I am harika from tadepalligudem. I ordered from sri lakshmi food court and ice-creams tried to change my address but not reachable to the delivery boy tried calling many calls so told in text to change the address by help support to report about the change of address but they didn't and the order is cancelled. Can you please look into the issue and resolve it.

    I have placed an order on 22nd June & immediately the application has shown me the payment error (Payment could not be processed due to some error).

    As my money got deducted so I have texted to zomato support and they said me to place a new order and previous order money will be refunded.
    After sometime in the app it was showing as both the orders were delivered.
    Contacted Zomato support 4-5 times and not received any proper response and even mailed my problem to Zomato twice.

    Finally no refund has been received. very bad experience and false info received from Zomato delivery support.

      I had ordered a cake from zomato on 17th july 2019 and after half hour of confirming my order, the owner called me to say that the cake is not available and that i have to cancel my order. So i cancelled it and complained about the same to chat support and they said i should mail this to [protected]@zomato.com. I did. I mailed 3 more times to zomato. It's been 5 days now. I still havent got the refund and the chat support guys are saying they cant help me. Noone is responding on mail too. This is by far the worst experience at zomato. I want my refund back. Please help.

        I had ordered baby corn chilly for rs 128 from dumsum, patna on 12th july, 2019. While ordering in the transaction step it said transaction incomplete, order not placed. This happened twice.in the third time the order got successfully placed. I later noticed that an amount of rs 128 has been debited twice from my account in name of zomato though only a single order was successfully placed. I hereby provide the order number of the orders.
        1. Unsuccessful order at 6:21 pm, [protected].
        2. Unsuccessful order at 6: 22 pm, [protected].
        3. Successful order at 6:24 pm, [protected].
        Please look into the matter and initiate a refund of rs 128 as soon as possible.

        I was placing order at pizza pie via my zomato app through online payment but money deducted from my account order not placed.
        I want refund. 135₹ deducted from my account on 19th July at 3.26pm

          Hi,

          First of all i request you to do not go for a stereotype reply and read the entire matter, so you just not give a reply but a solution for that. Previously i mailed the same issue twice and two different representatives (Ticket id 844175 and 855204) replied in same manner, same text by only checking against the order number. So whoever reading this mail, please go through the entire mail, but not only checking history against the order number. If possible please involve your higher authority in this case, because i believe zomato will not want to lose a single customer. And also preserve their reputation as well.

          I ordered food on zomato on 7th of july 2019. Cash on delivery option.

          Due to some technical reason or poor network, zomato was not able to contact me, but sent me the delivery boy's contact number. I tried to contact him repetitively and always find it busy. The entire process only took 15 to 20 minutes after order submission.
          After many attempts i was able to contact the delivery boy and directed him to how to reach me.
          He delivered the food and i paid him the amount rs. 97 as billed. So it must be considered as a successful transaction from both sides.
          Unfortunately the delivery boy told me that the order was cancelled by zomato itself (Please note: i didn't cancelled the order any way from my side)
          Now my problem is - when i am trying to order something on zomato, they are adding rs.97 as "previous cancellation charges".

          My question is -
          Why i have to pay that rs.97 again which i have been paid already by ash on delivery???
          Is it justifiable to cancel order itself if zomato unable to contact the person, while the person never asked for cancellation?
          I wonder, why zomato didn't verify the transaction status by querying the restaurant as well as the assigned delivery boy?
          If there is no fault exist in customer side (The mobile network problem is not in customer hand), then why the customer should be penalised?
          When i talked to zomato delivery support (Chat mode) had following reply -
          They told me, hey will remove the cancellation fee that time and it will take some time to reflect on backend. Asked me to wait for one hour.
          After one day i tried to order but same problem happened.
          If the chat support person not able to remove that amount, why did gave me false assurance?
          I am requesting that -
          Please remove the "cancellation charges", so that i can order again using zomato
          Else tell me other option (I tried different account/ email/ phone no. But same problem happened)
          Last of all like to tell something -
          I don't want to leave zomato at all, but this kind of harassment surely make me to go for alternatives
          I also don't want to go to "consumer forum" or any "legal step" for such small amount, which can be resolve easily by good initiation from your side, i believe. But this is the last option.
          I am not going to pay a single buck as cancellation charge. There are plenty of options in market, you can understand well.
          You must think twice before replying, about your reputation.

          I wish you have read all the above points and understand my concern.

          I again request you not to reply as stereotype manner as previous mails. Please come with actual solution.

            I Ordered in Zomato on 12.07.2019. They asked me "Restaurant didn't confirm my order, So do you want to cancel your order". I said "Yes". Then they cancel my order, and initiate a refund. But still (20.07.2019) I didn't get my amount (Rs.350). My order Id is : [protected]. So kindly do the needful and refund my amount as soon as possible.

              I refer to my order dated 20/07/2019 from harilal sweets. When rider called me for delivery, i couldn't pick the phone, but when i saw the message for contacting rider to get my order delivered, i called the rider. When i contacted the rider he told me to cancel the order. When i again called him and asked for delivery of my order as it was not returned to harilal, he said that he has eaten the order and riders eat the order of items are not delivered and said go and complaint wherever you want. I had made the full payment online. My money is also not refunded. Please look into the matter and resolve it at the earliest.

                I had ordered food worth 752inr today from punjabi unplugged in bangalore. I had specifically asked the zomato help to convey the restaurant to not make the food spicy and he had confirmed the same. However, the food turned out to be super spicy and we could not eat anything apart from veg fried rice and garlic naan. I asked the zomato help to refund me the money for the food that was wasted or to resend me the order. However i did not get any help. Request you to refund/resend my order.

                  On 4th of april 2018, zomato charged me 90 rupees penalty for canceling my order. That was the first time i used zomato. The delivery boy was unable to come to my location. He called me to come to his location at that time and that was not possible. So, zomato girl called me talks with bad behavior. He told that you will be charged for your next order. What can i do in this thing? I was unable to go to that place. I need a full refund for this penalty.

                    I have ordered food on zomato today evening. I have made the payment online. The order was accepted by the restaurant. After sometime the delivery boy called and asked the address which was already given at the time of booking. But he said that my booking has been cancelled stating the fact that the distance is very much, which is totally baseless as it should have been checked at the time of booking.                       We ordered food from rahamms restaurant @ 6:30 pm on sunday 21/7/2019 order no:[protected] & cancelled immidietly, from paytm, they took money also when i asked to send food they r refusing saying it can't be sent, if order has been started to prepare as u said as a reason for not giving money back u can atleast send food like uber eats & swiggy apps if order is cancelled they give food if not refund, u r not giving money back not even giving food this is the worst experience i have ever faced from online food i'm very disappointed

                        I ordered on 7th july from rahul restaurant. Some how zomato unable to contact that time. But later i contacted the delivery boy and food was delivered and i paid that 97 amount.

                        But now when i try to order on zomato, they adding 97 as cancellation charge. But why should i pay that amount?

                        Please sort this issue, because i don't want to pay any more amount again as cancellation charge, which is paid already.

                        Today evening i need to order something and can't order without the cancellation charge.

                          I would like to inform you that one of the zomato delivery person misbehave with ladies in the lift lobby. He was trying to block the ladies form entering outside, when the ladies asked him to move aside he was absued them and entered the lift.
                          Kindly take necessary action against him. Next time he will not be allowed to deliver in the apartment complex.

                            If a delivery man is in a hurry, strictly don't send him to deliver and then show his frustration over customers. If the customers is unable to pick the call or busy over a call, it also might happen that they are in emergency. Ask some of your delivery man to be patient and wait, for the customers will contact at your provided number. Show some humanity and understand the customers problem too without being impatient and rude.😡

                              Hi this is sunil kumar banjare,
                              Got a call from [protected] today at 12.28pm, related to buy gold member ship, she said to apply me this code to get discount if i buy zomato gold for one year plan, she told code 'goldwelcomeback' and applied yearly plan of 959 after applying that it was showing discount of 191 rs and paid through paytm but after paying i did not get any discount at all. She said to call me back after buying plan and she not even receiving call after caling 20+ times
                              Please tell me what can i do. I dont wanted to buy plan but i bought because of getting discount.

                                  I ordered food, paid the money in advance. Now, might be your delivery boy called me but i was on another i guess so didn't get any call in call waiting. So, i was completely unaware that there is somebody call me.

                                  Now, after some time when i checked my food status on the app, it was showing the customer was not able at the address.

                                  Now, this is impossible. I was there at my address. That one is my office address. I ordered multiple times at the same address and you guys delivered. But this time, your delivery boy didn't work hard to come to my office. Even though he was having the exact address, exact location but still he was not able to reach my office and put a comment saying the customer was not available.

                                  Just think about it, i made an advance payment. If this would have been cash on delivery then your guys would have come to my place easily because he has to collect money.

                                  Now, zomato team is not answering about?

                                  1. Why the delivery guys didn't come to my office?
                                  2. Why the order cancellation status is showing i was not available at the given address?
                                  3. Where is my food if you canceled it? Because the food is not given back to the restaurant as i confirmed with him.

                                    I had cancelled my order in 2 mins after placing the order. Got this email that there is no refund. Why is it so?
                                    Please initiate my refund as soon as possible. Zomoto doesn't have option to cancel order immediately after placing. Got reply from zomato that food is as prepared. Don't lie. See the updates in order history that i had cancelled order within 2 mins after placing it. Same i had updated to them multiple times. No restaurant cannot make order in 2-3 mins after placing. If yes as per zomato reply then that is again a big issue as your partner restaurant is not giving fresh food. Ask multiple times to give me customer care number over email, but no response. Even they didn't call me just for sake to solve my complaint.

                                      I have order from zomato. After 45 minutes i got message that my order has been cancelled due to unresponsiveness. The delivery person didnt even entered the office. He just called me and left. Due to some urgency i was not able to pick the call. But that doesnt show that he should left. He should give that order to my colleague mates how he can left from there. I also added tip for them. This is not fare. I tried email and they told me that its our new policy that we are not refunding any money. This is not fare. What happen if that order is cash on delivery. He would wait or left. This is not fare. If order is prepaid thats means customer will available if some urgency or non reponsive case he should give order to my office boy. But oesnt left from there. Please help me.

                                      They refunded my money. I have also mailed to them. After several mails and disccusions they are agreed. Hope they will work on this policies because this is very bad policy its a common sense if order is prepaid then user hopefully response. But if he or she is unresponsive thats means some urgency happened in that case he should give order to some close person as well or office colleague.

                                        Hey, it was amidnight tike and i am hungry enough sir i thought to use one of indias best app to order something i had seen for the chapatti and panner sabjii i hate it really it is not in good tastte
                                        By seeing sabji uhh may say chilli aause and panner are mixed up
                                        The chapatti was ok f medaa
                                        It is not zomato sealed alsoo
                                        The taste wass spicyy my stomach is paining
