Dear Team, I have place an order on 07th June 2019 at 7.41 PM. My order has been confirmed at 7.45 PM. AT around 8 or so I have received a call from the deliver boy stating am at the delivery point (Gate 5, High Court), which is not at all correct which the location I have given. He has connected to the Driver dept., wherein he told that the location is incorrect and we will cancel the order and refund will not be given. After a conversation of about 15-20 minutes, he disconnected the all and an SMS has been received to me stating "We have initiated a refund against your order (id: [protected]) on Zomato Order. Refund of Rs.615 will start reflecting in your account within 2-7 working days. Till now there is no status.

Kindly looking into this matter.

    I've placed and cancelled my order in 3 mins of total time on Zomato application. On 3rd May2019, for that order I've made payment online my payment was successful and the amount transferred to the Zomato account. But think is that there's no such history of my order which I've made on Zomato app as the cancellation too. But the order was cancelled. I didn't receive anything from there side still now[protected]. For this issue I've texted a lot over the chat support in Zomato app and e-mailed a lot to receive the honest response from them. But i didn't receive anything as I expected. Due to there failure on maintaining the application they blames me that I'm stating false. After I started to collect the payment history from my bank account details on paying for the Zomato. I've enclosed that with the email. Even though they're are not ready to rectify my issue. Atlast I received my order ID and i made questioning them. Now they're saying that as per our new policy we don't refund the amount. Your total amount was Deducted as a penalty.? Sounds horrible right. Mostly penalty are on percentage basic but they're tooking the whole as a penalty.
    The reason they said to me is once u placed your order the restaurant will make it ready so it'll be wasted i[censored] cancelled it.
    "As a chef I personally know within 3mins it's not a possible thing to make it ready."
    By saying this reason they're trying to escape from it. I've demanded them that pay me back the value on what I've paid u . But that cheating enterprise not ready to pay. By this only the company is making profit. I think so.i request you all please don't trust these kinds of application anymore . I'm attaching the image of my payment confirmation same I've stated above. They're literally removed the order history from my application profile these is enough for proving them cheater's.

      I had placed an order using zomato specifically mentioning the address different from from GPRS location as had some guest at my home but ttheir rude zomato valet denied to deliver at the mentioned address stating that he will deliver at the location depicting from GPRS. And Zomato is not refunding my amount they have hand in gloves with their executive fool the customer.
      Now just received one reply that you were not at the location mentioned as delivery address whereas the correct fact is the zomato valet never delivered to the delivery address that idiot was arguing and said will deliver at the location as per GPRS.
      .
      Zomato has got as excuse that I was not at the delivery address.

      Please understand your business is provided and growing by customers not by zomato valets and its high time you should accept the fault and refund the amount

        This is Vibish, yesterday i had ordered some sweets from Zomato online (Kanti Sweets), I ordered the food by doing online payment, within a minute i had to cancel the order due to some sudden change.

        Actually it was for my friend i had ordered to deliver at my location, but unfortunately he wanted me to cancel the order, he wanted to visit the store directly for selecting the sweets.

        Since I'm a reputed customer in Zomato for a longer period, this was the 1st case i ever faced for a penalty of Rs.605 for just cancelling the order within minutes. I requested customer care team several times for refund the amount, they rejected by saying refund cannot be done.

        Though I can understand if it was related to food which was supposed to cook, if that's the case I would have left it I accept for the no refund,

        But here its just a ready made sweet which I ordered, which can be easily cancelled & refund can be done, but Zomato team neglected and gave worst response when I requested them for a refund.

        and there is no call support also, only by messages or emails we need to get in touch.

          I had subscribe to Zomato gold through Facebook ID on 9th June 19 vide bank ref No[protected] and paid 800/- for subscription. after Payment the app is not responding and continuously showing error, " something went wrong, please try again later"
          mobile application not working only when connected to My Facebook account.
          I want a refund of my amount since i am not able to use my subscription.

            I placed Order number [protected] on 10.06.2019 and after a wait of 70-80 minutes, I came to know that my order is cancelled and it was informed that delivery boy called me and my number was not reachable. Zomato penalised me with Rs.163/- and cancelled my order. I had to sleep last night without eating food.

            I did not receive any call from Zomato and lost my food as well as my prepaid money. It is kindly requested to refund my money at the earliest.

              I had placed an order with Ovenstory Pizza, Thane on Saturday 08, 2019 at 10:40 pm. The scheduled delivery time for the order was 35min. I've a screenshot of the entire order summary too.

              Now, after waiting till 11:30 pm, I started calling up zomato customer care which got redirected to your partner restaurant. They told me that your pizza is ready and you will get that in 20min (I. E. 11:50 pm). Please note that - without informing the customer they transferred my order to Mulund Ovenstory.

              Now, at 12:10 Am, I again got in touch with zomato chat (I have taken a screenshot) and asked the person about order delivery. He tryed to contact restro but no one received his call (As per executive information). Your guy gave me a refund and gave me the standard apology response. There was a party at my place, and no way I would have waited for your irresponsible delivery guy to get my food. Zomato chat person canceled my order and promised me to give extra 335 Zomato credits.

              After OvenStory Zomato started harassing me - just giving reasons that there is some tech issue and because of that your 335 will credit after 24hrs. Thrice I contacted them on CHAT and Zomato person gave me same reason.

              This is a case of blatant cheating and I am going to take this case further. This is extremely pathetic. I expect you to refund me back my entire amount, my Zomato Credits of 335 for harassment! Why Zomato allows such a CHEAT restro on there board.

              Contacted Zomato 4th time for my Zomato credits and still, they are facing the technical issue. Same copy paste message from there executive "wait for more 24hrs"

              Hello, knock knock Zomato!!!

              Your system is down is since the last 72hrs... R u guys running any roadside DHABA by any chance! Zomato system is down since 72hrs... hahahahaha!! Please change your technical team - as they cannot resolve the issue after 72hrs also. Might be you recruited some DRUNK TECH TEAM. Please don't make customers fool like this way.

              And your CHAT executives are so good in Copy Paste template message...wow! They are not interested to resolve the issue. They want customers to file a Case against ZOMATO.

              I need resolution!

                I have been charged for cancellation fee which I cancelled just five seconds after the order... literally 5 seconds...now they are charging me equivalent to the amount of my order which is a loot..and they hav not replied to my answer that I had cancelled just 5 seconds after the order was placed ...I couldn't possibly imagine how even the oil will be poured into the wok in 5 seconds let alone order confirmation in the kitchen...I have attached my images for email

                  Hey I always order food almost daily cause I stay single and work last night my account was blocked for suspicious activity I had 689 credits that had stacked over past 2 months I never used it thinking I could order when my friends are at my house trust me all the money I received was only because I had 5 orders with an item missing trust me I did not do anything wrong when I complained to zomato he said that the money request were fake I didn't know that if I stacked it I would be questioned he also abused me

                    I have ordered food from krithunga ameerpet, Hyderabad, we are waiting for food, my mobile also working fine, but i didn't received any call from the delivery boy, when i chat with zomato customer care through mail, they given below reply,
                    "We have checked with the delivery person for your order ID [protected] and got to know that he tried to call you at the time of delivery but you didn't respond to calls and in this case, the order was declined due to a reason o[censored]ser unresponsive. Since the food was already dispatched, the cancellation charge equal to the order amount will be levied.
                    Hence, we are unable to refund for the same"

                    As i didn't get any call from delivery boy and also am in a pick up point waiting for food and without any intemation they canceled my order and money also not refunded within time (And within 1hour how can the food will waste as they are providing a cheap quality food it seems so in that case only food will get waste) And i have ordered end number of times in zomato and this is the first time where am facing this issue and hope you understand from where the problem is, so please refund my amount within 24 hours,

                      This order was rejected by Zomato -Pizza Planet. I didnt receive the refund or the order cancellation email or the refund reference number.

                      I have tried contacting chat they asked me to email [protected]@zomato.com and its been 2 days and no response.

                      Also there is no proper customer care. My money is stuck for which chat associates have no answer and are rude and there is no response from email team.

                      Worst experience. Playing a huge fraud game by luring customers with their offer and then not refunding the amount when restaurant rejects order!!

                        I placed an order at about 6:30 pm on Monday 10th June through SBI net banking. My payment went through but I did not recieve a confirmation. I called the restaurant (Bengal Sweet Centre) to ask if they had received the order but they said they had not. I tried calling zomato many times but this is not working as well. I lost 760 Rupees. I don't know why they have a poor redressal system. If netbanking doesn't work, they should not offer the option of paying through this mode.

                            Yesterday I ordered from zomato.. I called delivery boy for confirming the status of my order.. he said he is eating his lunch and they he will go for collecting the order after.. he asked me he will complete his lunch in next 10 min.. i said okay Np, after 15 min when i call the delivery boy again he said he is going to finish his lunch soon and then he will go for collecting the order.. my Guests are waiting for lunch I can’t give that much to him, i complained against delivery boy who is busy with his lunch to zomato care and asked them why you aligned someone who is eating his lunch, I canceled the order due to this reason and now they are not refunding my money and saying the amount will be charge as a penalty.. how would i bear the lose..

                              While placing the order, immediately my paytm wallet got deducted without giving any final confirmation of payment deduction. Through chatting with their customer care executive, i was trying to tell them, that I forgot to apply the discount promo codes but somehow the order cancellation option got pressed by mistake and immediately they cancelled my order without any refund. they charged the whole amount as penalty, even after my repeated request to resume the order. I keep on saying them to resume my order immediate after cancellation but they were not ready to accept my request. This is highly pathetic.

                                Few days back i had ordered food from zomato and the restaurant rm where i ordered they delivered me a rotten food nd when i told this to zomato customer service they refunded back my money but after some time they blocked my account without informing me and when i tried to email them they all went unresponsive from yesterday onwards i have wrote them so many emails but they are not replying nor they are telling why they blocked my account please do something regarding this as because my money is there in that account

                                  I am a regular customer of zomato using zomato online ordering application with following credentials:

                                  mobile: [protected]

                                  Last time when I placed the order through zomato at No Name Kitchen I received wrong items in my order.

                                  I complained this issue to the zomato delivery support who in turn apologized for this and promised me to refund 94.5rs as a token of apology within 48hours.

                                  But I regret to say that right after getting that 94.5rs into my zomato wallet my zomato online ordering application got blocked accusing me of some suspicious behavior.

                                  I have written so many mails to [protected]@zomato.com but I haven't received any response to this regard.

                                  I therefore request you to kindly check my details and re- activate my online ordering account application so that I can again use the services of zomato as well as my unused money in my zomato wallet plz help.

                                      I have ordered at Zomato (ref. [protected]) where I manually entered new address i.e. C/4, Dwarkesh CHS, L T Road, Borivali West, Mumbai 400092.
                                      After 25 mins. I recd. call from Rider and asked me Sir where is your address located. I asked him where are you currently and he told me some Asthvianayak Road which I don't know where it is. I told him to check anyone near by you and asked for OM Jweller which is famous landmark although my address itself is known. After 5 mins again he called me and then he said sorry actually i was calling customer care and by mistake dialed your number. I again asked where did you reach and he was still there. Finally after 10 mins I recd. call from Customer care and they mentioned your address is incorrect.

                                      I am shocked when I came to know Zomato app is having issue to detect location and enter additional map location which customer has not entered while placing order. Why I would enter additional address line after pin code...that too 4 Kms. away from my current location. My worst experience with Visesh (customer care executive) who doesn't allow to speak customer and keep on talking the same thing instead he can listen customer's concern and appologize for wrong detected address. Instead he keep on telling we don't have sr. person to escalate and we can't do anything ...your order will get cancelled and your money also will not be refunded. I told him that I can show MTNL or electric bill which shows address is correct what I have entered but he just stick to his Zomato location ...2nd I told why rider didn't informed me...on that he said sometime location didn't detect so he can only call if he doesn;t find address...and then he told me you can go and collect your order from store otherwise you will lost money and then he disconnected phone call.

                                      I called rider who told me he is already on the way to return my order at store and i won't get that order again back. I requested him wherever you are ...just stay there i will collect from you as I ordered this food for my In Laws for special occasion. Suddenly he started talking rudely and told me now I will not go to store...whosever I will get in on my way ...i will give it to them..."Jaao joh karna hai kar lo app" his no. is [protected]...he said I am tired now and going back to home ..."Abhi me store me bhi nahi jaonga" and then I told him i want to escalate this matter...he told me i dont have customer care number...aap joh karna hai karo...and disconnected the phone...

                                      I got msg stating your order has been rejected and money will be refund in 2-3 days..

                                      My concern is my relatives didn't get food in time and also such behaviour from customer care and rider are not acceptable. Hence I would request someone to take action against both so that another customer doesn't face such hassle and understand value of foods & time.

                                        I've placed an order on Zomato but shopkeeper reject my order
