On 1st july at 10.45 pm i ordered from zomato. I paid 735 rupees for a full plate of the dish and i only got a half plate worth 400 rupees. I asked for a refund but no action has been taken from their side. I'm continuously sending them mail for 2 days, but they stop responding and are ignoring this completely. They said this is not their mistake and can't do anything about it. I need the right thing to be done.

    Delivery boy has come and was waiting for me to pick up the order in between only zomato has cancelled my order and when i asked for refund they are giving me an explanation about food wastage but what about my money..?

    Such a pathetic service of zomato this is not expected from zomato

    Never ever order online food from zomato they are snatching money of public.

      But the delivery boy had not delivered the food and the order summary is showing as successful. May i know the reason why the delivery boy had not picked up the call and how come without delivering item the order summary is showing as delivered?

        This is regarding order no [protected], i participated in the "cricket" prediction offer. Before prediction, i rate the food, then after some time. I tried to predict the match but link of the same disappeared and unable to predict the game.

        I raised the question to the concern person of tomato thru chatting link, but person sitting there is unable to help me to provide the link again or give me cash back as the error occurs at zomato end.

        There is no mentioned in terms and conditions that. If rate the food then the game prediction link will disappear.

        I request you to kindly compensate me as i am unable to predict / participate in the game due to technical issues of tomato.

        I have received a reply on 04.07.19 from Zomato on my E-mail ID as below:

        With reference to your concern for order [protected], we apologize for this inconvenience. But if you already rate the order then the link is closed. Moreover, you can refer to point number 11 under "Terms and Conditions" section.

        I am attaching the terms and conditions of Zomato, and highlighted the "clause XI", as refer by you, please let me know :where is written that if customer RATE the order/food then the contest participation link will be disabled".

        in terms ZOMATO mentioned that "ZOMATO has the right to use our "RATINGS" without compensation and some other general terms.

        Actually your technical team clubbed two different things in a single link:

        1st is rating of the order/food and 2nd is contest participation.

        I rated the order/food and submitted my thoughts about the particular order and not participated in the contest till then.

        Actually my participation in that contest is still pending due to technical error from Zomato side, and the same was accepted the person to whom I was chat first in this regard (screen shot enclosed for your reference).

        I know only one thing that the, I was not participated in the offer due the technical error of the Zomato so Zomato is liable to compensate for this.

        if you can compensate, then please do the needful, else escalate the matter to the senior officials of the Zomato or provide me the contact detail, Email ID etc of the senior officials of the ZOMATO so that I can escalate the matter from my side.

        now I only demands:
        1. compensation or
        2. written apology letter from ZOMATO in this regards

        I hope the ZOMATO customer service will help me by either way.

        have you read terms and conditions of ZOMATO and the CHATTING screen shot shared by me ??

          I ordered 1 black forest cake and 4 pyaaz kachori from maosaji restaurant, bilaspur using zomato. Due to network issue, my phone couldn't be connected by the delivery guy and order got cancelled automatically. I tried calling the restaurant back to deliver the food and i was even ready to pay extra delivery fee required but they denied saying the order is cancelled and we have got back the order. If you want it just order again and pay the amount. Try contacting zomato. I raised the complaint with zomato but nothing has yet been done from thier side. My money was already deducted from bank and they haven't refunded it back yet. Order number : [protected]

            Yesterday i ordered sweets from new agrawal sweets, sapna sangeeta indore.
            As soon as i filled the credentials my money got deducted but order was not placed.. My order number is.. Order number: [protected] and showing incomplete payment... Its been one day i have not received my money back...

            I want my deducted amount to be refunded as soon as possible...
            Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
            My order no.[protected] with zomato not received and amount is not credited till date. I had also complaint on zomato chatting but no satisfactory answers received. Please do the needful.
            My amount 343 Rs deducted twice from Pay TM account, without delivering the food. They overcharged without consent.
            They did not refund. This happens with many customers. Zomato is a fraud.

              I ordered a meal from pizza chezza at 1:41 am and i got another msg at 1:54 am saying the order was on it’s way. At 2:08 am i got a msg from zomato saying the order was cancelled as their was no delivery boy available.
              I connected with the zomato chat and told them my concerns on which the customer care guy told me that my area was marked unsafe due to which my order was not delivered.
              I asked the guy if i order again from some other restaurant will i get my order get delivered or not, to which he said that my order would get delivered.
              So i ordered again from cafe popeye and olive at 2:35 am, which was prepared and i got a msg at 2:45 am saying the order was on it’s way. Just to reconfirm i tried calling the zomato delivery guy, but he didn’t pick my call. I retried a few times but he didn’t pick the call. I got a call at 2:50 am from the guy saying that the area was unsafe and he would not deliver to that area..
              To this i reconnected to the zomato customer care and told them my situation to which they said they cannot get the food delivered and as a compensation gave 60 zomato credits.
              When i asked an equivalent credits as compensation he was not ready to give it, he just kept on repeating the company providing pre scripts and just was eager to close the chat. When i asked him to escalate the matter he again started off with the scripts and without providing a proper resolution said good night and ended the chat. When i asked him to not end the chat and escalate it to his seniors he said he couldn’t transfer the chat and asked me to raise a complaint to [protected]@zomato.com.
              Firstly if the area was marked unsafe the customer guy should not have asked me to order again.
              Secondly if the order got canceled again the second time also then 60 credits is not a compensation you should give for a two hour hustle.
              Thirdly the behaviour of the customer guy was very unprofessional he just wanted to end the chat and was not determined in getting the issue resolved..

                I have ordered 2 half half kg laddoo boxes from bikanervala through Zomato on 2nd July, 2019 at 7:52 pm and same has been delivered timely.
                My order no. [protected]

                But they guys have done mistake and send 1box of 1 kg instead of 2 half half kg boxes.

                I have requested zomato to exchange this 1kg box with 2 half half kg boxes because I need to give this to someone.

                But firstly they told that we will return you INR 160 as an compensation because delivery boy is not available. And INR will get credited now and INR 101 will be credit in 24-48 hours.

                I requested them to send full amount now. But they denied.

                Then I told Ok give partial amount now and partial in 24-48 hours.

                Now they are saying full amount will be credit in 24_48 hours.

                They are making fools to customer. I have attached all chat history with you.

                Kindly resolve.

                  People need to stop using zomato..I placed an order on June 30th 2019 with order Id [protected] at 12.58am for rs 270..I accidentally selected the wrong item and placed the order..upon realizing my mistake at 12.59am a minute after placing the order I contacted zomato support to cancel the order...the order status in my history shows order rejected and that I owe zomato rs270 and I didn't receive any food..I asked 2 zomato chat agents to waive the fee but they denied it..zomato does not care for their customers .they don't care of the food is delivered after 1 and half hour or 2 hours ...their policy is that the order cannot be cancelled...

                  Today I ordered Foor from Zamoto. I tried to pay through Google pay and it did not fo through, then i paid through SBI net banking, but they refused to delivery the food informing that they did not receive the money, who is responsible Zamato the bank or the Indian government who has a finger in every pie. So money gone but no food.

                    I had ordered today post 3 pm while India Bangladesh match and after the first innings was over I thought of going back to choose 3 answers before 8:30 pm as by rules they have provided.But I was not showing me anything.I spoke to customer care he told me that once order is delivered you can not opt! What nonsense is this. stop duping customers like this and take us for a ride...in the name of cricket you guys have started one more mechanism to cheat customer s...really unprofessional of Zomato...already there is this reality out that this food delivery people are offering some percentage off and internally asking restaurant to hike the rates.so that they can cheat us one way or the other...

                      This is first and worst experience I faced from a customer based organization
                      Firstly rider after confirming the address from me in phone reached somewhere else
                      And secondly he is charging on me for reaching wrong address.
                      Then the customer care and support team fitted the phone on his own without listening or solving my problem
                      I am regular customer of Zomato and for making my uncle's day special I used Zomato
                      But what I get
                      Misbehaviour of rider and staff as well.
                      This I will raise to the higher authorities.
                      I am highly disappointed from your behavior
                      alonwith this when i am trying to contact he is cutting on my phone and chat is unavilable due to techinical issue.

                        I had ordered food from Zomato on 26th June. They delivered food with food items completely outside and more looking like a pile of garbage. I complained to the delivery boy, how we can accept it. He told you can return food and took my mobile told he will assist and cancelled my order. The food was thrown to dustbin as it was not fit for consumption.

                        Later after multiple mails and chats I neither got refund and Zomato was not even ready to accept their issue. In fact they fooled us telling refund will be given in 24 Hrs. Lastly they send mail stating, they cannot refund.

                        I did not get food nor money. Top of that they spoiled our occasion and time.

                          I ordered Chicken burger order number [protected] of Rs.234.45 paid by paytm. I got Call from Zomato boy that his bike broke down and It will take
                          1.5 to 2hrs for delivery better you cancle your order you will get refund.

                          I cancled this order and chat with Zomato agent they ensured me that in 24-48 hrs you will get refund but stilli have not recived my refund

                            I have ordered my food on 25th june vide order no [protected] amount 142.

                            Ordered meal was -
                            Half dal tadka-60
                            Half chana masala - 60
                            15 tandoori roti =75

                            In sequence of above i got food-
                            Half dal tadka
                            Half matar paneer while i ordered half chana masala
                            9 tandoori roti without butter and tight, while i ordered 15.
                            I informed to support team immediately and share pics of the got food. They promised to refund of amount and support team promised that amount will credit in 24 to 48 hrs, which is not credited in my zomato credit.
                            While my second order on same date which was also having some issue of amount of 80 credited in my zomato credited of order id - [protected].
                            Please have a look into the matter at the earliest and refund of 142 rs in zomato credits for order id - [protected]

                              First order had over spicy dum biryani, complained, got refund. Restaurant apologised, gave 2nd chance, oredered same with pre instructed, to improve and not to make over spicy. They gave over spicy again, are we taken for granted, my money is wasted, one food is still kept unopened. To proove... Asked on the spot to verify with customer support. I asked to take back and pay my amount.. Since u both cheated me... Looted my amount in the name of being a customer oriented service... Pre instruction were not followed, my hard earned money is looted here... They refused to pay back... My family slept without eating... Who is responsible for the situation... Mentality it has made upset and depressed. Kindly take it seriously, take action and compensate my loss

                                I placed an order on 28 Jun for an item and a coke worth 90 INR, the coke was never delivered, I had a chat with their executive who told me to write a mail, which I did.
                                All that happened after that was an apology mail from Zomato 3 days later.
                                No refund was issued.
                                This is basically stealing customer's money, today I had a chat with the executive again and he said he can't do anything and abruptly closed the chat.
                                Stop scamming people and refund my money right now.

                                I recieved a call today sayong he was from zomato and will refund my amount, I am pretty sure he was a scammer as he insisted that he will require my paytm login details to refund.
                                I told him to refund using zomato credits, he said it's not possible, then I told him that my paytm account is already linked with zomato, still he insisted that my login details are necessary.
                                Basically a scammer.

                                  I ordered food via zomato. But i foregate to us promo code. Within a minute, i contact to customer care and told him that i foregate to use my promo code and i have paid payment via paytm. Now i want to cancelled the order and refund the amount. The officer confirm to me that i (Officer) cancelled the order and your refund will be transfer in your vallate within 24-48 hours.
                                  Now today i saw status of my compliant. There are a message show that "we are not able to refund your amount.

                                  I request that pls take action and refund my amount.
                                  Amount is not big. But trust is trust.

                                  I continue contact on zamato app via support chat. and they were saying that there is some technical issue. due to delay of refund. but after three days they not solve it.
                                  Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Red pasta was smelling really bad that i can't even eat it. Garlic bread has no garlic in it... Burger was bad and French fries were oily. They are not refunding my money. My Money is wasted and food was untouchable.
                                  I ordered some stuff on zomato and they debited my account but showing payment incomplete in order details.my order number is:[protected]
                                  I have been sending over tons of emails to the customer care, however they were unable to resolve the issue. How a customer is supposed to avail the services when the company is blocking unnecessarily. Please take it forward.

                                    Hey i am order some food on 20-june 2019.
                                    My order id - [protected]
                                    I m order some food from your appliaction but there is no communication between dilivery boy an me and from your side my order was cancelled and my money was not refund to my account. Please refund my money as soon as possible otherwise i will go for legal proccess against this.
                                    And dilivery boy was not wait for a while to contact again
                                    Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    This is 3rd time I am suffering from it. they send me high salt, uncooked, foul smelling food, even I write a Mail regarding this but didn't dolved my issues. They brive me 150rps but I want my full money back. Now I want my full money back 385+172(previous order) total 557 ruppes.
                                    I ordered food from zomato and payment was made through google pay still my order did not get confirmed. I need a refund . I have attached both the pictures for reference. Resolve ASAP.

                                      I placed order on zomato at 6:42 pm and didn't get any update till 7:20 pm so i contacted customer care and they told me that your order is marked delayed and you will get refund. But when i didn't get any refund and contacted customer service again then he told me that we can't give you refund and can only give 50 rs zomato credit.
                                      Third class behaviour of customer care.

                                        Details: order number - [protected]. Food ordered on 19th june 2019 of rs 165.50. Paneer banjara dum biryani from restaurant known as dum matka from goregaon east. Phone number [protected]

                                        I ordered veg biryani from restaurant in goregaon mumbai known as dum matka. Order was supposed to be delivered at work place. So chances are rare that they can reach me on my cell phone. That's why we mention office landline number with delivery address. Instead of calling me on landline they tried few times on cell phone and said order got cancelled as you were unresponsive. Zomato and swiggy deliver so many order daily in my office and they don't have to call us. Just reach reception and security will call us to pick up order. Delivery guy said he is new in malad area so he went to some other premises which i mentioned as landmark. I spoke to restaurant manager vinod he said delivery guy didn't return food back to restaurant and they don't know what he did with the parcel. Zomato customer care on live chat said refund is already been processed but now email received from zomato says they won't process refund as per policy. I have screenshot of chat proving refund was promised by zomato.

                                        Ordered 2 chicken biryani but received only one chicken biryani.

                                        Ordered 2 chicken biryani, one egg Biryani and one chicken kobab but not received one chicken biryani... Not received any invoices for the order
                                        Despite cancelling order in couple of minutes i was fined the full amount of order by Zomato which i have to pay along with next bill. this is outrageous i am paying ofr nothina and had a valid reason for cancellation.
                                        Why should i pay for something i didnt want or received.
