Zomato totally ruined my weekend with pathetic food and even worst service. The food i got from the restaurant was raw which was totally waste. Even after spending an hour on their app and trying to convince there food was bad and uneatable they offered me 30 rupees coupon which is both laughable and sad. So i am putting this comment for everyone to know that zomato didn't have any responsibility for the food that got delivered through their app and i will put my comments on every social media possible either they apologies in the proper way and refund my money.

    This relates order [protected]. I had ordered 3 different items.

    Of which i got 2 items correctly order.

    The 3rd item - the quantity was incorrect. Also, the item requested was not delivered and instead was delivered incorrectly.

    I contacted your support team on chat today around 9 pm - 19th may. The agent never addressed the wrong item issue, ignored multiple requests to speak to a senior, never gave his name inspite of multiple requests.

    This is so frustrating. Request you to please look into this.

      I have placed an order from Zomato on 19/5/19 and cancelled the order at the same time and my payment was done by the paytm wallet. I have contacted the Zomato support to initiate my refund but they are not initiating any refund amount instead of refunding my amount they deducted the full amount in the form of penalty. I need my refund amount back.

          Order was cancelled as the given address was wrong. Later after 20 minutes got a call from zomato stating "your order will be cancelled and amount will be refunded back in 5 6 business days". I agreed. Its been a week and there is no refund seen either into my source account or zomato credits. I wasn't aware that whole of order amount will be compensated as penalty. This is very strange to hear. If zomato is taking the whole money then why should the executive call me and tell amount will be refunded. This is like cheating the customer. Will need my refund asap.

            When i trying to place an order it shows like your account has been disabled. You can't order anything like that i don't know why this happened. Actually i raise a complaint on one food order and zomato people assisted with me and resolved my concern and that next day i opened the account for ordering them it shows like disabled.               Why are we having 2 different prices for same curry in restaurant and in app.

              I am highlighting it a issue of orbis restaurant brookefield.

              Most of curries prices in app are minimum 35 rs extra compare to restaurant.

              Attached photo shows the proof of prices under main course. Referring to one of item kaju masala its price mentioned as 185 but actual is 150 at restaurant.

              You can compare it by logging in zomato app and follow below :
              1. Click on “go out” option.
              2. Search for orbis restaurant brookefield.
              3. Open restaurant link and navigate to menu.

                One of the worst food delivery app is zomato
                I ordered food from "mamata restorent" yesterday and received spoiled worst smelly food.
                Called delivery guy to check and take it back he said he is very far cannot reach me out and he even said that restorent is one of the worst and suggested me to contact customer care.

                I contacted customer care and had a complain and that worst servicing guy suggested me to adjust me with the spoiled food.
                After long conversion he asked me to share pic of the food and i did it. And after that he gave me 28 rs in my credit but the food was of 115 rs.
                I demand for my full refund and he said me to drop a mail.

                Today morning i tried to chat with them and again that guy is asking me to share the pic of food, which is in the garbage.

                Around 15 min wait to chat with the worst agents who did not support in any thing.

                One of the worst service i received.

                I want my full refund to my account and an apologies mail from the person who had a chat with me who said me to adjust with the spoiled food.

                  I placed 2 orders on zomato order:[protected] with subway and got calls simultaneously form the valets, while the time i received one call, the second valet canceled my order, in fact, i called him right after and requested him to deliver it but he refused to deliver the order and told me that he canceled it, on top of that they have charged cancellation fee equivalent to the order value.
                  I am a regular customer of zomato and deeply hurt by the service it provides today. If this is the way they are going to deal with the customer then i will not order anything in the future and also make sure to spread this wrongdoing in my circles.

                  I highly request you to refund me my full amount.

                    The comapny disabled my account from online ordering because i had a argument with them on my last order as they provide me the ordered item in which there is a piece of bone. When i complained them, they said that they didn't find that and keep telling me that they can't do anything but in the picture that i shared with them clearly showed that there is a piece of bone in chicken fried rice.

                      When you guys cut the money from customers accounts, immediately without delivering the food, why should customers we sit for 15 days to get their money back.? The purchases might happen through "paylater" apps like simpl or lazypay, or credit cards. That is borrowed money customers need to return. Zomato is not only making it difficult to be loyal to them but also affecting the relations with other banking services. How is this a good business model.?

                        I ordered food from one account. At that time, money was deducted, but order not placed. So i repeated the order from other account. And same thing happened again. Then after 2-3 minutes, both orders were placed. So i cancelled one order within a minute. But zomato customer service people were telling that, they can't refund the amount. This is the mistake by your side, not from my side. And i cancelled 1 among the 2 order within a minute. But still you were not refunding my amount. Very disappointed with this.

                          Dear consumer complaints team,

                          I have ordered yesterday evening, after the order, i have received a call from zomato executive and they tell me your address is wrong and you order not deliverd.

                          And after call discussion, i try to call delivery boy, they also told me your order was because zomato team call him and cancel your order. I have paid online through paytm.

                          After some time i have place order cash on delivery my order reach the same location. That time i have not received any call from zomato.

                          On zomato chat i request a refund they told me that is not possible, arrange your complaint on [protected]@zomato.com.

                          No companies or person take action about these small complaints.
                          Zomato is a fraud with too many people what government does not take any action against these complaints.

                          I request you kindly take action against zomato so that they refund not delivering orders.

                          Zomato too many fraud cases available online.. No action on it.

                            I have ordered the food but at the time of payment after entering the otp, the page shows the transaction has been declined However the amount of Rs 95/= has been deducted from my account.                               I received an incorrect item in my order and i informed regarding the same to zomato support with the pic and they said we have initiated 60 credits to ur wallet will be credited in 24-48 hours after 48 hours i again ask them regarding this again they said to wait for more 24 hours and same thing happen after 48 hours and at the end they blocked my account, i want you to take strict action against zomato as they are practising fraudulent activities with there customers.

                                I had ordered my dinner from zomato and the time of arrival of order was 54 min. But after 2 hours the order did not come and the hotel staff did not respond and had switched off his no. So i had to cancel my order which i had already paid through paytm app. Somehow the order came at midnight 12:00 and i refused to take it. I need my money returned back to me as soon as possible.

                                  I have ordered the food and paid online the amount but the food didn't received to me. I have been tried to contact with customer service through zamato app chat box but it shows some kind of error on that screen.

                                  So how can we reach? Dropped mail also but no reply on the same.

                                  I am not happy with the services and this was the worst experience with zamato. I want my money back as early as possible.

                                      Orderd food at 9:39pm. Was told wil be delivered latest by 10:24pm. Kept calling since 10:30 till 11:15pm. No firm reply from restaurant. Finally had to order from elsewher as kids were hungry. Rider called at 11:17pm asking about the way. Told him to cancel bit stil pursued to deliver. Said already ordered frm elsewhere. But stil came to doorstep, kept insisting to deliver. Said to cancel the order. Please refund my amount. Horrifying experience. Kids were hungry for more than 2 hrs

                                        I order for food at zomato app on 17th may 2019 near about 8.42 pm. The restaurant accepted the order and a zomato valet was assigned as usual. My order was on its way but suddenly as o check the app they said it has been delivered to you. I immediately contacted the zomato customer care in the zomato app and asked them to look after it. They said that the order has been cancelled. By that time it was already 10.10 pm. I placed the same order at another restaurant. The restaurant accepted the order but this time the valet was not assigned. Once again i contacted the customer care the said me to wait. I had to wait for 30 mins and then finally a valet was assigned. I was waiting for my order but it was taking too long so i asked them to look for the status. They informed me that the order has been cancelled and in return the gave me 13 credits. My question is that the zomato app doesn't allow the customers to cancel the order but a zomato valet or the people who work for zomato can cancel it and in return we just get few credits. I waited for 3 hours for my food and the end result was nothing. If zomato cannot deliver an order then i guess it's the basic manner to just inform its customers about it so that they can look for alternative.
