Order placed at zomato on 10th july2019 at 8:01pm video ref [protected] (Bangalore). Irrespective of repeated call, phone not reach to delivery guy. I am standing outside home on road half an hour for delivery and on contacting zomato helpline At 8:49pm official revert That number is not reachable so delivery guy go back. When I asked for refund of paid Rs378, they said they will refund it Between 4 to 5 days. The whole incident spoil my 1 hour with zomato and another 1hour for looking other option for food since zomato fail to give customer service. Total dissatisfaction, harassment and money paid advance they told will refund within 5 days which not received so far. On 27 July again contacted the tomato official which told at 3:12pm that refund not initiated before but now he will initiate the refund and same will get in next4-5 days. Today again while in talk with other official (Gautam) from zomato he straight forward denied about refund. Our hard earn money zomato loots and making fool of people. It will be appreciated if services of such kind of company close in India.

    I have paid for an order today through Paytm - though paytm deducted the amount, the order was not successful. Zomato customer service says this is due to payment failure. The same thing happened last week and my payments through credit card, Paytm Andrew lazy pay all got deducted but orders were unsuccessful. Then also Zomato customer service said this is due to payment gateway failure and that the money would definitely get refunded . To date nothing has got refunded . Zomato are cheats and liars ! This app should be shut down . Now I don’t know how to get my refund. As they just communicate through a chat and that too doesn’t resolve anything .

    Hi informed many times when food is spoiled you guys accept it as an apologize and refund the money and than block the customer without no reason can you please tell if no fault or quilty found why you guys refund and block without customer knowledge

      After order food from zomato the location will b showing wrong and if v try to tel delivery boys to come to address mentioned on the receipt thy cancel the order and don't refund money. Zomato loot money in the name of penalty
      They take 50rs delivery charge n deliver in cycle which takes long time. Most of the delivery boys doesn't know the address. They as us to come half the way to pick up the delivery

        I place on order on 2:51 am at 1 aug 2019 on pizza tune restaurant in ahmedabad. The restaurant manager was accepted my order, and i received notification of your food has been prepared. I have already waited 30 min to receive my food, after 30 min i have one call with zomato he asked me to your order has been canceled because the restaurant is closed. How it's possible, if the restaurant is closed then who is accepted my order in pizza tune restaurant.

        I do chat with customer support at 4:00 am. He asked me to order has been automatically accepted but if order automatically accepted then why that restaurant is online on zomato store.

        Zomato guy was a conference call with me and restaurant manager, and restaurant manager asked me we are accepting orders but delivery boy does not come on time so that we canceled your order and call was disconnected by zomato centre. So who is the right guy to ask me zomato or restaurant manager?

        I have such a very bad experience with zomato and pizza tune restaurant because of him behavior zomato guy ask me to i will you the coupon in for that issue so avoid that. He tried to take bribe. How rood behavior of zomato support guy.

        I never recommend placing an order on pizza tune restaurant. Also, suggest to zomato management team, he needs to check it out of how zomato employee was playing with the customer.

        Here no matter about cancelation here matter about time. He wested my 1 hour and i am very hungry on that night.

        I ordered Jar Cake from Zomato i have found a piece of glass in the Jar. Thankfully i discovered it before putting it in my mouth. These guys dont check the food quality, they are only profit driven and dont pay attention to customer satisfaction and quality of food. Its my humble request to please look into this matter seriously.

          The zomato app did that i got my food delivered but i didn't receive food nor a call from the delivery executive.
          I tried calling the delivery executive also but he wouldn't pick up my call at all
          The zomato customer care isn't responding to me and now i've already paid for my food online, haven't received my food and have to travel with an empty stomach.
          No one from zomato is bothered to even check up on if the order is delivered or not
          I've sent in 2 mails but they say it'll take 24-48 hours to respond

          I selected location by searching jalandhar heights but the options given by app i selected the same.but they disnt deliver me and said location is not correct. location is choosen by automated.and saying not correct location as is shown in image it was same i mentioned

            My name is s. R. Murali from coimbatore. Today, i had a worst experience during lunch time. I ordered two items in zomato for me and my wife. The delivery boy without even checking the bill on the number of items, he picked only item from the mess and delivered it and fled away. When asked to redeliver, he is speaking of rules of refund and cancellation to me when i am hungry. I had to rush back to the mess and get the package myself.

            His name is s. Santhoshkumar. I am really sorry to say the action of this delivery boy will have a greater impact on your brand. I assure you i will tell this story to whomever i meet in the future.

            Where is your moto customer first gone?

              It's been one week since i've register my complaint with zomato but they are not responsive. I have been cheated by the delivery executive. He did not deliver my order to me. He did not pick up my call on that day. I told about this to zomato but they did not take any action. Please take some strict action on zomato as well as the delivery executive and try to make a refund of my order. I hope you will understand the issue and resolve it. I am attaching the screenshots for your reference. Kindly look into the matter.

              I have even email zomato on ([protected]@zomato.com) about the problem but they are not interested in solving my problem. The issue is still not resolved so i am attaching the screenshots of the email regarding the issue.

              As zomato doesn't take my issue seriously and neither look into this matter, i hope they can't do anything now As my issue has not been resolved yet, i am looking forward to deactivate my account . I don't find this complaint forum useful as of now.

                Placed an order yesterday night 1 august at 8:55 pm with order id #[protected]. I didn't receive the order even after 11pm. I constantly called the restuarant and it kept saying the rider is not assigned. When the rider was assigned it refused to give me the contact number of the rider. I was constantly in chat with zomato chat support for assistance. After i raised a complaint on zomato chat support the delivery guy contacted me after 12pm asking where my address is and said my number was unreachable and he even contacted zomato support to call me. While i received no such calls from him or zomato. Please refund the amount of the order as it was not delivered and the rider refused to deliver the food even after knowledge of the address.

                    This is regarding the zomato order id: [protected] which was placed on 31 july 2019, order amount inr 65/- (After applying coupon)

                    I have neither received the order nor the refund and its been now 1days that i am chasing with pathetic zomato email support for this with no luck.

                    After waiting for around 3-4 hours for my order to get delivered, i got the message that my order has been delivered.
                    Note, that it was a prepaid order, and i didn’t get any contact of delivery boy also there is no option to rate their services for that particular order.

                    When i have contacted the zomato chat support they send me only system generated messages, i was trying to call zomato but i didn’t get any answer from them.

                      I have ordered yesterday 2 pizza's from la pinoz pizza ellisbrig Ahmedabad from my father's mobile. I have paid advance through Paytm.

                      I got message from Zomato regarding delivery man left restaurant to deliver my order. I waited 30 to 40 minutes but no one came at my location. Even I also not get the details of delivery person as well as no tracking even show on their mobile application. After 30 to 40 minutes I got message that they have cancelled my order due to I am not at my location and I am not contactable at all. As I have ordered from my father's mobile I have changed the number in account because of the other number is not working. I have changed the Same before the order but in order summary it shows old inactive number. I accept that I am not contactable due to inactiv number but delivery partner also not came at my location and Zomato cancelled order showing reason that I was not at my location to collect the food and not contactable as if I was paid advance and I was at my home and even I have given right address and also marked on map my exact location.

                      I have mailed to Zomato regarding the same but they said as I am not contactable and not at my place they cancelled the order and they denied for refund.

                      I think due to Zomato have policy related to cancelled order as thr delivery person can take cancelled order the delivery person started this types of practice to cancelled the order and take the food for themselves.

                      Zomato have no control over their delivery person and we have to suffer by paying hard earned money for this fraud.

                        I have ordered on 30/07/2019 2 pizza's from la pinoz Ellis bridge Ahmedabad and for that I have paid online. After 15 to 20 minutes I got message that my delivery person left from restaurant to deliver my order. After 20 minutes of that message I got message that my order has cancelled due to I have not picked up my phone because of it was switched off. As I have ordered from Zomato so many times some times delivery partner call or may not call before delivery. I have also marked my location exactly on which I have got my previous order successfully but due to non pickup their call my order was cancelled as assumed I am not at home but the delivery partner never came at my location and I have contacted Zomato regarding the same they said that as you are not contactable we cancelled your order.This is not the solution Ian not full to pay advance for my order and the delivery partner also never arrived but reported that I am not contactable. As he left restaurant to deliver my order than he has to came at my home and if i am not there than he has to cancel my. Order instade of coming to my home he cancelled due to non contactable. Zomato also not respond to my several mails.I want my money back and also they have work on this problems otherwise people left you as we have so many other options also.

                          This is regarding the zomato order id: [protected] which was placed on 15th july 2019, order amount inr 256/-

                          I have neither received the order nor the refund and its been now 15 days that i am chasing with pathetic zomato email support for this with no luck.

                          After waiting for around 45 minutes for my order to get delivered, i got the message that my order has been cancelled.
                          Note, that it was a prepaid order, delivery boy collected it from the restaurant however didn't delivered to me.

                          When i have contacted the zomato chat support i have been told that your order has been cancelled due to wrong address.
                          I am still wondering that how my address could be incorrect (Its my home address, which is saved in my profile) when i have got many successful deliveries in past from zomato itself.

                          In the email response i have been told that 'if the order gets cancelled due to wrong user address then a cancellation charge is levied'.
                          1) it was not a wrong address (Why would i provide a wrong address for an prepaid order?).
                          2) i have not cancelled the order, so why would i face the charges.

                          So i am not accepting this and would need the amount to be refunded with compensation. This is my hard earned money and i would not let anyone steal it from me either its a small amount or big...

                          Zomato team contacted me and I briefed them about the issue, they agreed with my point that address was correct. As earlier orders were delivered on the same address successfully. I have received the amount as Zomato Credits .. Thanks..

                            I had ordered food on Zomato, Order Number: [protected] for Rs. 173.60 on July 30th 2019. I received a delivered message update but I had not received the food, the delivery agent Mohammad Abraz to whom I had spoken on [protected] said he delivered the food on the address mentioned in the order. I had requested him to come to the address and identify the place where he had delivered the food but he refused. I had talked to Zomato support but they only said the agent has confirmed the delivery and they cannot do anything about it. Don't really understand this callous behaviour, if they cannot take the responsibility of a delivery why setup a delivery service? Why don't they have an OPT system where the order can only be delivered to the person who has the OPT for the order. They have given me a 43.50 credit in account which I can use later. How can they justify Rs. 43.50 for a order value of Rs. 173.60.

                                I ordered food from zomato. The application stated 35 minutes as delivery time. I waited for the said period but no one contacted me up till 50 minutes. Post waiting this long, i contacted zomato delivery person but the contact number was not reachable. I raised the issue with zomato chat support where they informed that order has been delivered. I was astonished to hear such robotic replies. I again informed them that the status marked on website is incorrect as i have not received the order.
                                Zomato team rechecked with delivery person and could not find any solution as they also could not reach the rider on his contact number. Later, after this long wait and discussion zomato team said that they will refund my amount.
                                At this statement i was very much frustrated as i have already waited for more that an hour and after all this wait they had refund as solution.
                                What about the long wait time which customer has spent.
                                Over to this, after a long conversation, zomato agent confirmed that i will get order delivered as well as a refund however, after some time the agent turned back and said he could do only one of these. This unprofessional behavior and faulty commitments has really moved me against it and i seek for a solution from consumer court on this harassment. I have saved all screenshots of chat with zomato agent as well.

                                  The delivery guy just called me once and i called him back within 1mins a d then called him 3 times and the restaurant too none of them answered.
                                  And the order was cancelled within few mins with no refund this is not acceptable at all as i was the one following up endlessly and they just did a favour of calling me once.

                                  I spoke to the zomato help desk but they are least bothered just doing the formality.
                                  It's not the matter of money it's the matter of consumer service and should be strict from the government and act on this firms which take things lightly as most people do not even complaint

                                    It’s been so disappointing experience from zomato.

                                    I recently ordered some pack of sweet of rs. 1340 order number [protected] from zomato after having order the restaurant has declined my order and your team has informed us that refunded has been initiated on 22/07/19 and confirm us that your bank may take up to 7 business days to process the refund. Now the said period has been passed and still i did not found the same, i have already taken your support from your back-end team but they have only excuses that please contact with your bank with providing refund reference number that is 75503729204031585662429, so i just wants to say that bank have no rights to check through the refund reference number, it is to inform you that it was my first order and if first is getting this through, then you don't think again with zomato, also the amount is huge so please look into the matter immediately as for your better work chat support snap is attached with this e-mail

                                    Just think if the same case is happening with you that what you will do? I hope you will understand my problem and revert back with positive response

                                        Yesterday i ordered some food on zomato. The app showed me that it wil reached to my house within 1 hour. So i waited for it. But after 1 hour there was no phone call nor the delivery of my ordered food. But after few minutes i get a massage that show they had cancelled my order. After that i call them. They told me to reorder. But when i want to reorder they claim the money of my previous order. But i think it is impossible to me. Because i have no online bank facilitie.in this circumstances i can't order any food. Only i cant stop the app. What is the solutio? Pls give me the way out of my proble.
