I ordered food from zomato app, but by mistake i cancel the order and i was charged a penalty of rs 742, (I. E. 100%), payment was done online in good faith,
I started chatting with customer care just after 5 min when i realized my mistake and they kept saying since food was prepared they are charging me full penalty but when i ask for food they don't want to deliver any more.
Then they start saying delivery boy is not available to which i also gave option, that i can go and pick the food directly then they stopped responding.
Also i checked with restaurant and they said if zomato allow they can send food but zomato will not allow to resend food.
When i am asking customer care executive to send me food as it was cancelled by mistake, they are not willing to give me refund nor they want to deliver food.
They just want to delay response and waste my time.
After waiting for 2 hour my problem was not solved and we were left with no food at 11 pm.
This is clearly a fraud and mental harrashment from zomato.
I have attached many screenshot to show how zomato replied and kept us waiting.
I am really shocked by this incident and still can't believe that such incident are tolerated today as well.
This is pathetic service from zomato, kindly look into the matter.
Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
