My order id 1584673 in zomato was never delivered. The order was of rs 147. After constantly pinging them, every time they ask me to wait for 24 to 48 hours for the payment to be reflected in my account as they have released the money. But it's been more than a week now, and still i have not received my money. I have sent countless mails to the customer care, they send me a reply asking me to again wait for 24-48 hours.

I want my money back.

    I have not received my refund of the amount deducted from my account for the orders which were not completed because of payment failure due to some error at your site.
    Two consecutive transactions failed and amount was debited from my account. Transactions were made on 21/9/2019

    For first transaction which failed, rs 100 were debited,
    For second transaction which failed rs 100 was debited.
    And your support team is not able to provide any solution about this, one of the support team member was saying that the transactions were failed from paytm side, and the truth is i was not using paytm that time to make transaction. Its been almost 15 days and support team even not responding to my mails now.

      I ordered but i paid twice via card first time it was unsuccessful but for the second time it was successful then i got sms like two times but as real it only happens for one time so please refund my extra money back as soon as possible because with my lots of work and appreciation i earn my money how can you take my money twice when the server say one time unsuccessful and the second time unsuccessful so kindly refund my money as soon as possible i request you for refunding my money back.

        I have ordered food from fusion foods (Subhash nagar new delhi) on 03 oct 2019 at 11:20 pm and paid the requested money. After some time i contacted zomatoo delivery man to ask status and i was shocked that the delivery man said your order will be not delivered then i contacted zomattoo support and zomattoo support person says that your address is wrong and i live on this address from last 3 years. And they canceled my order from zomatto side say in that your money will be not refunded as food is processing. I'm still unable to et tis.
        So i want my money back from zomatto.

          I ordered some food at Zomato on 2nd October 2019 when I traveled on doonexpress, I clearly mentioned my delivery point address also the time mentioned in the addressee.

          Zomato create my order and cancelled it without my knowledge and refuse to refund my money. Also there chatting team politely trying to confess me that this is my faults also thay trying to confessed to reorder the same.

          I have two point.

          1. If thay are not delivered the food at the given address which I provide. Then why thay didn't cancelled the order first place and refund my money?

          2. If thay don't provide the food at the delivery address then why the chatting team confessed me to reorder the same food?

          3. Why thay cancelled my food whithout my knowledge and didn't my money refund?

          4.why the rider boy switch off is Mobile? So I can't contact him?

          5 why chatting team trying to confess my to reorder food so I lost my money same as previously?

            I am extremely sorry to say this that your company is a big time fraud and cheater.

            I placed an order and later on I got to know that I have placed the order for wrong item so I wanted to make some changes in that I approached both Zomato and restaurant but no onen helped me and there was option coming in to cancel the order though my order was not yet even prepared so I cancelled the order with a thought I will get my money back.

            I spoke to one executive over the chat and I got to know that entire amount will charged as penalty since I have requested to cancel the order.

            This is really rediculous as I have never heard with any other company like this and now I want that same amount back else I am going to consumer forum, plus I will ofcourse put all this on social media and make ZOMATO'S name worst

              My order No [protected] . i ordered food on zomato at 2nd oct 19 10.30pm but my order not delivered.after place order i call to deliver boy who switched off their mobile and at night 12 pm i waited to that food but not deliver after 1 pm in zomato App show the order is delivered .while the payment of order deducted while ordered .
              Zomato have any such a good policy and know the Customer value .your employee cheat both Company and Customer .tell me one thing while i had not Receive the order then how you show "your order is Deliver" is there any confirmation policy from customer like OTP . plz return my money ASAP.

                Hi,

                I have placed an order from tasty bites restaurant, bypass road, ashoka enclave part ii, sector 37, faridabad, haryana on 2nd october 2019 at 20:10. I placed an order, the delivery person picked up the order from the restaurant but did not deliver it to my given address. When i contacted to zomato chat they cancelled and said that the money will refunded till 11th october 2019. This is second time that delivery person did not deliver food to my address.

                My point is that if delivery person swicth of his phone zomato guys are helpless to track him, zomato ever think that it is serious security concern.

                Appreciate your prompt and positive action and refund my money as soon as possible.

                  This is regarding my zomato app order id: [protected] date: 28 sep, 2019 from kfc, elements mall, thanisandra, nagawara, bengaluru, karnataka, india.

                  I am charged with a cancellation charges of inr. 1256/- because ur food delivery rider tried contacting me on phone and i was not reachable.

                  I have been continuously writing to zomato orders support team and they have been giving me a standard reply (Which according to me is kind of faked or bots) that as per new zomoto order cancellation policy u have been levied this cancellation charges.

                  I have been asking ur support team only few simple questions for which i haven’t still received a reply. According to me a satisfied customer is ur brand and not otherwise. Either ur support team and their managers is not well trained to offer the best customer experience or u guys take this market for granted (Sab kuch chalta hai, yeh india hai).

                  My question to the team were;
                  1. Refer to ur app, wherein i had updated my mobile number to my india number [protected]. This was done long back. So ur app should have picked my this india number, instead the app picked my dubai number[protected] for this particular kfc order. I did no manual intervention to change.
                  2. My address is so clear in the order that ur competitors like swiggy, bbdaily etc... Don’t have any problem delivering me the stuff. They deliver without even calling, as the order has very clear flat number and address details. The security doesn’t stop, because ur order delivery paper is clear.
                  3. Ur app clear takes the rider person to the building.
                  4. My building has a security gate and they check for details. Seems ur rider never contacted the security gate. Instead he was just trying to call the number.
                  5. We have a apna complex app for the building and we get notifications i[censored]r rider had tried contacting us from the gate.
                  6. Our security gate, in case of doubts even tries calling my house intercom to allow the delivery. This also did not happen. Ur rider never even approached the security gate, otherwise we would have got a call from the gate.
                  7. When the food delivery was cancelled, i went personally to the gate and checked if somebody approached with a food parcel from zomoto - kfc. They said no records. We have cctv footage to prove my case, that ur rider never approached the gate.
                  8. Then i went to kfc to check if my food has been returned or left there by the rider, because i was not reachable on phone. Kfc after thorough checking clearly said no parcel has come back.
                  9. I contacted zomoto customer support and got the rider number to check the status so i can go and collect from him.
                  10. Firstly ur rider said he gave it back to kfc store, which is exactly 2 minutes from my home.
                  11. Then the very supportive kfc manager called the rider and threatened him. He said to the rider that they checked the cctv footage and he has have never come back again to return the food parcel. So why r u lying and then ur rider agreed that he has eaten the food.
                  12. My big question is, when the whole event happened in less than 30 minutes o[censored]r rider cancelling & me visiting the kfc store and ur rider got chance to finish my food which is generally ordered for 4 people.
                  13. Ur rider lied at the first place, which is a clear violation and effecting ur company will image.
                  14. How can ur driver eat my food without permission.
                  15. Why the food was not returned to kfc store? Kfc store confirmed that lot of riders are using then loophole in the system and eating away customers food. Seems the rider just waits for the customer not to pick the phone, so they can cancel and eat away the food. They keep on receiving such complaints. It’s a clear case of fraud and cheating and mistrust. Ethics is important for any business.
                  16. Why the food was not left at the security gate of my building?
                  17. Why no action was taken on the rider
                  Nagesh [protected]? The rider started arguing and said u complain anywhere sir i don’t care?
                  18. Why the customer service guys were able to understand my basis question about checking zomoto app for number confirmation, rider penalty, customer experience etc...

                  In lieu of the above, i want a written confirmation that either my fault or zomoto app fault and reversal of my amount.

                    I have placed an order from shah ghouse restaurant on 2nd october 2019 at 11:27. The order at first got cancelled. The second time i placed an order, the delivery person picked up the order from the restaurant but did not deliver it to my given address. He cancelled the order without my permission and did not answer my calls after that and put the cancellation fee on my name. I kindly request you to waive of my cancellation fee since the delivery person you have appointed has cheated me. Please don’t hire delivery executives that cheat on your customers just for food.

                    I order food through zomato everyday but never expected this kind of behaviour from your delivery person. I humbly request you to waive off my cancellation fee as my lunch and dinner happens to be through zomato everyday. And because of this cancellation fee i’m unable to place further orders.

                    Appreciate your prompt and positive action.

                      Sir, i have ordered domino's pizza through zomato app on 02nd october 2019 at 8.56pm. As per there msg we should get the food by 9.26pm. Now it is 9.51. Still they have not deliver the food for my family.. I tried calling the domino's contact number they are not picking the call and the chat option iin the zomato is pathetic.. My son was slept without having dinner. There is no responsibility to inform the customer about the delivery.. If it is not possible to deliver the food they should have informed in prior.. Now also the status showing the food being prepared

                        I ordered food worth rs 156 but i was not delivered the food and the valet alleged that he called me several times and i didnot pick up but it is not true...when i talked to the delivery executive requesting for a refund since it was none of my fault, he replied in the very unprofessional manner.The screenshots of which i am attaching below.                           Order I'd is attached. I ordered 2 masala dosa at om sweets sector 23 gurgaon at 7.30 pm through zomato & paid through netbanking. Firstly order was confirmed then got a call from zomato side that masala dosa is out of stock at om sweets & the order is declined. I went to om sweets & have purchased same 2 masala dosa & got these packed. Zomato is just playing with emotions of common man & also using customers money for 7 days then they refund money I.e. if they will refund that has to be seen. Zomato needs to be fined for falsehood & if they can't fulfill orders their licence should be cancelled

                            I ordered food on Zomato and I applied promocode for the same

                            For the payment I attached my paytm wallet

                            What happened is after applying promocode I saw the revised amount and after payment the actual amount was deducted from my paytm wallet.

                            I try to cancel it and report an issue, but cancellation is not possible.

                            I got a call back and the representative told that is due to a technical issue that promocode is not applied to the order and she promised to send the discount amount to my wallet.

                            That didn’t happen and after while I try to reach again seeking about the wallet amount.

                            They are simply saying it is not possible and they don’t know who called me.. and they can’t do anything.

                            They are playing with us. One representative promising something and others don’t know and not ready take any further investigation.

                            The second guy whome I chat with made me write this due to his arrogance in speaking to a customer.

                              I have once ordered in ZOMOTO the amout is 313 rs . Due to the issue they are not able to deliver the amount and they have credited the amount in to zomoto account instead of source.

                              After 1 month i tried to order from the zomoto account. i am getting your credits has been expired.

                              How can ZOMOTO Steeling the money from my account saying that it has the validity. i havent seen this type of policy any where.

                                There was transaction amount to rs238/- while placing order there was transaction incomplete so the amount was deducted but oder was not placed... It's more than 8 days but still not received the amount back in the bank account... Also checked with bank... They saying they hv initiated all the amount do wat is pending is the beneficiary bank...                                   I had placed an order on zomato (Order no. [protected]) today - 01st october, 2019 at 10:21 pm but this order was delivered to someone else and the delivery agent made no attempts to contact me. Upon chatting with an advisor, i was informed that nothing could be done except a refund, and no replacement order could be arranged instead. Also, as there was a failed order, i have lost the promo code and this chat agent hasn't tried to help me with that

                                    Good evening sir. We are from coimbatore. We have ordered in zomata for rs151 for naan and paneer butter masala in hot and spicy dhabha restaurant in coimbatore in address we have entered green home ladies hostel but unfortunately it is also added with chinniyampalayam which 6km from green home ladies hostel. Now the person mr bharat who is working here has cancelled the order and have taken our money also without delivering food to us. Reputed company like yours working in this manner makes downgrade to your reputation. If the address is wrong they would have atleast charged extra and has delivered the food or they would have refund the partial money atleast. Now they gave taken mymoney and also they have not delivered food. This shows how your customer service is worst. So we have deleted the app and i too recomend my friends to stop using your app and regarding this. Sorry to say i feel much regret o[censored]sing this app.

                                    Sir I need my money back.
                                    I ordered egg biryani after cutting money from my phone pay walled zomato cancelled. My money was with zomato... Such a big fraud. You cutted money from phone pay first later denied my order 2 times for 312 Rs on[protected]
                                    I had ordered biryani from ahmedabad biryani
                                    I had ordered food from zomato and paid the amount via Google pay. The amount got debited from my account and the Google pay app shows that the amount is paid but the Zomato app shows payment incomplete..When will I be getting the refund? If I don't get a refund I will file a case against this..
                                    Delivery boy just refused to come on my floor as i had given my full address that is third floor casa blanca three. I am valuable customer of zomato since 4-5 months. And this is the response zomaton has given to me.
                                    I ordered food from Zomato but they got one item of it instead of two and promised me to refund the amount but i haven't recieved the amount till now, but they keep saying that they have already refunded the amount

                                      I ordered 26 pieces, i only received 21, i contacted your zomato support but your bot was chatting with me and no was there to listen, then i called restaurant but no response. I am your regular cx and if this will be the support that you are providing then it means your service is degraded. I ordered food for my team and because of you people, i felt embarrassed because of you people. That is the worst experience i had with you.

                                        We ordered a dish from tidetan flavours with delivery address clearly mentioned. But they refused to deliver the order. We contacted zomato customer care (Agent name - rahul) but they informed that they won't deliver the food amd won't refund the paid amount.

                                        Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        The cake we ordered from zomato is totally spilled and mashed, cake order number-[protected], ordered on Date-September 26, 2019 at 8:28 PM, from phone no-[protected], Butterscotch cake 500 gm from pragya cake and bakes, Aligarh, UP.
                                        I ordered one pizaa and waffle from classic 72 Noida sector my amount is deducted of187 from Kotak NetBanking but order not placed.i want my money refund as soon as possible no customer care number is available to contact this company

                                        I have ordered from Leon grill(Marathalli) and cash-176 Rs got debited from my account.
                                        But when I looked for orders -it says payment incomplete.
                                        Either let me know what went wrong or else refund/ help me get my order( Falafel roll).

                                        Money is debited but order is not placed it's not good and I cant afford to buy the same food item again. It's not my fault and responsibility. Money has to be credited back to my bank immediately
