I, ashwani k malhotra placed order from cuisino through zomato on 20th pm (Order [protected]) however order was not delivered.
I was informed by the rider that he tried calling and since no one answered the call he left. I told him that i was taking shower hence could not attend the call and whether he rang the door bell to which he replied in negative.

I contacted the rider who told me to get in touch with the customer support as he is currently not in a position to deliver the order. I called cust support (Mr arun) and offered to travel to rider's location for collection of my order. It was agreed that rider will return to restaurant after delivering current order and that i can reach the restaurant and collect order from him.

I reached the location which is a good 6 km's from my place and waited for a good 1 hour however rider did not turn up. Cust support (Mr shivam) again took rider on con call and to our utter shock we were informed by the rider that he is currently lost and does not know where he is and not sure whether he can return the order. I asked him to tell any nearest landmark and that i will travel to him no matter how far the location is, to which he replied that he does not know where he is... And subsequently switched his fone off... I was left stranded without food and complete loss of face (In front of my guests) even after 3.5 hrs of placing dinner order... Later i had a web chat on zomato app and cust executive again spoke to rider and was informed that he gave food to the poor... Cust executive told me that he is very sure that rider himself has eaten the food and thus he never wanted to meet u at first place and giving excuses. Cust support told me to lodge formal complaint on their e-mail address and that he will also strongly take up my case and that stern action will be taken against the rider and my amount will be returned (I have all doc's to prove same).

I lodged complaint through email and rec'd feedback that since i did not answer phone call my order was cancelled and amount equal to my order amount was deducted towards cancellation charges and that as per policy food is returned to restaurant. I asked for details regarding policy document and why it is not visible or told to the customers before placing order and why food was not returned also (I have statement record of restaurant owner). So far i have not received anything to address my concern.

Never thought in my wildest dreams of encountering such harrowing experience even after providing all required details and making advance payment.

There was a transaction of rs 319 on 24 june 2019 from my paytm wallet. The order was not placed by me still the amount was deducted. I am attaching the order number below. Please resolve the request. I would be grateful to you for this act.

      The order wasn't ever delivered they promised to refund my money on 13th jun. But money isn't refunded and now i cannot contact zomato services regarding my issue.

      I want real and fast complaint against zomato app. There are n no. Of complaints about zomato in this website as well as quora app.

        Hi

        I have ordered food in zomato today and in first order [protected] the status shown payment incomplete.

        So went with order again and this time order was successful but delivery time is too high so i did cancel this order. Ordered third time in near by restaurant

        After 30 mins for first order i got confirmation that order is placed. But i have another order placed. So i have to canceled this. Now the customer support is saying that i was penalized with ordered amount and will not get any refund.

            I had ordered choco bite family pack from “natural ice cream” on 16th jun @ 11:20 pm with order id: [protected].

            While tracking my order using the zomato app after 20 mins, i tried calling the naturals ice cream shop but no one picked up the phone, then i called up the delivery boy to enquire regarding the status of my order. The delivery boy mentioned that he had reached to a different branch of natural ice cream @ mahavir nagar instead of charkop branch in kandivali west. He agreed that it was his mistake and said that it will take another 50-55 mins to deliver the order at my home in malad west.

            I again tried calling up natural ice cream charkop branch but there was literally no response from them. Due to the delay caused by the mistake done by delivery boy and lack of response from natural ice cream shop, i went ahead and cancelled the order.

            Upon checking for the refund 2 days later, i am being told by the zomato chat support that the order has been cancelled and i am being charged penalty hence no refund will be issued.in this entire incident, i am not sure why i should be penalized for a mistake committed by someone else.

            I recently purchased zomato gold annual membership on 17th jun and now feeling frustrated with the kind of customer support that i am receiving from zomato.

            Even sent them an email and got a response after 5 days whereas their auto-response says emails will be responded within 24-48 hours.

            Request you to please look into this matter and issue my refund at the earliest.

              I ordered my food, order was worth rs275, i called the guy at 4:51, according to the map he was standing outside, i said that i m coming outside please wait, when i came back i saw him going in his bike, i even called him, and he didnt stop, i looked at the app, he had already cancelled the order. He told me he is outside and i can take my order, he cut my phone, cancelled the order and ran away also blocked my number, after which i talked to the support about it. They told me i can pick up my order from the restraunt my self, and that they have informed about it to the restraunt. They misinformed me about it, i went to the restraunt myself and there i was told that my order is cancelled and only zomato can do anything about it, or refund the money. There i got the information that the restraunt dont get the food back, probably the reason he felt cancelling the order and running away was a good idea.

                I have paid for an order [protected] on 31 may using an offer by which i was supposed to get cash back during the world cup promotion scheme. There were technical issues from zomato side so-called real-time issue as mentioned by there orders team on mail, hence i was not given offer at the time. I had request zomato team by mails and their support to provide me benefits of the offer as mentioned in the scheme. Zomato team is not providing me a contact number to discuss the issue, they are simply ignoring my requests. Their app support team says that they don't have proper authority and orders team decision is final. This is almost 3+ weeks of time to resolve the query but they have failed to resolve and literally cheating their customers by misguiding.

                  I have ordered from zomato and gets incorrect order, they assure me that you will get credit in your account but after waiting 10 day they just blocked my account instead of giving me credit. They just answering like computer written answer. They are not understanding what customer wants to talk, even though they are not reading what customer has written in complaint form.

                        Hello i have ordered food from zomato and i recieved a very very bad food !! .. it was smelling very badly and couldnt eat at all !! .. i have ordered from red chilly restuarant from zomato which is in bhavnagar city in gujarat state .. i have ordered specially thali and all the items in it were smelling very badly and the food was rotten .. My mom had to threw the Food directly into the dustbin ..only roti were left so i took pic of that .. i had also complaint to zomato chat but they didnt answer me properly and didnt help me to solve the issue !! .. i am sharing my ordered details and the rotten roti pics .

                        I just want refund for the amount i have paid ... I dont want zomato credits back also which i had earlier ... I just want the real money refunded which i have paid for this order !

                        ZOMATO IS NOT REFUNDING MY MONEY EVEN AFTER THIER RESTUARANT PROVIDED ME ROTTEN FOOD WHICH WAS SMILING SO BADLY. .. THEY DIDNT GAVE ME REFUND JUST TOLD ME "SORRY" .. I AM ADDING THE SCREENSHOT OF THIER RESPONSE TOO

                          Today we ordered food through zomato as cod and after placing the order we received the call from the restaurant person side where he stated that he would not come at our location for delivery because he was not feeling safe. However earlier several order we have placed at this same time and we received delivery but this time delivery person misbehaved and denied for delivery and requested to us for order cancellation from my side. Then we said if he is not ready to come at location then he could also cancel the order. Then he denied for it and said again and again to cancel the order from my side. Later on when we talked with the customer care agent for the same he talked with restaurant person and informed us later. Customer care agent said to us that make the payment first on delivery person personal mobile number on his paytm account because delivery person is not feeling safe.

                          Now my question here if delivery person is not feeling safe today in this location where n number of delivery have been placed earlier then why he demanded for making payment in his personal paytm account??? Would he be safe after getting payment in his personal paytm account for delivery in my location where he is raising question against safety???

                          This kind of blackmailing is going on now a days with the customer which is not acceptable. We people are hungry and had a faith on zomato that is why we placed order but today faith broken.

                          And when we discussed all this with the customer care agent he is also not supportive and taking only in delivery person favor and tone was also unprofessional. Which seems there is some connection between them where they raised the concern of safety with customer and later demand money in his personal account.

                          I will block zomato for my further delivery due to such a pathetic service where they are playing with customer at any time.

                            We ordered one veg and one non veg pizza. We received both non veg pizza. My partner who is pure veg person ate non veg food assuming one pizza is veg. You guys suck. After raising issue with support they responded to wait and no response after that at all.

                            What i received is one chicken teriyaki and one chicken chesse pizza.

                            I will take this matter to consumer forum not only because of your incorrect order which made my wife eat non vegetarian food but also for the service support you provide.

                            Certainly you have made big name in the market and now you are least bothered about customer satisfaction.
                            But please mark my word that you can not fool people and continue this behavior with the grown and aware indian citizens.

                            Thank you for not responding. As i am quite sure that you guys are not going to respond.

                            I have kept evidence of all and will make sure i produce the same at and on correct platform.

                              I ordered for kadhai paneer on box meal sec 62 noida from my address scc sapphire rajnagar extension to which they accepted but delivery boy called me and said ur location is coming in indirapuram and i won't deliver the food at ur address. Customer care executive also talked to me rudely. I want my money back asap because i paid for something which i never got.

                                How can zomato charge me when my food was not at all delivered to me by saying the given address is wrong. There is a navigation problem in theirr system and the same had been accepted by the customer care person in call. This is my first experience with zomato and it is very very worst. I was ready to give extra amount to the delivery person if he attempted to delivery my food. This is ridiculous
                                They can't make a person wait for his food by saying that we will deliver you at your door step after getting the payment. I can't be charged for their navigation issue. If i was charged then the food has to be dispatched at any cost or refund has to come. If this is not working, i shall go to the extreme level of justice. Why i have to pay for the food which was not delivered to me at all..?

                                  I have paid for an order[protected] and the offer was that i will get cashback using paytmupi. I never got that and every time zomato support says it will reflect in 24 to 48 hrs. Its almost 12 days and each time they say it will take 24 to 48 hrs. Finally they said paytm issue and to contact them and they will add 45 credit and it will take 24 to 48 hrs. But the credit never reflected and again when contacted they were using same template and trick. They said to email us and when we emailed them same template they pasted and never bothered to reply. I am fade up of such service. If they are not able to provide cashback, credit also why they misguide costumer. Swiggy and uber are instant resolution provider.

                                    Hello, i have money in my paytm wallet of 812.43, i am trying to buy the zomato gold subscription and with the promocode of paytmgold i have to only pay 756/- but it says wallet balance isnt sufficient. Pls sort this out or kindly refund me my 812.43/- rupees back to my account.

                                    Zomato is collecting money from people and making a fool o[censored]s, they dont even have a customer care number and the one listed on their website never works.

                                      I ordered 2 burgers and 3 mint lime mojitos through zomato. The order was delivered but was badly handled by the delivery agents. I said the same to the agent but he denied it and said that the order was badly packed and so I contacted the Zomato Customer Care through chat. They wasted almost 20 minutes of my time and said that they cannt refund my money even though I was ready to give back the order as they delivered to me. Kindly address my grievance.

                                        I ordered the biryani, cost was 197 rupees. Zomato app pick the wrong address, so i immediately cancel the order. They put the cancellation charge was 197 (Full amount).

                                        There was no term and condition why placing the order. Yesterday i got one popup message which was hiding all the cancellation charges.
