In ref. To above subject, we have ordered via zomato having order id-[protected]. After receiving the food, we find in stale condition and not suitable for human consumption.

We then raised query on zomato support and without providing any further assistance, i was informed to mail the said query on reg mail-id.

As per the requirement we have done the mailing process and generated id-2341916 and today they were asking for photo of stale food.

As per normal process either the food is consumed if fresh or else thrown into dustbin. Zomato instea asking for 4 days back stale food photo for monetary compensation.

Further zomato support on the day of order did mot allow to sent picture and now for non-refund of the stale food items, zomato at its own discretion asked for photos.

It seems zomato is not looking towards grievance of customer by first not taking ownership for providing stale food. Afterwards asking irrelevant photo which has no connection to determine whether food is stale or not.

We once again in the interest of customer submits that kindly process refund as soon as possible

    Hello,

    I placed order for 10 chapathis from hotel kolhapuri & had opted for home delivery option. However, the hotel owner said that is is for self pickup. So i cancelled the order. I had asked for a refund of 140 rs now.

    The reply i got from zomato was :

    We have introduced new policies which include that if the order gets cancelled post acceptance then cancellation charges equal to the order value gets levied as the food is already prepared and we do not support food wastage on our platform. Since we've checked that you were already informed about the cancellation charges by our chat support team. Hence, a refund for this order won't be possible from our end.

    My point is :

    Since the mistake was from the restaurant owner, i had to cancel with no other option left. I had opted for home delivery, but the owner said it was for self pick-up. Who can be so foolish to go to a hotel which is like 8 or 9 kms away just to pick-up chapatis? I think the owner did not want to send his delivery boy so far for such a low amt... By playing the blame game, u guyz are just extracting money in any which way possible.

    And one more oder which was cancelled by the hotel only after which i got a sms from zomato saying that the refund of 98 would be credited back to my card within 7 working days. Today is the 7th day and still not a word about refund. Shameful that u guyz operate in such manner without any professional ethics. If still some left, do revert back with the needed solution.

      I am working in zomato as a runner partner for past 7 months... Before 2months back, zomato treats runner partners equally and spilit the orders equally. I am happy with zomato.

      But now a days i am not happy with working in zomato as a runner partner.. Because zomato seeing partiality among the runner partners... They are not assigning orders properly for old runner partners. They concentrate only new joiners/cycle runner partners.

      They are not spiliting the orders equally. They assign more orders and gives priority only for new joinees/cycle runners. They can earn more.

      But old runner partner like me cant able to earn atleast reasonable payout for their efforts. Because of very less orders, we are getting very very less payout even if we are working 16hours in a day (Double working hours). It leads to waste of time.

      Zomato is using the old runner partners only for long distance orders (Like more than 10kms) and for excess orders.

      I request zomato to treat runner partners equally and assign orders equally and assign long distance orders for cycle partners also (They are using bikes instead of cycle.. Please monitor that also)

      Kindly take action on priority basis as soon as possible. Otherwise this problem will moves as serious issue among runner partners.

        My name is samim mondal, i join zomato june 2019, i work sincerely in zomato, but last one month zomato deactivate lots of i'd, 11/12/2019 - afternoon 12:00 when i log in my i'd there was showing "user not authorized" that surprised me because total 12 hours i work properly and last 2 month i work each and every day not even leave a single day, then i decided to go zomato office to clarification, when i am on road suddenly zomato office send me a sms that, in my i'd some cancellation in last week that's why they deactivate my i'd and a deduction 889 rupee from my previous week payout, but last week i don't cancel any order, and 2 to castomare cancel there order for wrong location, but that is not my fault, 1:30 pm i visit in zomato office, office staff told me that wait to 3:00 pm and a office staff "andi" he give us a training at 3:00 pm, and i wait in an waiting room, afternoon 3:30 pm he came to us and told me what's my problem, then i said i don't do any cancellations but my i'd was deactivate, they told me why i don't use tickets, but zomato call support told me don't need to create any tickets because they tickets him self, and that call i record in my mobile, but they told me go back home and visit tomorrow, my house to office distance almost 20 km, so i told him please give me training today and activate my i'd, but they don't listen me and said me go back home, and visit again tomorrow, "andi" train all of zomato delevery boy but send me back home, and another staff mukesh he also shout very badly and send me back home, so i call our tl and give that information to him and go back in home, our tl told me that, don't worry your i'd was activated tomorrow so i came back home, but 2 hours later "mukesh" call me and use all those slung language and told me why i tell our tl, and told me do that ever you want but they don't activate my i'd, i also record that call,
        [protected] that is my zomato i'd please do some thing why mukesh told me like that, i am not a sarvent of mr in educated "mukesh" so why he told me like that, please do some thing, take a strick action against him.

          My name is samim mondal i work in zomato last 7 month, 2 day earlier my i'd is blocked for the reason of order cancellations, but i don't cancel any order any denalil any dispute, i visit zomato salt lake sector v office, and told that my i'd is deactivate and i never do ant fault, but they behave very badly like i am a dog for him, all the office member, specaily muskes and andi they shout very badly and also mukesh call me personally and use slung language, i also record the call recording and i want to send that recording to zomato office, and also they send me a sms that 889 ruppe deduction from my payout, i work really hard, and zomato give me that feedback, i really unhappy please do some thing.

            My order was delayed but zomato refused to refund amount saying it's just 9 min delay. What's use of promise if it's not kept.in ad they show if it's not in time it's free n now they say it's not in policy. Plz give some respect to time. 9 min is much more late.
            Plz do something i[censored] really exist.

              On 30th november, i had tried to order online with shah ghouse cafe & restaurant however my payment got failed but amount has been deducted 181 rupees.

              Again i tried and payment got failed and again my amount got deducted 181 rupees.

              I wrote 3-4 mails on their escalation id [protected]@zomato.com they informed we will received the refund in 5 to 7 working days however i haven't got any response or refund yet.

              Even chat support also is not working there is no way to communicate with them or any number to call for complains

              Please have a look into issue and refund the amount as soon as possible.

                I had cancelled this order ([protected], on 1st december 2019) as their delivery guy had delivered it to some other address and he came to deliver only one item (With the opened packet). And i did not receive it as it was not my complete order. I had a chat with their support executive on the app on the same day (1st december 2019) and on their behest had cancelled the order. Their support executive said that they have initiated the refund for the cancelled order and asked me to place a new order which i did.

                However, i have not received the refund yet. Now enquiring about the status on the refun, they say that they cannot refund as i had cancelled the order.

                This is pathetic service. It is like they saying i have to pay for the mistake their delivery guy did by delivering the order to someone.

                I am really disappointed and i will never use their app again

                  Hi Team,

                  I have placed an cake order on last Saturday with cake square. Order ID : [protected]

                  But the cake was delivered in very poor condition. it spilled all over the cover and half of the cake was displaced. I already shared the picture with chat support.

                  We was very disappointed on the birthday and i reported that immediately with chat support. but it doesn't seems they are caring for customer value. just thinking giving some money (85 rs) back will cool the customer.

                  On the birthday, the whole family was expecting curiously for the cake, finally what we received was a worthless cake which is not at all prefer to cut for birthday. We cant see even a single birthday wish letter on top of the cake, since everything spilled! The customer support is not at all helpful. We were helpless and what we did finally was we went to some nearby shop immediately by person and bought a second cake.

                  The whole family was disappointed and very depressed by Zomato.

                  Chat service also not helpful, i sent the same mail to [protected]@zomato.com on 9th Dec. I didn't receive any response yet from them as well.

                  At least may i get some solution here?

                    I had ordered 4 burger from Burger King using Zomato. The rider went to some other location and said its not deliverable because of gps issue. I asked them for a refund but they declined to give me. I placed another order and the rider declined to deliver saying his bike is punctured. Zomato is stealing money from customers in this way to cover their losses.

                      Yesterday night i have ordered palak paneer from wht a dish restaurant. The item didn't not get delivered and when i am trying to call delivery boy he didn't responded and switch off his mobile later. Even i didn't get any response from support team also when i contacted them. I didn't get refund also. Instead i got the response that the order has been delivered and rate us. This is ridiculous.                         I have order food item from zomato on 08/12/2019 having order id-[protected]. The food was stale and bad in quality.

                        I communicate the said fact about food item to zomato via support system, where they asked me to communicate the same on zomato's registered mail id.

                        After that, i mailed the said facts on 08/12/2019. The ticket id is 2341898 for grievance of stale food and asked for refund.

                        Zomato assured me to look after the matter within 24 to 48 business hours. Till date no communication has either received rom zomato regarding my complaint.

                        Hello, I ordered a fully loaded pizza and I canceled the pizza. The payment was also deducted from Paytm. Now after canceling my order, the money did not come back.
                        Ordered food from Mcdonalds through Zomato.

                        Valet came with a bottle of water instead of the food ordered.
                        Mcdonalds employee cant find the order as well it seems
                        Zomato valet was rude and noone to take responsibility
                        Nowhere to call or lodgge a complaint for zomato

                          Ordered a foot long chicken club sub & it was not as per order list of items i had asked for. It had no proper veggies, sauces, & cheese, overall it was very very dry, & not as per standards of subway worldwide. This sub was ordered from the subway in dahisar west, mumbai. My order wasplaced at 2251hrs through zomato. Now when i contacted the store the attendant was very blunt & uncourteous & said to contact zomato as they would do the refund. As i see it the sub was prepared by subway & zomato was only delivering the sub. I would like some action to be taken as this is something to do with the standard of subway, & a refund for the same to me.

                            I ordered a rajma chawal from a restaurant... The taste of the is the worst and the rajma is undercooked... It is very hard... It has no taste. I have chat with the zomato also and they did not take any action of it... I didn’t eat the food. Can take it back if you want... This is very annoying.. No contact numbers no customer care number nothing... Worst app it is...

                              I have placed an order on zomato (Order - id : [protected]) and paid 604 rs via paytm. I cancelled the order in next 2-3 minutes as i forgot to apply the coupon payzapp30 (To save the amount 125 rupees with the coupon).

                              Here my intention is to save a big 125 rupees. But zomato support team is telling it can't refund my cancelled order amount 604rs. I requested them to re initiate the order in case if they can't/don't want to refund my amount, and to my surprise support team said they can't even re initiate the order.

                              How come zomato takes the complete order amount as cancellation amount?
                              Why they don't give the option of re initiate the order when they can't/don't want to refund my amount)

                              My intention is so clear from the new order (Order - id : [protected]) [placed the same item from same restaurant to the same location from zomato with payzapp30 coupon code] to save amount but not with any other intention.

                              I request zomato to look into this genuine case and refund my amount 604rs to regain the customer faith in zomato

                                Description - i ordered food item worth inr 217 from zomato. But, the order which i received - one of the key ingredients 'sweet' was missing. I reported this at the point of delivery. Zomato customer care said that they will resolve this. I asked them either they can give me the missing item asap or they can take back the order and refund the amount or properly compensate as the item became cold. I didn't get resolution that day and the order was a waste.

                                After that, despite sending so many emails and chat, i still haven't received any resolution. Customer care keep saying please wait for 2 hours and after that they will send an email saying 'feedback has been shared with the restaurant'. They are just making fools out of the customers.

                                I am so frustrated because of this and have wasted a lot of time. I will request you to look into this matter. It's not just about money, its the immense frustration that the customer care has given to me. Regards

                                  Order No : [protected], [protected], [protected]. All amounts deducted, yet no refund initiated. A complete farce of a company, no customer service, pathetic service and don't get me started on the scale of a scam this is.

                                  Hope to never encounter such scams in my life.

                                  This is the third time they have scammed me in such a manner. A piece of advice for people out there, don't order anything off of it.

                                    I ordered one food item from one of the restaurants available on zomato. I added the items in the cart and by mistake pressed order now option. I went to the support section just after i realized that the order got placed, told them that i want this order to be cancelled. As requested they cancelled my order but refused to give me any refund. Just within 5 minutes they refused to refund because according to them once the order is placed the money cannot br refunded. I want to ask if that refund is not available for cancellations in all situations, why do they even have a cancel option there. A dupport executive even false promised me that the money would be refunded within 2 days but still i have not received any response.

                                      Rm13501 is a employee code name is minaz this person had not delivered the order at proper delivery address and i have not received my cash for what i was charged. I ordered pizza from caprina dahisar west. And he is least bother to solve and not listening at all very rude.

                                      I need a refund and action taken and also the acknowledgement.

                                        They delivered my burger order in 75 minutes instead of the estimated 30 minutes.

                                        On complaining the chat exec said they give multiple deliveries so it gets late.

                                        When i mentioned the missing pepsi they kept going around in circles till i wouldn't give up.
                                        The only response i kept getting in "shall i add the promo code to your account?"

                                        When i got upset and stopped chatting the exec kept harassing me and stalking me by sending messages
