I Ordered food from California Burrito through Zomato, order gets confirmed but the delivery agent does not reach Restaurant at all, after waiting for 45 mins i called the delivery guy he says he is in the petrol station would reach restaurant in 5 mins, after 15 mins i get a message that order is picked up and but it was not delivered even after 40 mins hence i called the guy again he says he cancelled the order and hung up, i called him back he says you can go and collect it i am far from that place.

Then i chat with Zomato they assured a call back in 24 hrs and Refund along with Compensation, but even after 7 days i neither got a call or no response to emails sent to [protected]@zomato.com

    Hi,

    I had ordered the an onion pizza and classic combo- Non veg. The order was of 271 Rs. I ordered the above food item on 3rd September at 11:46 AM. After that I got a call from Domios that the order cannot be delivered as the can't go at this moment. I requested them as I orders for someone's birthday but they said that they cannot deliver and later that on second call they told it is zomatos fault and they have to cancel it from their end as dominos has already cancelled it.I told the domino's associate that the order is pending so they behaved very rudely and cut the line. After few hours I found that the order is still showing as getting prepared on application. As there is no option to call zomato hence I contacted through chat. Three times in the span of 24 hours they told me to call dominos which i told I already did so they said it will be cancelled and the money will be refunded. Please check the screenshot of the untrained zomato associated who are writing contradictory statement to me on the chats. Today is 5th and still the order is showing getting prepared and the order is not even cancelled so how can I expect my money. I dont trust them. Please refund my money back .

      I am a zomato customer. I have ordered chinese food from r p chinese foods, netaji subhash place, pitampura. I have received completely spoiled and stale food which had a foul smell and some of them were uncooked and were having a really bad smell. I wanted to return the order as soon as it got delivers but the executive is not picking up my calls. I have to throw the food. (Order number : [protected]) email id: [protected]@gmail.com

      I need a refund for my order. Let your customer executives discuss this with me and talk to this restraunt chain owner which will lead us to food poisioning.

        Irrelevant answer provided by customer team that your address is wrong delivery guy make it address but couldn't find your address. I was used to order on same address with zomato, this time they saying its wrong address. Pathetic customer service. They have bug in their application.

        They have support on chat but how they call personally cancel the order.

          I order food from a restaurant named santushti in gurgaon, zomato has accepted my order and charged me for it after 10 minutes i got to know that my order has been cancelled by the restaurant as they no longer serve the food i order, i called the support team of zomato and they told me that i'll get my money back within 5-7 days. Is this a way to deal with a customer i order food i neither got my food not my money back, u guys charged in like 2 sec and for refunding you need 5-7 days, i need my money back right now.

            I have ordered a cake from zomato on 23/08/2019 at 12.06 pm the order number is [protected]. The cake was in such a bad condition that i could not even tell you. I had a talk with your deliveryman and asked him about this he said his work is to deliver the package not to see the condition of the package he will not do anything and said he got lots of work to do. This is the service zomato people provides to their clients. I had a chat with your so called “support team” and they only said please mail the respective team they cannot do anything. Wow what a support and they are just clicking the option, which are there on the system whatever you ask they say the same thing.

            After this i had receive a call and e-mail confirming that the amount will be refunded within 5-7 workings days. I have sent a email on 6th day and have received the response to wait for 24 hours. It is more than 24 hours and have sent many e-mails but didn't receive any response from them and also didn't receive the amount.

            Zomato people are just looting their clients

              Being such a great app now Zomato does not allow me to type a complaint on my own it just gives me auto typed answers that is really disappointing... I placed an ordered food and some items were missing from a meal I wanted to register complaint but I can’t...just because many times I complained regarding other orders that were genuine ... Zomato blocked me from adding further complaints.

                Hi,

                I order today on 2nd sept2019 through zomato from samrat sweets manesar amouting rs 189/- paid online. I waited for 15 minutes and then tracked rider on the app. I saw him steady for about 5 mins so i called him and asked him his whereabouts. He told me that he delievered the food to security gaurd as i told him to do so, but i never called him and he cut the phone. I again called him to deliever the food to my address but he start abusing and threatning me and again cut the phone. I called to samrat sweets and they told that this not there concern ask to zomato for this. I feel helpless so i contacted on chat support on which they put a request for the refund which will credit in 5 to 7 days. But this is not the solution of the problem. I feel humiliated.

                  I placed an order today and no order has been placed. No customer care to call. No relevant chat options. Pathetic service. These people should be sued for fraud. I placed an order in morning money was deducted but no confirmation for the order. I tried to chat but just shows two options related to promo codes no other options available, tried contacting customer care number states invalid. Called restaurant but they asking to cancel the order as they haven't received. No option to cancel. Please ban this fraud website. They do not care about customers at all. Pathetic and extremely dissatisfied. I wish i could rate them minus.

                    I am a new zomato customer. I have ordered food chicken biryani from ghungroo restaurant. This is my first ever order on zomato. I have received completely spoiled food which had a foul smell and some of them were uncooked and were having a really bad smell. I wanted to return the order as soon as it got delivers but i the support team was pathetic.

                    I tried contacting the zomato on email but there was no response from them.

                    Is this the kind of service we would expect?

                      I have placed the food order on 23 july 2019, after not receiving the order after expected delivery time.

                      I tried contact the zomato support team via chat and they told me to wait for few additional minutes and your order will be soon at your door.

                      But the order didn't arrive and after few minutes i got the notification that my order got cancelled.

                      After emailing at [protected]@zomato.com, everytime they replied with same template reply.


                      we would like to inform you that according to new policies of zomato if the order gets cancelled because of the customer being unresponsive at the time of delivery, a cancellation charge is levied as the food is already prepared/dispatched.

                      Our delivery executive, as well as our support team, tried reaching out to you multiple times but you were unresponsive to the calls. Hence, the order was cancelled. We would request you to avoid such incidents as it leads to food wastage.


                      In their email they also mentioned that


                      Please be informed that we have introduced new policies to avoid food wastage which includes that if an order is canceled under the customer being unresponsive then a cancellation charge is levied.


                      And as their new policies claim, i was waiting to recieve the food and on not getting the food on time i even tried contacting the zomato team via chat.

                      But the time i ordered the food my phone was not near me to attend any kind of calls that's why i contact the zomato team via chat.

                      On top of that, why does the driver have to call and confirm the address, even though i have already pinpointed my home address inside the app?

                      I might have order the food more than 20 times on the same address, but still i get a call from the driver for address confirmation.

                      I have paid the money for food delivery if the driver is unable to deliver the food, why should i bear the cost of that.

                      Cancelling the order if someone is not able to attend your call is very childish thing, what if there is a network problem, maybe is person is on other call. Based on that you cannot justify that the person is unresponsive.

                        I ordered something and it failed to go through, however the money was deducted from my account, and i still haven't received a refund! It is order number [protected]. I need immediate refund as each rupee is scarce for me and i'm a student. I had used the customer chat option on the app and they said a refund will be initiated but it hasn't. I need that money to pay my college fees and the company is lagging. This is nonsense. Please take appropriate action immediately.

                            When i checked details, i found the restro is from vasant kunj south delhi, whereas my home address is 110094
                            I have called them and they are not ready to listen anything and neither they are redelivering my order and not giving me my money back.
                            Now i don't need the stuff, am looking for money to be refunded.

                              My order number is:[protected] adithi restaurant on 31 aug 2019. I have already mailed my problem i can't be patience anymore. After i have ordered food. Restaurant person called me and said paneer manchuria item i ordered is not there which is 90 rupees and he offered me veg manchurian which is of 60 rupees i said no because i don't want eat it and don't want loose my rupees of 20 too. So, i cancelled my order for that it charged all the money and you people are saying as they got started preparing food which is got wasted, which not happen yet. So i want my money back. I'm fed up with this.

                                  I tried to order food 4 days back. Payment was completed but it shows as transaction failed. So i tried making the payment again same thing happened. Now twice my money has been deducted. When i contact zomato they are not giving me a clear details about the money being refunded. Also its already 4 days and no money has been refunded.
                                  This is not the first time i'm facing this issue

                                    I haven’t received the refund for three orders which got cancelled from zomato’s end as the delivery person wasn’t available at that time. I was told that the refund has been initiated for the three orders and i was even given a rrn number, but my bank has clearly told me that the rrn number has no refunds against it and they haven’t got any money from zomato yet. I got back to zomato through mail about this twice, their response is irresponsible, vague and the same every time. They always tell me that i have sent the rrn, which actually doesn’t mean anything if the bank tells me that they haven’t got the money.

                                      Hi this is swaroop and we ordered food today thru zomato for 696rs that is 3half chicken biriyani and 1kurma and 15 rumali roti where as we received only 2biriyani and just kurma hence we tried to chat with cc it was not at all helpful and asking us to send us email for the missing issue and not trying to resolve the issue on immediate action, where they seems to behave careless on the issue

                                        I have ordered a cake with order number [protected] on 26.08.2019. The cake was damaged by your zomato wallet because of which he asked me to cancel the order and order again. I did the same.
                                        I reached for support to get my refund. The support assistance told me that he has refunded me the amount and the same will be get credited in my account but i have not got any refund till now.
                                        This is a serious concern for me and i want you guys to refund it as soon as possible. If not to the original payment method then will share my paytm wallet details with you.
