I have ordered food from zomato and provided my address and paid bill as well. They never mentioned that i have to provide inspection to delivery boy about my location.in app it mentioned it was indicating my location properly so i didn't bother much. Later i see that my order got cancelled mentioning i was not present at site. It is clear indication that delivery boy purposefully didn't deliver my food. They are not refunding my money also. It is pathetic service from zomato

Order had not been placed at dominos faridkot but my money was deducted from from my account in course of online transaction.
Payment was unsuccessful due to some error
I want that amount to be refunded back into my account
Or otherwise pleaselet me knw the procedure of refund of my money

    My name is amardeep vishwakrma. I had ordered food from zomato (Pune) order no. #[protected] which is egg biryani when i got food it was look like same but after eating 6 /7 spone biryani i have seen many small chicken pieces of chicken. It was not an proper chicken biryani but it has small pieces of chicken it is not by mistake. I am vegetarian i only eat agg i want to file complaint against zomato and restaurants i want compensation it is a case of "daram bratha". Please do take serious action.

    I have ordered soup from Zomato Ahmedabad and they always try to exploit our paid money as they poured all liquid food in plastic bag and tried to deliver me and when I rejected to accept than they applied a penalty on me

    I also complained about my order in Monday.. I ordered 115 rs maggi combo, in combo including Manchurian fry rice and coke but I got 50 rs maggi... that ur executive text me within 24 hour ur 65 rs credit in ur zamato wallet but still amount is not credit please resolve my complaint as soon as. I send already that order photo .. it's not my fault.
    I ordered a cake from nearest the chocolate room store and paid rs 376 but the order was rejected by the store. It has been 9 days after that but I have still not received my money back for order ID [protected].

      I have ordered from metro cafe through zomato. Zomato valet named arun assigned to me after one hour it shown as delivered but i didn't receive any food. I contacted to zomato they didn't help me. I called valet his phone was switched off, i called restaurant also even owner himself called valet but his phone was switched off.         Hi Zomato Team,
        I have ordered medium size pizza from and received regular size pizza and I have already sent mail to Zomato support team and provided all required details and pic. Also sent two chaser mails and it's been almost 48 hrs I haven't received any response from Zomato.
        It's totally mistake from Zomato and I have to suffer now.
        Can you please let me know what to do next.
        Should I do suicide saying that I am not getting response from Zomato even if I've already paid and suffering from your mistakes.

          I ordered sweet lassi on zomato by mistake but i cancelled it within 3 minutes but they didn't refund my amount saying that restaurant already started to prepare your lassi so no refund will be issued.this is completely not acceptable for a student each and every rupee counts i am not going to use zomato anymore throughout the life..this is very disheartening.

            We have placed a order in a hotel in Ludhiana through Zomato. Though we were receiving the orders daily at the same hotel location that day the delivery person told its a different location and order can't be delivered. Inspite of repeatedly mailing the customer care people there is no solution but a stereotype answer from your end.
            When we are not cancelling the order why are you charging us cancellation charges.
            One side we depended on Zomato for the food in the night time that too in a new city for us other side your delivery person or Zomato people do not entrust the delivery to the correct person. Over that you make us repent for trusting your delivery.
            And you great people send a intimation saying we are not available to receive order. Who on earth will order food, pay money and disappear without receiving it. Maybe someone from Zomato can do such great things.
            We stayed hungry the night, paid amount for the food which we din't eat and repeatedly contacting customer care daily since that day for the follow up and you guys send the same copy paste reply.
            If you were in the place of customer you would know the pain.
            We wish to know what happened to the food finally. You din't deliver us, you dint give back to the hotel. So what has happened to it. Please don't play with customers trusting you.
            This is the reason Zomato have so many customer issues all over india were ever it's services are available. We never face such unofficial behavior from Swiggy.

                I placed an order today afternoon 22nd july 2019, on ZOMATO app.Order #[protected].

                I placed the order, the money got deducted from my paytm account, and within 60 seconds i cancelled the order before i could possibly receive a notification that the order is accepted by the restro.

                I ordered readymade bakery items. and I was denied any refund, saying that the restro accepted the order(which is false) and the food was prepared and it got wasted(which is false once again)

                I communicated with the executive available on app and on his suggestion I communicated ZOMATO via there email too, but everytime the same reply came to me stating that the food got prepared and it got wasted which is practically not possible with a bakery shop or within 60 seconds.

                Please take necessary action against a company like ZOMATO, who can lie for a meagre amount just to make money. I am unsure how many people get cheated like this all over India on daily basis by ZOMATO.

                  Hi, I have placed an order of Poha from Zomato on 29-June-2019, the description of the product stated that the Poha is 1 full bowl and is full of peanuts, the description clearly used the words "Flattened rice cooked with potatoes and onions. The highlight of eating it - the crunchy discovery of peanuts within bites. never complain about working for peanuts". Considering this description to be true i placed this order, while I was placing the order it reflected an amount of Rs 99 but an amount of Rs 124 deducted and same is reflected in the bill. As soon as the order was confirmed I raised my concern of extra amount deduction to their chat support team to which they said that we cannot help as Rs 99 has only been deducted. After some time i received the order and on the bill it clearly reflected an amount of Rs 124, whose photo was also then shared to zomato, then suddenly they said that we will revert Rs 25 as a zomato credit. After that when I opened the box of Poha received, i was shocked with the quantity and quality of the product. The quantity was very less not even half a bowl and there were no peanuts and potatoes in the Poha as per the description, I again raised my concern to Zomato to which they responded that we can not do anything and if you have any concerns then you can contact the restaurant directly. But if Zomato does not have any say on the order placed through Zomato then what is the reason of its existence in first place. I would have directly placed the order through restaurant, why does anybody need zomato then. This is a clear case of cheating wherein you deduct extra amount from customers wallet and then refund it as zomato credit as these credits can only be used for placing order on zomato, secondly you cheat customers by fake description of the product on their app and when customer complains about it they say that we can not do anything. Also while placing the complain I asked the chat support to share the complain id with me, to which I was clearly denied that they do not have a system of reference no., in my opinion this is again an illegal activity that you chat with a customer and there is no reference no generated for the same. I want a complete refund as well as a compensation for waste of my time and energy chasing zomato for refund. Please note: it is not about the quality of the food it is about the description mentioned on the zomato app, which was misleading and made with an intention to fool customers

                    I have ordered Punjabi paneer masala(Order No. [protected]) from Om sweets on 21/07/2019. i immediately cancel the order with in a minute of ordering it. I paid RS 250 for this order and Zomato deducted the whole amount as cancellation charges which includes item cost+ delivery charges. I had a long chat with Vijay singh customer care executive and he assured me of full refund after taking the exceptional approval from his senior as a prime customer and he suggested me to drop an email to [protected]@zomato.com. I dropped an email to the same email id and i got the response from Zomato that we cant refund your amount as the food was prepared/dispatched. At the same time I talked to OM sweets manager where i placed the order and he told me sir your order was rejected since the order was cancelled, so we have not prepare your order.

                    How can Zomato entitled to take the full amount with delivering anything?

I ordered from sri lakshmi food court and ice-creams tried to change my address but not reachable to the delivery boy tried calling many calls so told in text to change the address by help support to report about the change of address but they didn't and the order is cancelled.                         I have placed an order on 22nd June & immediately the application has shown me the payment error (Payment could not be processed due to some error).

                        As my money got deducted so I have texted to zomato support and they said me to place a new order and previous order money will be refunded.
                        After sometime in the app it was showing as both the orders were delivered.
                        Contacted Zomato support 4-5 times and not received any proper response and even mailed my problem to Zomato twice.

                        Finally no refund has been received. very bad experience and false info received from Zomato delivery support.

                          I had ordered a cake from zomato on 17th july 2019 and after half hour of confirming my order, the owner called me to say that the cake is not available and that i have to cancel my order. So i cancelled it and complained about the same to chat support and they said i should mail this to [protected]@zomato.com. I did. I mailed 3 more times to zomato. It's been 5 days now. I still havent got the refund and the chat support guys are saying they cant help me. Noone is responding on mail too. This is by far the worst experience at zomato. I want my refund back. Please help.

                            I had ordered baby corn chilly for rs 128 from dumsum, patna on 12th july, 2019. While ordering in the transaction step it said transaction incomplete, order not placed. This happened twice.in the third time the order got successfully placed. I later noticed that an amount of rs 128 has been debited twice from my account in name of zomato though only a single order was successfully placed. I hereby provide the order number of the orders.

                              Hi,

                              First of all i request you to do not go for a stereotype reply and read the entire matter, so you just not give a reply but a solution for that. Previously i mailed the same issue twice and two different representatives (Ticket id 844175 and 855204) replied in same manner, same text by only checking against the order number. So whoever reading this mail, please go through the entire mail, but not only checking history against the order number. If possible please involve your higher authority in this case, because i believe zomato will not want to lose a single customer. And also preserve their reputation as well.

                              I ordered food on zomato on 7th of july 2019. Cash on delivery option.

                              Due to some technical reason or poor network, zomato was not able to contact me, but sent me the delivery boy's contact number. I tried to contact him repetitively and always find it busy. The entire process only took 15 to 20 minutes after order submission.
                              After many attempts i was able to contact the delivery boy and directed him to how to reach me.
                              He delivered the food and i paid him the amount rs. 97 as billed. So it must be considered as a successful transaction from both sides.
                              Unfortunately the delivery boy told me that the order was cancelled by zomato itself (Please note: i didn't cancelled the order any way from my side)
                              Now my problem is - when i am trying to order something on zomato, they are adding rs.97 as "previous cancellation charges".

                              My question is -
                              Why i have to pay that rs.97 again which i have been paid already by ash on delivery???
                              Is it justifiable to cancel order itself if zomato unable to contact the person, while the person never asked for cancellation?
                              I wonder, why zomato didn't verify the transaction status by querying the restaurant as well as the assigned delivery boy?
                              If there is no fault exist in customer side (The mobile network problem is not in customer hand), then why the customer should be penalised?
                              When i talked to zomato delivery support (Chat mode) had following reply -
                              They told me, hey will remove the cancellation fee that time and it will take some time to reflect on backend. Asked me to wait for one hour.
                              After one day i tried to order but same problem happened.
                              If the chat support person not able to remove that amount, why did gave me false assurance?
                              I am requesting that -
                              Please remove the "cancellation charges", so that i can order again using zomato
                              Else tell me other option (I tried different account/ email/ phone no. But same problem happened)
                              Last of all like to tell something -
                              I don't want to leave zomato at all, but this kind of harassment surely make me to go for alternatives
                              I also don't want to go to "consumer forum" or any "legal step" for such small amount, which can be resolve easily by good initiation from your side, i believe. But this is the last option.
                              I am not going to pay a single buck as cancellation charge. There are plenty of options in market, you can understand well.
                              You must think twice before replying, about your reputation.

                              I wish you have read all the above points and understand my concern.

                              I again request you not to reply as stereotype manner as previous mails. Please come with actual solution.

                                I Ordered in Zomato on 12.07.2019. They asked me "Restaurant didn't confirm my order, So do you want to cancel your order". I said "Yes". Then they cancel my order, and initiate a refund. But still (20.07.2019) I didn't get my amount (Rs.350). My order Id is : [protected].                                   I refer to my order dated 20/07/2019 from harilal sweets. When rider called me for delivery, i couldn't pick the phone, but when i saw the message for contacting rider to get my order delivered, i called the rider. When i contacted the rider he told me to cancel the order. When i again called him and asked for delivery of my order as it was not returned to harilal, he said that he has eaten the order and riders eat the order of items are not delivered and said go and complaint wherever you want. I had made the full payment online. My money is also not refunded. Please look into the matter and resolve it at the earliest.

                                    I had ordered food worth 752inr today from punjabi unplugged in bangalore. I had specifically asked the zomato help to convey the restaurant to not make the food spicy and he had confirmed the same. However, the food turned out to be super spicy and we could not eat anything apart from veg fried rice and garlic naan. I asked the zomato help to refund me the money for the food that was wasted or to resend me the order. However i did not get any help. Request you to refund/resend my order.

                                      On 4th of april 2018, zomato charged me 90 rupees penalty for canceling my order. That was the first time i used zomato. The delivery boy was unable to come to my location. He called me to come to his location at that time and that was not possible. So, zomato girl called me talks with bad behavior. He told that you will be charged for your next order. What can i do in this thing? I was unable to go to that place. I need a full refund for this penalty.

                                        I have ordered food on zomato today evening. I have made the payment online. The order was accepted by the restaurant. After sometime the delivery boy called and asked the address which was already given at the time of booking. But he said that my booking has been cancelled stating the fact that the distance is very much, which is totally baseless as it should have been checked at the time of booking. My booking id is [protected].
                                        Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
