This is nishita from ahmedabad. I had ordered dominos pizza from zomato on friday evening i. E. 24th may. I tried to make the payment online at 8.21 pm but the transaction failed. However, the money was deducted from my axis bank account. I would like to hear from zomato about when can i expect the refund from zomato. The order number is [protected].

I am not being able to reach their call centre numbers as no one ever picks the calls. There is no revert on emails as well.

    This is to inform that few months back i cancelled order from zomato due to some massive confusion but still today its cancellation charges are being applied on my current order
    I want to request that that cancellation was not made on purpose and it was due to some gliche in your application
    Please remove that charges otherwise u will be loosing your one of a good customer
    Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    It says that due to some suspicious activity my account is blocked permanently. But I havent done anything of such nature. Also my Gold privilege is in the same account which i had renewed on in this may for an year. Please help me.

      I have ordered food from zomato order details : mid-night-crunch placed on 16th may at 02:42 am. #[protected], the order didn't reached to me once i talk to chat team they told delivery called so many times but you didn't receive, but i didn't receive a single call from them, so the chat support person asked to drop a mail to [protected]@zomato.com i only got the below reply but after there is no response from their end till date (28/5/2019)

      This mail is in regards to your order id-[protected].

      We would like to inform you that according to new policies of zomato if the order gets cancelled because of the customer being unresponsive at the time of delivery, a cancellation charge equal to the order amount is charged from the user as the food was already prepared/dispatched.

      As per the policies our delivery person always calls multiple times before he returns the order to the restaurant, and calls us for the updates, we too try to call you at the time of delivering several times before cancelling the order and asking the delivery boy to return the order to the restaurant, hence we won't be able to refund the amount.

      If you have any further queries or suggestions, please do write back to us or ping us on our chat support on the zomato app. We’re always happy to hear from you.

      I ve placed order of Rs182/-, then I cancelled the order. You have charge the penalty of same amount. How can be penalty be levied if the order was cancelled before prepration. I will complaint to Ministry.
      I ordered food from chil n pep restaurant and the food which was delivered was veg instead of non veg. I even complained on the zomato live but there was no response. The quality of thw food delivered was pathetic and i want my money back as the food was directly thrown into the dustbin.
      I'm a Zomato rider I'd is [protected] mera last 10 may ko accident hua tha jiske baare Mai Maine customer service ko informed bhi kiya tha phir bhi meri id block kar Di please help.

          Today evening i placed an order with kumar bakers in karnal, haryana via zomato. I wanted the delivery on my alternate address (Proof attached) which is chd city karnal. The order was accepted but the delivery boy went on my present location i. E sec 13 and grumbled that he would deliver it here only. The customer care person even shouted badly and refused to listen.. Instead of confessing their mistake they sent me a mail showing that they have levied a penalty.
          You are required to rectify your mistake as soon as possible and teach your boys how to behave with the customers..

            Hi team,
            My name is siddhi lodh, i have placed an order on 99pancakes from zomato with order id [protected] on 27th may 2019 at around 10:09 pm ist was cancelled by zomato delivery person named sachin. My order was placed with online transaction while placing order. He gave reason as he was not able to connect me but my phone was in full range and he didn't even tried to connect me. I am getting a message as i won't be getting refund. This is very unfair as my money was deducted and i have not received the order. I even tried to contact that person but he was not reachable. My kind request is to get me my refund back with full credits.

            I am a regular customer for Zomato, I ordered food from my home location Kadubeeshanhalli but your ordering man took my food to ecospace.

            what the hell this is and later he is arguing and denying me to deliver the food at my home location. He did not deliver at all. You charged huge money as well for this. Please reimbursed my money..

              On 19th may, i ordered from a restaurant namely, Jalandhar, using matzot. The payment failed, i don't know why, but the amount, which was of Rs.158 was deducted from my account. I contacted support in zomato app, talked to a executive, and he told that i will get the refund within 7 days. It's been 9 days now.I again contacted zomato, and now they are saying that the refund was initialized by there side and is complete but i didn't got any credit back to my account.Now, i don't know whom to contact. I have given the transaction history details screenshot for convenience. I hope to get help as soon as possible.

                I placed an order accidentally and called the restaurant to cancel my order they agreed and saud tbey wont prepare it. When i got into chat with zomato customer care they said the restaurant already started preparing so we cant refund you money, thats lies because i confirmed the same before and after the chat guy said that to me and the restaurant also confirmed they dint cook anything.

                  Dear sir,
                  We are being harassed by your delivery boys, on daily basis.
                  We are working at borivali west, chandavarkar road. There, your delivery boys sits near girgav katta restaurant. They block the gate and sits in group of 4-5 numbers and don't allow the people to go smoothly from that spot.
                  When we told them not to disturb the people, then they started talking wrong words.
                  All of them are wearing zomato t shirt, and doing all these acts.
                  If you feel that this is not good and they should be prevented to all such things, then please take some action to stop this kind of harassment, atleast by your staff members.
                  We will be thankful, if you tell them not to do all these acts.

                    I had placed order ([protected]) from zomato on 10th may. Th items delivered with missing quantity and un-usable way. Reported the same instantly and the executive said that they have initiated refund request. Then i had contacted the them for the same case on may 14th & talked to executive named mr. Rohit & he said that the previous refund request cancelled due to technical glitches & he has re-initiated it also it will credit in 48hrs. Then i contacted them on may 21st regarding the same. This time to they asked to wait for another day and said that he is changing the refund method to zomato credits due to my request. But these chats were removed by zomato. They aren't visible on zomato chat now. Totally they are cheating peoples with fraud service...
                    Don't go with them any more... Bloody cheaters..

                      My zomato account has been blocked completely. As soon as i login a popup error occurs stating "online ordering services has been disabled for your account". I am unable to access my account to view restaurants and avail my gold membership valid till december 2019. I had raised a complaint earlier but i haven't received any solution.

                      Please reactivate/enable my account as soon as possible.

                        I really don't understand why zomato blocked my account. Am even a zomato gold customer.
                        I have done nothing suspicious or things which may lead to suspension of the account.
                        Please help me out to get this problem resolved.
                        This is how they need to behave with their customers.
                        I have paid for the zomato gold and the term period has not yet finished.

                          I had placed an order via zomato on saturday, 25/5/2019. The order comprised of 2x full steamed rice, 1 chana masala and 1 chicken stew.
                          I was provided vatana wet bhaji instead of chana masala.
                          I forwarded the attached images to zomato care and they reply advising the correct item was delivered.
                          This is ridiculous. The hotel in question finds vatana and chana as the same. Additionally, zomato also thinks the same way.
                          It appears zomato is only here to deliver food, they don't care what they deliver. It won't be surprising, if a person orders dahi and instead receives lassi.

                            My name is abhishek gupta & i'm from roorkee, uk. I want to complain for zomato, i ordered some food from durga veg rasoi restaurant in roorkee & i paid 170 rupees via paytm, and after some time i called zomato delivery boy and zomato delivery boy has told me please cancel order because restaurant not prepared food after that i canceled my food. Now i didn't get my refund amount of 170/- and i also massage to zomato on website but they didn't get any response to me. I request to you please help me in this case.

                              On 19th april 2019, i visited a restaurant named southern chinese restaurant located in anna nagar east, chennai. It was listed under zomato gold. We visited as a group of 4, ordered 4 dishes of equal price and unlocked two zomato golds. The restaurant tried to create all sorts of problems for us by saying only one complimentary dish can be provided if the items are equally priced, 5 dishes have to be ordered for availing 2 zomato golds, etc. Finally, after clearly showing them the rules, they obliged to accept both zomato golds. Later, i reviewed this restaurant basically saying they create lots of problems for zomato gold customers. The restaurant replied to my review in a very rude and nasty tone without having the slightest clue about the rules. They keep saying "only 1 zomato gold can be availed if four dishes are equally priced." zomato chat support clearly mentioned "2 dishes will be free." (Screenshot attached). I uploaded this screenshot to my review and zomato immediately deleted my screenshot. I wrote 2 mails to zomato to which the reply has been the same - "we understand your problem. We are trying our level best to communicate with the restaurant." no action whatsoever has been taken till date. Zomato is directly encouraging unethical and rude behaviour against gold customers by not taking any action against this restaurant. Screenshots of my review are attached below. Please take action against this restaurant to prevent unethical behaviour against gold customers in the future.

                                Sir i ordered a food from zomato but when i open order i'm shocked that the stickers on the bowl from a different company uber eats i told them that i can't accept this order please take it back and refund me but they denied and force me for accept that. But sir i told them it's a big issue for me because anything can happend with food on that time anyone can eat my food or the restaurant can give me a old cancelled order from previous day's plz sir solve my problem this is denied for solve my problem.                                   I subscribed for 3 months gold membership on zomato. The app was set for auto renewal, which i was not aware of. Zomato just auto renewed and charged me a fee. This is an unethical way. The app can have various settings and all of that customer cannot possibly be aware. When i requested zomato they did not take any action.323253 is my membership id.

                                    I have ordered sweets from zomato and delivery boy doesn't deliver order saying that incorrect address. I have ordered items to delivery at my home location with proper house number. But customer service says me that gps location is different[although i have explicitly mentioned landmark in the address] but delivery boy had denide to deliver order [100% loss of time].

                                    And delivery boy at the same time abusing me on call in from of customer care executive but no response from him as well and at the same time, i got another order from zomato itself and one from uber on same time and same address, if the issue is with address then how is it possible for other rider and uber deliver boy, this is the delivery boy number [protected] and my order number [protected]

                                      I delivered food via zomato app dated may 19 at 5:37 from burger king worth rs 183. I waited for the order but when it was way over estimated delivery time i contacted the customer care they told the order was rejected as you were not reachable to the vallet. I told the executive that i have not received any call or so and no one has arrived at my address. I asked them to contact the vallet and ask him to come to the address as i was available and waiting for him. They denied the request saying no redelivery or refunds will be made.
                                      The restaurant is within 5 km viscinity from my address it was a clear day still no attempts were made to come to my address and deliver the food.
                                      The issue has been handled in an unprofessional, unethical and unmoral manner. Terms and conditions don't apply here because its a prepaid order so the onus lies on the delivery partner to reach the address if the customer could not be contacted. If he had arrived to my address i would have received the order but no one came.
                                      I urge you to look into the matter and provide with a affirmative resolution here

                                        I have ordered sweets from zomato and delivery boy doesn't deliver order saying that incorrect address. I have ordered items to delivery at taj santacruz. But customer service says me that gps location is different[although i have explicitly mentioned hotel name in the address] and canceled my order and doesn't refund a single penny[100% loss].

                                        Then, i called sweet shop and asked him whether i can come and collect my order. The shop owner response is "the delivery boy doesn't return the order to the shop. If you want sweets then you have to pay again". So, could you guys please tell why this? Why can't i collect order if app picked the wrong gps or mistakenly i chose incorrect location??
