Hi,

By mistakenly i had placed two orders and immediately i realized it. I called restaurant, asked him to consider only one order and they agreed upon. Then i cancelled order from my zomato app via chat.

I haven't got any refund stating that they we consider full amount as cancellation fee which is highly disappointing and kind of fraud.

How can cancellation fee is equal to full order amount.

    This is to inform you that I am very unhappy this time with the service of Zomato.

    I ordered food from the restaurant, address was confirmed by the delivery agent and later he simply denied to deliver since the location was not showing as per GPS. However in the same address multiple times I have ordered from Zomato and the order got delivered successfully.

    Secondly the customer support advisor simply called and informed about the order being cancelled but did not even listened to me and hung up.

    Thirdly the chat executive also did not even acknowledged my issue, simply jumped to conclusion. Also his response was very slow.

    I'm really unhappy with the service from delivery agent, customer care agent who cancelled the order and also from the customer support executive.

      I ordered my food in zomato yesterday and paid via google pay rs.170.. My order was not delivered.. But in app it was updated order is delivered... I called delivery boy.. He has kept forward call setting and restaurant says no order in dat name... Zomato said to wait 24-48 hours.. So they will refund the amount.. Now they have texted we spoke to your delivery boy he has delivered your order.. So issue solved.. What nonsense is this..?? No customer care no.. Response.. So y u keep online payment mode to cheat and deduct money and play game so..?? Worst i need a solution..

        I place orde from zomato on 4 may they not delivery by zomato and cancelled by zomato and said ur address is wrong but on same day after i place 3 other order on same address they delivered successfully by zomato. This all thing i explain to zomato by mail and chat support center but they not ready to give refund even throug many mail and chat supoort center. I also mail them for taking complain for order not deliverd by zomato but they also not taken complain redarding product not deliverd to customer and i also said new delivery excutive appoint for product deliverd i[censored]r excutive not know area but they also not appoint and not product deluverd and zomato excutive cancelled the product and not refund 100rs yet. And also request for refund but they said we can't give refund and ur money adjusted by cancellation fee. I also explain them customer not cancelled product they ready to take product but ur excuctive not deliverd the prodcut. So kindly refund whole money 100rs immedetely. Till now 6 may they not refund and not take any complain and not give complain no to me even after many mail and chat support. They totally support misbehviour delivery excutive who cheat with customer and company not delivery the product and wrongly chage to customer in the name of cancellation fee and not refund the money to customer..

          On 29 april 2019 i ordered food from zomato (India) but due to some reasons they cancelled my order (Id-[protected]) and processed a refund of rs 150/- with refund id [protected]. But till date i have not received the refund.

          I tried to contact your customer care team through e-mail and chat, but every time i disappointed by your customer support. Its high time now please do the needful asap

            Hello team,
            I placed an order on box8 via zomato which got cancelled by their team as they came to know that they didn't serve my area. I have also received an sms from box8 team that they have reversed the payment but zomato is filing to do the same. They are arguing that their system shows the order has got delivered even after sending a screenshot pf cancellation message from box8 team. They also stopped responding to my emails. This leaves me with no choice.

              I ordered from a partner restaurant of zomato
              Order id [protected].
              The order got canceled and i am still chasing zomato for my refund.

              They are not at all bothered about anything as nobody responds to reply on social media pages.
              Customer care mentioned never gets answered.
              Bots on chat don't even understand the issue.

              Was surprised to see a lot of complaints on social media of the same sort and even surprised me more than they don't bother at all.

                Hi Team, Yesterday, I ordered the food from Zomato mobile app and the restaurant name is : Shanmukha, HSR layout branch. Shanmukha hotel mobile number : 08025722424. I ordered 3 biryanies and other items.But I got only 2 biryanies in the packed bag.I already informed to shanmukha restaurant manager regarding this issue and He told me that please call or mail zomato customer care and raise complaint so that they will call me and ask the issue so i will tell to zomato managers and they will credit one biryani amount to your account like that he told me yesterday so that is the reason I raised this complaint.                     With regards to your concern, please be informed that zomato doesn't allow / support cancellation of the orders post confirmation by the restaurant. It is so because once the order is confirmed, restaurant starts working on / preparing the order.

                    Since the order was cancelled on your request and hence, cancellation charges equal to the order value have been levied and we won't be able to refund the same.

                      This is kundan singh as i am very frustrated with zomato services and this is why i am writing this to you.
                      First of all zomato riders who asked me to cancel the order irrespective of the fact th that cancellation amount was the total booking amount when someone cancel the order.

                      Fin addition why would someone cancel the order if the the complete amount is the cancellation amount, i asked just after the cancellation that please deliver the order. That can be verified from the conversation that i had with zomato chat support. I also informed zomato management that refund my money other wise i am going to write an email to consumer court if zomato is is not going to refund the money however they didn't respond and ignored totally.

                      I would request consumer court to look into this issue also i would request the zomato to give me a call on my mobile number that is[protected] and refund my money

                        My zomato account got blocked and no prompt response from the customer care service.. They asked me to chat but app got blocked and how can i chat with them..

I called to delivery boy but he refused to deliver my good and said thay he cabcelled it. Now they are not refunding my money nor did they deliver the food.                               1) food that came with the package, was found with fly in the salad,

                              2) earlier also the quality of chicken that came up from this restaurant, was stale and was smelly, the owner rahul mehta gave this reason that the fridge was not working since there was no electricity that day. So he provided me with the same order and this time too the order came with same quality of chicken, this time he gave me this reason that he himself was not there in the shop, and then asked me order food free of cost whenever i feel free.

                              3) another day i found the outer covering of boiled egg in my rice during my next order. But it seems these people are so arrogant and stubborn that they don't bother about the quality.

                              When i had 3rd encounter, i called him i asked him the reason but he says he generally doesn't be in his outlet. But does it really bothers whether his presence will affect the quality of food or not? Moreover he abused and said -"itni dikkat hai to order mat kia kar khane baar baar phone kar ke jija ko kyun pareshan kar raha hai", and he argued over that saying i ll pay you your amount and will paytm you. So this is the way the owner talks seems they should be taught the subject of crm before onboarding them to zomato or any such platforms. Is this just because zomato has given them the privilege to provide food of devoid quality and then on finding such issues by customer, return them the amount of food. Isn't this kind of act on repeated times is actually causing to degrade the image of zomato..?

                              No, I am not at all considering this as as solution, Just repayment of my money back will not help, It was involved with 3-4 orders, and in the last order, I was replied in a very unprofessional manner and I was abused by the owner, I cannot just demand the repayment, I want strict action against the Owner and the restaurant. This has happened 3-4 times and cannot be neglected at all, just by repayment of money is not the solution or resolving of issue, my food got wasted, money got wasted, I was abused over phone by the vendor owner. So just sending me back the amount cannot be considered as a solution. Moreover it should not be removed from the Interface untill and unless right steps and actions has not been taken by the Zomato.

                              Zomato has just repayed me the order value of one order where as the issue was involved with 3-4 of my orders.
                              Moreover, i was abused and talked in a very unprofessional and unethical manner by Mr Rahul Mehta, the Owner of Punjabi Food Hut. By just paying me the order amount this kind of attitude cannot be resolved. This can happen to anyone, any customer, finding a fly, Outercovering of boiled egg in rice, and selling of stale chicken shows that the owner is only concerned about the money value that he generates out of the help of Zomato and he is least bothered about the quality of food. Therefore his license should immediately be cancelled and should not be given to any such vendors. Repaying of money to me will not at all solve this issue, It seems as of I am being bribed by getting my order amount back, but the problem still persists. The restaurant will still sell the same quality of food, so whats about that ? I feel pity on vendors for this kind of attitude and arrogant behavior by asking customer like me to do whatever i can as said by him. But this has to stop, so I seek justice for customers who are offered such food but they are reluctant to complain which is because I guess this kind of solution where zomato just pays back the amount and they consider the matter is over, I am against this. I request you to cancel his license on zomato and his restaurant and of possible a surprise quality check of his restaurant.

                                I have ordered from s and s punjabi tadka chandigarh. Due to some promo code issues i changed my mind and cancelled the order. But rs. 265 deduct from my account as cancellation fee. I cancelled my order within ten seconds. As without getting any order and due to heavy amount as cancellation fee i have to bear a mental stress.
                                Kindly do the best. It's not my fault. Why i pay so much as cancellation fee.

                                      Please unblock my account as i have credits in them.
                                      And i have complaint about right things.
                                      This is not the way to unblock my account.
                                      I have credits which is 95rs.
                                      And if you attached restraunt which gives bad foods customer will complain.
                                      Because of this zomato blocked me and any one order food for there parents and it will not taste good which generally good always if we eat same thing at restaurants so why would i not complain.

                                        A message was received on 21st april'19 for refund against order id [protected] on zamato for rs. 1085.46. This order was not executed and hence the above was initiated. Though 7 working days was mentioned for the refund the same has not been credited back into the account. Pl. Respond on the status and when the same will be refunded. A confirmation in this regard is expected.
