As per the mail revert you have written that "With regards to your concern, please be informed that Zomato doesn't support cancellation of the orders post confirmation by the restaurant". I cannot accept your logic at all of Zomato Not supporting the cancellation of the orders. As much as restaurant is your customer, the consumer also is who is using your application. If your cancellation charges were minimal, it would still be justifiable. But a cancellation charge equivalent to the order value is insane. And the time lag in my case as I have told you is not more than 2 min.

Ideally the order would not have even reached the kitchen. Must say, its disappointing to here as reply like this.

    I have booked a order([protected]) at zomato on 24/06/2019 and the food was undelivered due to my mobile fall down in water and after it was not reachable as usually.
    I have already spoke with consumer forum and my case id is 1403511 and the zomato person, zomato person told me yesterday 26/06/2019 they will not pay any refund on behalf the order.
    My phone was suddenly fall in water and then I quickly set up the sim on my another phone. In the time the delivery boy call me and my phone was not reachable and when he just reject my food he was just 300 mtr distance but he told me if I have to pay 50% of the billing amount then he will delivery the same, otherwise the amount will be forfeited.
    i am not understand sir what should do for refund my money back.
    please help.

      I ordered from zomato kabuliwala ghaziaabd i applied promocode showing upto 40 % off i was paying through paytm bill was 116 as offer was applied i was asked to add money i added money when i paid finally they deducted 180 instead of 116 when i tried to cancel the order it was not there when i had chat with him they said cancelling order will cost you 180 rs as order is being prepared. When i asked the money difference they said its not possible.

      While placing order in app I have mentioned to bring loose change of 2000 and do not ring the door bell. But both delivery man and Kartik customer care man argues and respond in unprofessional way.

        Dear zomato,
        This very unprofessional, i placed an order (Order no [protected]) on 22nd june ‘19 around 9:18 and i cancelled my order within 5 min even before restaurant has accepted my oder and no executive was assigned to my oder, now zomato are charging me whole order amount as penalty. So you penalising me for cancelling the order i never get.
        Hopefully you will solve my problem.

          I have ordered an order from shree neelam dhaba on 9 june and the amount is 284 rs and i give the delivery boy 500 rs and he don't pay be back and said to pay it by paytm. But he don't pay it. Later i call zomato chat support about the same but they pay me 108.80 credit back after 15 days and when i ask for another 108 then they are telling me each day that it's a technical mistake u must wait 24 hours and now after 15 days they are telling me that they can pay only 108 credit according to their policy. Can i ask them why i have got only 108 only is this money i beg from others. I must get it when i work i have right that they will pay it 216 fully. Go to hell with their policy. If they don't pay it back i will show them the same.

            I have ordered food from zomato that was not good i have same issue with 2 orders they say to give zomato credit but it's been 3 days no response while chatting to them they saying wait 48more hours i have waited but no response from then. They fraud my credits worth 183 no credited still and no satisfaction with the food which bad quality. Help me give me my credits and they are also blocking customers who are complaining about them.

              I ordered 1 paneer tikka masala and 2 butter roti from moti mahal delux madhuvan hotel.
              I received this order and paid the delivery boy 399 and 10rs tip.
              But in the app it was still showing on the way.
              Then i got a call from the delivery boy and he said that he is coming to the door step.
              I said i already have the order. He said no i have your order.
              He said than should i cancel it. I agreed.
              Then i got a call from your call center regarding the cancellation.
              The agent was very rude and was not ready to listen to the fact that i have received the order.
              And now i have a cancellation fees added to my account.
              This is not done. Being a regular costumer of zomato such a service is not done.
              I want to get the cancellation fees removed.

                I had made orders on the same day through zomato,
                Id are [protected] and [protected].
                First one was from dominos, i gave the instructions to not put any mushroom in it as i am severely allergic to it, i called dominos directly also but yet i received a pizza filled with mushroom.
                The later one is from sweet truth, the ice cream tub is expired and tastes sour.

                When i contacted zomato support for the help, they said we will give a feedback.
                I was charged around 550 rs total for orders that i couldn't even consume and yet there was no support from customer service.

                I want my full refund as i couldn't even eat any of it.

                  I place an order with dominoes and paid online. The order number is:[protected]
                  Money was deducted from my account but it still shows that the transaction could be processed. I called the restaurant multiple time but they did not pick up the call, finally when they did they told me to resolve the issue with zomato. I messaged zomato support and nothing has been done by the customer support to resolve this issue. This is truly upsetting and unnaceptable, stealing the customers hard earned money.

                    Hi, I am Ansari sharif Mobile no. [protected].
                    I have placed an today from Zomato app. I received a call from Zomato saying the item I ordered was not available and they gave me option of other items, I said ok and choosed chocolate Noggat cake which was cheaper then the one I ordered, and call representative calculated the new bill amount and mentioned to me the new bill amount which was ₹475. Then the delivery boy came and asked for the old bill amount which was ₹571. Then the harrassment began and I was having my dinner, the call representative his name is Deepak has misbehaved with me and not ready acknowledge the error on their part. So please I am very disturbed by this happening. I am just hoping to get a favorable and corrective measures from your side.

                        Hello, To whomsoever it may concern,

                        Request you to look into this issue as the Zomato account is locked for no reason and there's nothing the customer care team can do about it. Additionally, find the root cause and let know the reason to get the account Banned.
                        This was outrageous when I ordered food & I almost receive the quarterly of it. I order 20 rotis & recieved only 5. Ordered a full plate of a gravy dish & a mixed veg. Recieved quarter of it too. I know this is going to get resolved with no serious after effects whatsoever but I'm going to write my grief everywhere. This was a prepaid order.

                          Hi,
                          I ordered subway on zomato but due to it was taking too long more than 40 mins so i had to cancel my order within 2 mins after placing order but zomato deducted entire bill amount as penalty and did not refund anything. This is highly offensive and cheating with consumer. I would requesg to take strong action against such issues.

                            I ordered from Zomato on 22nd June, 2019, but for some issues they rejected my order ... But I couldn't get any refunded amount till date.. I am unable to do chat with Zomato because chat is not visible... So it is the big problem...
                            Please help me by which I will get my money as soon as possible...

                              We placed our order at 5 o’clock in the afternoon and we have recieved a feedback almost three hours that the order is not placed because you guys cannot reach my number cannot be delivered. This is unacceptable and a very bad service from you guys to think that zomato is one of the biggest names when in comes to this.                                     Hi,

                                    I had ordered food using Zomato app from the restaurant Sawee, Baner Pashan Link Road, Next To Hotel Karolbaug, Baner, Pune 411045 on 24th June 2019.

                                    Case 1: Order no [protected] : This order was rejected because your delivery boy tried our phone once or twice and returned. We have clearly give the address and location is seen on the map. He could have come in and delivered the parcel. But he just went back. Also, Zomato has charged the entire amount for this. They say this the policy and it will not be refunded.

                                    Case 2: Immediately, when the first order was cancelled, I re-ordered the same items again from the same resturant. Order no[protected]. This order was delivered in one hour's time. But the food was pathetic. They served smelly and stale food.

                                    Order no [protected] and [protected] : this is the same order. So the restuarant served the same food which was ordered previously. In that case, why should charge me twice. And also, it is the fault of their delivery boy who did not deliver the food.

                                    The policies of Zomato are really pathetic and my overall experience has been horrible. I am deeply deeply disappointed and vow to never use your app again.

                                        Please note i a regular zomato customer since long ago. On 14th june at around 8 pm that is todày i ordered one kohinoor chicken biryani from petoo, vivek khand, gomti nagar, lucknow, order number [protected]
                                        I am a foodi and regular order biryanies from different places. On your zomato app under petoo, vivek khand, gomti nagar, nowhere was written or clarified that they serve boneless biryani, on the contrary it asked for half or full and suggests 4 pieces will be offered when ordered full, now when it is delivered to myself and when i contacted to petoo, they clarify that they only serve boneless biryani and that can be checked on food photograph present on their app.
                                        I have not gone through such cheating before and humiliated.
                                        Kindly check and i expect my full refund as this is restaurent 's fault.
