So i ordered a pizza on zomato and 40 minutes later, the delivery executive calls me to tell me that i should cancel my order because the restaurant does not have the dish i ordered. I asked him about the refund and he said it will be given. I cancelled my order and contact them about the refund to which they reluctantly refused saying i cancelled it because of my personal motive and the refund will be not be given. The behaviour of the support chat wasn't cooperative.
Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Please help in getting the refund for the wrong order placed and the same is applied without promo.

I have paid 500++ kindly do the needful.

The food that was provided was not even properly made. The ingredients were totally bad and was having a bad smell. Whole food was even not packed properly whole food was spilled all over the box. Very bad service from zomato. And no contact option has been given to complain for the food that was given.

    I order food through zomato and during booking i am traveling.

    I added my delivery address but zomato app shown delivery location from where i booked order not on exact resident address.

    I got call from zomato for address confirmation so i confirmed and that boy also imformed yea i know this address.

    After 20 min i got call from zomato and they are telling your locatoon on app is diffrent and your address is diffrent so inable to deliver the food.

    So requested to cancel the amount and refund money so they replied no. We can not cancel the order nor any refund. You come to our location to collext the food.

    Now in this way they are fooling the peoples to make money. Now where is my food and money. I lost both.

    I need my money back. So raised this complaint

      I had ordered food from aj foods on 23 november and made an online payment.
      But i cancelled it in 5 minutes before the food hadnt been started to be made.
      Its been more than a week now and i havent received the refund, on chatting with the zomato chat in the app they said there is no refund policy. My friends have received payment after cancellation so why cant i receive it too.
      Please look into the matter

        First thing they served me food with insect then they denied to refund on main source. Then they agreed to refund by promo code. They given me promo code of 320 rs for one time use. I used this promo code and ordered something with 159 rs but they used whole 320 rs promo code for this. This means i lost 161 rs. Then they agreed to give me another promo code of 161. And then they given me promo code of 16 rs. I thought they had typo mistake. Then they agreed that they will return 145 rs. After one and half month of follow up now they are saying we have given best possible resolution.

        I want my money back on my account. Got worst support ever following up this from last 1.5 months

          I had an order of 219 rupees on zomato. The restaurant canceled after 2 hours. Meanwhile the restaurant provided me a promo of rs. 100 as compensation for delay. When i canceled the order they only refunded rs. 119, saying that promo has the other rs. 100. I haven't used the promo and when i asked them to cancel the promo they denied. It's clearly a fraudulent practice because we can use only one promo per order. If i get full refund then i can order a dish of rs219+ (Promo, usually rs. 75) but now i cannot avail the value of other promo. They haven't even delivered the order. I'm just asking my money back for a purchase i didn't receive and now my money is stuck

            I had purchased zomato gold when i saw offer on zomato app saying you will get upto 200 credit for current order and rs.1000 cashback as additional zomato credits.
            For total i should get 1200 zomato credit but i haven't got any.
            I tried contacting them from 6 days.
            Now they stopped responding to my mails and messeges.

              I am trying to contact this fraud company zomato from the moment i placed the order via their app which was luring me to buy zomato gold service for cashback.
              I took snapshot of the offer and purchased the service.
              But after that i am been sent from pillar to post for my money.
              I have been intensively trying to contact them but have even stopped responding to my msgs on chat.
              On email i am only getting auto reply.
              I am attaching the chat transcript.
              Kindly stop this company from any promotion and company like these should be penalized by govt.
              I am adding snapshot evidence and also chat transcripts.

                The worst food delivering app. They didnt even deliver incase there is any change in the address. Also the problem is with them, i have entered the right address but the delivery boy took it to another place (I jave the screen shot of my address entered) and declined the order without informing. They reject the order once the payment is taken from customer. They even refused to refund the amount for not delivering the food. Which means the customers will loose the cash also they wont receive the food.

                    Please find my order number [protected]. I have ordered a food incorrectly in the restaurant bbq this is the first experience across and immediately i have called to the restaurant and cancelled the order and they replied as ok we have not prepared yet and you can cancel at your end in the application itself.

                    After disconnecting the call i have done that to without reading fully in a hurry you can see the time of acceptance since it's pre designed template's.

                    Order cancelled but the amount which i paid for the order not refunded i was wonder and start to contact customer service but unfortunately you do not have customer service through call and they ready to chat not in a helping way.

                    Why i am saying this i was clear about my mistake it was a human error i didn't notice the penalty since it's pre designed template's and i was in a rush to cancel the order but they not considering and responding the same that not possible for the reversal.

                    My genuine request was denied at your chat people and i am very fed up about the service provided by your chat people not considering a genuine request.

                    If your customer not had the food but paid the bill, do you think is that a kind of service you looking for then it's really pathetic.

                        Once i ordered and billed for 326rs. I never received the food. Restaurant phone number wasnt working. Zomato valet first said he is on the way. After two hours he said that he didn't received any order in my name/ from that restro. Zomato chat doesnt work. My money gone. I compalimed thru feedbacks and emails. Nothing yet.
                        Another 160rs. Refund not intiated yet. Restaurant coudnt fullfil my order hence they had cancel. I got looted lol.

                          Food was ordered from domino's nagarabhavi, bengaluru through zomato on order id:[protected].
                          Three items were ordered where i received only one of it. On call they said amount of other two would be refunded in next 10 days as the items weren't available at that point of time. It's been 10 days no refund has happened. The person in contact has also blocked my number.
                          It's been the irresponsibility of zomato and domino's to satisfy their customers and cheat them.

                            I received the order as attached in screenshot after 2 + hours. As zomato doesn't deliver to our address i had to go to another place. My friend from work had also ordered stuff so he had asked me to receive it too. I was handed over a package by zomato boy after 2 hours and when i checked it the items didn't have whole tandoori murg so i told zomato that my order is wrongly showing delivered. But to my surprise it was actually my order and it had no items from my order. I tried clicking different options on zomato but the chat agent never came and only email option was left. I had ordered stuff what i liked to eat. I don't eat biriyani at night but the order contained 2 biriyanis and masala naan and chicken masala. Chicken masala was the only item that was wrong but i would have eaten.. But that was also spilled and smelled like hell. To my utter disappointment my night was ruined. I have ordered stuff from zomato many a times but such thing has opened my eyes about online fraud. As you guys are behind some computer screen.. I can't hold you responsible for that.

                              On 26th november i ordered food on zomato. When the delivery guy came he told the food contents had spilled into the delivery bag. I returned the food immediately to him and cancelled the order. I also sent an email and informed the chat support about this. After several complaints via more emails and chats i have not received any refund yet. Do not order from zomato. They are not bothered about customers. They only want to make money. Most selfish.
                              I am zomato gold member and in the past also i gave very constructive feedback to zomato but they just do not care. They neither give any refund nor change their bad attitude. Very poor service. Waste of money and time.!!

                                  Hi. As a concerned user i want to notify you that today at 3:51am an incident took where where i was returning home from work. A zombie executive wearing a red zomato jacket on a grey n black slender bike verbally and almost physically abused my cab mate who was a female. A man was obviously drunk and was unnecessarily trying to cause a fight with the driver. He used disgusting slangs on us and unluckily i couldn't get the number plate.                                     I have been repeatedly contacting zomato over 'chat service', email, instagram, and even calls to India to follow up on a simple request and query but unfortunately I have not received any valid response or understanding of the matter. I had a 'Gulf News' coupon of AED 100 off on zomato gold membership which I tried many times today to use and get the gold membership but unfortunately the payment didnt get processed. After multiple tries, finally the payment was processed without the coupon being applied and I was debited AED 175 from my account when I could have just paid AED 75 for the same. Please note that the only reason i even applied for a gold membership is because i had the coupon. Now, I face a big issue where none of your representatives seem to be helpful. They are saying that they cannot do anything from their end once the payment is processed. My question is, how does the payment get declined on a smaller amount and get processed when the amount is more than doubled. Please look into this as my entire day has gone in speaking to your representatives who were not at all helpful. This is about customer service and experience. So far my experience has been completely ruined with this experience. Hoping to get support on the matter.

                                        According to the contract act the menu offered by the restaurant is an invitation to an offer so in the same way zomato restaurant menu was an invitation to an offer so so after the invitation to an offer the buyer offers the restaurant to deliver and then if the restaurant accepts the offer there is a promise and consideration between both the parties and there is contract made if if any party violates the contract then aggrieved party compensate.
                                        The same thing happened with me the restaurants menu was the invitation to offer and i accepting the invitation to offer and i myself started the offer of delivering my food and the offer for accepted by the restaurant and then the consideration was made and if the restaurant does not there was my food he has violated the contract.
