Delivery boy has not call and my order is cancelled. The customer care excutive is giving reasons that I was unresponsive. I am from Pune. What is this? What happened if I haven't make payments n have selected cash on delivery options? This is completely cheating. I want my refund any way. Please take the necessary action against that delivery boy? I will never recommend anyone Zomato, and share my this bad experience with all.

    Hi,

    I had ordered mutton biryani from restraurant but i received chicken biryani. I tried to solve my issue with the customer support they are saying just a sorry this is will not happen again and when i said for a replacement for an order they are replying in this form "we have reviewed your account and regret to inform you that it reflects a high amount of credit activity based on your disputed order in the past hence we will not be able to make any adjustments in this case"

    Did this sentence make sense itz not my fault that my credit activity is based this is the zomato fault that why yourl people are carried business with the foolish people who doesn't know which food or item to deliver that the zomato look out.

    Even after complaining many times still they are doing the same problem and delevering the different items and kinldy take a severe against the customer supoort they dont know to solve the problem itz a worst support and also the main there is no call support.

    I faced the same issue.

    The delivery agent damaged the package in rain, and Zomato blocked the channels of communication claiming I have high credit activity on the account.

    This is outrageous, the credit activity is a sign of how often Zomato messes up. Denying help to customers for credit activity on account is not only crude injustice but also harrassment.

    Strict actions should be taken against Zomato for this practice

      Hi everyone, this is my personal experience with zomato for all time, the rider doesn't calls u hvae to call him and keep a track all the time and each one o[censored] might be aware of the video of th delivery. Boy eating food, i ordered this time i paid it online the rider didn't called. Cancelled the order by his own and now these zomato people are denying to refund me the amount as if i cancelled the order after that when i asked them to share the call logs that i was called and my number was not reachable they again denied since they knew it was they who are at fault here is the order id - [protected]

      Hi, I had placed an order. The guy refuse to come to my location even though complete address is there and then i cancelled my order. I had put a complaint for that but no reply has been recieved. Please refund my money.

        We ordered the food from Zomato, But there was missing one item so we immediately complained and sent the photo of the whole order, Then Zomato executive said that we will refund you the missing item value within 24 to 72 hours, When we did not get refund, then we again complained to him, we were told again the same thing that we will refund you within 24 to 27 hours. In this way we complained many times and we were always told the same but we have not been refunded till date and when we complained it to the Consumer Forum, So they have made my Account has been permanently blocked

          Yesterday i had ordered a meal worth rs.596 from ifc via zomato. After the delivery person was near my location i called him to mention again my location as he was on the opposite road. After a while i saw his position hadn't changed and when i called his phone was busy. He wasn't at my location. I called numerous times only to hear the busy tone and after that i saw my order was canceled.
          I called the restaurant they couldn't help and when i the delivery person picked up he said that zomato had canceled my order.
          Immediately i had emailed regarding the issue and chatted with the support. Next day i receive an email saying that my refund was denied according to their new policy which cancels order when customer is unresponsive.

          I was sitting with my phone in hand, waiting for the person to call and at the same location where i had ordered a week or two before. There was no error on my part and he simply canceled the order and i am now not even getting the refund. This is outrageous and unacceptable. I have attached the proof that i had called the delivery person numerous times.

            This is regarding my order number: [protected]

            I placed an order on june 21 at 9:16 pm for rs. 128, then 2 mins later this order was cancelled and no yet accepted by the restaurant, i cancelled it and placed anther order from other nirulas at 9:18. I was’nt notified of any cancellation fees being charges at the time of placing order. Few days later when i try placing another order these cancellation charges are automatically applied to the new order and are unreasonably being forced. This is’nt a matter of rs. 128 but a way o[censored]nreasonably harassing the customer. For further details pls reach out to me at reema. [protected]@gmail.com

            On contacting the support team, they are just talking about the updated policy of zomato and don’t give any concrete solution or evidence of the chat that says i was informed about the cancellation charges.

            I have placed order on zomato for RS 470 and amount is deducted but order is not placed. The customer care numbers given are useless, not getting connected. I have deleted the app and will ask everyone to delete this [censored]. No customer care at all, just money making or looting

              My zomato account is blocked for ordering food. I had recently purchased gold membership and ever since then the customer care is also not reponding.

              They say it is suspicious activity, I don't know what I have done.

              I have written numerous mails to zomato but they just reply saying it can't be unblocked. This is unfair, after I have purchased membership, they won't refund also and I can't order food too.

              As I ordered 2plates briyani in Mahal restaurant @8.30 pm in Chennai I termed as pay cash in online gpay the amount will be taken but order will not received to the restaurant I want my money which will I pay in gpay RS.185/- ...u should refund that amount for me.
              Still no response from Zomato. If I write 10 mails, they will reply to one saying it cant be unblocked thats all.

              Fed up with the response and customer care. Not even able to reach them.
              No Response at all.

              I have no way to call them also.

                I would like to raise this complain against my order number [protected].
                So basically the food never got delivered to me. This order was a pre paid order. The guy who was carrying my order called me a couple of times but i couldn't take his call as i was in the washroom but as soon as i got out i called him back and he said that my order has been cancelled. And i was like ok if it has been cancelled. Then again i got calls from the same guy he said that as the order has been cancelled i will get 4-5 calls and i am supposed to ignore them. I was like ok. Then when i checked my order status it showed that my order has been delivered. So i sent and complaint the very moment on chat. But there was no reply from your side as i waited. And later when i got reply the person from the chat insisted to talk to the delivery guy on conference call. Which i did.. And there at first he denied that he never said anything about my order being cancelled. Then when i said i have the call recorded he admitted that he said the order is about to be cancelled.
                And the person trying to help solve this issue on the chat. Says i am supposed to write it all down and mail it as he cannot find a solution. So if he could not find any solution why on the first place he was asking me to take up a conference call and investigating. I am so much disappointed with zomato. Such a bad experience this one. First i get no food for the money i paid. Then i get harrassed this way.
                Really very disappointed with zomato.

                  I ordered from zomato; order number: [protected]. I was not able to pick up the call from the zomato valet the very instant he called me for the order, but i did get back within 5 minutes of his call. The call made by the valet was at 1:09 pm, and my order was cancelled at 1:10 pm. When i got back to the valet, he didn't pick up the call. Then i reached to the restaurant and the owner claimed that the valet has run away with the food and he himself cannot contact him. The zomato team has now put cancellation fees. After sending numerous emails to them, they keep sending the same automated replies.

                    Hi,
                    I have ordered food from deepanshu restaurant indirapurum at 10:28 pm on 4th july, 2019 with order id [protected]. Zomato valet anil called me once only at 10:54 pm & i missed receiving his call bcz my phone was on silent bcz my 6 months old baby was sleeping, but i called him back within 5 mins & in that 5 mins i got to know that he has cancelled my order & refused to deliver my order bcz he has to complete his other orders delivery before 12am this is the reason given by him to me & he lied to me that he called me 7 times but he did not. Now my point here is if someone missed picking valet’s call that too for 5 mins only that means valet is having right to reject the order just bcz he is getting late for other orders to get it deliver. There must be some timeline to wait for the customer to pick the call or valet to move from the customer location moreover location & proper address is already mentioned online than if customer is not answering the call than valet has to reach directly to the customer’s location, otherwise what is the purpose of sharing location or address if customer has to answer the call everytime, although valet told me that he is rejecting my order & i will get my refund back.
                    So request you to please look into this issue & refund my money back as rs 365 is not a small amount to ignore just bcz of valet’s fault.

                    Also i need to file complaint against valet anil who put me into a trouble at night just bcz he was getting late. He can directly come to my place & rang the door bell bcz he was having my address but he is not a reliable resource if he is doing these type of things.
                    Why customers have to loose their money bcz of the valet’s fault bcz valet is getting late for other orders he didn’t came to the location & lied afterwards saying that he called so many times.

                    Kindly look into my issue & refund my money asap & please don’t ignore these type of customer’s concerns.

                      On 10th of july i ordered two items from zomato, chilly chicken dry and chicken gravy noodles, but instead got only one item from them, which was the chicken gravy noodles, i contacted them and they said that the money of sum 155 will be refunded but till now no money was refunded to me in my zomato credits, i also mailed them but to no avail, they only said that your mail was recorded...

                        I had ordered from zomato on 16th june. The restaurant called up to say that they would not be able to deliver the order. But i had made the payment online already. I have been emailing zomato since then about the refund issue. But they've not been addressing the issue and claiming that the order had already delivered. I have also confirmed with the restaurant that order wasn't delivered.

                          Today date :11 july 2019 i ordered food with Zomato order number : [protected], after zomato taken the advance payment cancelled the order without delivery and given reason that could not delivered as customer not reachable, regarding this reason i called rider manjunath ([protected]), Zamato customer care ([protected]) 2 times and customer care chat support, restaurant +91-[protected] but no support from their end to deliver the order . i asked to provide the refund if order cannot be delivered but they denied . i will say this to zomato to stop this kind of scam and deliver the order to their customer or provide them the refund for their order . zomato cannot go ahead by this kind of scam trick . previous i ordered couple of order on same address but i will say i will not use this zomato app in future .

                            Randomly i open my account and i see its blocked. Seeing the reason marked as suspicious activity. And then when i call the service centre they tell me to write an apology letter for the same. Omg, never heard such a thing. What on earth is happening... What the reason for this customer abuse. It's a case of harrassment and fraudery. We associate as customers to these applications, not to be harrassed, what do you mean by suspicious account activity, incase a customer has an issue with an order, is that fraudery,,, and you accuse customers for that... You pathetic service providers..
                            I will make sure this is raised in right platforms and also zomato gives me an written apology for that for all this embarrassment.
                            Exct-riya - didnt take even my complt.

                              Online food app like zomato cheat people like anything first of all they dont accept COD on 800rs and above and after you order their deivery guy doesnt call you at all and simply he goes back and when contacted via chat the zomato people tells that their delivery guy has found the person to whom product should be delivered is un available or not reachable and this bloody zomato people have very nice trick they charge your full paid amount of food as penalty and do not return you even a penny and they donot have call center number like others such as swiggy and uber eats this bloody people cheat you and apart from this they deliver items with full complete bill but products will be missing if contacted via chat this people cheat once again by telling that they wil credit the points...i kindly request anyone whoz reading this plz dont ever order from zomato nevr or you wil be cheated...

                                I placed a order on zomato. Even after 2 hours they did not deliver my order and even their customer support did not take any interest to resolve this.. Let alone resolve they did not even repiled me of my messages.
                                It was showing on my screen that the food is being prepared but when i called the restaurant they told me that the delivery boy was left for delivery.

                                  This is with regards to order number [protected] that I had placed with Pathan Sir through Zomato of 80 potato rolls. The order was placed around 12:30 PM and the restaurant told me that the order will be delivered by 3:30 PM even though our request was to get it delivered by 3:00 PM. Around 3:15 PM, zomato and the restaurant confirmed that the order has been dispatched but the order did not reach us till 5:30 PM. Meanwhile numerous calls were made to the zomato vallet person but he did not care to pick up the call so at the end i decided to cancel the order. My entire event was spoilt on account of mismanagement by Zomato. Even though the damage was irrepairable, i was told that Rs 1000 will be credited to my wallet for the disgusting experience with Zomato but they have not credited

                                  Also my refund status of Rs 5, 095 is not initiated.
                                  Atleast i can expect a quick resolution if not food delivery but no response.

                                  This has been my worst experience with Zomato. Contacting your customer care has been an awful and painful experience. Plus getting standard replies from your customer care is more annoying. I am chasing them from past 1 week but no response.

                                  Looking forward for a swift resolution.

                                    I had ordered a veg dumpling soup from zomato 2 days ago from the restaurant the Momo factory. It turned out to be non veg. Same way today I ordered a veg paneer melt wrap from zomato from the restaurant faasos. And again it had meat inside. I had decided not to take serious action the first time but this is a highly unprofessional and unforgivable mistake which is being repeated again and again. I am pure vegetarian but because of the irresponsible and careless attitude of the service providers I am extremely disturbed mentally and psychologically. It is because of despicable acts like these which do not respect the culture and beleives of the people that I don't think I will be able to use services of online food delivery portals. Kindly look into the matter and take serious action.

                                      My order [protected] on 28 june which was of biryani was broken n it was raining so cover was wet and all rice broken in cover was broken was soaked in that wet rain water which was spilled due to broken cover... I was not even given sharwa n only broken parcel soaked in rain water was sent and my order [protected] on 26 june i ordered tandoori chicken biryani. But i neither got chicken in it and i found plastic covers in biryani parcel. I said same in your chat with pics but i git response after 45 minutes to take pics again where i already sent that. U can see that pics where i was not chicken tandoori biryani n plastic cover in my parcel in zomato chat. I request for proper compensation for wrong order given to me.
                                      While i waited for 2 weeks they simply gave an apology for both orders, but i want proper compensation. Also the price in zomato for this particular restaurant was almost 100 rs more for each item than offline menu. I want compensation for these both for which i didn't get properly even after waiting for 2 weeks
