I ordered food, paid the money in advance. Now, might be your delivery boy called me but i was on another i guess so didn't get any call in call waiting. So, i was completely unaware that there is somebody call me.

Now, after some time when i checked my food status on the app, it was showing the customer was not able at the address.

Now, this is impossible. I was there at my address. That one is my office address. I ordered multiple times at the same address and you guys delivered. But this time, your delivery boy didn't work hard to come to my office. Even though he was having the exact address, exact location but still he was not able to reach my office and put a comment saying the customer was not available.

Just think about it, i made an advance payment. If this would have been cash on delivery then your guys would have come to my place easily because he has to collect money.

Now, zomato team is not answering about?

1. Why the delivery guys didn't come to my office?
2. Why the order cancellation status is showing i was not available at the given address?
3. Where is my food if you canceled it? Because the food is not given back to the restaurant as i confirmed with him.

    I had cancelled my order in 2 mins after placing the order. Got this email that there is no refund. Why is it so?
    Please initiate my refund as soon as possible. Zomoto doesn't have option to cancel order immediately after placing. Got reply from zomato that food is as prepared. Don't lie. See the updates in order history that i had cancelled order within 2 mins after placing it. Same i had updated to them multiple times. No restaurant cannot make order in 2-3 mins after placing. If yes as per zomato reply then that is again a big issue as your partner restaurant is not giving fresh food. Ask multiple times to give me customer care number over email, but no response. Even they didn't call me just for sake to solve my complaint.

      I have order from zomato. After 45 minutes i got message that my order has been cancelled due to unresponsiveness. The delivery person didnt even entered the office. He just called me and left. Due to some urgency i was not able to pick the call. But that doesnt show that he should left. He should give that order to my colleague mates how he can left from there. I also added tip for them. This is not fare. I tried email and they told me that its our new policy that we are not refunding any money. This is not fare. What happen if that order is cash on delivery. He would wait or left. This is not fare. If order is prepaid thats means customer will available if some urgency or non reponsive case he should give order to my office boy. But oesnt left from there. Please help me.

      They refunded my money. I have also mailed to them. After several mails and disccusions they are agreed. Hope they will work on this policies because this is very bad policy its a common sense if order is prepaid then user hopefully response. But if he or she is unresponsive thats means some urgency happened in that case he should give order to some close person as well or office colleague.

      OK! They refunded my money. Now no issues from them. Hope they will work on their policies also.

        Hey, it was amidnight tike and i am hungry enough sir i thought to use one of indias best app to order something i had seen for the chapatti and panner sabjii i hate it really it is not in good tastte
        By seeing sabji uhh may say chilli aause and panner are mixed up
        The chapatti was ok f medaa
        It is not zomato sealed alsoo
        The taste wass spicyy my stomach is paining

          Order number [protected].. I had ordered a combo which contained cold drink as well however i didn't receive any... When i tried to get in touch with the chat support they informed as i had received many credit they can't help me.. Now my question is who gave me the credit and why?? Did i asked for it or they gave me to to compensate their mistake. Now when again i am contacting them for a issue created by them why aren't they willing to help.. I tried calling the restaurant but unfortunately it was closed hence could not contact them and the delivery guy didn't had any cold drink for my parcel.. Who is responsible for the situation is it me?? Why am i denied help?? I paid online thinking that i will have my food without tnsn now who will give back my money which was taken as a cold drink was included.. It simply means they do this to steal money from the customer and to cheat them.. The credits they gave it was all for genuine reason not that i asked for.. If this is the way then i have to go to twitter facebook and instagram so that my friends and family along with their friends and family are aware of the cheapness from zomato.

            सर zomoto का खाना ख़राब था तो हमने उनके कहे अनुसार फोटो भेजी जो उन्होंने verify कर लिया और 107 rs में से 26 rs उसी टाइम वापस किया और कहा की बांकी 24 से 48 घंटे में आजाएगे
            मैंने wait किया।
            लेकिन अब वो पैसा देने में बहाने कर रहे हैं
            बार बार नया बन्दा बात करता है और पूरा detail सुरु से पूंछता है time pass करता है बाद में कहता है 24 घंटे और wait karo

              Hi,
              This is roshni madhyan and i recently placed an order online from mobile app from zomato for which i paid it through my debit card; my order no. [protected] i was asked to pay rs. 149 after applying coupon code but the amount debited is rs. 249.
              This is unethical and we as a trusted consumer don’t expect this and thus leads to cheating in this sense.

              Kindly help with a proper solution.

                Ordered a shake from brown sugar cafe, new delhi on 2nd july'2019, which was prepaid through paytm. Order #[protected]. The order was picked up from the cafe but not delivered and the delivery agent's no. Provided was switched off (Confirmed by both, the cafe and the zomato chat team). On putting up the issue with zomato assurance was given to look into the matter and take action. Nobody contacted thereafter. On asking again assurance was given that whole amount will be refunded alongwith extra 50 zomato credits for their mistake. However, only 50 credits as a token were refunded and even after 5 repeated attempts on chat and 2 e-mails, the actual amount has still not been refunded. Everytime the same excuse is provided that it was initiated but not done due to some technical issue. Have all the chats as well. Did not expect such poor consumer service from zomato.

Is [protected] payment paid by paytm [protected] by this number the cake is smelly and expiry taste is so bad i complaint this on zomato chat they will said to give me photo i will send photo and they will not taking action they make me fool at since last night i told them my problem mamy times but they do nothing regright my problem

                    I had ordered (Id:[protected]) for an amount of 2351.26 on 13th jul, 2019 with the instructions of delivering the same on 15th july.
                    The order was accepted and i had received the confirmation of the order being placed. The next hour i got a call from zomato customer care to cancel the order as the order should be placed the same day.
                    With this message i had cancelled my order and got a confirmation message of "amount refund will be in 2-7 days". But till today i havent got any single rupee.

                    My question is if the order to be placed on the same day then why zomato accepts it or confirms it if the delivery date is prior to 24 hrs.

                    It looks like some dirty tricks are being placed on innocent customers or could say "good game of cheating" being played by zomato.

                    Kindly take the necassary action and do the need ful to get the refund.

                      What kind of guidelines zomato has in place.. Newly registered users who have never ordered from zomato, how can they write a review..

                        Zomato app chooses the wrong address for my food. When i called the zomato team to change the address as it was taken wrong by the app, they cancelled my order and told me my money will not be refunded. I neither got the food nor the refund money which costs me rs. 235. Later when i complain using the email to zomato team they told me it's not in their policy to refund my money. They are saying it's my mistake which is actually their mistake. They choose the wrong address for my food delivery.

                          I have ordered mcspicy burger from mcdonald's through zomato on 19/07. Initally i didn't noticed the taxes column.
                          After ordered i have checked the charges.
                          I was astonished that mcdonald charging 33.43 rs for packing!!!

                          When i have checked that zomato customer care, they didn't send the restaurant bill and just saying simply restaurant charging for it..

                          I have attached image the world class packing which requires rs 33.43.

                          I just want to know who is culprit (Zomato or mcdonald's)

                          I just can't accept the whatever # charges given by zomato.. And i want the packing charges to be returned.

                            I have made an order from biryani box restaurant near my area. After 40 mins i tried reaching out to the delivery boy but his phone was switched off. So complained same with zomato through chat support. They too tried to reach him and could not as his phone was switched off. Later after 30 mins zomato offered me for arrange of another meal. I said yes make it quick as it is already late. After that there was no reply from the chat support no meal nothing.

                              Ordered aroma's spl chicken biryani from aroma's hyderabad house (Order no. - [protected]) on zomato website.
                              When i received food it was only rice no chicken. Got in touch with restaurant, they said call to zomato customer care. When i called zomato, they didn't want to listen and said that they can't do anything.

                              Such a pathetic customer service they have. Zomato is a pathetic money snatcher company.

                                I ordered chicken dum biryani from go biryani and the chicken is stale! It’s clearly not fresh and smells rotten.. Complained to the restaurant and the guys are coming to see it for themselves
                                Zomato says there has been too much credit activity so we cannot look into the case! What the # is this! Should i go to the police for sending me rotten food?
                                I always tell zomato not to not send me credits!
                                In the last two days when i have ordered food the restaurant is either accepting the order and then cancelling it or some other issue?
                                Why should i pay for it?? Yesterday too the restaurant accepted my order and cancelled it because it was late and going to close! Is it my fault?
                                Otherwise the zomato carrier guy destroys the food or the restaurant doesn’t pack it well and the whole food is either received split or something!! Is it my fault? Why will i pay for it??
                                And when i’m trying to talk to zomato support
                                They tell me too much of credit activity! What the #???
                                I m trying to tell them to call me so that i can atleast explain the issue but zomato doesn’t respond!
                                I’m a zomato gold member! I don’t need ur #en credits! Okay?
                                Refund is when u don’t provide the quality and quantity of food that u promise!
                                What am i supposed to do when u don’t do ur work properly!
                                Should i eat the rotten food and die?
                                I am going to make this viral..!!!

                                  On 16th july 2019 i ordered some food items from choudhary sweet shop nangal distt rupnagar punjab as order is not confirmed by the shopkeeper... Nd the item is not cod i had already paid the amount of rupees 160... Nd the amount had been deducted from account but it been 3 days still the amount is not refunded in my account why... Plz tell when it will be done???

                                    I’m a regular user of zomato’s services and this recent issue i have faced is just not only disappointing but also extremely unprofessional as well.

                                    This was an emergency order for someone and the app automatically detected my current location despite me putting the right address for chhattarpur where i wanted to get it delivered. I asked the delivery boy if he could ask if the address can be changed since zomato doesn’t have a customer care number. He said that it won’t be possible so i asked him to give me my order and that i would arrange a delivery myself. First he refused and we argued because i did not undeywhy he was refusing to give me my pre paid order. Turns out the delivery boy had canceled my order without my permission while on the call! I was stamding right there accepting my order and he cancelled it and now zomato refuses to give me my refund!

                                    Not only is this unfair but how unprofessional is this?! The order was more important as it was for someone sick so i had to reorder it anyway but this is honestly so shocking! From a huge company like zomato, this kind of customer service is just disappointing.

                                      I placed an order which was mid-way to my house, but it was suddenly cancelled. I did not do so, but i got a mail saying that i had cancelled it and no refund is possible. I am unable to contact zomato on any of their listed numbers or on zomato chat, nor their email. The cancellation is outrageous and the email they have sent says that i will not be offered a refund. Please help me resolve this.

                                        I ordered food from near by restaurant just 10 mins from my place. I was tracking delivery guy continuesly. Still he cancellled my order. When I inquired he is saying my phone was not reachable so he cancelled.

                                        If address is already provided on the app with Google Map, I don't understand why they need to call again. He could have just delivered food on the address. He just wanted to take the food and that's why he cancelled.
                                        More pathetic than this is the customer care service. They are not even to ready to listen what I am saying. I was promised for a callback but never received any. Customer care reps are only talking abt terms and conditions. There was no investigation done so far. And no refund was initiated so far.
                                        How can you trust such a service where they don't want to even listen to their customers. Creating terms and conditions for their convieniec Most pathetic customer service i have seen ever.
