Amount to be refunded Rs376.
Placed an order and made the payment online. The restaurant later cancelled the order and Zomato assured me that the amount would be refunded.
I initially contacted Zomato on chat support and they assured me the amount would be refunded in 48 hrs.
However, it's been over a week and Zomato has simply chosen to ignore the emails I've sent them asking for an update on the refund.
Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    I had ordered and veg xinger whooper burger from zomato from the restaurant named fries 4 u
    But i received a non - veg burger.

    After complaining about it to zomato i have received a reply that this burger is available only in non veg variant which is wrong. I have screenshots of the menu showing xinger burger as veg burger and also have a screenshot where they have said that this is available only in non veg variant.

    I am not satisfied with their reply. I have faces social embarrassment due to this mistake of theirs and more than that they are not ready to accept their mistake and point the finger on me.

    I need a redressal for this issue since i have been fooled.

    Please help me with a solution as soon as possible.

    Food package received from sree annapoorna gowrishankar has been damaged and food spilt. Customer care dint respond properly. Worst packaging and service from zomato

      Day before yesterday i placed an order from zomato from wrappers but my food contained foreign particle, it contained some broken hair and when i placed a complaint on your platform none of your customer service replied. For that i have send the pictures and i am still waiting for your reply. This kind of services isn't acceptable from zomato and i am going to file i complaint in consumer court if you aren't going to help me

      I have ordered from zomato it was confirmed and i was waiting for delivery but after 15 mins they said could deliver ur order...they played with my hunger..they r very unprofessional
      My order was cancelled by ZOMATO after 50minutes..I contacted them and they promised me 185+46credit on 3rd October...nd the credit is still under process. I contact them daily and the agents ask me to wait for 24-48hours. It's been 16days, they're not responding to my emails as well.

        I am serious harassed by zomato team... They are not giving my money. I ordered food on zomat... Food not came... Money not refund... Atleast they are responding very rude... Please close this fraud app... I was harrassed by zomato... I need to apply harrassment cases on zomato... Still my money not came... Why government is not taking any action on this money collecting app, this is like cheating customers

          I ordered 2 items - 1 pasta and 1 cheese fries. Order i'd: [protected].

          I found an insect in the food. Immediately went to vomit out all i had eaten since morning. Then connected to zomato executive on chat. I wanted a full refund of my order. The executive denied it.

          I was told - there is a bug found in one item so it is not possible that there will be a bug in other item also. So we can only compensate for one item!

          Is zomato's sense of hygiene and basic common sense missing?

          I explained to the executive that i cannot eat anything from the order, so why should i pay for it? Also called the restaurant on the same - they accepted, apologised and willing to refund entire amount. I informed zomato executive that the restaurant has no issues in full refund, then what is zomato's problem with it?

          He insisted i need to share a pic showing another insect in the other item to prove there is an issue. And continued to decline a full refund. He offered some amount as 'promo' — that's clearly not right, is it? No rational human being would accept anything less than a full refund. This is an issue affecting basic health standards and zomato is indirectly suggesting i should accept the second item and consume it - food cooked in an unhygienic restaurant kitchen - because an actual second insect was not found in it!

          No refund initiated yet by zomato in the case.

            From yesterday 19th till today 20th oct i placed two orders. Both of them not delivered and keep me waiting for more than 2hrs. When i called the valet, he said my order got placed to some other valet but on my order tracking screen this valet number was showing. When i told him to get in touch with company and provide update then he told me to provide live location via whats app so that he can deliver the food. What kind of cheat is this, previously he said he do not have my order now he is ready to deliver my food or refund. And when i reported this to customer care
            Customer care did not take any action on this. And order got cancelled and no money has been refunded yet. This is second consecutive issue and for any of the issue they did not refund my order nor compensate anything.

              Food not delivered. Even not able to contact customer care executive. There is no proper service. We have been waited for 2hr but no response.
              We have given food order using zomato application. The restaurant accepted the request and one zomato valet also assigned. But since we have been waited 2hr. Not got food delivered hence, called to restaurant to check the status of my order. They confirmed it's picked up by zomato guy. But when we called to deliver boy he denies it. After that we are trying to reach zomato customer service but no one responds. It's very dissatisfied and disappointed ever received from zomato. Earlier chat service also working fine but this time that also not working. Please return our money as it was high amount paid for food.

                I had ordered food from chef alladin, garia, kolkata. My payment to zomato was successful through paytm showing paid 125.18 to zomato. But order was not placed. I contacted the restaurant and they verified that no order was placed. Order no.-[protected].
                Right now i demand money refund.
                I need to advise my friends and others to uninstall this app and instead use other better food apps until and unless i get a refund.

                  Hi, i ordered food from zomato from restaurant la pinoz on 17 october at 8:23 pm order no: [protected], and i waited for like 1 and half hour then i got the delivery boy’s number and he left restaurant at 9:30 and i called him and ask to deliver it quickly because it’s already 9:30 and after that he didn’t picked up call and after some time his phone got switched off, i didn’t get to contact him, till 3am zomato showed 15 mins away and in morning i checked they said food is delivered but i didn’t get food and i already had paid for the order. This is not acceptable, i even mailed support system but no reply. What can i do now, my money time all got wasted. Many times zomato deliver food cold as ice, many times in bad conditions and they dont even provide contractor whom we can ask or contact about our problem and dont even reply on mail.

                    I had placed an order via zomato on 01/10/2019 but the food was not delivered and i had made the payment online. I was refused a promo code for a fresh order when i was clearly entitled to and they denied me a replacement order. They had also promised me a "refund" of the amount that i had paid. I have the screenshots to back my claims. I was not provided the refund and instead, they have credited the amount to my zomato app. I am so unhappy with the customer service that i do not wish to place any further orders and i want my money back. This is pure bullying from the online service. I have already complained a week ago but received no resolution

                      They have charged me and they just notified in the app which was not visible and they have charged me and not refunded anything. They said that they tried contacting me. They lied to me that they have called me. I was unresponsive... They have cancelled the order and took the food for themselves i have been trying to communicate with the zomato.. They have not responded to anything

                        Hi team,

                        This is to keep you informed that on 15-oct i have purchased food from "the messy door" after 20 min i have received call back from this number — [protected] from restaurant and the person has told me to cancel the food as due to electricity issue they are to process my order... Then i have cancelled order. I am attaching the screen shot of my chats with your executive he has told me that i will get the refund in 24 to 48 hours but till now i haven't received my refund.

                          I have placed an order with gherlin cafe and patiisser, amount is deducted from my account and the order is not placed. When tries to communicate zomoto executive through chat,, there is no facility to communicate with you.. And u simply eating my amount unethically, it happened with previous order also, i placed an order with subbaiahhotel, they sent me wrong item, but guyz damn unbother to care about this issue no one will be right away to look inyo this issue and will take 24 to 48 hours.. Now im done with zomoto uninstalling your app and

                              I have ordered and the address in map was wrong but what i have written was absolutely correct. They cancelled the order without my concern as their delivery partner was making excuses for not delivering the product. Even though i offered and requested that i'll pay extra money but please deliver the food but there is no humanity but only the fraudulent activity prevails. Instead of providing solutions they just get away with my money saying strict non refundable policy but no strict customer service policy. Their app's map didn't take my address properly but i was held responsible for that and i didn't get my food as well as my money. They torture their customers physically and financially both. I would like that some strict action should be taken against such companies.

                                Have clearly ordered the food in the screenshot below. But your so called dumb fellow says it is 3 parota and dal for this combo. And the order was delivered with spilled package and right away i have sent the pctured on chat online.

                                But no response. I have kept the food which was ordered in the same way. And expect refund.

                                Please inform your cs not to fool customers saying that it's written the same as restaurant guy says.

                                Ultimately restaurant guy accepted on call that was his mistake.

                                Now they proudly say we displayed something and deliver something. Customers had to accept what they deliver

                                  I had ordered food on 12.10.2019 and also made advance payment of rs.286 through my credit card. However after some time on the said date i received a messay with respect to cancellation of my order. Thereafter i chat with the customer care through zomato application the reason was given to me that the restaurant was closed. However i called the same restaurant but the was opened. But when this fact apprised to the customer care and he again retrited the same fact and further aasured me that money paid by me to be refunded. But neither food was delivered nor my money was refunded as assured me. This is a highly unprofessional. Please take appropriate action against them as i am suffering without any reason.

                                    This is regarding my order number [protected] and the unfair services of your delivery guys.

                                    The delivery guy did not come to home, called and said he is not getting the delivery address went ahead and cancelled the order. He called at 8.56 and i returned back his call at 9.05 where he is telling that i have canceled the order since i didn’t get your address. For this zomato has canceled the order with reason that i am not reachable. Can zomato please explain how customer is responsible if the delivery guys doesn’t get address in the era of google maps.

                                    Is zomato using such delivery guys to loot money from his customer???

                                    Want strict actions against zomato for looting money under name of delivery service and against the delivery guy.

                                      On[protected] ordered mutton biryani from hotel alpha (Jagadamba junction) of vizag and delivery address was clearly mentioned along with the flat no, as per the delivery person he tried calling as phone is not reachable he didn't delivered please note we are there in home no one came for delivery, as we called for refund zomoto care was saying that they unable to refund the money, didn't understand whats the if address was clearly mentioned why cant they deliver direct to given address

                                        I have placed an order from eat. Fit at 8 pm and pretty soon the valet calls me up to ask for my address. I respond with my address and the delivery time is mentioned as 23 minutes. I wait for 45 mins and the status is unchanged so i use the app to find out and they suggest i call up the valet. I call him up and he's home and he refuses to leave. This doesn't make sense to me as i still do not know what happened to my order, i try getting in touch with customer service but they are unhelpful as the only way you have it in the app for me to get in touch with someone is if i cancel the order. How the hell can you put the customer in a position where the only way he can talk with a human about his order is if he cancels? To make things worse your customer service was completely useless and behaved like an actual bot. This is hands down the worst experience i have had with zomato and you have not only wasted my time but stolen my money for it and tried to justify doing it. Wow! The useless valet in this is basavaraj hanamshetty[protected] he has been with you guys for a month and if this is the kind of people you hire as valets, i should stop using zomato altogether.

                                        Give me a resolution, this is not justifiable to steal money from customers and assign valets that will not leave their home to do their job and the food just stays there while you zomato, do not even give either an update on status or a real person to talk to - the limited options you have on chat for having an issue with the order is not good enough at all.
