I am regular user of zomato. My orders gets delivered to my home address regularly. On 9 july at 12.15. I placed the order with empire restaurant sheshadripuram bangalore. The delivery person called and said that the address is wrong and then they cancelled the order. I told him over the phone that the address is correct and the orders gets delivered regularly. He was very rude and said that he cannot deliver the order. Later i got the message that he tried to deliver but the address was wrong. I will not get the refund for it. The location on zomato showed that he even did not move from the restaurant. The order which i placed next from different restaurant got delivered. Order number with issue :[protected]. I want action taken for the rude behavior and cheating

    Full description of the incident:
    I ordered a fire-me-up non veg pizza from mojo pizza via zomato.
    They delivered a tex-mex (Veg) pizza.
    When i got in touch with support and asked for a refund, they refused to give a refund and instead said they can give me zomato credits which i can use only in zomato.

    This isn't the first time i've had an experience with zomato, and i don't wanna lock up 800 odd bucks in this # app. I'd rather use them in swiggy or some other app.

    Not only did they refuse to refund the money, but the support agent even refused to email me the transcript of the chat where he refused me.

    Desired resolution: get my money back in the mode it was paid (Bank account) and not zomato credits

      Hello
      I have received wrong order. I ordered chicken wrap combo but they delivered me veg combo without fries and cold drink
      When i reached you and also shared photo with you but your agent so much dumb that there is no limit
      They keep on repeating the same words. Is this is the way to treat your customers
      Is this is zomato policy to serve customers to waste their money and time
      I wasred my money on vegcombo.
      Are you guys making customers fool. I strictly want my refund regarding the order otherwise i will have to take this order to consumer court or higher court
      If you talk to the restaurant then please make me on conference call
      And don't try teach me about feedback

        The delivery person denied to deliver at my address. However the same order from the same restaurant was earlier delivered twice at the same address.
        I even went to take order in my car to the location mentioned by the delivery boy. I was waiting and I received a message of order cancelled. the person was talking rudely too.
        The company should take action regarding the same.

          For order number [protected]. The delivery boy did not come for delivery, and zomato is denying refund for the same. I dont understand are we still in the age where we sould not trust zomato and should'nt do online payment and rely only on cod orders.
          I am really disappointed.
          Zomato seriosly needs to review its policies or the extortion like this wont go on for a long time.

          why there's no update
          I placed an order cancelled in 1-2 minutes. The entire amount as taken as cancellation charge, the email response I get is order was prepared and dispatched such a miscommunication and it’s a ethical issue by Zomato I would like to lodge a complaints the same. This is my order that I cancelled due to wrong payment selected I’m very upset.
          I have ordered from zomato on 5 july 2019 and i paid using google pay but the amount Rs 434.5 deducted from my account and order was not placed. Plz refund the amount.

          I placed order from zomato and the delivery guy called me once and no one spoke when I picked up and later they cancelled my order saying I wasn't receiving the call and blaming it on me

          The food ordered from Zomato dated[protected] was not delivered, but in app it was marked as delivered. The payment was made online in Advance.
          Customer care is not picking call. When called delivery person, he said he has already delivered.

              Let me first add my order against which i am complaining here.

              Dosa that i got from here contains rotten and smelling stuffings of potatoes and also sambar is full of oil means lot's of oil was there.
              Utpam is half burned and hal[censored]ncooked and quality of food is very bad.
              Food is resting in dustbin highly unsatisfied.

              I have placed an order through Zomato. Because of some reasons I had to cancel the order. Before cancelling they didn't indicate that I will be charged penalty. Then they charge the full amount as a penalty.

                  I had received wrong order and i complaint you then after a long debate your agent provided me the refund and also added 28 credits
                  But its been 2 days i didn't get my refund then I contacted your agent but he refused that any refund is initiated
                  I captured screenshot also and i am sending it to you
                  If i didn't get my refund i will take this screenshot to police station and consumer court
                  Your agent replied to me when i wrote email and her name is bhawanayou guys are making me fool
                  She is telling me that she will not give me refund
                  Then why you guys promised me
                  She said its miscommunication
                  Its not my fault its your fault
                  I strictly want my refund regarding the order otherwise I will take very strong action and will move to court

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I had ordered food from Chinese Hut, Ground Floor, Shivam Chamber, Opp Sani Mandir, Sector 41, Noida through Zomato yesterday for Rs.1483.50 and the Order ID was [protected] (copy attached at Exhibit 1). The order was confirmed by Restaurant Owner Mr. Vicki (mobile No. [protected]). Advised him not to make food spicy which he confirmed to do so.
                    Got a call from Mr. Dharmendra Kumar, Restaurant Manager that the food is on the way (Exhibit 2).
                    The food delivered at 9:55 pm by rider Deepak, mobile no. [protected] (exhibit 3) was momos only. This was immediately conveyed to owner Mr. Vicki (called him continuously 9 times from 2214 hours till 2306 hours for resolving the issue). Mr. Vicki said this was a mistake on the part of the delivery boy and was advised to lodge a complaint on my feedback (which I did).
                    Mr. Dharmendra Kumar, The Restaurant Manager also called saying that the original food ordered is being sent by another Zomato delivery boy.
                    At 1115 hours (exhibit 3) Mr. Deepak Kumar the Rider for Zomato delivered the food which was what we had not ordered. The food delivered was One Plate Chicken Noodles, One Plate Chilli Chicken and Chicken Sweet Corn Soup (exhibit 4) which was short supply than what I had ordered.
                    I tried calling Mr. Vicki on his mobile at 2321 hours and 2330 hours. There was no response from his mobile.
                    Called Zomato Bengaluru on [protected] at 0955 hours and Zomato Delhi[protected] at 2256 and 2257 hours no response.
                    Would appreciate if the above complaint is taken at appropriate level so that Zomato cannot absolve itself from its responsibility that food has been delivered and Chinese Hit Restaurant is penalised intentionally for their fraudulent services.

                        It is forty minutes past midnight on a sunday; with an overwhelming realisation of having to travel to my workplace in pune from mumbai tomorrow morning, i am typing an email to your 'impeccable' 'service' company about an undelivered and prepaid order i placed four hours ago.

                        After all, i have had gone through trying to resolve an issue concerning a supposed (Better food for more people) integral aspect of your business, the very thought of labelling your business model as 'customer-centric' seems to me like a piercing satiric.

                        I am mentally incapable of explaining the issue again, i am sincerely hoping that you would be able to track the problem with the help of the order number and/or the screenshot of the 'state of the art' customer service setup i dealt with where the representative repetitively slammed dismissive templates to shoo off the 'oh so important' customer.

                        This email is not a final call for help; i am motivated enough to escalate this recurring issue to all possible channels, forums and hierarchies until the issue is acknowledged and consequently resolved.

                          Zomato custmer care has sent me the message stating that for order no# [protected] a refund of my money has been initiated & i will receive my money in 2-7 days.
                          Its been more than a week but i have still not received any refund. Neither there customer care helpline is working since that time.

                          This is 1st time i have face this kind of issue and i have never face this kind of issue with any other food delivery partner. From 1 week onwards i am chating with zomato agents but no one is giving solution to it.
                          So, i request my money to be refunded into my bank account as soon as possible.

                            On 20th june i ordered from empire resturant through zomato. Order no [protected]. The delivery boy couldn't come to my location so he asked me to cancel the order. I thought so they will give refund so i waited for soe days but it didnt help. Even i contacted zomato but they are not helping me regarding this worst service provided by zomato. Why should i pay when the delivery boy couldn't come to my location. Worst service bad😠😠. Plz i request others to uninstall.

                                i ordered chicken dum biryani from zeeshan restaurent and they gave me a damaged order which the red oil is spilled all over the food and the smell of the food was very st'inking and stale and when i asked zomato chat support they delayed my problem and maid me wait for a long time and told to mail but when i mailed there's no resolution and they're sitmply asking excuses and asking to give another time chance but im really hurt because of this food .

                                i want my money which i wasted on this damaged order as a refund.

                                  I ordered 7 (Seven) crispy veg supreme burger and 1 (One) crispy veg burger and 1 (One) bucket of chicken wings 15 pcs. Out of this i received only 5 (Five) burger and 1 (One) chicken bucket. Rest all 3 (Three) burger not delivered by delivery boy named sahil. When i tried to contact him he said that its not my mistake its only merchant mistake and he said that now i am not going to deliver the order bcz it was not my fault.                                     I made an order on 7.7.19 to Mocha Guwahati and item was tandoori chicken sizzler which I received inadequate manner and the quantity was less, rice was smelly felt as if it was from previous night, chicken was burnt which made the while taste bitter and salty. Perhaps to compensate they added salt. It was pathetic and I have thrown it after tasting it. Zomato executive wasn't supportive in terms resolving my issues. Took more time than usual. Couldn't even connect to the restaurant. Whatever be the case I asked them to refund the money as the dish was expensive ie.456 INR. Earlier I ordered too the same item but such an incident didn't happe. Since I didn't get a response from the Zomato so thought to write here and get my money refunded or. 456.

                                      I ordered the food and waiting for it for more than 1hr.
                                      Then I try to contact the delivery person, he said he tried to reach me on phone and he cant so he canceled my order. (He lied completely)

                                      But I'm very sure, for this order, I'm not in call with any person and my network is good too.

                                      They took my amount (by this fraud company) with fake reasons.

                                        I got a reply yesterday after complaining it to them stating tht they cant unblock my account and this should be known to me. Anyway, just giving a review suitable for the food delivery and telling about it's bad quality results into blocking of account? I re recently got my gold membership done and what about it? I recently bought it and I haven't used it even once. Do something tell them to either transfer my gold membership to [protected]@gmail.com [protected] this account and kindly allow me to access the gold membership and I wont order in future.

                                        Hoping for your kind cooperation. Please ask them to do it fast.

                                        They mailed me stating it can't be unblocked but what about my gold membership which I bought recently and haven't used it yet. Show me another way so that I can use my gold facilities and avail it. Please do something I dont wanna order in future but what about my gold?
