Zomoto delivery boy ate my food. Not a single phone received from delivery boy before cancelling my order. When i called delivery boy to collect food, he said he cancelled order and gave food to his friend. I had made online payment for food, but food was not delivered by delivery boy. Address was very clear and previously many delivery boys have delivered in the address. Delivery boy intentionally didn't deliver

    I ordered pizza from dominos today 11aug. On zomato app.
    Payment was done by me in advance.
    Pizza order was supposed to reach me within 30mins.
    But it didn't and there was no update from zomato. The app asked me to call dominos which again went to dominos cc.
    From there also i got no update.

    Again, i approached zomato customer care, where after chatting with them i asked them to lodge a complain but the person on the other side told me, oh as if you are valuable, do whatever you want to do.

    So after constantly calling dominos and chatting with zomato cc, i got order 1.15hrs later.

    Why must customer go through this mental torture. And why are not valuable to a company like, zomato whose business mostly rely on direct people interaction??

      I order chicken kebab roll on zomato from nazeer foods (C-9, behind shipra hotel sector-18 noida), and a zomato person request me to take 5 rating and then he took my mobile phone and rated 5 star from himself, and then he went but when i cover up my food i found my roll was totally musty, full of fungus, and i call the same delivery boy he told that he could not help me and asked me to call zomato or nazeer. I already make a complain on zomato as well as nazeer but still not got any response. Such a pathetic food delivery, i waste my money as i order on zomato, i want my money back...[protected] paytm no.

        I ordered from zomato from big yellow door, satyaniketan, new delhi.
        As you can see, i ordered @ 12.49 pm and cancelled the order @12.51 pm because i forgot to add items in my order. Their automated chat support doesn't leave much of an option for us to say, so i contacted the restaurant about the same. They told me to cancel the order as i'd get a full refund from zomato and i can order once again with the new items and promocode applied. So, even though their automatic chat asked me if i was sure to cancel it, i replied yes to it considering the food had not been prepared as the restaurant told me.
        But surprisingly, zomato charged me full amount for cancellation. So, i didnt even got my food delivered and also got 254 bucks cut out of my account.
        Is this a trick zomato uses to earn money?
        Is this their customer service?
        I'm highly disappointed in zomato. I'm a regular customer of zomato gold, but not anymore.
        Here's an attachment of the proof that i ordered and cancelled within 2 minutes, and also confirmed from the restaurant if the food had been delivered.
        I want a full refund for a service i didn't even get and food that wasn't even prepared.
        Also, not recommending it to any of my friends and not even thinking to order food again. They guys should have better policies for the users. The automated chat system doesn't leave much in the hands of the consumers. I also confirmed it from the restaurant because i didn't want food to be wasted and no extra burden on them.. But looks like they guys get to decide from far away if the food had been prepared.

          This order was placed by me on the date given. The first problem was food was delivered 1 hour later to me it and the order was incomplete. Was like that it has been cooked a day before. Complain so many time in zomato chat but no satisfactory reply was given by your team.
          So you please check it and provide refund or credit as soon as possible

            By mistake placed order, immediately tried to cancel order via chat option as no other options available, placed at 12.09 then waited for 3 mins for chat to response but no reply post 3 mins, immediately called restaurant as they accepted the order. Restaurant guys confirmed that they haven’t started preparing the order hence i requested them to cancel from their end. They did the same, while i was in call, no rpy from chat support till 12.15

            Then restaurant call customer care then they cancelled but nothing is prepared. You can check with restaurant

            Now due to app fault of no option of cancellation & no response im chat, food not started preparing then why you guys charging me cancellation charge

            It’s totally zomato fault. Chat person connected later after cancellation was not ready to help, why are these person assigned if they can’t even help.
            It’s not about money but i am not going to use zomato going forward

            Greate strategy to loot money from customer with no option of cancellation.
            Kindly refund my amount.

            I ordered chicken 65 from Royal biryani palace through the zomato. Food quality is worst👎. I called to Royal biryani palace they simply said it is good and they said if you have any problem give complaint. So I have a right to give complaint on zomato because of quality less of food they are delivered.

            I have placed order at zomato app at moti Mahal sapphire mall and money was deducted from my account and I m tried calling at zomato customer care no but no one is responding.so plz I am requesting that plz refund my money in my account..
            I ordered 2 chicken biryani from andhra ruchulu restaurant and I received only one biryani and I contacted customer care and those people are helpless and even they didn't gave my money also. Simply they are playing with customers.
            And even they are unable to give my money back. Please help me.

              On 26th july i ordered food via zomato, afterwards the delivery guy canceled my order, so i called him up to check what's wrong, he said the restaurant couldn't prepare my complete order so he canceled my order and when i conveyed the same to zomato support system they fined me the amount which i already had paid for the food via debit card. They said they were not able to contact me that's why they canceled but when i called the delivery guy he said the restaurant couldn't prepare my food that's why he canceled it. They said later that my refund is complete which was a lie.. #[protected] is the order number.

                I placed an order on zomato and below are the details.

                Order date: 6th aug 2019

                I suspect that the order delivered to me was consumed already and they delivered only less quantity and the seal was opened when it was delivered to me.

                Just before the delivery i got a call from zomato customer care stating that the seal was opened and food was spilled over. They confirmed me that they would provide a full refund for the same.

                But till now neither they have not refunded the amount nor they apologized for this irresponsible act of spoiling/consuming the food and delivering it with seal open to end customers.

                This act of a zomato delivery person was eating the food before it was delivered to customer went viral social media and despite that still they are continuing the same which is evident in my case.

                Pl take necessary action so that this doesnt happen again.

                  My first order and the experience with the zomato is so bad as the item which I have ordered is stale, as its was cooked in Night and delivered to me in early morning 4 A.M. I have asked the customer support team to pick the item and replace the same item but the support team denied it and started testing my patience in early morning with the copy paste sentences which make me so irritate and frustrate at that time and then I have sent an email to the support team and you people will not below that I got the response after 3 days which is very pathetic.

                  According to me people should not order any item from the zomota, instead we can order it in Swiggy.

                  People who ever see my complaint in the forum, please look at the customer service of the Zomato and also stop buying the food form the Zomato.

                    I ordered food yesterday and paid through bank for 410/- but i did bot get food nor refund i need the money back if money is taken it should be delivered or the funds need to be returned i need my money to be returned as early as possible there is no communication from zomato regarding the non delivery all others send messages about refund and failure.                       This complaint is regarding the infinity dining experience provided through zomato at capri gastrobar. The food provided to us was so stale that all our stomachs got bloated. It felt like they added something to make you feel full faster coz evrryone felt weird after eating for half hour. In 45 minutes we stopped ordering and returned every dish we ordered. Today morning we all good stomach upset because of that food
                      Yesterday night itself we raised the concern with the management and they seemed least bothered. They are like this is a service provided by zomato and hence they can't do anything.
                      I tried reaching out to zomato but they were not able to do anything

                        I have ordered food from buhari. It didn't reach me and status said food was delivered. I couldn't reach delivery boy via phone. Went to zomato support team and they weren't able to reach delivery boy. They promised refund will happen in 5 to 7 working days. 2weeks past and no refund initiated. Contacted support team many times and i get same response that they have escalated to manager. I am disappointed with the false commitments given by support team.

                          I am unable to enjoy zomato account services because it's being said by zomato that i have multiple accounts from single number.
                          I haven't misused zomato not for once. If others have used it, zomato should have not allowed to do the same.
                          If somebody is using my number to have multiple accounts it's zomato duty to ensure my private details are not being misused by others as its being ensured at the time of filling details of account privacy care shall be taken care of by zomato.
                          Despite my many mails instead of resolving my problem zomato is sending me same copied message that account can't be manually unblocked.
                          Moreover my gold membership fees is being wasted also company is not compensating for my loss instead communicating me this message that my fees is non refundable.
                          As a consumer it's my right to have my services for the amount paid. And if your company is alleging me that i have multiple accounts then kindly provide us audit trails of suspicious behaviour done by me due to which my account got computerised blocked.
                          Or else it's clear zomato is collecting membership fees from multiple consumers all over india and blocking accounts for no reason for financial profits of the company.

                            Respected sir/ma'am,
                            I would like to bring into notice that zomato which is highly a reputated brand is being misused. Urban masala is a restaurant in kolkata, lake town which has a rating of 4.9/5 but when i went to have lunch there it was highly disappointed. After that i got to know all the reviews are paid reviews. This actually questions zomato and it's unethical.
                            We send money on a restaurant after seeing the ratings but nowadays it is all unethically increased then how can we trust you brand.
                            Please have a look on this matter and increase the ratings of worthy restaurant's. So that people can trust zomato.

                              I ordered from zomato at 9:58 pm on 09.08.2019 having order number [protected]. After half an hour, i enquired about the order status on zomato chat as the status was showing that the order is on the way. Then i am being told that there is no delivery boy to deliver the order.

                              I asked them if there is no delivery boy then y did you accept the order and when you accepted then you should have immediately contacted me saying that it cant be fulfilled for so and so reasons. But no one cared to call/contact and when i asked i am being told that delivery boy is not there. I am here waiting, hungry, tired and helpless for almost 45 mins for my order to arrive..

                              This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional on zomato's part. And after asking again and again the guy on chat support is telling that no delivery boy.. No delivery boy.. Then you wasting my time and not cancelling order immediately...

                              You guys wasted my time.. If you had informed earlier i would have ordered from somewhere else or whatever.. No.. You like to keep people hungry.. You suck...

                              I am blacklisting zomato forever and i will never ever recommend someone to order from you...

                              And yes one last thing, in such a case, you giving 100 credits dosent help... Have some courtsey and be proactive to tell people if the order has gone wrong right away...

                                I ordered 3 days back from zomato and i was given wrong item since the item i ordered was unavailable. I requested to cancel the order but that wasn't done and delivery person forced me to accept it (Considering that this wasn't the first time i was given wrong item i had contacted delivery person in advance and told him to check the items and he still did not call me when he knew that the item i ordered was unavailable). I contacted zomato chat and they did not accept my complaint or basically they are not accepting any complaints from me. I contacted [protected]@zomato which assured would get back to me within 48 hrs but it's already been 72 hrs.

                                  I am writing to inform you that yesterday night at 11.15pm i placed a order on Zomato. Zomato received my order and showing that my food is being prepared and will be deliver soon. After 45min i asked help line team regarding my delivery details they said we are cancelling the order as no delivery boy is there to deliver the food. They cancelled my order and initiate to refund.

                                  My concern is when i tried to place my oder at 11.15am or after placing my order they should informed me with in 10-15min that we're unable to proces the order for such and such reason, then i could have manage food from somewhere else but unfortunately they did the same at 12.10am and i was helpless to do anything at that time, i went to sleep without eating anything. I was starving but wasn't able to help myself as at that time no shop was open. If they had informed me earlier i could have manage it from local shop. But

                                  I want a compensation for the same. I am a regular user of ZOMATO and everyday i order from zomato as i stay alone.

                                  Please help me. I am attaching the screenshot of the conversation of last night.

                                    The order i placed was accepted by the restaurants and then i receive a call from the delivery guy that you'll have to order anything else as the restaurant is out of stock and then i rejected so he asked me to order again and when i ordered again there is all mayo which i mentioned that i am allergic to and when i talked to executive over the chat he/she was being rude, and then went afk.

                                      Today, one boy in vadodara gujarat city, came to deliver a pizza at veda apartment, chhani area, vadodara to ms preeti.

                                      The boy was stopped at the security gate and was asked to park the vehicle outside and to walk the same the society and deliver it to door step.

                                      The boy abused the guard and also denied and self - cancelled the order and went back. The delivery boy name was mayur.

                                        I have ordered a food by mistake but when i tried to cancelled my order a person name asruddin told me that he will not refund my amount which was rs 241. Inspite of this he behaved very rudely i m very disappoint from his behaviour. As i wanted to order my food from somewhere else but by mistake it has been ordered from anupam restaurant & cafe shop no 3-4, 183/1 link road, sector 28 faridabad. As soon as the order was made i cancelled but they said that refund will not come and they forcefully made the order...
