Today[protected], I placed an order using the Zomato App from the restaurant Chef Style, Gurgaon. This order was placed at 12:57 PM and as per the app the delivery time from this restaurant shows 30-40 minutes. As no delivery person contact was given in the app, I called the restaurant, no one picked up the call. I tried calling twice but now the line was switched off by the restaurant. I will post a review at the restaurant website as well on this. with no delivery person contact and no ability to reach the restaurant, I tried the Zomato Chat. At first there was a waiting of 8 minutes and post that for extra three minutes no one picked up the chat. Later, there was someone who got connected and when I explained my concern to this person (Amit from Zomato Chat). He did not respond or a long time to the point that he was deliberately ignoring the chat. I have attached the screenshots for the chat as well. For two hours of time I did not get my order and no one was responsive when I had already paid for my order. Its infuriating, ugly and absolutely pathetic customer service from Zomato. I wish to take this to the CEO. I have sufficient evidences to prove my point on this. This better be addresses or the company will bear grevious consequences.
