Hello, today I have ordered 2 sets of parotta, 1 mutton briyani, 1 mutton masala and I paid it through COD. But I got it only 1 set of parotta, 1 mutton briyani and 1 mutton masala. So 1 set of parotta was missed in that. After opening the parcel I got shocked. I dunno whose fault and who should be responsible for this either the restaurant or the delivery person. I need to book complaint on this to rectify it and no further problem should attain to anyone who were using Zomato. And I am frightened to use Zomato app anymore for food ordering. Hereafter I will not recommend to order food through Zomato to my friends too. My order id for your reference was [protected]
Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Its regarding ticket number 1184473 which i raised with zomato. But no response from last 3 days.
Due to some app problem they cancelled my order. I immediately asked in chat to replace same order which they told they cant do. They have also not refunded my money. Are they looting customer.

    I had placed an order on zomato, order id: [protected]i and canceled the order immediately. Within a few minutes, they took my entire money rs.474/- not even refunding the amount to the customer, i chatted with customer service. They said we will escalate to a higher level and they did not even respond. Because of this, i am tensed
    I got anxiety and i couldn't able to control my frustration and with depression.

    This is my hardened money how can you guys just take easily. I can go to top extend to get that money.

    I am gonna sue this. I need justice.

    I've ordered food from zomato and paid the bill Google pay, amount has deducted and received by zomato but the order is not processed because it shows payment incomplete.

      Hi Team,

      I have ordered desserts worth 385 rs and by mistakenly cancelled the order with in 2 mins.

      After that I came to know from zomato chat team that I will not get refund as it was cancelled post order accepted.

      Please note that I have ordered desserts which is already prepared and it will not b wasted. I have sent mail to [protected]@zomato.com and haven't get response up to now.

      May I know when can I expect the refund ? If not I would like to order the same items with money which already deducted.

      Please provide customer care numbers to call.

      Payment was done by Google Pay.It got cinfirmed and was paid to zomati.But zomato showed it not complete. I again ordered n this time everything was ok. I WANT MY 981 BACK WHICH WAS DEDUCTED N PAID FOR 1ST ORDER.I can givr attatchments/transaction id. Zomato has no contact which works.

      Today we are ordered food in zomoto app and money through online and mentioned the correct address but zomoto delivery boy said wrong address and they only cancelled the order and we are not received food and amount refund
      I order one cake of 885 RS on app it is showing it will deliver but when executive reach there he is complaining we can't deliver there it's to far.if there is no delivery how zomato take the orders.
      Your company's delivery merchant said that he won't deliver my order and I have to cancel it. But instead he also cancelled through which I was not asked about what charges I will have to pay and hence your chat team said I have agreed that I will pay the entire money for the order. What does this mean?

        On 20th august, i placed an order from pudding and pie for rs.181. The delivery guy who reached had no change and took my rs.500 note and never returned. It has been a week and i have spoken to chat support on zomato day after day after day with them promising me 319 credits and that they will fire that delivery guy. I have received no proof of action against that man and have received only 181 credits. Everytime i open a chat, a new executive asks me why i am asking for 319 credits instead of 181. It has been a week and zomato is incapable of issuing something so basic and after that the chat support signs off telling me to have a great day ahead and stay blessed. Not only have i been cheated of my money and the delivery guy gone scot-free, zomato has done nothing to fix it and are completely incompetent.

          I placed an order today from no [protected] on zomato app
          I cancelled within seconds
          It did not give me any option to say yes or no
          I immediately got message of cancellation.
          My money is deducted. When asked they messaged that money could not be refunded as food started getting prepared.
          This is not my fault zomato app is not proper
          Anyways i ordered sweets which cannot be prepared its not pizza or other food. Total fraud app
          I regularly order but i would not in future. I just want my money back for an order i did not receive

          I was trying to explain the person of the issue I was facing, I was talking to him nicely, his name is Varun Sharma, he talked to me rudely and said I am fake.
          Actually i orderd food from mahadev kaa dhaba on zomato as soon i completed my order from my phone pay account it showed payment successful but when I looked in zomato app it showed payment unsuccessful I also have screen shot of this. I want my money back.
          I ordered from zomato and the order was cancelled where i already paid again the same thing happened with the other order and when i raised the issue the customer services were non responsive and negligent.
          They were just getting rid of my complaint by giving me some credits and ending the conversation

            I ordered food using my rupay card on dat.13/9/2019 due to unavailability of some item my order rejected by hotel.. Again i ordered food with another item then also my orders rejected by hotel by reason is restuarant closed for delivery. Theny i talked many time with customers support of zomato they keep telling me wait till today tomorrow but after waiting 15 days long still not received my refund amount total: 315 rs. I also inquired to my bank for refund with zomato rrn number but bank clerk said me that we dont received refund with this rrn numbers.

              I had received a call from zomato gold department to renew my membership along with infinity dining service. I git the service renewed on 5th of august but as of now there are no infinity dining service being provided by zomato. I requested to return my money or pause my membership ir atleast extend my membership. But they r not at all helpful and resolution is being provided. Can i expect any help from here?

                I am writing this today august 26th
                Yesterday i ordered 2 cotton candy and 1 vanilla choco chips scoop on zomato mobile app
                Order # [protected] at 2:14 pm sunday 25thaugust
                The status showed "food is being prepared" for many hours
                The order was not delivered but in zomato app today it said "order is delivered" on today 26th august
                We were trying to chat multiple times but no proper response was given by zomato chat and also it does not have relevant options at all to properly communicate the issue to zomato
                So we tried reaching the restaurant and they said no zomato person came to pickup the delivery
                Zomato app still shows status "food is being prepared"
                When we called the zomato delivery person he says he has delivered it to another customer
                We called restaurant again they still keep saying no delivery person came for pickup and food was already ready within 15 mins o[censored]s placing the order in zomato app
                We called delivery person again
                The zomato delivery person says why are u calling so lately he should have been informed at that time even though we called him once earlier
                And he also stated that u can file a case against zomato but he has done nothing wrong
                Left with no other options
                Finally i sent an email to to: [protected]@zomato.com today (26thaugust2019) stating all these mentioned text here
                So tell me what have we done wrong?
                Placing order on zomato is our big mistake?
                I want strict action to be taken on delivery person and an apology from ur general manager on phone call and also refund amount immediately a proper email stating proper reason for this shocking negligent chat process followed and overall service provided

                  I have placed an order through zomato. Because of some reasons i had to cancel the order just after 1 min of order. Before cancelling they didn't indicate that i will be charged penalty. To my surprise a reecived a message after 2 seconds of cancellation that whole order amount will be charged. I also requested executive to deliver the same order now if whole amount will be charged but they rejected the same. Why zomato can't revert the cancellation just after 2 mins and deliver the order if customer wants. Also charging full amount just after 2 mins of order is insane.

                    Within a minute i accidentally cancelled the order to which i got a reply from your team that "as you had cancelled your delivery, neither we can received the money be refunded".
                    I posted a complaint with zomato regarding this but no action has been taken till now. This is very unprofessional from zomato. Hope this will be resolved asap...

                      I received burnt food, and i contacted support on 23rd august 2019 3.47 pm, they assured the refund and told it will be credited in 48.. But now on 25th aug 2019 even 48 hours completed they are simply saying credits were not initialized earlier we initiated now and wait more 48 hours..

                      Is this the correct way???
                      And they disconnecting the chat their self only
                      Not listening my words.

                        I had ordered couple of biryani from mezban restaurant, kolkata, the order was cancelled as it took too long and my guests had left, in my account it is yet showing rs. 700/- odd amount as dues, if i hv not consumed why pay??, now i don't order cause of this, though it was my favorite food app. Kindly omit the same for me to continue with order.

                          Sir i ordered chicken from zomato and made payment through upi but realised it was janmasthami so i cancelled the order but the executive told me that i would be charged cancellation charges equal to order amount which i can't understand because i cancelled the order after 5 minutes the food wouldn't have beeen prepared by then and the executive is giving me the reason that zomato foesn't believe in food wastage you tell me how did the food get wasted if i didn't receive the order infact the order wasn't even prepared. Please look into the matter

                            All this happened unilaterally. Zomato call from mr pravesh patra was rude and nonchalantly stated as if zomato is doing a favour all along. Thank you and your money shall be refunded... That is final.

                              I had placed an order of amount rs413 onzomato app. (Order id - [protected]) ph no - [protected], date - august 20, 2019 at 8:55pm
                              Within seconds i accidentally cancelled the order to which i got a reply from your team that "as you had cancelled your delivery, neither we can reorder nor will the money be refunded".
                              I posted a complaint with zomato regarding this but no action has been taken till now. This is very unprofessional from zomato. Hope this will be resolved asap.

                                156 rupees deducted from my account on 24aug’19 for the food i ordered without confirming the order, incomplete order was written on that page.. And there was no proper information provided about what if payment failed. I tried chating to them but the system was too noob i failed too connect. I haven’t recieved the money yet

                                  I have ordered in Zomato on August 22nd 2019 in Vijayawada. The delivery executive said that he will not be able to delivery the food as his bike got punctured. Till 1 at midnight it is not delivered but by morning the status is delivered. I haven't received the food. Marked mail to Zomato haven't received any update till now and amount got deducted from my account and no refund done.

                                    I ordered from zomato online (Order no.[protected]) i applied promo code (Zoamto) and i was shown an amount of rs.87.56 on my order and i decided to order as i checked and went for online payment the promo code got cancelled or something and i was charged a more amount of rs. 134! I tried cancelling the order and processing refund and again order it from the same place but support said cannot be cancelled. I elaborated on the promo code issue they ended up saying apply on next order. The code was showing invalid for few seconds but again was applied successfully. I want my promo code amount back it went invalid while checking and i was charged more by your system fault! Please co-operate

                                    action was taken! but the refund was initiated via UPI but due to technical issues the process was abondaned. the service guy told me it will refunded directly into your bank account within 72 hours. waiting for it!

                                      Hi,

                                      I was having issue with my zomato order no. [protected].

                                      When i raised this issue to zomato support, i have received really bad replies from zomato support person.
                                      He/she did not even bothered to understand the situation and was making sarcastic comments on my situation.
                                      This behaviour is strongly not acceptable from support person with customers.

                                      Kindly look into this issue.

                                        I ordered food through zomato app from dildar, madhapur hyderabad. The food delivered was filled with worms in the rice. Inspite of registering a complaint with zomato support, i was not even refunded my full amount. The restaurant was rated 4.2 and had marked as good quality hygiene. This is highly unacceptable. This is feeding dangerous food through reliable brands like you. This is a real shame, as being big brand like you, you don’t even take proper action against this kind of incidend. This need immediate escalation and the restaurnt being de listed from your app.
