I had placed an order for food on Zomato and provided the driver with my WhatsApp contact details and an alternative number in case he could not reach me. However, I did not receive any calls from the driver when he arrived, and when I checked the chat feature in the Zomato app, he asked me to contact him on his WhatsApp number. I tried calling him several times, but he did not respond. I used the app's tracking feature to monitor his location and found that he left within minutes of reaching my location, and he cancelled my order.
I immediately informed the Zomato support team about the situation and requested their assistance. However, they informed me that they could not deliver the order as it had already been cancelled. Furthermore, they informed me that a refund was not possible because it was our mistake. This was frustrating because I had ordered food for my sick family, and now we were left without food, and I had not received a refund for my order.
In summary, I ordered food from Zomato, but the driver did not deliver it and cancelled the order. Despite my attempts to contact the driver and seeking assistance from Zomato's support team, I was unable to receive a refund for my order.
