Zomato delivers the food through its online app. They are charging rs25 per burger as packaging charges in case of orders from subway restaurant.
So if i order 3 burgers packaging charges would be rs.75. And packaging includes only a wrapping paper around the burger (Which may not even cost re1). Subway actually doesn't charge anything against packaging charges because wrapping is included in the burger cost. I realized that i have been overcharged multiple times by zomato i. E on all my orders from subway.

    I had placed an order, but zomato couldn't deliver that order in 3-4hrs after all when i said that i have not recieved my order they refunded the money but they locked my account where they failed to deliver my food 3hrs also above that their customer care didn't even respond to me properly also, when i asked for another order they said they can't help it because restaurants are closed i told them if guys were not able to deliver order only, then why guys are still taking orders and giving me fake promises that my order will be delivered soon, which actually never got delivered, previously also similar incident has happened where even restaurants has accepted that they had sent wrong order to me, that too in rotten conditions, so i did rated them as per their food standards, but you people block the account of customers who gives you actual feedback to save other customer's money, but this is a big loss for you guys because our rating matters alot to you guys, but when you seen that your service standards are falling down & your restaurants get bad rating as per their bad food, you block those customers so that truth should never come out and you people keep sucking money from customers

    I'm live in Ludhiana I went for joining in zomato as delivery boy but zomato employee talk very rude misbehave and said get out pls solve the problem in zomato office Ludhiana, brs nagar. Employee are zomato office very bad behavior he has no manner to talk another one pls take action.

      Yesterday we ordered food from pizza hut 2x spanish tomato pasta. Really disappointed with the order. It was half eaten and the boxes crumbled. After a journey we were hungry so ordered thru zomato. Very sad with the service. Allow the staff to have such food once in a while or give them good training before selecting the person. Bad service. Disappointed with zomato.

        Hi sir. I am highly disappointed, i am a regular customer of Zomato. last week i ordered from one restaurent(Madras spice) and cancelled due to some issue. Its been only 2mins between orderd and cancelled. They charging Rs.80(order amount) for cancellation. How it would be justified?? customer care also not supporting and not able to call customer care.

          Description:- i had ordered the pizza from dominos at 08:38 pm on 5th august 2019. At 09:09 pm i got the message from dominos that my order has been cancelled from their side as they were not able to deliver due to heavy rains in pune. I called dominos and asked them for the refund they told me that they have cancelled my order and for refund i should contact zomato as my payment was initiated from zomato app.

          I messaged zomato team and they told that i should contact dominos and told zomato does not have access to initiate the refund. After few hours i saw the status in the zomato app showing that the order was delivered.

          I don't understand, one the first hand the order was cancelled by the dominos, how come it can get delivered to customer??
          I request zomato to mark the status of the order id [protected] as cancelled and initate my refund of 265 inr.

          Also i urge to provide me with zomato credits for such inconvinience caused to me.

            2. I placed an order at night. After waiting for an hour, I got a call from delivery boy. He said he can't come inside. But will deliver at the gate. I said I can't come to gate. He will have to come inside.
            3. After about 10 mins I got call from your customer support and they said that they are cancelling the order since the bridge is flooded and he won't be able to come.
            4. To make it clear, if he can come to gate. He knew bridge was ok. It was just an excuse and your customer support bought it.
            5. You will refund me but what about the one hour I had to wait. And I had to sleep hungry since it was too late to order from somewhere else.
            7. On top of that, your customer support didn't want to hear me as if his priority was valet driver and not the customer.

            8. I put a mail, put mail on Twitter also. But no response.

              It's thrice when i faced same problem with zomato order. They always provide bad quality of food.. And customer ask for refund they asked to wait for 48 hours nd after 48 hours they again asked for the same. I want my full money back as i send images of the food to zomato. Zomato agree to repay but i not refunded yet and always asked to wait wait and wait.

                This is for the 7th time i have come across the same issue with zomato. I get call from the valet and he comes up with the issue saying he can not deliver the order either he meets with an accident or his bike breaks down.

                Today i ordered from kfc near pvr anupam, and the valet picks up the order and then i get a call from the valet and he starts with his story that his cycle tyre got punctured, when i asked him about his location he started stammering as he was not prepared with his story properly. I checked my app he was near the store itself. I kept checking the location and i found he was travelling to opposite direction, and after sometime he even marked the foods to be delivered. I chatted with zomato chat and i was assigned with an agent, medha. She tried to reach him but was unanswered.

                  i also called resturant and customer care not to process more than one order which is placed in my name. only process one order. if food is prepared why i was not informed and not tryied delivery of my two oredered.

                  Sir. Your zomato is all good but their is one single mistake in your zomato system. The complaint is once your zomato delievery boy delievers the order. He himself written delievered in the app. But my suggestion is a single otp send by customer to delievery boy once the order is delievered. Otherwise it not shown delievered.

                      It was very sad but i have been using zomato for a long time amd the white sauce pasta that i ordered was seperated the white sauce squirted outside and the pasta inside the container very sad condition net wastage of 410 rs
                      This is the second time such a thing has happened, earlier a few months back, there was a delay of about 1 hour when i ordered the food very poor service quality
                      When u preach others that food has no religion, atleast take care of honouring that religion and not commiting sacrilege by causing spillage or such delays, highly disappointed and please instead of sermonising take care to ensure proper delivery

                        This is about order id [protected]. Zomato are scamming customers, i ordered food from kfc and was getting update about the valet getting my order. When it was about 4 minutes to the delivery time i came outside my house to wait for the valet to arrive. I kept waiting till the time reach and was wondering where the valet have been when i received notification that he will soon arrive. I kept observing and only see the valet motorcycle moving up and down. 5 minutes later i saw that the order have been canceled. I immediately chat up with an agent telling him that i am still outside waiting for the valet to deliver my food. He told me that he cannot order for me again that i have to order again. That i should write an email to [protected]@zomato.com for a refund. I was explaining to him that i don't want a refund but my food. So they cannot tell the valet to return and reach the destination.
                        The email i sent was replied that i was not reachable both by the valet and the customer care agent. I wonder when zomato became a phone service instead of food delivery service. The valet have to reach the delivery destination first and then call the customer, you cannot be somewhere else and say you cannot reach a customer in an address that have received hundreds of orders. And all the emails written fell on deaf ears as they only respond with if you are not reachable then the order will be canceled. I am very positive that if it was okay on delivery he must deliver it.

                          I placed an order with an order id: [protected] on the 28th of july, 2019; however, hotel santosh, kalyan, maharashtra after half an hour from then rejected the order stating that your address is not within our delivery boundaries. When i placed the order, i ensured to manually type the entire address in their app in the delivery adddress field. Inspite of that, zomato i do not know from where just added manisha nagar to my address; however, despite the fact it got added to the address, is it not their responsibility to read the entire address with the post code? It is completely their fault. Not only have they got a flaw in their app, but also the employees working for them are incompetent. They at the first place should not have accepted the order for which i waited for more than half an hour and was unable to even munch on to the food that i ordered. I was left starving. The customer service executive also took the delivery boy on conference call about a quadruple times and inspite of the delivery boy reaching my home location successfully refused to deliver the order. They say that you mentioning the incorrect address lead to food wastage and we shall deduct almost the entire amount. I mean for what would they deduct the entire amount? For their fault, if they are looting the customers in this manner, then a day will soon arrive when they will create a monopoly in looting people in the food business. I say this with conviction, as when i was about to register a complaint against zomato with you, i saw several other more or less similar complaints against them. They have now got accustomed to deceiving customers and will continue doing so, if you as an authority do not impede them from doing so. Hence, please help me in this case and not only i demand a refund of the entire amount that i spent that evening of ₹229, but also a compensation from zomato to me to have kept me waiting for so long and rejecting the order.

                          Zomato also has shared my number and complaint details with some fraudsters and they kept calling me up from the following number: Fraudster,[protected], Bihar. Once when I picked the call up, they said you filed a complaint against Zomato and I am an executive from Zomato itself and requested me to help him with my bank details to which I said, you would have it with you, then why have you asked it from me now? To which he disconnected the call abruptly. Zomato is the most ridiculous entity I have ever come across. Just because I filed a complaint with you, they are now providing my number and details to the fraudsters.

                          28th of July, 2019 is when I placed an order with Zomato, which never was delivered and the money was still deducted from the account, considering that, its the 13th day today. I do not know what is Zomato doing? They are just prolonging things, thinking the customer would mellow down. But, they fail to understand that they are only aggravating it here, as I see no reason to hold the case for so long when they are at fault.

                            This is regarding about zomato service in hyderabad location. Recently i have ordered food on july 28th 2019 and this is my order id :[protected]. The problem which i have faced i waited for food one hour still they don't delivered my food on time and i called to delivery boy he said i am coming into your place within 5 min and i waited half an hour still not coming after that i cancelled my order but that refund amount hasn't back and they have charged amount to us.
                            I tried to tell my problem to customer service even they don't take action and said that as per new polices we can't process refund.
                            Please take an action on them they are doing not correct way.

                              I have placed an through zomato and the very next second i have cancelled the same order the reason behind this was i have applied the promo code but it was not reflected in the order so i have cancelled the same order as soon as possible i have called the restaurant guy to stop making the order to avoid wastage and i had ordered the same order again by applying the promo code the order id[protected] after having a chat via zomato chat the zomato person is just on telling me the same thing it will revert in your account in 24 to 48 hours but, it has passed 7 days but i havent received my debited amount

                                I ordered food by partially paying using zomato credits and paytm. The order was not accepted by the restaurant. The customer support told me it's a technical glitch and they are sorry for it. I received the zomato credits back but not the paytm money! Now, when i try to complain about it, i get "we have reviewed your account and regret to inform you that it reflects high amount of credit activity based on your disputed orders in the past. Hence, we will not be able to make any adjustments in this case. It's not my fault zomato partner restaurant's frequently send wrong orders and spilled food. And if your restaurant didn't accept my order, i'm atleast entitled to get my money back!

                                  My order was not accepted but money was deducted from my account.
                                  So i used the delivery support cause there is no such customer service for zomato
                                  The first assistant said it will be refunded in 24-48 hours.
                                  The second assistant said it will be refunded in 5-7 days according to rbi guidelines.
                                  The third assistant said the refund is initiated from our side but there is a technical error.

                                    I ordered food from zomato but rider went to wrong address and refused to come to the right place so we cancelled the order. Then a person called by saying that he is from zomato and wants to refund our money so he shared a doc. To fill all the bank details and all. We did it. And he stole 2k from my account. Then blocked my number. His number [protected]. I tried calling zomato customer service 100 times but no answer.

                                      Hope u all the doing well. I want to request that i was just 7 minutes late and within this time the order was cancelled by the rider. I have all the call details and its time. When i reached home i met the rider in person he said he had already cancelled the order and the food will not be delivered to you and shall be returned to the restaurent as it is. I request you to please refund the amount. I admit that i was not able to take the calls as i was driving scooty but within 7 min he cancelled the order. I met him in person but he was not at all supportive. Atleast please refund the ordered amount considering i am your old customer and this happened for the first time.                                         Sir i terminate by my area zomato office they say u are terminate by chandigrh office bt i cant receive any terminated letter or massage why sir... My fault is just i am placing a order by zomato app and eat.. Sir my area branch directly terminate plz sir plz rejoin me i promise after rejoin i am not placing any order... Sir i dont have dad i am a one man from my home to do job sir they directly terminate me...
