I ordered food online for my mother's birthday for home delivery today[protected]. The food was. Supposed to be delivered by 6:47pm. I called the driver around 6:55pm asking where the delivery was and he said he could not locate my address and could not reach me on my phone and thats why the order got canceled. Now zomato is saying no refund as customer was unresponsive. I then informed the restaurant that i did not get the food who said that its out for delivery from zomato and they haven't been told about any cancelation. The delivery guy then says its not his job to find my house. If i am ordering for home delivery how can you cancel an order without even reaching my home for home delivery all. This in less than 5 minutes.

I am aghast by how easily this is becoming a ploy for delivery agents as they don't even have to go to anyone's house now. They can just simply try calling and finding number busy say canceled and then keep all the money.

Please specify where you tell your customers; that you can do this. If not please provide refund asap. Otherwise i will be forced to file case with consumer courts on how you are taking advantage o[censored]nsuspecting consumers.

I hope you will do this positively.

    Few days ago i ordered smthng ftom zomato they blocked my account when i spoke to a rep thr chat he was rudehe didnt bother to check spoil good and threatened me i raised complaint later they blocked my device and all other accounts associated i published article in india times i was been contacted by their social media team also recived email from mr goyal still they r not contacting me they might not know who i m but zo ato wd sugfer a lot now it can be its end bcz i do informed them i hav celebrites as friend one post from them zomato is gone its on high stakes now

      I ordered food from dessi cuppa at south kalamassery worth of 290 rupees on 16 th april 2019. Its order id was [protected]. But i didn't get the food. When i contacted the shop, it is informed that my order was failed to deliver due to lack of the items ordered. I didn't get my money refunded back even 7 working days are over. Please do the necessary!!

        Zomato was a trust worthy but now thy have have become so cheating
        It’s so poor service
        They are so cheating.
        Zomato has blocked my account and there is 480rs in my wallet that too i am not able to redim. I need a proper answer and i need my money back in my bank account.

        I ordered on zomato. Gave full payment by card and after a lot of wait time the agent called me and said that my order has been cancelled because my number was not reachable. I am very much disappointed by this type of behaviour. My special occasion has been spoiled.Now i just need my money back.

          I have zomato account on my name and also gold membership. My account got blocked recently. When i have asked zomato for the reason in particular, i got the reply saying it may be because of suspicious activity (Grounds are subsequent order cancellation, frequent reports of poor quality and few merchants complaint). I haven't cancelled any zomato online order after placing nor misused it.
          If zomato really feels that my account should be blocked, i respect their administrative guidelines but i have requested them to mention the appropriate reason for doing so other than multiple answers.
          Zomato mentioned that i am unable to use the online ordering platform.
          I have mentioned them that i am unable to use the zomato gold account of mine. I have urged them to refund me the money i have invested in the purchasing of gold membership on pro-rata basis.
          Zomato personnel are replying me saying i dont have the gold membership and i replied saying i am ready to share them my account details, promotional mails received.
          But no reply was given by them further on this.

              Yesterday 28 april 2019 order from annapurana bhoj, raj nagar ghaziabad, after some time i have massage your order not reachable due to not received call. But i dont have any call from zomato. I call immediate zomato and annapurana bhoj, delivery boy say cancelled from your side. Zomate not refund me and say one thing repeat you did not pic a call.                 I placed an order from dry & fry through zomato. Order no :[protected]
                I have following issues with the order, i placed today 27- april -2019 at 02:26 pm
                1. I ordered for2 mutton nawabi masala biryani & chicken stew, butter naan and instead i have been found chicken nawabi biryani. I ordered for a costlier option and they have served me with a different dish.

                I am trying to talk to zomato customer care and have posted my query there, but they are not even replying me back at the time. Customer care reply me after 30 min. I need a refund of my order or the exact order that i had placed.
                Zomato's services with time is getting obsolete and not replying us anywhere just shows how inhuman they have gradually turned to their customer base. You have completely devastated the dinner and also looted us with your cheating.

                  I placed an order on the 9th of april 2019 at mcooozaaa mira road. The amount was 500 rupees. After entering my otp i received a msg from my bank that 500 had been deducted from my ac, but instead of showing my order summary the page went blank and some sort of error message appeared on the top of my screen. Which is why i do not have a order id no. So i placed an another order from another place so i could talk to the zomato through the chat. The person said that it will take 7 to 8 working days. It was the 20th of april and i had still not received the refund, so i spoke to another zomato chat person and that person told me the finance team had been informed and it will be refunded as soon as possible and then asked me to send my bank statement after complaining why i had not received the money since the last time i complained. The second person was completely ignorant and could not respond to simple questions, if you have a way of reading the chat please do. I placed the order on the 9th today is the 29th and i have still not received the refund. And because the screen went blank i can not provide you with an order no. Please return the amount.

                  I got a order from masala room. I got half order they gave me half assed answer. Also when I asked as I didn't received the complete order please refund my money but they didn't agree to that as well. So I didn't get full service and I spent approx 200 of my credits. They totally denied proper service
                  The food I ordered was stale . Zomato is not refunding the full amount. I ordered from mewad and food was stale i need refund

                    I ordered food from shah ghouse, hyderabad on zomato on 14th of april, 2019. But the order got declined after 30 mintues of my order but i haven't received the refund in my bank account. Though they are saying refund has been initiated but it's already been 16 days. Refund usually don't take more than 5-7 days. My bank is state bank of india. I am constatlntly connecting with zomato but they are just saying again again the same thing. What should i do? How will i get my money back? Is this kind of service zomato provide to their customers?

                      Im not aware of any online ordering and dont know why my account has been blocked. On reaching zomato customer care, they blocked my account and say it cant be unblocked. My zomato is a gold membership and is valid till 2021. I either need my account back or a new account with the same membership validity.I need my account back as i have not ordered anything. Please be clear about the SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY your system found and mail me the details. If it is not possible to unblock my account, then provide me with a new one with the same gold membership validity. Im a gold member since the beginning. Its very disappointing to see such responses from zomato.

                        Wrong order was delivered and the restaurant made up a lie and the app support staff believed it. I mean this is just wrong. I had to throw away the food. I have ordered multiple times from the restaurant and then they send the wrong order and somehow it's not the wrong order and i'm the one who is lying. Pathetic support staff told me that it was a difference of taste and not a wrong order. Just horrible.

On complaining the same to the concerned department they have nicely said that i won't be provided with any assistance for reordering. They jus said sorry and spoilt my evening.

                              poor delivery, spilled food, no resolution

                              Yesterday[protected] i placed an order with zomato at 4:24 pm from le ga teau - the cake shop of value rs. 946.
                              The cake was meant for delivery to a friend in bangalore for his birthday. At 4:27 on zomato chat support i shared the conatct of the concerned person for delivery, which the zomato executive communicated has been updated.
                              At 5:38 pm i received the first call from the delivery executive, who was unaware of where...

                              The biriyani was rotten and chicken was smelly and may be 2 day old also very badservice from zomato and the resturent name is the lalchi, barasat.. Worst ever. I will never order from zomaro. Very worst service. Everyone should sue zomato. And the meat may be not chicken also. And shop keeper also told us its zomatos fault and he did not have any thing to do. I dont kno who is wright and who is wrong but i want my money back from the cheater

                                I ordered kfc from zomato on april 20th with order id#[protected] amount to rs.833 paid through my debit card.
                                I didnot received any calls from zomato and my ordered got cancelled with the reason that "not able to contact".
                                It is not my fault that zomato was not able to reach me. I shouldn't be charged for something i didnot receive.
                                I want my refund back.

                                  I order and haven't received the food they charged me 100% of the amount.
                                  I ordered and immediately called the delivery boy requested him to cancel they charged me 100 % amount if they charged me they did not deliver the food that i ordered.
                                  This is cheating by zomato. They are saying that i was unavailable to collect the order. Cheating by big reputable companies like zomato is very frustrating for the normal people like us.

                                  Everyday since 3rd april waiting more than 2 hours daily to text with the customer care service of zomato but could not connect this is the zomato customer care service treating us.

                                    I have ordered the food from zomato on 28 th april 5 pm which summed up to 96 but the money got deducted twice. I submitted the debitcard payment details and clicked for place order. I selected the otp option. Otp was sent to my mobile. I enterrd the otp but the order was not placed and cash was debited from my account.
                                    I again clicked for otp and order was placed. Rs.96 was debited from my account. If you could please look into this. Thank you.

                                      With help of contact number [protected] i booked food through zomato from dada boudi at 13.08 hours on 28 april 2019. Estimated time shown as 13.56 through your system. At 13.50 i had a conversation with your customer care (Probably imran). He told me about delayed delivery at 14.10 hrs. On my inquiry at 14.20 hours your customer care (Chandra) told me to wait me for another 25 minutes because of delay on the part of restaurant. It was a hell of experience along with my family and child.
                                      1. No one bothered to keep my update about possible delay.
                                      2. On my inquiry only i came to know about the same.
                                      3. Delay on the part of restaurant is accepted but giving false or inaccurate information by your customer care is not at all expected.
                                      4. Total mockery of customer service.

                                      Shocking shocking shocking.
