Hey zomato team,

I am regular customer of zomato. My order id is [protected]

Last day at around 8:00 pm, i had ordered an icecream from amour. But since my registrated number wasn't working. So immediately after placing the order i had asked the zomato support to inform the delivery guy to call me at [protected]. They replied that they had informed the delivery guy.

By 8:48 pm, i didn't received the order, i called the delivery guy, he didn't picked up my call. I called him twice once his phone was busy another time he didn't picked up. I contacted the support team that i didn't received the order at 8:48. They told me that they will reply me soon. They replied me back saying my order has been canceled at 8:50 since i didn't picked up the call. However, the reality was that i didn't even received any call from him. I was in contact with the team asking them that i didn't received any call.

I constantly called the delivery guy, he didn't picked up my call, he later on blocked me. I had called him with another number then he picked up the call. He told me that he called. Even though he didn't, i asked him to share the screenshot of the calls. So when i received the screenshots he basically called me at 8:53 (By that time my order was already canceled). But the reality is that he called me but he didn't rang it for the single time, he did it on purpose since i didn't got any missed call from his number. And i was having my phone in my hand by 8:53 as i was talking to customer chat support.

Later on, on asking him the reality, he told me that he fooled me, he called me after the order got canceled, he confessed that he forgot that he has to contact on another number, so in order to get punished from zomato team he lied. He confessed it.
Later on, he abused me for not telling this to the zomato.

Sir, i think it was an unfair action taken against me, since the delivery guy didn't called me, i have all the proofs, when i called him, when he called me, when my order got canceled, when i contacted zomato, i have every proofs. Kindly go through the same.

Please revert back as soon as possible. And refund the money as i don't want to pay for someone else's fault. I am ready to share all the screenshots and details. Please do the needful.

Clearly the delivery guy lied.

    Hi team,
    This is in regard with my recent order and experience that i've been through, although the order came on time i have a mutual request to make to the organisation, if we could ethically try and help the service boy who came on bicycle riding almost 2-3miles to deliver the item. I completely will not witness for troubling the boy with an attempt to make him work. Could be digestible if could be a half mile away however it was far from the place. I personally would like to request the team and management or operations to look forward and take a vivid step to help him get a vehicle atleast and i personally would like to stand for it. If we could have a portal to donate for a bike atleast. I'm sure with the gross earning for zomato with an accountability for 2018-until now have been quite a lot of numbers that atleast could try an afford a second hand bike for the delivery boy. Henceforth i'm attaching a proof and can further investigation the said. Regards and waiting for a positive response.

      Last night i ordered food from saleem resturent through zomato app. And when i opened my parcel to eat. I saw that it is worth to eat. I requested a refund from them. But vehemently denied by zomato. It would be very necessary to tell here that this is not the first time. I requested you to take strict steps about it.

        I was ordered through zomato and they denied my order after 1.5 hrs when i called him they tell me, i am not acept these kind of things because you are dr. My account and stilli am not receive my money in my account, zomato is very radiculas company and customer care is also the same because they don’t know how to talk with customer and they cut the call beetween without any resolution...0rder no-[protected] mob no -[protected]

          On 10 march midnight i had placed order with ZOMATO order id: [protected]
          The order came after 40-50 min.
          On the receiving the order i found that the food is not hot. And after open the packet i food that food is also not freshly cooked as of the restraunt has just sent me the old cooked food, and upon that also i found some long hair pieces in my fried rice. I tried to raise a complaint on ZOMATO app but in the chat option it was showing that "can't connect at this hour of time and try again". And there was no Customer Care phone available so i had to manage with that food at that point of hour. And in the morning when i got up, the first thing i did was to raise a complaint, but the Chat executive dined to raise as according to their policy i was late to report. Now tell me i spent my hard earned money Rs.560 on the stale food with hair pieces. And on top of thati had tweeted also about this but nothing happened.

              Today i had ordered a dish that is punjabi tadka maggi that is famous product of the cafe but the one i got was totally different. It was not of the cafe i had ordered . They are delivering the food from somewhere else and labelling it as delivered from particular restaurant. Today i am very much disappointed from above service of zomato . They i reported the ossue instantly but I couldn’t get a good result of it . For reference i am attaching the images of the product and the cafe item listed on zomato .

Done a order & forgot to apply promo code at the same time seeking support & get the order on hold but the team assigned for the same cancelled from his end. So i am very much frustrated & disappointed not get any support & not even get food.                   I ordered food from a hunger strike on 15 march 2019 and selected cash on delivery by mistake. As soon as i placed the order i tried contacting the restaurant to cancel the order. The restaurant personnel's number was unreachable because he hadn't recharged his phone and couldn't receive incoming calls. I then called up the delivery boy, Mr Vijay Gupta, and asked him not to pick up the order or help me speak to the restaurant owner so that i could request cancellation. He said sure I'll help you speak to the concerned personnel.

                  Since zomato doesn't allow cancellation, i requested customer service to cancel my order while the food was being prepared. As soon as the delivery was picked up i finally got a call from customer care telling me cancelling the order was not possible since the delivery had been picked up. And i have incorrectly been charged cancellation charges equal to the order amount.

                      My order id is [protected]. I cancel this order because your delivery boy deny to deliver my order within time. He told me that it was take more than 2 hour so he told me to cancel the order. Your delivery boy number is [protected] (Bharat). Kindly talk to your delivery boy. I want to refund my money with penalty charges. I think you will understand nobody can accept this type of service which take more than two hours to deliver a single pizza. I again requesting you refund my amount as soon as possible otherwise i raise my complaint in your escalation department or post my concerns on social media. Hope so you resolve this issue and i will be always connect with zomato services.

                        I dont know what kind of people you hire for your chat team. But let me tell you, they are very very unprofessional. I would like to attach screenshots of the chat that i had today with one of your employees. Inspite of being a very old member of zomato (Since the time zomato was just a restaurant searching app), this kind of behaviour shocked me!! Your cce actually cancelled my order without my permission and threatened to block my profile!!! Is this what you train your cces to do when a customer is in problem? The delivery valet was taking too much time!! By saying 15 mins, 20mins, he took more than an hour. And then even before delivering, the zomato valet pressed the delivered option on his app!! I could not track him. Then when i raised the issue, the chat person delayed a lot in replying. When i wanted to talk to the manager, he started speaking in hindi, cancelled my order, and threatened to block my profile. I want this issue to be resolved asap. Also, how can someone cancel my order, when it was showing delivered on my app??!!

                          I ordered food from zomato on 11th of march but when delivery person came to my office i was in meeting so when i took excuse from my current meeting and came out from room my order was cancelled, it was just delay of 2 to 3 minutes by that time my order was cancelled and zomato people says since food was prepared they can not refund. When we contacted zomato they said they will come back in 2 days but its been 3 days no reply from zomato.
                          When food was ordered and payed that means consumer is need of it, we will not pick call with actual reason, cant you wait for 5 minutes.

                          I have an histroy of call when i received call from zomato when i tried to call back which is only having delay of 2 to 3 mins maximum.
                          Zomato is fraud, cheating people in this way.

                              Zomato valet delivered us broken cake. Valet seemed very careless. I had mentioned a proper address still he took almost an hour to reach us. Delivery location is only 15min away from cake shop.

                                I have ordered food which costs me rs867. 2 from burger king. The payment was done and the order was incomplete showing the issue of incomplete payment. The money was not refunded. When i tried to inquire the matter the helpline showed that they have refunded the payment where as no amount refunded was reflected in my bank account.

                                  Recently i placed order from thali king laxmi nagar through your app but my experience was not so good..

                                  Actually i ordered food on my work location but some reasons i want to deliver food on my house... I call the rider (Delivery person) and request to deliver food on my house but he denied and mis behave... Use cheap language and cut the phone call...

                                  Zomato app deduct money from my zomato credit and i don't received any food from thali king..

                                  I don't want credit but please take strict action against the rider...

The rider that was assigned to my order told me that some other rider has picked up my food from the restaurant. After waiting for so long zomato is telling me that i asked the rider to cancel the order. I waited for one hour. They did not even give me the number of the other rider. Restaurant dsnt know anything. Zomato is cheating on customers. And at 11 pm in the night they are making fool or their hungry customers

                                      They did not send sev with soup i call to restaurant and i have a call recording also for the same they were sorry for forgetting to send sev with soup

                                        Please refer to the message that had been sent from sbi regarding the payment made to zomato for the order placed:

                                        Thank you for using state bank internet banking. Reference no. For transaction of rs. 555.0 from a/c ending 4520 to zomato media pvt. Ltd on 13-mar-19 at 19:53 is igafpzils7.

                                        Though the payment has been made, zomato did not acknowledge it.

                                        Kindly help in retrieving the amount.
