I subscribed for 3 months gold membership on zomato. The app was set for auto renewal, which i was not aware of. Zomato just auto renewed and charged me a fee. This is an unethical way. The app can have various settings and all of that customer cannot possibly be aware. When i requested zomato they did not take any action.323253 is my membership id.

    I have ordered sweets from zomato and delivery boy doesn't deliver order saying that incorrect address. I have ordered items to delivery at my home location with proper house number. But customer service says me that gps location is different[although i have explicitly mentioned landmark in the address] but delivery boy had denide to deliver order [100% loss of time].

    And delivery boy at the same time abusing me on call in from of customer care executive but no response from him as well and at the same time, i got another order from zomato itself and one from uber on same time and same address, if the issue is with address then how is it possible for other rider and uber deliver boy, this is the delivery boy number [protected] and my order number [protected]

      I delivered food via zomato app dated may 19 at 5:37 from burger king worth rs 183. I waited for the order but when it was way over estimated delivery time i contacted the customer care they told the order was rejected as you were not reachable to the vallet. I told the executive that i have not received any call or so and no one has arrived at my address. I asked them to contact the vallet and ask him to come to the address as i was available and waiting for him. They denied the request saying no redelivery or refunds will be made.
      The restaurant is within 5 km viscinity from my address it was a clear day still no attempts were made to come to my address and deliver the food.
      The issue has been handled in an unprofessional, unethical and unmoral manner. Terms and conditions don't apply here because its a prepaid order so the onus lies on the delivery partner to reach the address if the customer could not be contacted. If he had arrived to my address i would have received the order but no one came.
      I urge you to look into the matter and provide with a affirmative resolution here

        I have ordered sweets from zomato and delivery boy doesn't deliver order saying that incorrect address. I have ordered items to delivery at taj santacruz. But customer service says me that gps location is different[although i have explicitly mentioned hotel name in the address] and canceled my order and doesn't refund a single penny[100% loss].

        Then, i called sweet shop and asked him whether i can come and collect my order. The shop owner response is "the delivery boy doesn't return the order to the shop. If you want sweets then you have to pay again". So, could you guys please tell why this? Why can't i collect order if app picked the wrong gps or mistakenly i chose incorrect location??

          I ordered Paneer Gravy Momos and received Chicken Gravy Momos instead. I am a Vegetarian and I was served a non Vegetarian order.
          I contacted the customer care and they are not even ready to refund the full amount of Rs 113/-

          This is ridiculous and is this how the customers are treated? Why do I pay for something I did not even eat?

            I have been a Zomato user for almost 6 years and have been a reviewer on their website. I have placed many orders for home delivery of food. However, recently, i got bad/ spoilt food in my order, which i reported.Also, everytime i informed these people of a bad order, i supported my claims with photos. Only after them being satisfied, they issued me refunds. Sometimes partially and sometimes complete. But they, without notice, blocked my account and stated in their website that because i had reported their food a few times, they blocked me. Is it my fault that i got burnt food? Or is it my fault that i got food cold? Why was my account blocked? Also, i had money in my account. I had so many reviews. Zomato could have disabled the account temporarily so as to resolve this issue but they blocked me out completely.

            Zoamto account blocked without any information or update.after an conversation ove mail they state that there is an multiple login or order cancellation issue which not the case with my account. I am not able to also Use my gold which I had purchased for 1800 rupees for an year and more than an Year subscription is pending.

              My zomato id is jineshshah04. Zomato has disabled my account for online ordering giving a reason that they find my account as suspicious account. I would like to inform that i had bad experience in 2 of my last orders for which i lodged complain but they didn't solve it within given time. So i lodged the complain again as my previous complain was not solved. But now they are telling that they have disabled my account because i lodged that complain again.

              Also i had rs.262 in my zomato wallet which i'm not able to use as it is blocked. This is cheating. None of my complains were fake. For both the complains, i also had shared live photos to provide evidence. And now, they are not replying also.

              My account is blocked by Zomato bcz I followed up on my issue were I was promised credit refund and that didn't happen I've sent multiple emails stil no response and my Zomato app is locked from one week
              I placed food order two times. Both times my money debited from account but order not placed. & now I'm not able to complaint about this. Coz zomato not provide that option.

                On 17th May, i place an order via zomato for Om sweets and paid in advance against the order.i keep on waiting for my sweets and when i called Om sweets to chevk whether my order is under delivery or not, they told me that it is cancelled by zomato .This is pathetic that they cancelled my order without even informing me . Thrn i checked the app and it showed that thr amount is charged as penalty .how can they charge 642/- my amount as penalty when the order is not rejected by me .

                  My name is Shristy. I am writing to you to register my accusation against the zomato delivery employee. I ordered two Pizza from Pizza square in Gurugram under the number [protected] on 20 May 2019 at 10.51 PM. It was my first ever order on Zomato. It was a defrauding ordeal.The delivery boy delivered the pizza and informed me about the 50% offer on the first order. He requested for my phone. I allowed the same. He charged me the entire money. He delivered the pizza too. However, he rejected the order on my Zomato account, which has now charged me a penalty. It was a cheating. I was harassed financially. I spoke to the manager of the Pizza square to inform the same. He has the record of the delivered pizza by them to the Zomato employee. The contact details of the employee are[protected] He has suggested me to write to you. I hereby request you to investigate the same and provide me with justice. The penalty is wrongly charged. I would be highly obliged to you for your arbitration.

                    I had this order with zomato. I paid the order amount online and later realized that the delivery address is incorrect and hence i wanted to cancel the order and reorder it because zomato people said me i cant change the address once the order is placed. When i asked for cancellation, they took my complete order amount as cancellation charges. I never got my refund back nor the food. It is so terrible, when i had similar kind of issue with swiggy, they delivered the order with change of address and not charged me anything extra for it. I believe that is what a customer experience means to them. And, i would always recommend swiggy in that matter.

                      May 23rd i ordered ice cream for my kids as i was busy in office. 5 variety of baskin robin ice cream order placed all full boxes as only prefer to buy boxes. Bricks. It was delivered in scoops rather than in boxes & scoop cups had br label but the ice cream quality & taste was too bad that some of the ice cream was stinking. My kids unaware abt it ate most of the ice cream, when i return late i saw this and was very irritated & surprised. But it was already night to i avoided the matter but to his of my tolerance one of my kid fallen sick & has food poisoning due it. Now when i trying to contact zomato helpline there is no response. Where to lodge the complaint of fraud, breach of trust, danger to life, mental trauma, sickness in family, child suffer. If these only company want to beg then pls earn by begging we don't mind but please stop these cheapest method of earning money.in place of baskin robin ice cream charged 1100 bugs local cheap staled ice cream been delivered.

                        I have selected the adress to my home but the food was delivered wrong, and the zomato wallet z so rude n the company also supported the wallet and asking the customer to collect at his place. Actually i've selected my home address but i ordered the food from another place which is addagutta. Near bachpan school but neither the food was delivered to my place or to the pin location instead the wallet says that it shows my location to south india mall... How could this happen.. When i asked this he was so rude... And even he did not cancel the order also instead he dropped my call

                          I ordered food item from zomato, and due to poor quality of software, location was not set properly, i even written full address, but zomato only considered wrong address, and he rejected my order and fined full amount penalty, i want refund.

                          Zomato needs to update their software because locations can not be saved properly with all reachable locations, i just did not get delivered my food even after correct location of my college.

                          That was just 2 km difference after wrong and misplaced location on map, but still did not get delivered and he rejected my order.

                          Please help me to get my refund.

                            I ordered something from zomato but the delivey boy said that he is unable to deliver my order because of that my order get cancelled... I didn't cancel the order the delivery boy is not able to reach the mentioned address so my order get cancelled by zomato, so even though i haven't cancelled the order it was cancelled by zomato... As i'm again reordering the zomato is showing i have to 1st pay the cancellation amount... Why i have to pay the cancellation amount as it was delivery boy's fault that he is not able to reach at the mentioned address.

                              Hello,

                              Every time cancel the order at last minute. After checking with restaurant understand driver not available to deliver.

                              I fail to understand why one will use zomato? Kindly explain. If you can't run the business why you do such business. Its mainly into food wherein people are hungry and expected food on time.

                              I think i should delete your app from my phone and spread this across my friend and colleague at my company where i work. I am sure when you will lose a big chunk of the customers, you will realize the importance.

                                On 16 th amy i ordered the food from bharat hotel worth 484.6 rs. For first time i placed a order through upi where money was deducted from my account. After that there was a message below my order stating my payment was failed. So i book the same order but this time i booked it through cash on delivery. I received the order through cod after that, then suddenly there was change in my first order as well. I immediately message the zomato representative through zomato chat regarding this issue, as the issue was from your end. But, he was unable to help me then i ask him to cancel that order, on which he replied that i can't get my money back. This is going to be so confusing. Kindly refund me that money because the problem wasn't from my side.
                                I have also mailed them on which i got reply like, i will get refund in 6 - 7 day's. But still i didn't get my money back.

                                  My zomato account blocked for online order with reason “that multiple accounts are linked to your phone number “ i am not sure how can be one number used for multiple accounts because user can’t creat other new account with the existing mob num in app.

                                  If anyone created, that is failure of zomato controls not account user’s. I already paid good amount for gold subscription and now they blocked my account. This service provider doesnt hv call center nd if you email forget about resonse for weeks.

                                    On may 23rd night 8.30. I order a briyani 1000ml in almass restaurant velachery. But i paid a full amount...in return i received a only half the portion like only 250ml remaining 750ml they didn't delivery me. And i contacted the zomato support and they said they will add zomato credits ₹100 in my wallet in next 24hours. After the 24hrs i opened my zomato app it's says they blocked my account my suspicious activity. So i passed so many emails to zomato... All are waste. They not even reply to my messages and email. And my money so not refunded. When i ordered a food that time i was so hungry but i have received nothing like 250ml and they got my money. The only money i am having i have paid now i am not having any money worst service worst app. Please refund my money and i am not gonna use this app anymore please do something

                                      I placed order for cake from meera bakery on zomato app. Amount of rs. 338 was deducted and with in few min, i noticed their was some issue with the order and tried to cancel and reorder. I tried contacting zomato on their customer care no, and online live chat. On call i could not get any response. On chat i messaged for cancellation and refund. I see some order is cancelled and amount is not being refunded. After waiting for 15 min, i got message on chat from their agent that they regret for inconvenience and could not refund. I asked them to resume the order and deliver it. They denied even for that. Zomato is looting & cheating customers by blocking their amount and misleading using robotic chat mechanisms.

                                        The other day your delivery boy did not deliver the food, misbehaved as well because i couldn't provide change...
                                        And when i pay beforehand you cancel the order.. This is unethical...
                                        We can go to the consumer forum this time..
