I was informing zomato from 18 april that please hold my payment till my new bank details get updated, still more than 10 times of mail i sent they do nothing they deposit my money in my blocked bank account. Zomato assign am veer singh also mail from my side to change my account no and hold payment but zomato ignore it and blocked my 2000 plus money.

    I ordered food from zomato app, but by mistake i cancel the order and i was charged a penalty of rs 742, (I. E. 100%), payment was done online in good faith,

    I started chatting with customer care just after 5 min when i realized my mistake and they kept saying since food was prepared they are charging me full penalty but when i ask for food they don't want to deliver any more.
    Then they start saying delivery boy is not available to which i also gave option, that i can go and pick the food directly then they stopped responding.
    Also i checked with restaurant and they said if zomato allow they can send food but zomato will not allow to resend food.

    When i am asking customer care executive to send me food as it was cancelled by mistake, they are not willing to give me refund nor they want to deliver food.
    They just want to delay response and waste my time.

    After waiting for 2 hour my problem was not solved and we were left with no food at 11 pm.

    This is clearly a fraud and mental harrashment from zomato.
    I have attached many screenshot to show how zomato replied and kept us waiting.

    I am really shocked by this incident and still can't believe that such incident are tolerated today as well.
    This is pathetic service from zomato, kindly look into the matter.

      I am madhavi i have ordered on zomato on 11may 2019 11:45pm on behrouz biryani, my was accepted but due to some issues my order was cancelled by the restaurant but the zomato showing it as if the order was delivered by the restaurant the refund was not even intiated i contacted zomato but was not response from them, iam really disappointed is this the customer service provided by famous companies, at least i need my refund to be intiated.

        Dear sir,
        I'm a regular customer at zomato foodelivery app.
        Today's incident really shocked me.
        They intentionally cancelled my online prepaid order and refused to refund my money.
        I tried to contact them but they have blocked me.
        Their auto replied (Bot chat) reason is as i was not reachable through phone they have cancelled it and as food has been prepared, it can not be refund.
        As i was blocked instantly i can not request them to redeliver also.

        Order id is-[protected]-biriyani and side dishes

        However,
        I was fully available on my phone and
        As soon as i have got the not reachable message from zomato i have contacted the delivery person and
        He refused to deliver at my location as i was not reachable.
        This is totally wrong, the snap and notification time and phone signal (Please see the phone time also) will tell you they are just telling a lie.
        They hardly might be waited for 5min and left for the other place. I have no missed call in my phone also. I have also request him to redeliver but the delivery boy declined.
        Even if i'm not available via phone they have my full address including floor no with well known landmarks plus their gps help. If he wants to really deliver he can easily ask someone after reaching the place.
        But he did not.
        Could you please take stern steps against them and arrange for a refund.

          I placed an order through zomato for which i paid online through my debit card. The app says the order was delivered but i never got the order. I spoke to the delivery boy, he was very rude by the way, who confirmed that he made the delivery. I have no food and my money is deducted. The delivery boy must've given the food to someone else. I tried contacting zomato in regards to this but no response from them. Please help me resolve this issue.

            I ordered food not one delivered and mentioning its delivered.

            no one responding over care number.

            am i fool here sitting here calling you people.

            i waited for 2 hours. there is no option for support.i tried all possible to reach out to them but no result at the end finally delivery guy added like order is delivered even thought it is not delivered.

            there is chat box provided on app but no one is responding there too.

            what the ### !

            is this the way ?

              Ordered lazeez chicken biryani from behrouz biriyani, kr puram, bangalore using zomato food delivery app. Did not get chicken piece in biriyani. Not able to reach restaurant number. Not able to reach zomato customer care. It is trying to connect multiple numbers but none are getting connected. No resolution provided on chat support, only apologies. No refund given.

                I ordered burger from zomato which coast 188 and because of some reason i cancelled the order under 1:30 sec and now if i order something from zomato. Zomato is asking for cancellation fees. Zomato is asking for cancellation fee even food was not prepared. According to zomato policy customer is able to cancel the order with in 5 minuits (May be the policy is)

                  I have ordered food numerous times from zomato.in one of the order which i placed refering to bahar restaurant, i found a hair in the food for which i sent the photograph to the representative via whats app. For this order the amount was refunded, after few days i see that my account was blocked. There has been no response or information why it was blocked.

                    My zomato account was blocked with out any reason. For me zomato is only the source for online food delivery can you please activate it back. I have mailed more than five times but i didnt get any valid response from them.how can they block a good costomer i have ordered over 100 times till now approximately. with out any reason how can they block a good costomer with good attitude please activate my account as soon as possible

                      I have been charged wrongly the amount of 150 for no mistake of mine and your customer support is not responding and they have really pathetic service, your app picked up wrong current location and after placing the order when i canceled it charged me complete order amount and i was not provided with the option to change the delivery location and its the problem on their side that they picked up the wrong location as my current location, my current location was home and they picked up office address and now they are saying my gps wasn't enabled if i wasn't enabled then how did it pick any location

                        Zomato blocked my account without any valid reason and i had 94 zomato credits in my account so please see to it...
                        Help me in unblocking my account.
                        You should care about the customers which zomato did not and i am not able to place the order. Please help me out of it...
                        What's the problem with the company that they have blocked my account... I am waiting for my account to be resolved..

                          Kindly let me know why my order gets cancelled, just as my number was not answered, your delivery personnel rejects the delivery and sends it to some department, where no recovery possible.
                          Kindly let me clear as i was in ameeting, my cellphone was not in with me. The location was clearly mentioned as ajmera electrotech llp. If the parcell amount is paid, i do not see any reason, why the delivery man did not drop the parcel at the gate of the above premises. I hereby request not to penalise me of any damn reason which i am ain't liable for.
                          So kindly revert the amount as i am a regular follower of zomato and always review giver.

                              Zomato delivery boy.. Sagar rajendra gare[protected] declines food delivery n said that joshi upahar gruh restaurant is busy in making other orders.. They cant fullfil you order in 1-2 hours. I will mark your order as delivered and refund your payment through paytm.. Order from somewere else. But now he blocked me.. And didnt return my money.

                                I have placed an order from jay malhar restaurant.

                                Order was placed on 2:08pm and now it is 3:34 pm. Still i have not received my order yet.

                                When i checked the order status it is showing order has been delivered.

                                Also when i tried to contact your chat support i didn't get any response from them.

                                I tried to contact your delivery boy almost 8 times each and every time i could only hear phone switched off.

                                  I have made an order from zomato and made the payment online and my order was on way but then it showed order received in my app but i havn't received my order then i tried calling the agent named 'jagan' and he is not receiving any of my call and i called him more than 15 times in last 20 mins.
                                  I need my money back and take strict action against the guys like 'jagan' who cheats.

                                    My order #[protected] was cancelled by Zomato because I was obeying traffic rules and could not answer my phone. The delivery person came to my house with the pizzas and refused to give it stating that the order was cancelled.
                                    I did not cancel the order so how can Zomato decide to cancel my order without my permission and then refuse to give the food and also my money.

                                    Finally after persistently asking Zomato to return the money that they took without my permission, they have returned it. No mail from Zomato on this but I checked my account and found out. So I urge other users to keep pushing till you get your money back if it was taken from you wrongfully.

                                    Zomato executive called and refused to take responsibility for their actions. They don't just rob customers by cancelling their orders without any intimation because of their incompetent delivery employees who cannot even locate an address that is available in writing and on GPS but they also put the blame on their customers. They manipulate their policy to such an extent that there is no respect for it anymore. Customers need to fight for their right and not let such companies rob them because of the company's policy that helps them commit such crimes.

                                      This is to bring to your notice my last zomato order was not delivered and the agent who had called was extremely rude.

                                      He said that address i have given was wrong, i have placed more than 50 orders from the same address there were no issues.

                                      I want a full refund as it was never delivered, this order was for someone who was recuperating from accident and was urgent, i just wish your executives were more helpful during call, they are extremely rude.

                                      Hope you will do the needful.
