It was very sad but i have been using zomato for a long time amd the white sauce pasta that i ordered was seperated the white sauce squirted outside and the pasta inside the container very sad condition net wastage of 410 rs
This is the second time such a thing has happened, earlier a few months back, there was a delay of about 1 hour when i ordered the food very poor service quality
When u preach others that food has no religion, atleast take care of honouring that religion and not commiting sacrilege by causing spillage or such delays, highly disappointed and please instead of sermonising take care to ensure proper delivery

    This is about order id [protected]. Zomato are scamming customers, i ordered food from kfc and was getting update about the valet getting my order. When it was about 4 minutes to the delivery time i came outside my house to wait for the valet to arrive. I kept waiting till the time reach and was wondering where the valet have been when i received notification that he will soon arrive. I kept observing and only see the valet motorcycle moving up and down. 5 minutes later i saw that the order have been canceled. I immediately chat up with an agent telling him that i am still outside waiting for the valet to deliver my food. He told me that he cannot order for me again that i have to order again. That i should write an email to [protected]@zomato.com for a refund. I was explaining to him that i don't want a refund but my food. So they cannot tell the valet to return and reach the destination.
    The email i sent was replied that i was not reachable both by the valet and the customer care agent. I wonder when zomato became a phone service instead of food delivery service. The valet have to reach the delivery destination first and then call the customer, you cannot be somewhere else and say you cannot reach a customer in an address that have received hundreds of orders. And all the emails written fell on deaf ears as they only respond with if you are not reachable then the order will be canceled. I am very positive that if it was okay on delivery he must deliver it.

      Hi

      I placed an order with an order id: [protected] on the 28th of july, 2019; however, hotel santosh, kalyan, maharashtra after half an hour from then rejected the order stating that your address is not within our delivery boundaries. When i placed the order, i ensured to manually type the entire address in their app in the delivery adddress field. Inspite of that, zomato i do not know from where just added manisha nagar to my address; however, despite the fact it got added to the address, is it not their responsibility to read the entire address with the post code? It is completely their fault. Not only have they got a flaw in their app, but also the employees working for them are incompetent. They at the first place should not have accepted the order for which i waited for more than half an hour and was unable to even munch on to the food that i ordered. I was left starving. The customer service executive also took the delivery boy on conference call about a quadruple times and inspite of the delivery boy reaching my home location successfully refused to deliver the order. They say that you mentioning the incorrect address lead to food wastage and we shall deduct almost the entire amount. I mean for what would they deduct the entire amount? For their fault, if they are looting the customers in this manner, then a day will soon arrive when they will create a monopoly in looting people in the food business. I say this with conviction, as when i was about to register a complaint against zomato with you, i saw several other more or less similar complaints against them. They have now got accustomed to deceiving customers and will continue doing so, if you as an authority do not impede them from doing so. Hence, please help me in this case and not only i demand a refund of the entire amount that i spent that evening of ₹229, but also a compensation from zomato to me to have kept me waiting for so long and rejecting the order.

      I have enclosed the screenshots of it for you to get unambiguty on it.

      Zomato also has shared my number and complaint details with some fraudsters and they kept calling me up from the following number: Fraudster,[protected], Bihar. Once when I picked the call up, they said you filed a complaint against Zomato and I am an executive from Zomato itself and requested me to help him with my bank details to which I said, you would have it with you, then why have you asked it from me now? To which he disconnected the call abruptly. Zomato is the most ridiculous entity I have ever come across. Just because I filed a complaint with you, they are now providing my number and details to the fraudsters.

      How do I get to know that they are working on my complaint? There is no response whatsoever from Zomato on the status of the refund of ₹229 that I am supposed to get from them.

      28th of July, 2019 is when I placed an order with Zomato, which never was delivered and the money was still deducted from the account, considering that, its the 13th day today. I do not know what is Zomato doing? They are just prolonging things, thinking the customer would mellow down. But, they fail to understand that they are only aggravating it here, as I see no reason to hold the case for so long when they are at fault.

        Hi team,

        This is regarding about zomato service in hyderabad location. Recently i have ordered food on july 28th 2019 and this is my order id :[protected]. The problem which i have faced i waited for food one hour still they don't delivered my food on time and i called to delivery boy he said i am coming into your place within 5 min and i waited half an hour still not coming after that i cancelled my order but that refund amount hasn't back and they have charged amount to us.
        I tried to tell my problem to customer service even they don't take action and said that as per new polices we can't process refund.
        Please take an action on them they are doing not correct way.

          I have placed an through zomato and the very next second i have cancelled the same order the reason behind this was i have applied the promo code but it was not reflected in the order so i have cancelled the same order as soon as possible i have called the restaurant guy to stop making the order to avoid wastage and i had ordered the same order again by applying the promo code the order id[protected] after having a chat via zomato chat the zomato person is just on telling me the same thing it will revert in your account in 24 to 48 hours but, it has passed 7 days but i havent received my debited amount

            I ordered food by partially paying using zomato credits and paytm. The order was not accepted by the restaurant. The customer support told me it's a technical glitch and they are sorry for it. I received the zomato credits back but not the paytm money! Now, when i try to complain about it, i get "we have reviewed your account and regret to inform you that it reflects high amount of credit activity based on your disputed orders in the past. Hence, we will not be able to make any adjustments in this case. It's not my fault zomato partner restaurant's frequently send wrong orders and spilled food. And if your restaurant didn't accept my order, i'm atleast entitled to get my money back!

              My order was not accepted but money was deducted from my account.
              So i used the delivery support cause there is no such customer service for zomato
              The first assistant said it will be refunded in 24-48 hours.
              The second assistant said it will be refunded in 5-7 days according to rbi guidelines.
              The third assistant said the refund is initiated from our side but there is a technical error.

                Big scam zomato
                I ordered food from zomato but rider went to wrong address and refused to come to the right place so we cancelled the order. Then a person called by saying that he is from zomato and wants to refund our money so he shared a doc. To fill all the bank details and all. We did it. And he stole 2k from my account. Then blocked my number. His number [protected]. I tried calling zomato customer service 100 times but no answer.

                  Hope u all the doing well. I want to request that i was just 7 minutes late and within this time the order was cancelled by the rider. I have all the call details and its time. When i reached home i met the rider in person he said he had already cancelled the order and the food will not be delivered to you and shall be returned to the restaurent as it is. I request you to please refund the amount. I admit that i was not able to take the calls as i was driving scooty but within 7 min he cancelled the order. I met him in person but he was not at all supportive. Atleast please refund the ordered amount considering i am your old customer and this happened for the first time.                       Your zomato boy misbehaved with me and tells that he is not delivering the order because the address in not right and he has reached the right address.
                      Inspite of telling him the address is in sector 23 gurgaon that was written in my address details. He misbehaved and abused. I have a history of ordering from zomato and all the delivery boys were cooperating on all parameters but people are like this are misfit for an organization like this. I urge you to remove people like these from your ecosystem. Please see below the details of this person

                        Zomato – i don’t care who is delivering my food or who has cooked it…but am distraught when i don’t get the food that i ordered….

                        If food is your religion, don’t molest your service levels…

                        My questions are…

                        • how can zomato / swiggy be held responsible for service levels.
                        • they cancel the order with a response that money will be refunded, what about the hungry customers who have been waiting for food. They think that the issue has been resolved once refund done.
                        • they claim no responsibility for wrong orders.
                        • the delivery boys don’t know what they are delivering.
                        • what if non veg gets delivered to a vegetarian house? It almost happened last night…

                        I had ordered food at zomato, what i received was something else and the delivery boy did not have a clue on what it was.
                        Tried contacting zomaro to be assaulted by predefined texts and spent considerable time till i could send a message asking them to call me.
                        Received a call later, the call centre agent casually asking me to cancel the order and reorder. He was repeating the same response even after me saying that my kid is sitting hungry. Asked him to put me on to some senior or supervisor. He put me on hold for some time, came back with the claim that no seniors were available and i would have to cut the call, which i refused. Since i did not disconnect, the call was still on. I was getting pretty agitated by now as i was feeling guilty of letting down my hungry kid, it was well past her bed time and she had not eaten.
                        After a long time i receive a call from zomato enquiring on the issue. She again was least bothered (There was no sincerity in the voice), she said that she will put the restaurant on line and clear the matter.
                        When asked about the chain of events, she said that order was placed at 09:03 pm and the delivery boy was at my door at 09:16 pm and that the time during the call was 09:55 pm. When asked why took so much time to even call back, she got agitated and started asking me what i wanted to do now and then cut the call.
                        Finally to top it all, i get a message saying that the restaurant is not responding…

                        My concerns are

                        Are the delivery boys not even trained on checking if they are collecting the right food? The person who came had no clue on even the quantum of order, he was carrying a small box of 6 momos vs 20 ordered. The momos looked dark brown inside, shudder to think if by chance i had touched non veg food.
                        People just don’t have any human values, they are just trained to repeat pre framed statements. There is no feeling o[censored]rgency or remose.

                        Can we have the authorities taking some action on these cheats…

                          Here is the detail of all the transactions, which were not done by me.

                          I have already talked to your helpline, and this is very unfortunate that they are not helping me in any way. How can i make these much of transactions within 2 days. Even zomato is not responding to my call,

                            This is sujeet kumar and i am using zomato app to place orders for food.
                            My account is with the number : [protected]. Since long back i am happily using this account and services of zomato. But yesterday i had a bitter experience which bound me to think that i may use this further.

                            I booked a sweet of my choice from my office (Vikaspuri) to deliver the order to my residence, for a long time my order was not accepted then customer care involved and confirmed that the order which i placed is not in available at the sweet shop where i ordered, then they made conference with the shop owner and then after a short discussion i ordered another sweets.

                            Now the person who came with the order he called and said that he is at (New adarsh apartments, pocket 3, sector 16b dwarka, dwarka, delhi) as per his gps location but my address is (Sharda institute, dwarka sector 16 b, new delhi) and it is hardly 1 kilometer from from his location. Then i coordinated with customer care and customer care asked to send some one to collect the order from him. But it was not possible as my wife and kids were at home for whom i placed the order.

                            After a short discussion they were not agree to move ahead and cancelled my order on the terms of 100 % deduction and i have been charged for which i have not received. Which is definitely unfare and brutal service experience i had with zomato.

                            Amount was not so high but the practice done was very low!

                            I don't feel my writing will work but still i feel to write.
                            If any one is there to look and concern on it.

                              I ordered one pizza from zomato and cancelled it the moment after i order (By mistake ordered regular size but had to order medium size).
                              I contacted an agent just after that asking for refund who told me to put a mail to [protected]@zomato.com. So i sent a mail regarding this, still no reply. Again next day the same thing. Then the 3rd day i again contacted, then i got to know that the cancellation fees is equal to the amount i paid reason beging food goes to waste.
                              I mean within 20seconds i'd cancelled that order and within that time pizza was prepared? Zomato should really change these policies.

                                I ordered food from "it's my way cafe & restro". Order id - [protected]

                                When i called the restaurant within 2mins of ordering they told me to cancel the order as the preparation will be delayed & i cancelled it. A cancellation fees was charged mistakenly as the food is not delivered & i was forced to cancel it.

                                At that time the delivery person was not reached the restaurant.

                                As a regular customer of zomato, i didn't expect this.

                                I paid the full amount or rs82 but food was not delivered. Not satisfied with service.
                                Worst experience, it feels like being cheated by zomato.
                                After getting the refund i will place a new order from zomato.

                                I always try to not to waste food.
                                After you charged the cancellation fees i asked for that food item but your customer care executive told me that the order window has been closed.
                                Mistake is not mine. The mistake is your & your restaurant's.
                                I had no intention to cancel the order but as the restaurant told, the food preparation will be delayed, i had no choice.
                                Zomato is a new platform in berhampur city. If you & your restaurants keep cheating customers like this then your organization won't grow.
                                After this incident you are loosing a valuable customer.
                                As this fault is not mine, kindly revaluate your decision.
                                It's not all about the money i wasted yesterday. I had to suffer a lot as well.

                                After this incident i'll share my feedback regarding this with everyone.

                                  Order placed at zomato on 10th july2019 at 8:01pm video ref [protected] (Bangalore). Irrespective of repeated call, phone not reach to delivery guy. I am standing outside home on road half an hour for delivery and on contacting zomato helpline At 8:49pm official revert That number is not reachable so delivery guy go back. When I asked for refund of paid Rs378, they said they will refund it Between 4 to 5 days. The whole incident spoil my 1 hour with zomato and another 1hour for looking other option for food since zomato fail to give customer service. Total dissatisfaction, harassment and money paid advance they told will refund within 5 days which not received so far. On 27 July again contacted the tomato official which told at 3:12pm that refund not initiated before but now he will initiate the refund and same will get in next4-5 days. Today again while in talk with other official (Gautam) from zomato he straight forward denied about refund. Our hard earn money zomato loots and making fool of people. It will be appreciated if services of such kind of company close in India.

                                    I have paid for an order today through Paytm - though paytm deducted the amount, the order was not successful. Zomato customer service says this is due to payment failure. The same thing happened last week and my payments through credit card, Paytm Andrew lazy pay all got deducted but orders were unsuccessful. Then also Zomato customer service said this is due to payment gateway failure and that the money would definitely get refunded . To date nothing has got refunded . Zomato are cheats and liars ! This app should be shut down . Now I don’t know how to get my refund. As they just communicate through a chat and that too doesn’t resolve anything .

                                    Hi informed many times when food is spoiled you guys accept it as an apologize and refund the money and than block the customer without no reason can you please tell if no fault or quilty found why you guys refund and block without customer knowledge

                                      After order food from zomato the location will b showing wrong and if v try to tel delivery boys to come to address mentioned on the receipt thy cancel the order and don't refund money. Zomato loot money in the name of penalty
                                      They take 50rs delivery charge n deliver in cycle which takes long time. Most of the delivery boys doesn't know the address. They as us to come half the way to pick up the delivery

                                        I place on order on 2:51 am at 1 aug 2019 on pizza tune restaurant in ahmedabad. The restaurant manager was accepted my order, and i received notification of your food has been prepared. I have already waited 30 min to receive my food, after 30 min i have one call with zomato he asked me to your order has been canceled because the restaurant is closed. How it's possible, if the restaurant is closed then who is accepted my order in pizza tune restaurant.

                                        I do chat with customer support at 4:00 am. He asked me to order has been automatically accepted but if order automatically accepted then why that restaurant is online on zomato store.

                                        Zomato guy was a conference call with me and restaurant manager, and restaurant manager asked me we are accepting orders but delivery boy does not come on time so that we canceled your order and call was disconnected by zomato centre. So who is the right guy to ask me zomato or restaurant manager?

                                        I have such a very bad experience with zomato and pizza tune restaurant because of him behavior zomato guy ask me to i will you the coupon in for that issue so avoid that. He tried to take bribe. How rood behavior of zomato support guy.

                                        I never recommend placing an order on pizza tune restaurant. Also, suggest to zomato management team, he needs to check it out of how zomato employee was playing with the customer.

                                        Here no matter about cancelation here matter about time. He wested my 1 hour and i am very hungry on that night.

                                        I ordered Jar Cake from Zomato i have found a piece of glass in the Jar. Thankfully i discovered it before putting it in my mouth. These guys dont check the food quality, they are only profit driven and dont pay attention to customer satisfaction and quality of food. Its my humble request to please look into this matter seriously.
