[protected] order no deliver not attempted and i don't get a single call from delivery person now they are saying on chat we tried to call you but i don't received any calls as i tried to call delivery guy also but he didn't pick up my calls and later on he cancelled the order without my permission and deducted my money in the name of cancellation please take very strict action against zomato as they are cheating customers hard earned money please help me sir i want my money back

    Hello, To whomsoever it may concern,

    Request you to look into this issue as the Zomato account is locked for no reason and there's nothing the customer care team can do about it. Additionally, find the root cause and let know the reason to get the account Banned.
    This was outrageous when I ordered food & I almost receive the quarterly of it. I order 20 rotis & recieved only 5. Ordered a full plate of a gravy dish & a mixed veg. Recieved quarter of it too. I know this is going to get resolved with no serious after effects whatsoever but I'm going to write my grief everywhere. This was a prepaid order.
    My order rs 162rs dedited on zomato but my order not accepted plz refund my money

    even no water was there to drink.
    Due to some issues...i have cancelled my order... But without penalty i can't order more

      Hi,
      I ordered subway on zomato but due to it was taking too long more than 40 mins so i had to cancel my order within 2 mins after placing order but zomato deducted entire bill amount as penalty and did not refund anything. This is highly offensive and cheating with consumer. I would requesg to take strong action against such issues.

        I ordered from Zomato on 22nd June, 2019, but for some issues they rejected my order ... But I couldn't get any refunded amount till date.. I am unable to do chat with Zomato because chat is not visible... So it is the big problem...
        Please help me by which I will get my money as soon as possible...
        Zomato took the money for order. But the order wasn't completed, and they refused the refund, saying it was taken as penalty. Please look into this matter.
        I'm place by mistake order swad desi restaurant, Chole bhature, then I call Restaurant and I spoke please cancel my Order. After some time delivery boy call me sir aapka order cancel krna h isliye bnaya nahi h, aapko call aayega bas confirmation dena order cancel ka, I said ok, then call Zomato Executive hi tell me sir 130 charge your next bill.

          We placed our order at 5 o’clock in the afternoon and we have recieved a feedback almost three hours that the order is not placed because you guys cannot reach my number cannot be delivered. This is unacceptable and a very bad service from you guys to think that zomato is one of the biggest names when in comes to this. By the way this is not the first time that we encountered a problem with you so please get your act together. This is so disappointing!!!

            I have placed an order form zomato. After 5 mins i receive an message that my order is confirmed. Then after 30 mins i get a call from a zomato's delivery boy name ankit working in bijnor (246701) that the order is not available at the restraunt. It was my first order and i got a 100 rupees on my bill. After that i receive a message that order was delivered. But i didn't got any order.in this way i lost my first order and 100 rupees off also.

                Hi,

                I had ordered food using Zomato app from the restaurant Sawee, Baner Pashan Link Road, Next To Hotel Karolbaug, Baner, Pune 411045 on 24th June 2019.

                Case 1: Order no [protected] : This order was rejected because your delivery boy tried our phone once or twice and returned. We have clearly give the address and location is seen on the map. He could have come in and delivered the parcel. But he just went back. Also, Zomato has charged the entire amount for this. They say this the policy and it will not be refunded.

                Case 2: Immediately, when the first order was cancelled, I re-ordered the same items again from the same resturant. Order no[protected]. This order was delivered in one hour's time. But the food was pathetic. They served smelly and stale food.

                Order no [protected] and [protected] : this is the same order. So the restuarant served the same food which was ordered previously. In that case, why should charge me twice. And also, it is the fault of their delivery boy who did not deliver the food.

                The policies of Zomato are really pathetic and my overall experience has been horrible. I am deeply deeply disappointed and vow to never use your app again.

                  Placed a order in domino's today (25/6/19) using zomato for value of 231₹. Money debited from account and later it pop-uped order cancelled. But money has not credited back to my account. And while trying to contact zomato customer care no valid number is given and no support or response from their side. Hating to place order on zomato.                     Please note i a regular zomato customer since long ago. On 14th june at around 8 pm that is todày i ordered one kohinoor chicken biryani from petoo, vivek khand, gomti nagar, lucknow, order number [protected]
                    I am a foodi and regular order biryanies from different places. On your zomato app under petoo, vivek khand, gomti nagar, nowhere was written or clarified that they serve boneless biryani, on the contrary it asked for half or full and suggests 4 pieces will be offered when ordered full, now when it is delivered to myself and when i contacted to petoo, they clarify that they only serve boneless biryani and that can be checked on food photograph present on their app.
                    I have not gone through such cheating before and humiliated.
                    Kindly check and i expect my full refund as this is restaurent 's fault.

                      I, ashwani k malhotra placed order from cuisino through zomato on 20th pm (Order [protected]) however order was not delivered.
                      I was informed by the rider that he tried calling and since no one answered the call he left. I told him that i was taking shower hence could not attend the call and whether he rang the door bell to which he replied in negative.

                      I contacted the rider who told me to get in touch with the customer support as he is currently not in a position to deliver the order. I called cust support (Mr arun) and offered to travel to rider's location for collection of my order. It was agreed that rider will return to restaurant after delivering current order and that i can reach the restaurant and collect order from him.

                      I reached the location which is a good 6 km's from my place and waited for a good 1 hour however rider did not turn up. Cust support (Mr shivam) again took rider on con call and to our utter shock we were informed by the rider that he is currently lost and does not know where he is and not sure whether he can return the order. I asked him to tell any nearest landmark and that i will travel to him no matter how far the location is, to which he replied that he does not know where he is... And subsequently switched his fone off... I was left stranded without food and complete loss of face (In front of my guests) even after 3.5 hrs of placing dinner order... Later i had a web chat on zomato app and cust executive again spoke to rider and was informed that he gave food to the poor... Cust executive told me that he is very sure that rider himself has eaten the food and thus he never wanted to meet u at first place and giving excuses. Cust support told me to lodge formal complaint on their e-mail address and that he will also strongly take up my case and that stern action will be taken against the rider and my amount will be returned (I have all doc's to prove same).

                      I lodged complaint through email and rec'd feedback that since i did not answer phone call my order was cancelled and amount equal to my order amount was deducted towards cancellation charges and that as per policy food is returned to restaurant. I asked for details regarding policy document and why it is not visible or told to the customers before placing order and why food was not returned also (I have statement record of restaurant owner). So far i have not received anything to address my concern.

                      Never thought in my wildest dreams of encountering such harrowing experience even after providing all required details and making advance payment.

                      There was a transaction of rs 319 on 24 june 2019 from my paytm wallet. The order was not placed by me still the amount was deducted. I am attaching the order number below. Please resolve the request. I would be grateful to you for this act.

                            I have ordered food in zomato today and in first order [protected] the status shown payment incomplete.

                            So went with order again and this time order was successful but delivery time is too high so i did cancel this order. Ordered third time in near by restaurant

                            After 30 mins for first order i got confirmation that order is placed. But i have another order placed. So i have to canceled this. Now the customer support is saying that i was penalized with ordered amount and will not get any refund.

                                I had ordered choco bite family pack from “natural ice cream” on 16th jun @ 11:20 pm with order id: [protected].

                                While tracking my order using the zomato app after 20 mins, i tried calling the naturals ice cream shop but no one picked up the phone, then i called up the delivery boy to enquire regarding the status of my order. The delivery boy mentioned that he had reached to a different branch of natural ice cream @ mahavir nagar instead of charkop branch in kandivali west. He agreed that it was his mistake and said that it will take another 50-55 mins to deliver the order at my home in malad west.

                                I again tried calling up natural ice cream charkop branch but there was literally no response from them. Due to the delay caused by the mistake done by delivery boy and lack of response from natural ice cream shop, i went ahead and cancelled the order.

                                Upon checking for the refund 2 days later, i am being told by the zomato chat support that the order has been cancelled and i am being charged penalty hence no refund will be issued.in this entire incident, i am not sure why i should be penalized for a mistake committed by someone else.

                                I recently purchased zomato gold annual membership on 17th jun and now feeling frustrated with the kind of customer support that i am receiving from zomato.

                                Even sent them an email and got a response after 5 days whereas their auto-response says emails will be responded within 24-48 hours.

                                Request you to please look into this matter and issue my refund at the earliest.

                                  I ordered my food, order was worth rs275, i called the guy at 4:51, according to the map he was standing outside, i said that i m coming outside please wait, when i came back i saw him going in his bike, i even called him, and he didnt stop, i looked at the app, he had already cancelled the order. He told me he is outside and i can take my order, he cut my phone, cancelled the order and ran away also blocked my number, after which i talked to the support about it. They told me i can pick up my order from the restraunt my self, and that they have informed about it to the restraunt. They misinformed me about it, i went to the restraunt myself and there i was told that my order is cancelled and only zomato can do anything about it, or refund the money. There i got the information that the restraunt dont get the food back, probably the reason he felt cancelling the order and running away was a good idea.

                                    I have paid for an order [protected] on 31 may using an offer by which i was supposed to get cash back during the world cup promotion scheme. There were technical issues from zomato side so-called real-time issue as mentioned by there orders team on mail, hence i was not given offer at the time. I had request zomato team by mails and their support to provide me benefits of the offer as mentioned in the scheme. Zomato team is not providing me a contact number to discuss the issue, they are simply ignoring my requests. Their app support team says that they don't have proper authority and orders team decision is final. This is almost 3+ weeks of time to resolve the query but they have failed to resolve and literally cheating their customers by misguiding.

                                      I have ordered from zomato and gets incorrect order, they assure me that you will get credit in your account but after waiting 10 day they just blocked my account instead of giving me credit. They just answering like computer written answer. They are not understanding what customer wants to talk, even though they are not reading what customer has written in complaint form.

                                        I've placed an order from box office and i am very unsatisfied with your service and behavior.
                                        Your delivery boy not delivered my stuff and instead of reaching at my delivery address which is at agya nagar he reached at vidya nagar and after that he cancelled my order.

                                        Even then your team is charging plenty on me. Why would i give penalties because of his fault?

                                        I want my money back asap
