Zomato – i don’t care who is delivering my food or who has cooked it…but am distraught when i don’t get the food that i ordered….
If food is your religion, don’t molest your service levels…
My questions are…
• how can zomato / swiggy be held responsible for service levels.
• they cancel the order with a response that money will be refunded, what about the hungry customers who have been waiting for food. They think that the issue has been resolved once refund done.
• they claim no responsibility for wrong orders.
• the delivery boys don’t know what they are delivering.
• what if non veg gets delivered to a vegetarian house? It almost happened last night…
I had ordered food at zomato, what i received was something else and the delivery boy did not have a clue on what it was.
Tried contacting zomaro to be assaulted by predefined texts and spent considerable time till i could send a message asking them to call me.
Received a call later, the call centre agent casually asking me to cancel the order and reorder. He was repeating the same response even after me saying that my kid is sitting hungry. Asked him to put me on to some senior or supervisor. He put me on hold for some time, came back with the claim that no seniors were available and i would have to cut the call, which i refused. Since i did not disconnect, the call was still on. I was getting pretty agitated by now as i was feeling guilty of letting down my hungry kid, it was well past her bed time and she had not eaten.
After a long time i receive a call from zomato enquiring on the issue. She again was least bothered (There was no sincerity in the voice), she said that she will put the restaurant on line and clear the matter.
When asked about the chain of events, she said that order was placed at 09:03 pm and the delivery boy was at my door at 09:16 pm and that the time during the call was 09:55 pm. When asked why took so much time to even call back, she got agitated and started asking me what i wanted to do now and then cut the call.
Finally to top it all, i get a message saying that the restaurant is not responding…
My concerns are
Are the delivery boys not even trained on checking if they are collecting the right food? The person who came had no clue on even the quantum of order, he was carrying a small box of 6 momos vs 20 ordered. The momos looked dark brown inside, shudder to think if by chance i had touched non veg food.
People just don’t have any human values, they are just trained to repeat pre framed statements. There is no feeling o[censored]rgency or remose.
Can we have the authorities taking some action on these cheats…
