Ordered food with order number [protected] from a restaurant named Shanthi Lakshmi Veg Restaurant, Chennai listed in the app Zomato.

But the food had foreign objects as dust particles, which we felt on our first bite.
On calling the restaurant, the phone kept ringing but no one answered after multiple calls.
On complaining to Zomato, the customer care executive Nisha bluntly stated that Zomato isn't concerned for any food quality, proving that they list any restaurant without prior verification for monetary benefit and then refuse to take responsibility for quality, thus jeopardizing public health.
I have the food pics and chat screenshots.

Request the Honourable Court to take strict action against Zomato and the Aforementioned restaurant so that they take proper steps to ensure public health safety and not take customers for granted and also provide me with a refund for the order amount and any amount as compensation deemed correct by the Honourable Court.

I pray to the Honourable Court to take the necessary action as such incidents jeopardize public health.

    Delay in food delivery by agent

    I have ordered food on 7/09/23 from Ghar ka tadka at 6:25am. The restaurant was located 3km from my location and it was showing 32min delivery time.

    After i ordered food the agent kept on delaying my order. I called him several times and he informed me he is having multiple business with multiple orders.
    I also contacted customer care and they kept saying it will be delivered but the order kept on delaying.

      I have complained via phone oncebut of no use. Then I have emailed several times. Only system generated reply is coming back. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE ANY HUMAN INTERACTION AND SO IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO REACH THEM EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM. Kindly help with the refund.

        I ordered cake yesterday for my friend on her birthday via zomato but delivery boy failed to find the address and did not deliver or re-attempt to deliver the parcel.
        Delivery boy was just 500 m away from house and he cancelled the order by saying that address was wrong. Even after showing the right direction on map which was 500m away he cancelled the order and I was charged the whole amount of cake saying that you wasted our time.

        Previous orders have been delivered on the same address by zomato as well as other online services . Seems like this delivery was incompetant and could not navigate using the maps correctly. But no co-operation from zomato on this matter. Order Number - [protected]

          Yesterday(02sep23 ) I have placed an order of amount 2137 (1xLotus Biscoff Baked Cheesecake ) and put the right address (#36, 1st floor, A Block, 11th Cross Road, AECS Layout - A Block, AECS Layout, , Bengaluru, Karnataka, India 560037, ) which is correct and unfortunately from google location it has took the wrong address but the address which i have inserted is totally correct with all the pin code proof is attached for your reference .

          When I spoke to delivery partner than I came to know that there is some mistake from Zomato team because by default it took the location as well and that delivery boy is ready to give the parcel back to restaurant but as per customer care they refuse and I think they told to delivery boy also not to return back parcel to restaurant and after few calls delivery boy refuse to give it back even same for restaurant also they are agree to give parcel if i will go and pickup the parcel from there restaurant once zomato will return it back

          So my point is
          1.When I have paid for the food, where is my food?If your boy fails to deliver, will you throw that food out or return to the restaurant .
          2.There work is only to deliver if the mistake is done from there end they have to apologise for that, and that parcel has to be given back to the restaurant.
          3.When i request that i will go and take my parcel as this is a special day for someone they close the chat that this comes under the food wastage act something .

          Now I want to understand when I am ready to take my parcel from a restaurant rather than wasting the food and I think for zomato they have to be penalised for this type of activity where they waste the food .

          Now this complaint is to return my full amount along with a penalty .
          I don't want to be a zomato gold partner. I need my money back for such a great gold member where they don't even care how important someone has a day .

            This message is regarding a coupon buy from Amazon for a Zomato gift card of 250 rs. When I applied it on Zomato it showed an error message that the coupon is already used. Zomatoo customer care not helping regarding this not even calling not responding in chat only disconnecting chat. even if I am a gold member next time I will not use this app with this kind of harassment coupon order number- is[protected].

                I am writing to you in connection with a distressing incident involving an order placed on the Zomato platform. The purpose of this letter is to formally bring to your attention the unjust penalty charge levied on me and the subsequent failure of delivery services associated with Order No:[protected].

                I have placed an order through the Zomato application on 30.08.2023 with Order No: [protected]. Regrettably, this order was abruptly cancelled by your platform, and to my dismay, the entire order amount of Rs 697/- was debited from their account as a penalty. This unilateral imposition of a penalty without proper justification has not only caused financial loss but also raised serious concerns about Zomato's adherence to ethical business practices.

                The circumstances surrounding this incident are troubling. The assigned delivery personnel failed to make any reasonable attempts to reach the intended delivery location. Despite the location being easily accessible and previously served by Zomato, the delivery person chose to contact on number without attempting to reach my address or utilize the map-marked location for accurate navigation. This has led to an unfortunate assumption that the delivery person may not have exerted any earnest effort to fulfill the delivery obligation. Even a little local inquiry would helped the delivery agent.

                Such a deficiency in service delivery not only tarnishes Zomato's reputation but also raises questions about the company's commitment to providing quality services to its customers. I have been a loyal patron of Zomato and has consistently engaged with the platform for my dining needs. The incident at hand, however, has severely impacted my perception of Zomato's professionalism and customer-centric approach.

                I even have deleted the app and won't be able to use zomato service if this type of approach continues. Return my amount in way of zomato credits or transfer the fund from where it was debited. Either of the solution is fine for me. But if company continues this behaviour I will never ever use services of zomato in future.

                  Today I placed an order of 3 dosas with Vegetable curry. Cost of 3 dosas (Rs108 *3) and cost of veg curry (Rs 84*3). But I received only 1 Vegetable curry. Raised a concern in the zomato support. But I didn't get any response. Hence calling the restaurant explained the situation. They accepted their mistake. When I asked for a refund for the food I didn't receive the restaurant clearly since I ordered from Zomato . Only zomato should initiate the refund. I tried my level best to reach zomato customer care but nobody gave me a clear answer. I strongly suspect zomato is involved in not refunding the money and being involved in a scam.

                      Hi Team,

                      I raised complaint against order which was delayed from Zomato delivery partner ..When I opened support chat kumar is then person assigned for order to support and provide update.
                      However he lied about the order delivery details he informed me that order was delayed by restorant
                      I had already called restorannt and they informed me.order was dispatched by them long time ago almost 20 min before
                      When I asked about this kumar has closed the chat.
                      I asked to cancel order they didn't cancelled the order and sent to cold and messed up food .. they did refund of 109 out of 274 saying to bridge the gaps and denying complete refund ..I have already sent an e-mail to [protected]@zomato.com however they are denying me complete refund ..

                      Food delivered to me was cold and waste.

                        Order from bonfire barbeque restaurant, balasore odisha.
                        bill was 236.
                        they charged and took payment twice for a single order, i.e. through net banking( reference number/ cheque no : [protected] IGAQCKAFC6), on 29th of june at 6:58 p.m.

                        then also they took the money by cash on delivery by delivery partner Uttam barik, and he had also updated the payment at his end at around 7:08 p.m.
                        i tried calling them also but no one addresses the issue till now.

                            I've ordered on Zomato but I've received wrong product from zomato side. when i complained on zomato they refunded my money in the form of zomato credits with the deadline of only 24 hours but i didin't used it and they expired after 24 hours . when i complained it about it they said we will refund your amount within 24-72 hours but it about to over the time and i didn't receive my money they are giving the same mail again and again.

                                      This is atharva tatkar. I started woking with Zomato since last 2 days but while working my account got terminated without my fault.I completed all my order following all the instructions correctly but then also it terminated...the reason they gave for termination is frequent reach drop breaches but nothing happened likewise.i was doing my duty accurately.Please kindly look into this matter and help me with to reactivate my account as soon as possible...Its urgent as it is my only source of income.
