While placing the order, immediately my paytm wallet got deducted without giving any final confirmation of payment deduction. Through chatting with their customer care executive, i was trying to tell them, that I forgot to apply the discount promo codes but somehow the order cancellation option got pressed by mistake and immediately they cancelled my order without any refund. they charged the whole amount as penalty, even after my repeated request to resume the order. I keep on saying them to resume my order immediate after cancellation but they were not ready to accept my request. This is highly pathetic.

    Few days back i had ordered food from zomato and the restaurant rm where i ordered they delivered me a rotten food nd when i told this to zomato customer service they refunded back my money but after some time they blocked my account without informing me and when i tried to email them they all went unresponsive from yesterday onwards i have wrote them so many emails but they are not replying nor they are telling why they blocked my account please do something regarding this as because my money is there in that account

      I am a regular customer of zomato using zomato online ordering application with following credentials:

      user email: [protected]@gmail.com
      mobile: [protected]

      Last time when I placed the order through zomato at No Name Kitchen I received wrong items in my order.

      I complained this issue to the zomato delivery support who in turn apologized for this and promised me to refund 94.5rs as a token of apology within 48hours.

      But I regret to say that right after getting that 94.5rs into my zomato wallet my zomato online ordering application got blocked accusing me of some suspicious behavior.

      I have written so many mails to [protected]@zomato.com but I haven't received any response to this regard.

      I therefore request you to kindly check my details and re- activate my online ordering account application so that I can again use the services of zomato as well as my unused money in my zomato wallet plz help.

          I have ordered at Zomato (ref. [protected]) where I manually entered new address i.e. C/4, Dwarkesh CHS, L T Road, Borivali West, Mumbai 400092.
          After 25 mins. I recd. call from Rider and asked me Sir where is your address located. I asked him where are you currently and he told me some Asthvianayak Road which I don't know where it is. I told him to check anyone near by you and asked for OM Jweller which is famous landmark although my address itself is known. After 5 mins again he called me and then he said sorry actually i was calling customer care and by mistake dialed your number. I again asked where did you reach and he was still there. Finally after 10 mins I recd. call from Customer care and they mentioned your address is incorrect.

          I am shocked when I came to know Zomato app is having issue to detect location and enter additional map location which customer has not entered while placing order. Why I would enter additional address line after pin code...that too 4 Kms. away from my current location. My worst experience with Visesh (customer care executive) who doesn't allow to speak customer and keep on talking the same thing instead he can listen customer's concern and appologize for wrong detected address. Instead he keep on telling we don't have sr. person to escalate and we can't do anything ...your order will get cancelled and your money also will not be refunded. I told him that I can show MTNL or electric bill which shows address is correct what I have entered but he just stick to his Zomato location ...2nd I told why rider didn't informed me...on that he said sometime location didn't detect so he can only call if he doesn;t find address...and then he told me you can go and collect your order from store otherwise you will lost money and then he disconnected phone call.

          I called rider who told me he is already on the way to return my order at store and i won't get that order again back. I requested him wherever you are ...just stay there i will collect from you as I ordered this food for my In Laws for special occasion. Suddenly he started talking rudely and told me now I will not go to store...whosever I will get in on my way ...i will give it to them..."Jaao joh karna hai kar lo app" his no. is [protected]...he said I am tired now and going back to home ..."Abhi me store me bhi nahi jaonga" and then I told him i want to escalate this matter...he told me i dont have customer care number...aap joh karna hai karo...and disconnected the phone...

          I got msg stating your order has been rejected and money will be refund in 2-3 days..

          My concern is my relatives didn't get food in time and also such behaviour from customer care and rider are not acceptable. Hence I would request someone to take action against both so that another customer doesn't face such hassle and understand value of foods & time.

            I've placed an order on Zomato but shopkeeper reject my order
            But they didn't refund my money back. They are saying there is penalty charge. But I cancelled as Soon as possible. How they can say such words?
            And penalty should be some amount of the order price. They are saying penalty charge is full of the amount of order.dn't refund my money back.

              MY daughter ordered veg california rolls from Sumo sushi to day afternoon .9 Jun 2019 through Zomato. This is in New Delhi.

              Zomato sent the food in sealed cover. The sushi was found with cockroach inside. She has suffered mental agony because of this. We have also written negative review on the Sumo Sushi website.

              How can we contact Zomato to refund the money and give compensation for this mental agony? It should be responsibility of Zomato since the food was ordered through Zomato, even though they sent it in sealed cover.

              We have sent our driver to Sumo Sushi shop to show him the food with the cockroach inside and to ask for redressal.

              The location of the Sumo Sushi restaurant is Aashirwaad Complex in Green Park, New Delhi.
              My driver went to the restaurant. All they have done is refunded the money and given a fresh box of sushi., which noone wants to eat after this episode and at this late time. A complete waste of time, money and effort.

                  Order was cancelled from your side as the shop was closed. But till now we have not received refund amount. Plz check and do the needful.

                    With reference to order id[protected] on 4th june at 7:33 pm. With zomato. I ordered the food item. But the coupon code was not applied and amount of rs. 220 deducted.

                    I immediately called the delivery boy within few seconds to get it cancelled as coupon code was not applied. And same time asks if it was packed. He denied and confirms the cancellation with me and at the same time i cancels the order from zomato app also..

                    Zomato promised to pay the refund within 24-48 hrs. I am also having screenshorts of all the conversations attached below.

                    Then i again contacted them regarding the refund. They said we have refunded the amount to your paytm wallet. And share your concern with paytm.

                    Then i contacted contacted paytm regarding the refund. Paytm saidthey have not received any amount.

                    Then i again asked zomato for they refund. They denied. They harassed me for 6-7 days.

                    Please help.

                    In the conversation they are clearly saying that we have paid the refund to my paytm wallet. contact paytm.. And later they said we cant give your refund.

                      I complained about the food and they disabled my account.I am regular user of the zomato food delivery services.always ordered food from them like daily at least one order from them. I always gave the food and the delivery guys according to the service I get. Still they disabled my account, am very much disappointed by this..it's like you could not complain anything now otherwise they will disable your account!!!

                        Zomato has one of the worst customer service procedures ever. They dont understand what "closing the loop" and "voice of the customer" is.

                        No wonder their customer service rating is 15%

                        All they do is apologize for the inconvenience and assure that the mistake was not intentional.

                        That's is not making things right. Specially when you are taking money and providing bad quality food.
                        They just say that it won't happen next time without providing a replacement or refund for the bad food.

                          Today I have gone through a very annoying situation with my order, and it is life time bad experience with Zomato till the day I am using your App.
                          Today (8th June 2019, Saturday), I have ordered lunch from Metro Dhaba Order ID: [protected], The Delivery address was clearly mentioned at the time of ordering. Earlier I and my colleagues received many orders to same address from Zomato rider. But today what happen, the rider tried to reach me through call, as I was in an important meeting, I missed his call. Though he has the proper door address with him, he even not tried to reach at my office door which was very easy for him as my office is in a mall, and every time other rider just knocked my door and delivered me the food with a smile.
                          Then how can the rider Ravendra done this irresponsible job, as he has not tried to reach to me and cancelled the order?
                          I have paid 142 rupees for the order, is not my money and my time valuable to you?
                          Why he has no tried to reach to my door when he can't able to reach by call?
                          Do we people are not paying the Delivery Charges?
                          Why you people are promising "Food at your Doorstep"??
                          What is the significance of registration in a your app with proper delivery address? If you think that rider will reach a nearby place then will call and supply the order then there is no need for the "Add Address" Section.

                          I need my money back as soon as possible. Also take action on this. For your reference I have attached the order details below.

                              My opinion for the problem is company should provide a lunch box connected with gps system and such type of OTP options to the customer as password . So that after packing the food the box will generate otp and send direct to the customer & it will not been shared by any one no with the shopkeeper or the delivery boy the otp is in between of company and customer

                                I have order through zomato, for two times the order items was missing i complaint it to customer support through chat window, no one ever response. Today they responded back after 2days and said we can't help you on any of your cause as it is out of Zomato policy. Is this the how customer excellency is measured through zomato. Neitger refund has been initiated nor any support. They are too rude in maintaining a customer relationship. No more trust on zomato services

                                  Few days back i ordered dominos pizza through Zomato ...after placing the order money was deducted from my account but the status on my Zomato account was 'payment incomplete'...after that an agent was assigned to look after it, he assured me that my payment will be reversed between 5 to 7 days in my account but now its been 8 days i haven't received my refund ...they have such pathetic customer support now they are not replying to any of my messages

                                    I order some food from zomato. After accepting the order, restaurant sent me food which was not properly packed and completely spoiled. The delivery guy told me that he will replace the order and after half an hour when he did not show up, i called to check the status of my order.Delivery man said he can't do anything as the matter is between restaurant and zomato.i am not able to contact to zomato customer care and helpless .

                                      Hi, I had emailed on 3rd June regarding my App blocking, I just got 1 reply stating to wait for 24-48hr, I did and I still haven't got a single call of email after that.

                                      I think I have complete right to know what exactly is the reason behind it, if there was mistake from my end, they should have cross checked or spoke to me once before blocking .
                                      I felt Zomato was in top regarding customer service, but you guys have disappointed me miserably.

                                      I am still waiting for proper and valid explaination from Zomato.

                                        I have ordered food at 9pm on 6th June 2019 from Zomato. My order number is [protected].
                                        Delivery boy reached at 9:50 at doorstep and called me. I have picked and told him please deliver food at 1st floor at mentioned in address but he denied he will not come on 1st floor. I just told him about me busy on office calls but he left place without delivered food. is it kind of delivery of zomato ?
                                        After few minutes, i just received call from zomato heldesk regarding my order has cancelled due delivery boy has been so far from the location.
                                        I told them for another order but they said there is option available now so what kind of services they are offering to client, i really don't understand the concept of zomato (making fool of people).
                                        They offered me the refund with in 2-7 days.
                                        is the refund really justify for this thing. I had not dinner that night due to non-availability of food on that location.
