I placed my order and within 5minutes cancelled my order. Now zomato is charging me the entire amount as penalty charge on my next order. This is after i did not get any warning from zomato about penalty charges. Also the delivery boy hadnt reached the restaurant and also my food wasnt prepared. I even checked with the restaurant and my food hadnt been prepared. So on basis of what is zomato charging me penalty. Even if they're charging me penalty i asked them to have the food delivered immediately but they refused.
Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I placed an order with Zomato, the delivery boy called me and said he cant reach me due to water logging so i should come and collect the order. I refused then he said, okay i will call you and you should not pick my call, the order will get cancelled on its own. i did as he said. now for the next order i am being charged last order amount as penalty.

    I did order from fauzi dabha gurgaon by internet banking and via card method at the time of payment, payment processing was stucked and notified me incomplete payment then i ordered via cash but 2 times same amount deducted from my account later on.

    Further i am trying to call zomato customer care no. But there is no any no. Is in reachable.

    If customer face any problem then how cat get touch with zomato.

    Resolve this issue as earlier and contact me as soon as possible

      I ordered chicken momo from Wow Momo and Zomato delivered it. The food is not at all cooked properly and completely inedible. When I talked to the customer care executive, they are not refunding me my money, they are not taking back the food. So, I am just stuck with inedible food which I paid for.
      Their customer service is the worst. And they cheated me.

        Item: palak paneer and roti combo
        Description : 2 pc roti and palak paneer.

        But i received only 1 pc roti. When i asked zomato customer care.
        Zomato have not refund my money.

        Instead they credited only 24 zomato credits. Which is not actual money.
        We request you kindly consider this as cheating the customer for not refunding money back. As i asked they to refund the money. Customer support saying money cannot be refunded.
        Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
        I ordered a roll from eatsome, Baner. The money was debited from my account but I did not get the order confirmation. I want the money back as the order wasn’t fulfilled by zomato or eatsome as well. Else i will escalate this issue as this has also occurred earlier. We cannot let go of 124 Rs as is. Kindly redund and make your servers stronger.

        I kept an order on 20th march 2019 of Rs 134.77 and 24th march 2019 of Rs 222 both the times amount got deduced from my debit card but order is not placed. Now a days i am facing this type of issue frequently please take care. I had attached transaction details and reference number below. Kindly do the refund as early as possible.

        I booked sweets from Gupta Bros Sweets through Zomato but received less quantity and the delivery man took full amount.
        I made food ordered on 18/3/19 at 1:55 pm suddenly i got the message that your order rejected due to not getting delivered person on that area. but the amount will be credited your account in some time but still not got refund in my account pls refund fast
        I hv order the food for which i was charged but order is not confirmed. Further no one is responding for my queries in chat for assistance

          I ordered from zomato on 26 march and the delivery time was stated to be 7:39pm.
          Being on a tight schedule, i opted for the zomato delivery, but despite the 45 minute delivery time, it has been over an hour and i still haven't received my order. On calling at the number provided, i came to know that the order was ready and the delivery person has not arrived.
          I request the necessary action to be taken.

          I'm not received my order and I pay online for this order. When I found my refund amount.
          I placed an order through Zomato and the amount was charged for the same on my debit card but the order didn’t get placed and I haven’t got the refund for it yet
          I have canceled a order which I accidentally order... then Your customer care representative called and talked rudely ... that was not way to talk with customers...so you have to take action on him ...
          I had ordered tea on 26th from CAFE YADGAR Malad But restaurant was not able to fulfill my order an my order was declined I have already payed the bill amount online but even after my order was cancelled I still don't received my cash back of RS 115

          For the above order so have received spoiled Food. When I contact the agent they simply say sorry and they will try to avoid this in future. What about me? I asked for refund they say no to that.

            Delivery boy couldn't wait fro 4 minutes when i couldn't pick phone. He cancelled and went.immediately in no seconds i called back. He didn't pick call and my money is not returned saying a all these. This is purely a fraud and they think they can cheat customers in India because of lousy policies. I tried reaching cc but all telling i didnt pick phone so. My question is that in howmuch time a delivery boy should do that. Next QUESTION IS WHEN ADDRESS IS THERE WHY HE COULDN'T REACH TO IT?IF DELIVERY HAS TO BE ON ROAD THEN ONLY USE GOOGLE MAp. WHY THE HELL THEY TAKE MY ADDRESS ACCURATE ENOUGH ON MAP AS WELL IN 2 METERS. NO ONE HE APPROACHED AS MINE IS PURE RESIDENTIAL AREA.
            NOW HE TOOK MY FOOD AND ATE. THIS ZOMATO PEOPLE GIVING ME POLICIES. WAT NONSENSE. I HAVE ADDED SMS SCREENSHOT AND PHONE CALL HISTORY. U CAN SEE IT EASILY that i recieved sms on 8:14 pm that i have not recieved call so can cancelled it. Number given to contact zomato runner is not having any incoming so how they asking that he tried reaching me. 2ndly in 5 mins how can he cancel and my money and prepared food is wasted?? Surely its not thrown but consumed by this kind of delivery boys who do such things.

              I had ordered two fruit pop oatmeal bowls and received just one. I have been trying to reach you since yesterday through zomato chat support, but received no response. Please look into it. Order#[protected]. Order data is 25 march and at 8:12 am. The total bill amount was 177.50. Kindly provide refund for the item not delivered. This is really terrible customer experience.

                Hi zomato,

                Finally i am here because of the patience level that one of the representative had tested and tried. First of all, it has been a pathetic experience with zomato not because of its brand but because of its internal process. I had been facing lot of - lot of - difficulties with the delivery and the customer service. Today, i want to share one of the incidents happened on 26 mar 2019 (Today) at somewhere post 12am.

                I will be attaching some screenshots of the chat that i had with the representative as a prove. Zomato i need you to see now how you are loosing lot of customers day by day. Its beem really horrible time and i really feel petty posting this in social media.

                Coming to the point, i had an order that had to be delivered within 30-40 mins as per the highlight says at the restaurant home page. Restraunt name, order number, order etc everything you will find in the screenshots.

                So after i placed an order wondering it will be delivered soon as said, took almost 1 hour or more - why?- because the delivery boy - he kept his phone switched off. I actually tried contacting him at first when he spoke to me saying that the restaurant took time to hand over the order. And when it was almost more than 50 min i tried chasing zomato customer service and him at the same time. His phone as i said was switched off. I tried calling the restraunt as well but they denied saying that its zomato responsibility.

                So, i tried chasing badly to there customer service because its been out of patience at that time where i got irritated most with the ignorance of the person chatting with me.

                Its already went late and i was waiting for the food to be delivered. But it seemed that zomato customer service really dont care. I got responses for the representative after every 5-7 mins... Or so. Chatting like a robot sending scripted texts. Everything is visible in the screenshots. I wanted to have a look by zomato ceo or higher level authority to see what exactly happen with the service.

                I believe i am not only the one who is facing trouble with zomato... There must have been a lot. This is my anger that burst out when i was ignored tremendously without respecting my time. And was what given was credits as a token of apology. Nobody wants apology or credits. Everybody wants good customer service or service rather. I hope my screenshots will say the rest.

                Zomato please look into this and i need an answer from you as soon as possible.

                Hello, today i place the order for 3 items,
                Restaurant does not pack the food properly due to foods come out and aslo they send wroung food, after share the photos with customers care, they doea not reply, i am going to add some pictures with this complaint, kindly take the action against of them and i want my money back
                The order i placed from lucky carterers from Zomato in airoli, navi mumbai with paid online payment mode and mentioned complete address for delivery.
                But they have cancelled my order by giving reason of network issue while connecting my mobile number.On contrary, they will levy full charge on me for cancelled order.
                The runner boy said that it is being prepared and it was not prepared. It's been2 hours and my food was not delevered yet. This is about last night and i'm filing complaint against zomato. Hotel new chourasia in jabalpur. I'm filing a complaint against Zomato.
                I've made 2 transactions through Zomato worth rs130 each...money got deducted but Zomato cannot confirm the order..

                Just a min ago I had ordered from zomato. Money is deducted but order isn't placed got a error message that payment failed what is this.
                Order no. [protected] is cancelled by abhiruhi hotel and money is not refunded by them. You should take action. I have ordered on 22/3/2019. I have paid through upi. It was 88 bucks. Kindly resolve the problem and return the money as soon as possible.

                      I placed an order on zomato on 25 march 2019 at 6 pm, from udupi subh sagar restaurant for delivery at my address nagwara bangalore. the order ID wa [protected]. I ordered paneer tikka dry whic after amounted to 200INR. they sent me paneer chilly instead of paneer tikka and on raising the complaint and sending them the image of of food delivered, they still did not take any action.

                        I have an issue, i placed a order from bikanervala for sector 62 golf course extension road.
                        But my order was declined by your side. The person utkarsh is saying that my location is wrong.

                        If ypu application is picking up the wrong location on maps then what was my fault in this?

                        I have clearly wriiten the correct address there. Please revert my money as soon as possible.

                        Its not the right way to deal. If i had written there that delievery is for sector 62 then why the restraunt has accepted my order?

                        Answer my questions. Or i should do case? Because i am fed up with zomato. Every time i face some issues with zomato delieveries

                            This is to bring to your notice that my wallet balance of 196/- was is missing. I had conversation on chat your executive advised me by calling to write an email. I explained him that i was not informed by any of the team member that this amount gets expired after certain amount of time which is really not good. Its like you forcing me to buy at the earliest. At least from your team someone should have informed me that it is going to expire on certain date please use it before that. Kindly look in this issue and hear the call recording regarding the assurance that i was given. I want the issue to be resolved. If the issue is not resolved my trust with zamato will be jeopardized.

                              I have ordered food item yesterday but they haven't delivered it by saying wrong address. Since i have already updated my home address in apps manually but due to technical problem of gps it is showing different location. Hence canceled my order and didn't refunded money. I don't understand if gps technical problem then why they don't home address mentioned in apps. Since even after that also they return back the money if they are canceling order, really they are thieves and doing fraud with customer. Last week they deducted money and order didn't confirmed.

                                Free days back had ordered food from zomato and the restaurant where i ordered they delivered me a rotten food nd when i told this to zomato customer service they refunded back my money but after some time they blocked my account without informing me and when i tried to email them they all went unresponsive from yesterday onwards i have wrote them so many emails but they are not replying nor they are telling why they blocked my account please do something regarding this as because my money is there in that account.                                   I order macaroons and then contact support that i want to modify my order they didnt even replied me after that i said cancel my order so they said sorry we cant then i received a call from delivery support they said you have to pay if you cancel the order i said leave it i will talk to the delivery boy and then when i called him he said that your order is cancelled. But i didnt and they are charging me rs305 unnecessary.

                                  Please look into this and help me out

                                    The delivery boy called me to deliver and when i tried answering the call it keeps disconnecting because of the network issue and when i tried to call back the number it’s busy or unreachable.

                                    With in 4 minutes of delivery boy calling me the order gets cancelled and i have been charged in full as penalty for reason being my phone is not reachable!!

                                    I have also updated my exact location on the app so if the phone couldn’t get connected they could have used gps to deliver it to my home.

                                    If delivery agent checked the house name and number or asked anyone on the road they would have shown my house but no he din do anything just made a phone call and when he couldn’t connect the order is cancelled and no refund as well.

                                    And when we chat with the customer service they say that it’s their new policy and in that case we cannot refund.

                                    Nice idea to scam money.

But still i was charged full amount of the order as a penalty.. I was at the door the whole time and with the phone. It was not my mistake. If the phone was unreachable (Not unanswered call) then the delivery boy should have followed the map. What's the use of the map if without call they can't reach the location. I see it as a network error but i am made to pay the price.. The msg from zomato to contact the delivery boy also came after the order got cancelled and while talking to the support, i asked if the order could get delivered now as it was already dispatched but they declined (10-15 mins after cancellation) i paid delivery charges (Rs 20) more than the usual charge (Rs 10) and the delivery boy didn't bother to visit the delivery location according to the map.. He didn't visit the whole neighborhood.. He should have atleast visit the location, then tried calling and if no response, then cancelled and made the payment non-refundable as penalty.
                                        Moreover, they are very unprofessional. The support staff from the app asked me to mail the matter. During mail, when i asked why the delivery boy didn't bother to visit the location to the best understanding of the map and why was i made to pay the penalty even though, i didn't cancel the order, they just stopped replying..
                                        Is this professionalism?? This is pure cheating..
