) . I purchased it from jinder yamaha , saraswati vihar .
                                        I previously complaint about the malfunctioned carburetor of this bike and after a call from service center i got it checked but they said everything is fine and ok . But after irregular fuel effeciency and
                                        Uneven idle rpm and bike stop while running i took the bike to the service center and they said the
                                        Carbureter is malfunctioned and you soon have to replace it .It is an immovabe and electrical part which has a long term life in company like yamaha but it need to change it now . I havent replaced carbureter on any vehicle i have driven so far . It is surely a manufacturing
                                        Defect and i want the company to replace the carburetor on my bike . Else i have to take further actions .

                                        Yamaha India — T/R issued with wrong Chassis no. Unable to register the vehicle

                                        I purchased Yamaha YBR 110CC vehicle from Sri Venkateswara motors in the month of may' 2010. After one month when i went to register the vehicle i came to know that they have registered the vehicle with a wrong Chasis no. I approched the showroom immediately. They told that it was happened by mistake they will change it immediately. I gave the documents to them, since then i keep on visiting the showroom. They keep on saying me it will take 10 more days, 3 more days 2 more days etc., Till now i didn't get the modified T/R. Today the showroom manager is saying that it was my mistake. why you didn't check the document while you are buying the vehicle.

                                        I had tremendous mental tension form the past 6 months.

                                        PLease suggest what to do?
